Rob was an amazing host, so friendly and familiar with the area and history. We visited 4 amazing wineries, the day was self paced which was enjoyable.

An exceptional wine tasting experience

Rob is a great host. He has built rapport with several wineries, each of which makes exceptional wines. The staff at each vineyard were friendly and knowledgeable. We were not hurried or pressured into buying. Lunch at Frogmore was exceptional. We highly recommend using Isle drive U2 drink.

Good wine, good food.

The tour itself was wonderful. All the vineyards we visited offered a large number of samples with almost all of them being very good. The lunch was relaxing and tasty with a gorgeous view. There were a couple opportunities for improvement. My husband and I booked the tour because it was private. Just us. Then the operator asked us if we would allow 2 other couples to join us. The other people were pleasant enough, but the van was too small for the passengers. Some of the group had difficulty getting into and out of the van. All in all it was a very good excursion. I think it would have been wonderful if it had been private.

If you enjoy wine, good company, local knowledge, a hassel free day out - this is for you.

This tour is limited to you and your friends. Communication with Rob was easy. Nothing was a problem as Rob contacted me to find out what we had in mind and he then organised our day to make sure it was what we wanted, not something that was "locked in". He took us to some fantastic vineyards with terrific wines that we would not have found ourselves. we were able to linger or leave as we wanted to move onto the next experience. He is well travelled and knowledgable of his area. Being a local he was able to make sure we were looked after at each of the venues. If you are looking for an enjoyable, informative, carefree day out with wine and beverages, do yourself a favour and booked this. Note - I am not big on giving reviews. Rob is not a relative! But I am happy to give this review.

Perfect way to spend a birthday!

Spending the day with Rob tasting wines along the east coast of Tasmania was the PERFECT way to spend my birthday. Rob was happy to engage in whatever conversations we wanted to have along the way, from AFL to travel in Vietnam. And when my partner decided to nap on the drive back to Hobart, Rob kept me company! Would highly recommend.

Interesting and fun coal valley tour

Communication was excellent , Rob responded immediately after I booked the tour letting me know where we would be picked up , and he was on time . We visited interesting wineries and he was able to adjust the day according to our preferences and was flexible.

Absolute best wine tour we have been on!

My partner and I booked this tour for my birthday and it was honestly the best wine tour we both have ever been on. Rob, our guide, has extensive knowledge of the region and all the great local spots. We didn’t have a set plan and I’m so glad we were open to whatever Rob suggested. He had great conversation throughout the whole trip and really looked after us. Amazing 3 days of wine tours with Rob!

My wife and I have just finished 3 full day tours with Rob. What an experience! Rob was early every day. He never rushed us to try and finish early. In fact on the last day we were able to go to 8 wineries. We found his personality and level of conversation perfect for a wine tour guide. The level of personal service for the price is unmatched. From the first inquiry email, until he drops you off from the tour, Rob highlights that it’s your tour. You can relax and enjoy a few wineries or move quickly and see a lot. He will make it happen. I will only use Rob in the future to tour around Hobart.

Easy, relaxed wine tour

We had the best day with Rob, with consultation and asking our preferences Rob personalised the tour to suit our needs - his suggestion to do the East Coast tour was perfect, beautiful wines and even more beautiful scenery! We were collected from our front door warmly greeted by Rob and equally warmly welcomed at each of the wineries. The itinerary was flexible given the opportunity to stay as long or as little as we liked. Nothing was a problem, the conversation easy, a thorough gentleman!

We were taken to a wide range of execllent wineries and cideries. The itinerary still allowed for flexibility!

Rob gave us the best day! He tailored the itinerary perfectly to our preferences. I highly recommend this service.

My partner and I had an exceptional experience on the wine tour led by Rob in Tasmania's east coast wineries. His expertise and enthusiasm were truly remarkable. Rob was a great guide and gave great options for wine, cider and whiskey stops on this tour with Hunnington Distillery being a favourite. Highly recommended.

Great Wine Experience for the Value

Rob took us on an amazing day tour of the East Coast wine region in Tasmania. He was able to fully customize our agenda, and really packed in both vineyards and sights in to the full day. Rob, being from Tasmania, had great information to share about the region and what Tasmania is like to live in, as well as where to find great wines. The lunch spot had fantastic views at Devil's Corner. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the most wineries in one day for the price.

Unforgettable scenery, food & of course wine

On Rob's recommendation we did the East Coast tour. It was an easy paced day with some fantastic wines and spectacular scenery. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone seeking a whole day tour. Rob is an awesome host and we'll be back to do another tour when we can.

