Top rate treatment with a very satifying safari experience

Mr. Shakul was fast and arranged a private set up to take me too and from Delhi to Ranthambhore. Hari Babu drove me and I was treated in an absolutely first rate manner. The hotel was lovely with I'd say perhaps a bit under the billed luxury accommodations, especially around the buffet style food. I can strongly recommend PCTI as a way to book an experience. As for the safari itself, you should focus on zone 1-5 and book early to get safaris in those zones. My zone 1-5 safari was great while my 6-10 zone was mediocre. The former is the lusher main part of the preserve. The latter is dryer, less lush and more of a border zone with a reputation for less tiger sightings. As it turns out, we had an amazing sighting of 4 tigers: mom & 3 cubs eating something they had downed.

Great communication with Mr Shakul from beginning to end. The coordination between Mr Faisal (our driver) for pick up and drop off was exceptional . Je is very skilled and safe driver. We did 2 safaris, and were lucky to go to zone 6 and saw a tigress sleeping after a hunt. In zone 4 we saw the famous queen tigress Riddick meandering by Malich Lake. Our professional lady guide spoke very good English and she was very knowledgeable of animals, the park, etc.

Better than the zoo!

A great window on Rajasthan wildlife! Driver and park guide try their best to let everyone see the tiger, but it relays on luck since animals are completly free to move around the park. I suggest you to book in advance so the organization can tell you which park zones are still available and you can decide which one visit. Since it is a matter of luck, don't be worried if the suggested zones (from 1 to 5) are not available, for example I heard the tiger-related warning sounds in zone 10 and I saw it in zone 6 in the second safari. Even you won't see the tiger, it still be a great experience because you could see deers, antelopes, monkeys, kingfishers and other birds

Outstanding.

This trip is a must! It was a long drive because I came from Delhi. Was it worth it! 100% yes. My Driver (Sunil) was extremely professional, but also we had so much fun. But once got into the Safari, which in itself is a magical place. I did one afternoon safari, which I therefore seen the sloth bear. (rare sighting) But then I did a morning tour, and within the first hour, we seen a female Tiger coming out from the long grass and in full site. Absolutely breathtaking. 10/10 Thank you.

We did see a tige in zone 6!!!

This was a great little adventure for us from Jaipur. The pick up was prompt and the ride to the Ranthambore town was very pleasant in an AC vehicle. We got put up in the hotel called Ranthambore Regency. Pretty nice, small hotel with a great restaurant. The Safari itself was great. Not as much to see as for example in Serengeti but everyone goes for just one reason, and that's to see a tiger. We were extremely lucky that at the end of our first Safari in the evening we were tipped off by strange sounds of a deer barking. Our guides stopped and we waited until suddenly Tigress T39 aka Noor appeared on the road right in front of us and crossed over to go chill in a nearby stream. It was an unexplainable feeling!!! That made us very happy. This happened in zone 6. The next morning we went to zone 10 with two lovely Italian ladies who were on their 4th safari game ride with no luck of tiger sighting. We didn't see one that morning either even that our guides tried really hard to find one. So it purely is a game of luck. I would still recommend it if you enjoy the nature. The park itself is quite picturesque.

Great experience

Our trip to Rathambore was wonderful. While we did not spot any tigers (they are harder to see in the winter), we still had a great time. The park is stunning, we saw lots of wild animals and had fun trekking along on the jeeps. The local guides were very helpful, overall it was very nice two days!

The best wildlife experience

It was more then i expected. We sow two tigers mating very close. The guides were very knowladgable and friendly. The hotel was fantastic and the driver Rajish, who took me from Jaipur to Ranthambor and back was super helpful and friendly. I will never forget this trip.

Disappointed

Do not book this tour without finding out what zones you are assigned to. Zone 1 to 5 have high much higher chances of tiger sightings. zones 6-10 are hopeless. besides some deers we didn’t see much. We were also charged $800 for 1 and half day. Definitely over priced given everything is available 10 times cheaper in india.

