A memory to cherish - Magical Meghalaya

We visited Meghalaya and Assam for a 9 day vacation during early April 2024 and we had an experience of a lifetime! Trip North East tour operator Mr Bikramjit who greeted us on the opening day, ensured that our itenary was well structured and we stay as close to nature as possible. The double decker living root bridge/ rainbow falls trek was a great start, which spanned over an entire day was definitely a test of fitness. However the natural beauty of the place makes you forget all the efforts in the process. Enthralling water falls and misty mountains will keep greeting you in and around Chirrapunjee. Short treks to Kransuri and Phe Phe falls were a delight, given that you get to witness clear blue water which we haven't seen at many places around the country. While we were still lost in the cherishing experience of Meghalaya, we were taken to Zakai Eco camp (owned by Mr Bikramjit) at Kaziranga National Park. We enjoyed ourselves in the village centric atmosphere around the camp and the safaris were a delight. Spotting the tiger was an enthralling experience while it's the home for single horned Rhinos in the country. Mr Bikramjit also took us around to the banks of magnificent Brahmastra which is almost akin to a sea! Special mention to Mr Himanta Bora, our driver cum guide who was extremely cooperative and cordial all through. He ensured that we visited some unexplored locations and had the best local food. Overall Trip North East takes you back to your roots while giving you an unforgettable and memorable experience 😀

Beware of Kishore Driver

We took this tour between 9th June to 18th June covering Arunachal Pradesh and Kaziranga. The trip was organized by Mr bikramjit and we were assured that it's going to be once in the lifetime experience. And indeed it was. Specially due to arrogance and behavior shown by his driver Mr kishor Das and the pathetic stays organized by them. There are much better options and properties available at all the locations and we would advise fellow travelers to book on their own instead of using their properties. Also sightseeing they mentioned in the itinery was not covered giving different reasons. I don't know about their other drivers but if Mr kishore is allocated to you, God bless you !! He is never available on time, he will not pick up the call, he will take to his preferred restaurants (for obvious reasons) without considering need of the traveller. Even our drop at the airport on the last day was so delayed that we have to run to catch our flight.

Excellent Northeast trip

Had planned a trip to Arunachal Pradesh but while researching i thot adding a few days will cover Meghalaya too. While surfing the net I came across Trip Northeast and I contacted Mr Bikramjit Dey. While interacting with him I came to know that he knows best ,we just have to tell him about our requirements and he will do the rest. He gave a very good itenary f 12 nights and 13 days. Pick up from Guwahati airport and drop at Guwahati airport on the last day. All bookings were done Including Bumla pass and Zemithang valley in Arunachal in a private vehicle. We were provided with a Mahindra TUV 300 car and a driver Cum guide Mr Lohit Roy who is a fun loving, music loving guy and drove the car very well . Sometimes it was scary while he was overtaking or speeding but he has good control and good driving skills. On the negative side, yes, the place to stay in a few locations could hv been better for the price paid but Arunachal is a place where we can’t expect luxury. The beauty of Meghalaya and Arunachal can’t be explained in words and you have to go there to experience it. For that great experience you can definitely go ahead with Trip Northeast. A memorable and adventurous trip

Mr Bikramjith is a sweet and kind person who arranged us a good taxi for our 10-day trip to Northeast (Assam-Meghalaya-ArunachalPradesh). He gave us suggestions of many places and helped us plan our itinerary. He was also very reliable and made sure that we had a great time during the trip. He let us stay in his Zakai eco camp, which was a warm and memorable stay. The tent stay turned out to be cozy and peaceful admist the forest. The boys in zakai ecocamp were very friendly and attentive to our needs!! The food was delicious! Overall it's a Unique experience staying in Zakai and knowing Mr Bikramjith was a bliss. So I highly recommend Mr Bikramjith/ trip-northeast to have an amazing trip 🙂

Awesome

Our experience was amazing with Trip to Northeast. The trip was very well organized and we were provided good accommodation and food in every place. The Driver who drove us all 10 days was Dhruv Jyothi Das. His driving in the tough roads with hell of curves was really Incredible. His judgement to roads and curves added additional flavor to our journey. I would definitely recommend the organizer Bikramjit Dey for my friends and family as he made our trip a memorable one.

Pristine North East

I had interaction with Trip Northeast team for our NE plan. Excellent response from Mr Vikramjit. Response time was quick and transparent. He suggested some changes in travel plan considering hotel availability and we cover most of important views. Dhruv was our driver and companion on high altitude and roads with hair pin curves. With Dhruv you are in safe hands. I did reported some issue with hotels and were graciously accepted by Mr. Vikramjit. I will recommend them for all NE tours plan and wish them all the best.

Great Experience..!

Great service was provided through out the Trip, With an Excellent Driver. Met Kunal Roy the driver, drove the curvy, bumpy, tricky roads under different Weather conditions like Rain, Snow, Fogg. He was a great companion cum super driver & our guide too. All in all great places to enjoy. Our trip got easy with the help of these people.. One small gentle suggestion, check with Room photos thoroughly with Google comparing with itenary given, especially for Dawki and Tawang before u book the trip.

