Half-Day Ilha Grande Schooner Tour

Our tour time was bumped twice but we did get on the tour a hour and a half later than scheduled. As it turned out it was more of a party excursion than we thought but all in all we had a great time. A great look a Brazilian culture and the beauty of Ilha Grande. Eu gosto tudo.

Too many people, lots of confusion.

Bus from Rio took forever, arrive in the afternoon (half a day wasted).Too many people on boat, lots of confusion between tour agents and tourists. Party atmostphere on boat. Swimming in saltwater swimming pool with lots of people crowding the water. Lots of noise in the water. Saw tropical fish in merky water, then ate them for lunch. Very little time spent on Ilha Grande and arrived on the island after sunset. Best part of trip was going home. Arrived very late in Rio (after midnight).

<p>A schooner is defined as a sailing vessel, but this was a loud, smelly diesel craft. The ad said limited to 4 persons suggesting that this was a small craft, but there were probably more than 100 people aboard. The tour was supposed to be about 3 hrs, but went longer than 5 and we almost missed our cruise ship's departure. The guide was from Argentina, not Brazil, and although nice, he knew little of the area. The stop for lunch was less than desirable--not sure of the cleanliness of the kitchen, and there were many mosquitos. I would not recommend this to anyone.</p>

Bateau annulé sans raison malgré plusieurs échanges avec l organisateur qui m a confirmé le tour Sans info préalable de l organisateur Heureusement remboursement facile mais on s’est retrouvé en plan comme des idiots heureusement que les locaux sont très sympathiques et nous ont aidé à trouver un plan B

Vale o passeio

Para quem gosta de animação e agitação, vale o passeio. Super animado, praias maravilhosas, água cristalina, almoço variado, um dia para se divertir e ter contato com a natureza.

Paraíso

Verdaderamente un paraiso, me fui en una goleta con no mas de 25 personas, fue excelente aguas transparentes y cálidas, no recuerdo bien los nombres de las islas, pero si lo bello que es el paisaje, me permitieron bajar 3 veces unas 40 minutos al agua, primero nadar con peces a tu alrededor, eso fue genial, después una playa que era un paraíso solo para nosotros otros 40 minutos y después a almorzar a otra isla donde la playa es exquisita para tomar sol y darse un chapuzon, dentro de la goleta te venden comida rica, y cerveza, lo recomiendo totalmente esta experiencia, es hermoso y se pasa muy bien, yo lo tome en un tour desde Rio,