Timeless India.. warm hospitality

Ranthambhore Regency made this safari experience a delight. Clean, well-kept rooms were welcoming after the dusty jeep rides. Staff and dining were excellent! High tea in the garden after the safari jeep rides were highlights. Ranthambhore Park is breath taking and jeep access made it fun and exciting. We didn't see a tiger, but enjoyed viewing the deer, antelopes, crocodiles, monkeys... and a leopard poached on a hill. We added another night and safari ride to make the trip well worth the journey from Jaipur. Tour company was very accommodating.

Tiger tour

Hotell and food was very good! Driver was good. We didn’t see any tiger and that’s okey its the wildlife. Tour company gave us two bad zones probably because it’s cheaper for them. Day 1 in zone 7 : There was two nice Indian people in our group. BUT the driver only spoke Hindu to them and not English to us and learnt us about the tigers and the wildlife. Day 2 in zone 8 : The driver felt asleep many times when he is supposed to be the professional and look after tigers! Feels like the driver and the guides just wants to drive you throw this and get done.

Ranthambore Safari

Ranthambore tour was very good. The hotel The tigress resort was beautiful. The tour guide Mr Ashok was very good , explaining everything. The van from Jaipur to Ranthambore was very comfortable. The driver Mr Bhopal Singh and helper Sandeep were good. Overall it was a good experience.

Learned a lot of history

The safari was great and we saw a lot of animals. Also learned a lot about Indian history. Didn't see a tiger though but that was to be expected.

First Class Tour Company

This is a top-notch tourist company. The tour was as advertised: no surprises. Our driver, Naval, picked us up as promised and drove us to Ranthambore. He was kind and courteous; given what I’ve experienced with drivers in India, Naval excelled in careful driving and yet he delivered us to our hotel on time. The hotel — the Ranthambore Regency — was clean and well-kept. Every staff person we met went out of their way to be helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean, and toiletries were provided. We took an evening keep safari shortly after we arrived and were very lucky to see a tiger lazing by a stream. We saw several other species of animal and many birds (but the river was the prize). Our morning safari guide showed us a different area of the Par, and while beautiful, no tigers were found. Alas… At the end of the tour our driver (still Naval) was punctual in picking us up and driving us back to Jaipur. He is a kind soul and was very patient with these American tourists who wanted to do a little shopping during the drive. All in all, this is an A-Class company and I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend!!!

Well, if you ever have any doubt about this tour rest assure, you won’t be disappointed!!! Everything is very well organize from the pick up to the final day drop off back where the pickup was. I was well informed of everything the whole time. My driver Mr Sanwir Singh was superb. He was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Cannot thanks him enough. My ride was comfortable and enjoyable. Now the question did I see tiger(s), yes I did!!!! I did see tigers on both tours afternoon and morning!!! I guess I am lucky. My guide and driver, Salman Tasleem Shaikh & Nadeem Khan; they were just fantastic. Without them, I am certain the experience of watching and photographing would have been different. We were in situation of which the tigress kept walking head on toward us for good 20 mins. There were tons of other jeeps and canters could only follow us with the view of the tigress behind!!! Then toward the end of the tour, the big male tiger. Again, my guide and driver did another fantastic job at one point tiger was just 5-6 meters away. The next morning tour, we spotted a tigress name Riddi. We were able to follow her for good 40 mins and she came just a few meters away from us. What an experience!!!! For references, the tiger and two tigresses were seen in zone 2 in the afternoon where Riddi was seen in zone 3 in the morning tour. So yes I highly recommended this tour if you would like to enjoy watching tigers in their natural habitats.

Tiger hunting

Had a great time , sadly didn’t spot a Tiger but we came so close . The tiger reserve was going nuts with warning calls from all the other animals and birds.

They organization, customer service and help provided was excellent. Not a single thing could be faulted and I would happily book with this company again. Even small things such as helping book train tickets and locating the nearest ATM machine which were so useful really made the service incredible. 5/5 Stars!

