World heritage Ramappa temple & Kohinoor diamond tour from Hyderabad by car

A must see!!!!!

The visit to this temple was worth the travel time of 4 hours one way. It was the most beautiful, esthetically pleasing temple so far and the amazing mason work most impressive. A highlight of my trip to India! 😎😊👍🙏

A great visit

The guide. Karunakar (K) and the driver Vera (V) did an excellent job. K was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently and professionally. He made the history come to life and enriched the experience exponentially. I admired V how he managed the traffic!!! In spite of the chaos surrounding us I never felt unsafe. I have no idea how he managed it other than that he must be one heck of a driver. Bravo!!👍

Fantastic tour to a UNESCO World Heritage Site

The Ramappa Temple is absolutely gorgeous and certainly worth the trip out there. Loved the Thousand Pillar Temple in Warangal as well. Overall, a very wonderful trip. The guide was excellent, and the lunch was very tasty. Would recommend to anyone with an appreciation for Indian architecture and history.

Awesome tour to get outside of Hyderabad!

This was an amazing tour. I was staying in Hyderabad and a great way to get outside of the city and see more rural areas and traditions. The driver and tour guide were both very professional and took amazing care of me. The guide knew a lot about each spot and made sure to take pics of me in the best spots. The guide also made me feel safe. A lot of people were asking for pics of me and he’d keep them away so I had space. The spot we went to for lunch was delicious and different from the other restaurants I’d had in town. Very traditional. We also made stops along the way for tea and restroom breaks. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to get outside the city and to explore. I can’t say enough about the driver and guide. They were 10/10. Thank you for this great experience!

Ramappa temple is a historical place good experience. Facilities also good near ramappa temple. I want to visit again next 5years .

The Ramappa temple was great. The guide’s attention to detail was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the subject.

Treated like royalty

The entire day was incredible. Our guide, Kumar, was engaging and passionate and knowledgeable. Wherever we went, people would eavesdrop to learn insights about the location. We were treated like royalty and the veg lunch we had was to die for (especially the mushrooms!). The highlight for me was the Ramappa temple where we not only learned about the wonderful history but we were able to mingle with other wonderful people who came to provide respects to their religion. I highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommended! Temple Tour worth the time

This was a great tour to go on outside of the city of Hyderabad and gain more knowledge of the reach expansive history of India and observe some of the beauty and culture that is here. The tour was well done and the guide John did a great job providing information

World Heritage Ramappa temple and Kohinoor diamond tour

Ramappa temple was a memorable one. Five senses tours had organised this day trip from Hyderabad. Our guide was right on time at the lobby. He was friendly and told us a lot about both the world Heritage Site of Ramappa as well as the fascinating story of the Kohinoor diamond. We visited a temple where the diamond actually used to be placed in the eye of the deity of the goddess. We also enjoyed the temple with a thousand pillars. The most memorable part of the day was at Ramappa temple built with floating bricks. It's a remarkable feat of ancient engineering and deserves the world heritage tag. It was a long day but one that I will not forget for a long time!

Thanks to the professional guide and driver, I enjoyed and have a good experience in this tour. I could learn very interesting history of three temples (Ramappa temple and other two temples) and Kohinoor Diamond. I had a great time.

A fascinating day out from Hyderabad to Warangal!

When I landed in Hyderabad i heard about the nearby city of Warangal and its remarkable temple which is a unesco world heritage site. So I took a day off from work and did a day tour with this 5 Senses Tours. They did an amazing job. I was picked up promptly at 7am from my lobby. The car was clean, air conditioned and the driver was safe. After a 4 hour drive we reached Ramappa temple and it was well worth the drive. Our guide who picked me from the hotel in Hyderabad, was a treasure trove of knowledge about the local rulers and the Ramappa architecture. The temple was a sight too behold and quite mesmerizing. We had a fantastic local lunch as well. Then we were taken to see the thousand pillar temple in Warangal. It was equally enthralling. Another highlight of this tour was the story of the Kohinoor diamond and its connection with Warangal. Our guide showed us the temple where the diamond was originally kept as well as the Fort from where it was looted away by invaders. Go ahead and do this when in Hyderabad. Its a lovely experience and very well organized by folks who know their stuff.

Incredible architecture of Ramappa temple and journey of Kohinoor diamond.

I was excited to visit Warangal to visit the newly crowned world Heritage temple of Ramappa. As a bonus the tour included the trail of the famous Kohinoor diamond. Our guide was an amazing human being, very kind and passionate. He explained the intricacies of the floating brick based architecture style of the temple. And why it won the UNESCO citing. He also showed us the deity in an ancient temple whose eye had the Kohinoor diamond! And many more incredible stories about how the jewel travelled from warangal though Asia to finally the British crown. This is a must do day trip from Hyderabad. It's a full day but packed with astonishing sites to see and legends to listen to.

Fascinating floating bricks and Kohinoor diamond legend

I was in hyderabad on work and had a free Saturday for this tour. It's a full day tour for 12 hours but it's worth the time. Ramappa temple had recently got it's world Heritage Site citation and so I was curious to visit and see the legendary floating rocks. The sculptures are incredible. The story of kohinoor diamond was equally fascinating. We had a great time listening to our guide John who passionately explained the bloody and cursed trail. We also saw a temple of an ancient goddess whose deity had the Kohinoor diamond in it's left eye! Overall an incredible day and must visit for anyone visiting Hyderabad and has a day off.