11 Nights in Meghalaya / Assam - Awesome experience

We a family of 9 adults 20 -75 years of age, spent 6 nights in Meghalaya and 5 nights in Assam. The whole trip was customized for us by Bikram, understanding our requirements. We covered Chirapunjee - Komgthong - Mawlynong - Snongpadeng - Shillong - Kaliabor - Kaziranga - Guwahati. Every aspect of the trip was planned meticulously well, and we were extremely well supported by Baiju (our guide) and Mukul (driver) throughout the trip. Bikram was regularly following up with them on the progress, when there were unexpected challenges he was accessible to get those resolved immediately. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour and looking forward to cover other parts of North East with Bikram, Baiju and Mukul. Thank you team.

Highly dissatisfied

We went for trip to Arunachal Pradesh for 9N/8D. We were highly dissatisfied towards end because of the service provided by them. A lot of places were written in the itinerary and half of the list given in the list of Mehalaya was not covered. When we went to discuss with the agent, he was giving highly unprofessional replies like " whatever written in the itinerary will not be covered...its your wish to choose what to see". We tried to negotiate the price since we missed a lot of important places. He was not ready to negotiate and was trying to justify his stand and finally started threatening us by saying he will stop the car in the middle and all. All the fun we had during this trip was ruined because of these and i really regret choosing this agency. I don't understand what is the real purpose of hiring an agency if he can't deliver what he promised in the itinerary!

Mesmerizing

It was heavenly in Arunachal Pradesh. I hired a bike from guawahatithen I went to dirang. I stayed at ICAR that us universities guest house. Then I went to sangti Valley. I didn't like that place.Then to twang and then I came back to guwahati. One more thing that I want to share there are two ways to go from guawahati to dirang so either you can go by one and come back from another one both ways have scenic views.Then I went to shellong.I have a request don't stay in gauwahati either stay in shellong that is very close to guwahati or tezpur. Guwahati is just a gateway to North east.In shellong again I stayed at ICAR University's guest house. Then I have been to Meghalaya to see the dawki river that is Asia's cleanest river. Again very beautiful way in the mid way there are many villages where you can do trekking and hiking if you want. I went in November so water level was really low but still people were fudging boating over there price is around 300 to 400 per person. From there you can go and see the Bangladesh boarder also.

Excellent Service and Flexible

We contacted Bikramjit from Trip NorthEast for our Arunachal Trip. Right from the very start, he was very warm and co-operative. We wanted to do more days in Tawang (5D), he adjusted the plan. He made several changes to the itinerary on our request. Immediately as we paid, he started the ILP process. Our driver Arindham is a gem of a person. Our comfort and convenience was always his priority, even when he wasnt driving us around. He would push the hotel staff to give us breakfast on time depending on the days itinerary. Arindham also makes an excellent guide. he has deep knowledge of the history of the region and even the culture. He is somehow well read and we cherish the conversations that we had with him - from Fidel Castro to the Assamese festival of Bihu. He took us to some great places to see and eat. If we did not like our lodging food, he took us to some other place to eat. He even was ready to communicate on behalf of us with our hotel. He also was proactive in suggesting itinerary changes and how to make best use of our time. Infact, it was he who suggested that based on our return flight time, we could squeeze in Kaziranga Jeep and Elephant safari instead of spending time in Guwahati. When we contacted Bikramjit with this request, Bikramjit quickly accommodated it and made the necessary arrangements. To enable this, Arindham had to wake up at 4 AM on two days, which he himself suggested and did. He is also very soft spoken towards his guests. The car - Innova Crysta was spacious, new and comfortable. The car is fitted with a speed limiter and cannot exceed 80 kmph. Arindham is a very safe driver and there was not a single moment of rash driving. Bikramjit assured us that all we have to come and do after booking Trip NorthEast, and thats what we did.

We had 13 days tour of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh through Bikramjit Dey of Trip North East in the end of December and we had a very good experience The arrangements were Excellent and we got more then what we were promised I will definitely recommend Travelling to Seven Sisters of India with Trip North East

Great thanks to Bikramjit. Though I am an explorer but without someone like bikram I would not have explored so much in this shirt time while going with my friends . Having done so many road trips across the lengths and breath of India my friends insisted of me not driving this time. And here came bikram. We had initially planned just arunachal and assam.. thanks to bikram we could add meghalaya. Beside bikram himself being so cordial the driver Aorindam who was with us all these days had been an awesome company. Kudos to Bikram and his team. You guys made our 9 days ( 9th to 17th Nov 2019) one of few memorable days of lifetime

Awesome trip

We had a 11N/12D trip to Assam /Arunachal/Meghalay with trip north East.. we had well planned itennary.. very nice Innova car and excellent service from Bikramjeet. I would recommend anyone traveling to North east India to get in touch with Bikramjeet.