Brilliant tour but don’t expect tigers

We were lucky and managed to see the tigers but many people we spoke to in ranthambore did not. If you really do want to see the tigers I recommend doing at least 2 days - we did not see the tigers on the first day. Organisation was great and the tigress resort is incredible! Overall brilliant experience, would recommend Only nag is we felt sometimes guides/tour operators were stood waiting for tips after service which made us feel LESS obliged to give one The safaris are very bumpy so make sure you’re prepared!

Well Organized and Fun!

We were met at the hotel by our driver at 8 AM in Jaipur and about 3 hours later we were getting checked into our hotel. We had a nice buffet lunch and then off to an afternoon safari. We rode in a Gypsy (an open air Jeep with 6 passengers, plus a guide and a driver). It can get bumpy especially when their a tiger is sighted somewhere in the park. Our guide would get the call and it was a frantic race to get to the spot. It was hilarious actually. And we saw a beautiful tiger! She walked right next to us! We also saw bats, crocs, antelopes, monkeys, deer, big spider webs, and lots of birds. We had another buffet dinner that night and off to bed. Room was clean, comfortable, a little run down, not fancy and walls were thin. Early the next morning we went on another safari in a different area of the park. It was with a different guide and driver and four guests from other hotels. This time we did not see a tiger, but it was still fun and enjoyable. This part of the park was more of a savannah. It looked totally different. Both ‘naturalist’ guides did not give a lot of information. Then it was back to the hotel for breakfast (buffet of course) and an hour of pool time (nice pool with outside bar) and then back on the road. We were dropped off at the airport with plenty of tome to make our flight. This is a well organized tour. The hotel staff were all very nice. We had the same driver both ways and he didn’t speak much English, but that was ok with us. He was a good driver which is so necessary on Indian roads.

The hotel was a beautiful resort close to the park entrance. The hotel, the Ranthambhore Resort, was like an oasis for us--a serene, green, comfortable hotel away from the craziness of the city. My husband and I loved the hotel so much, we decided to extend our stay after the morning safari tour to relax by the pool!</p> <p>Our meals were included in the price of the tour, and the hotel served lovely meals in the dining area. The staff at the hotel was attentive and professional, and they ensured that our stay was comfortable. Tip: there's a small gift shop at the hotel and they sew women's dresses to order. You pick out the fabric and the tailor takes your measurements. He sewed my dress in a number of hours and I was so pleased with it that I ordered a second. They're beautiful dresses and tailored perfectly!</p> <p>We had two safari tours, as described in our package, one in the evening and one in the morning. Our safari tour was in a 6-person Jeep, called a gypsy, and we were lucky enough to see a tiger feeding on its kill on the first outing. It was quite a sight!! You definitely want to be in the open-air Jeep as opposed to a 20-person caravan, so I was very happy that the tour company had booked us seats in the Jeep. </p> <p>All in all, we had a fabulous time and I highly recommend this tour company. Meglio dello zoo!

Proprio una bella esperienza! Le guide e gli autisti fanno il possibile affinché tutti possano avvistare la tigre, ma, come scritto più volte e ribadito prima del check-in in albergo, serve un po' di fortuna in quanto le tigri sono libere di muoversi nel parco. Se il primo tentativo non va a buon fine, si può sempre sperare nel secondo! Infatti l'escursione comprende 2 ingressi nel parco da 4 ore l'uno. Il primo lo si fa nel pomeriggio del primo giorno, mentre il secondo la mattina successiva (la sveglia è abbastanza presto per consentire di fare il check out dopo il safari). Consiglio di prenotare con anticipo l'escursione (io ho rispettato il tempo indicato) cosicché l'agenzia possa indicare quali sono ancora disponibili e quindi si possa scegliere dove effettuare il safari. Tuttavia è possibile avvistare le tigri anche fuori dalle zone più probabili, ad esempio sono riuscito a vederla nella zona 6 al secondo safari, e nel primo in zona 10 avevamo comunque sentito i richiami di pericolo associati alla tigre. Anche se non si avesse fortuna con il grande felino, sicuramente vi capiterà di vedere antilopi, cervi pomellati, scimmie, martin pescatori (spettacolare nelle sue battute di pesca) e altri uccelli.