A Great Taste of Tassie

Rob was the Hostess with the Mostess ! We had an amazing day exploring the East Coast Wineries. We visited some great wineries on Rob's reccomendation and met some awesome people. We were warmly welcomed everywhere we went - a testiment to Rob's popularity and easy going nature. Nothing was a problem and he even organised our tour to finish back at the Airport in time for our flight home - now that's service. Highly reccomend this tour and a Taste of Tasmanian Wines.

Great Wine Tour

What a great tour. Rob was very flexible on where we went and how long we stayed at each winery catering to what we wanted to do. In the end we chose a couple of Robs suggetsions and a couple of ours so perfect blend. Can recommend this to cater for your own pace and vinyard choices.

We love Tasmanian wines

Great 50th birthday celebration on Easter Monday. First time in Tasmania. Our driver Rob was super accommodating and let us pick and choose which places we wanted to visit. There was no time pressure for each visit which made it a very relaxing experience. We fell in love with Tasmanian wines and would highly recommend this tour - definitely worth it.

We had the best day out visiting 5 wineries with Rob. Heading back to Hobart in October and will definitely book another day out. Highly recommend Rob and his private tours.

East Coast Wine Tour Tasmania. Wow!

Had the best time with Rob on this gorgeous wine tour. He was so patient and had lots to say about all the vineyards, knowing all the owners well. He gave us all the time we wanted in each Winery, not rushing us to the next one and then giving us options on which winerys would best suit our time plan. We saw some amazing views on the car ride up the coast and of course loved tasting all the wines in each stop. It was really informative and the tastings, if they weren't free, only cost 5 or 10 dollars, really found it worth the money and just want to thank Rob for giving us such a lovely day out!

Tassie wine tour at its finest

What an amazing day and way to finish our Tassie trip. I am wishful wine connoisseur and when Rob said to “trust him” with the wines I was nervous but he did not disappoint! Great conversation, great vineyard choices and the stop for lunch had amazing produce too. Such a gentleman, Rob went above and beyond on the day - not just a driver but helped with the wines and even took a scenic route past the Richmond bridge. We couldn’t have had a better day. Definitely will be back for another Tassie wine tour! Take care and see you soon Rob!

Fantastic Wine Tour

My husband and I had a wonderful day on our Coal River Wine Tour. Rob's knowledge of the vineyards made our trip most enjoyable and gave us the opportunity to sample some of best wines in the Coal River region. He also tailored the experience to us, giving us as much time as we wanted at each winery. The hospitality offered by the wineries that Rob took us to was second to none and we felt very welcome and found it hard to leave. Each of the wineries offered something different and that made the experience very special. Rob made the day a great experience.

This was a fantastic way to experience some of the local wineries. Rob was a fantastic and friendly guide and curated the tour to suit our group on the day. He was flexible with our schedule and gave some fantastic recommendations. I’ve been on larger group winery tours in the past and this was definitely a better way to do it. Couldn’t recommend it more!

A wonderful tailored wine tour

Our driver and guide was punctual and asked about our wine preferences on the way. He selected some great wineries: and also the best place for lunch. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy our day. And go at our own pace. Rob also organised for our wines to be shipped home.

Perfect day

We had an awesome day with Rob. From the minute he picked us up he was relaxed and friendly. During the first part if the drive we discussed our likes and dislikes in wineries and Rob suggested an itinerary the fit us perfectly. He helped organise our wines to be shipped home too!! Rob was never intrusive of our time but was always on hand when needed. Can't recommend this tour highly enough. It's a must do experience.

A great winery tour

What a great day. Having Rob drive us to winery's and not worry about how much you drink. Rob was on time and his car was very clean. There was never any rush to go from winery to winery. We could go as fast or as slow as you wanted. A great way to see the East Coast of Tasmania. Thanks Rob for a awesome day.

The perfect wine experience for a small group, Rob delivered a spectacular day for us. Even though some wineries were closed during the week day we chose, he went above and beyond to make sure we filled our day and visited only the best wineries - large and small. Highly recommend for a relaxed winery day out!

Flexible and easy going

Our guide Rob, is really knowledgeable about the area and is easy going. He planned the itinerary for the tour and it was perfect. There was a lot of flexibility in the tour and we could choose where we wanted to stay for lunch. Do note that the wine tastings at the cellars are not included in the price, but they are pretty cheap and refundable when you buy a bottle. We really enjoyed ourselves and we will come visit again in the summer with Rob.

East coast wine tour

Rob was such a great tour guide, taking us from Hobart up the east coast of beautiful Tasmania! Was a great relaxing day and we could go at our pace and all requests were accommodated. Couldn’t recommend enough!
