South of Mauritius : Crocodile park, lunch ,Rum and Tea Tasting

An ok day in the south

First of all, we did not receive any water, which was suppose to be included, and did not stop at Rochester falls. The tea factory was a very nice experience, could see the prossess from leaf to bagged tea. Got 45 mins at the crocodille park, which was not enough to be honest. The rumerie was nice. The resturant we had lunch had great portions of food, but it was not top facilities og service, even for mauritian standards. Had to get cuttlery from another table, and had to ask for toiletpaper. Seemed like we where there before they even opened. All in all an ok trip. Our taxidriver Jevin was great, he could answer all our questions.

Great fun - could be perfect with one change to itinerary

A reall6 good trip, our driver (Paul) was super friendly and punctual and made sure to give us all the time we wanted at each site. Highlight was feeding the turtles which was great fun. Only suggestion the food at the lunch stop was good but would have been so much better if could have eaten at the rum distillery restaurant or the tea plantation restaurant as both the grounds were lovely settings. Nothing wrong with the lunch stop - just the other 2 places with restaurants were so much nicer.

A wonderful time

We were really impressed by the thoughtfulness of the itinerary that they put together, especially how memorable just about every sightseeing spots, the park, the food and the drinks were. Everything went incredibly smoothly and within our time. The guide was wonderful and was full of fascinating commentary.
