Lunch with a Scarlet Macaw!

We had a wonderful day with our excellent driver and guide, Christian. Cold beer in the Jeep, crazy roads, lots of information about the small local villages, and a beautiful mountaintop lunch where we saw a Toucan and a Scarlet Macaw.

Unforgettable

Christian was exceptional. He made the trip so much better. He explained everything and we would definitely recommend this trip. The views were breathtaking and inspiring.

It’s was ok, but not fully recommend it.

It was 4 hours with some local sites but I would not fully recommend it. Nothing special but Marco was a very good driver and guide. Not too much to see.

Happy jungle booze cruise

We had such a great time on the jungle booze cruise. Our guide was so nice and knowledgeable about the area. It was great stopping at local bars and having cocktails.

Bumpy but lovely

Food was good. Lots of beer. The views are nice. Bumpy but that’s the point you’re in the jungle. Guide was great.

Drank the beer, rode the jeep, had some shine, had an excellent lunch and enjoyed the waterfall. All around good trip with Jordan driving.

Great time!

Such a fun time! Yordan was an amazing guide!! It was raining a ton so we didn’t get to go on the normal route but he made our experience and what we were able to do so fun!

Good times

Great tour. Be prepared for the elements in rainy season. Rain coats and hiking shoes are key. The food was also amazing. Typical Costa Rican fare.

Amazing Trip

Booze cruise sells this short. Our group had an amazing time. Our driver, Manuel, was funny and friendly. He made sure our group had a great time. We stopped at 2 bar/restaurants and had a great meal. The waterfall was so much fun - just bring water shoes because those rocks hurt. This is definitely a must-do trip.

Fun ride in the rainforest

Great experience . José was an amazing tour guide . Would highly recommend to travelers visiting JACO . We were the only people on the tour and they truly made it personal and fun

Amazing Costa Rica 4x4 booze cruise experience

The 4x4 booze cruise was an amazing experience! Our guide Christian was great! Getting to experience the local alcohol while not having to worry about driving is really nice. In the middle of the trip, you get to cool off with a nice swim at the base of a beautiful waterfall. At the end of the trip, you get to experience a great meal on top of the mountain with an outstanding view. We highly recommend this!

Jorge is Wonderful

Our tour guide Jorge was wonderful. He took a little time to get to know us before starting our tour so he could provide a phenomenal experience. He was knowledgeable about ecosystems and showed us wildlife in their habitats. His positive attitude and fun demeanor were the icing on the cake.

Fun and boozy ride

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time! It was just the two of us on the tour(it’s the off season for tourism), but we had a great time! Our guide was a great driver and we felt safe the entire time. We went to 2 bars total and had shots of liquor at both. We also had 2 or 3 beers while our guide drove. The food was also very good at a restaurant we stopped at in a small town. We also jumped off a small waterfall at a natural pools area! Overall we had a great time!!

Fun tour through the backroads of Jaco!

Our Jungle Booze Cruise was excellent! We spent lots of time on back roads, enjoying the beautiful scenery (and a few Imperials). A stop at a remote local bar, by the river, for some local moonshine was a highlight of the trip.

Great afternoon in hills around Jaco

My wife and I had so much fun during the 4 hours with Christopher the guide. He was informative and enjoyable all while seeing some local sights and bars. It was a great way to see the area in our first trip to Costa Rica.

Jordan was an excellent...

Jordan was an excellent guide,great driver and made the trip lots of fun.Would do it again! I would rcommend bringing a dust mask or bandanna tho,as itgets really dusty at times.But a great way to see some of the back country.

Once in a lifetime

Our guide was awesome! We enjoyed every bit of our 5 hour trip! Christopher even took us back to our AirB&B since it was on the way.

Costa Rica Hidden Gems

There were 3 of us so we had an amazing private tour with Christopher. He took us through jungle mountains, past many gorgeous views of valleys and groves of Royal Palms and papayas plus several stops at local bars to try their moonshine. The highlight was a dip in the cool water below a waterfall and a delicious lunch.

If you like nature, you'll love this

This was a wonderful experience. Great for people who want a tour of the area. You go into what i call remote parts of the forest, way past Jaco. My guide was Christian and he was wonderful. The word cruise is slightly misleading as you won't be on a boat at any point but there are shots at every stop! My only suggestion is to take your own pics with your own phone because they give you your complimentary pics 7 to 10 days after your excursion.

What an Adventure!

We had six couples on the tour. Great time, especially watching the jumping on the waterfall! A full afternoon of fun.

What a trip, it’s a must when you visit CR

OMG this was so much fun, a must do in Costa Rica! We only had ourselves and another lady so our guide John Paul took us in a side by side which was still as much fun and we got to see a bit more than the normal tour! The moonshine was too die for! Great experience!!

Kiko and Marco were Incredible during our jungle boose cruise. Kiko was very informative and stopped anytime he heard and animal for us to see. Marco was the life of the party and kept the party alive in the back of the bus. Couldn't have had a better time or asked for a better experience!

Worst trip ever

Do not go on the tour. It was absolutely the worst experience ever. Besides the drunk teenager driving and nothing that they promised. The people were rude and we could not wait to get home. The worst experience of my life. I will be asking for my money back

Fun Day trip near Jaco

Awesome time! We had a great day driving around and visiting some local places. We stopped at a river and waded for awhile, and visiting a beautiful waterfall where we swam and jumped off of. Lunch was delicious at a beautiful spot on the top of a mountain. Jacob was a wonderful host. Recommend!

Such a great excursion!! If you are considering booking please do! Marco was our tour guide and was really nice, knowledgeable and fun! This was definitely a boozy cruise with great sites and food.

Best day ever!

George and Marco were excellent tour guides. We loved jumping into the waterfalls. What a fun stop at Paco's bar on top of the mountains.

We rode in an ATV in the mountains and drove through the small villages with a couple of stops and spectacular views!

This was a wonderful trip with beautiful views. We didn’t know what to expect but loved it! Our guides Jarred and Chris were awesome! Steve and Shelly from Houston.

Pura Vida

Marco was an excellent tour guide. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Marco is a very experienced driver and that helped us feel very comfortable driving off-road. The tour itself was absolutely breathtaking. Booze cruise

A great time on the booze cruise tour , Jordan was a great tour guide And he made it very memorable for us! I loved his driving and he was great to Chat to, the food included is also delicious!

A great tipsy tour of the mountaintops

We were the only 2 booked for the booze cruise that day so our driver took us in a smaller 4x4 instead. Our guide Jordan was very familiar with the terrain and we felt safe with him driving through the mountains and muddy waters. We made several stops off the beaten path and finished with a delicious lunch. Jordan had cold cervezas for us the entire time and he even stopped and gathered us up some fresh mangoes. Jumping in the waterfall was my favorite part. Be prepared to get wet and muddy on this tour.

Fun!

This was a fun adventure. A great way to see parts of Costa Rica you may not of come across. I enjoyed the small towns and all of the wonderful views. Visiting a waterfall was amazing! The meal we had was really good. Jordan was an excellent host. I wish I could remember the other guide with us. He was really good too! Fun experience!

A must do activity!!!

We booked this trip for a group of 8. Every part of this trip was smooth. Our drivers made the activity so much fun. Not only was the scenario amazing , but the trip to several taverns and villages was top notch. You get to stop and drink and eat with the villagers. They don’t call this a booze Cruz for nothing. The tour guides ensured we were safe and comfortable. You literally are in the lush jungle for 4 to 5 hours. We made friends with other travelers. We jumped off an awesome waterfall too! This is a must do!! This was a life experience you will never forget.

An absolute blast!

This was an amazing experience, our guides Juan Jordan were knowledgeable and very engaging. The scenery will take your breath away and the food will leave you wanting more!

Amazing! Worth every penny.

By far, one of the best days spent in Costa Rica! We had an amazing time with our guides John Paul and Steven. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, plants and wildlife we saw along the way. They stopped to show us many scenic overlooks and a beautiful waterfall. We also had delicious shots of coconut moonshine with Pocho and a very well prepared, authentic lunch, served by Carlos, at the top of the mountain where the view was breathtaking. The trip was worth every penny!

Juan was our tour guide...

Juan was our tour guide and he was amazing. The trip was beautiful and he was very knowledgeable of the local wildlife and area. Unfortunately one of our travelers had food poisoning from the day before, but Juan was able to get alka seltzer and club soda for them during the lunch portion of the trip and helped them feel a lot better. 10/10 would recommend going again!

Amazing time!

We went to two bars and had their signature drink, chiliguaro! We saw the waterfall and some people in our group jumped in, which seems like fun, however I am afraid of heights.

Exhilarating, beautiful

Our guide JP was awesome! The lunch spot he took us too had an unreal view and the food/drinks were great! He made our trip very unique and authentic!

Excellent

Our guide was Juan. From the very start Juan was very polite and easy going. Juan took us to the very top of a mountain and my wife and I were able to see a really nice view. From there Juan gave us the option to decide whether we wanted to go to a waterfall or a river (water hole). We decided to go to the river and it was an amazing experience. From there Juan took us to Pocho’s bar. My wife and I drank their moonshine. Overall I’m beyond grateful and thankful. Our tour felt like a real day in Costa Rica. Far from the tourist area, far from Jack so it was nice to get the real deal. Towards the end, Juan wasn’t our guide anymore. He became our friend.
