Fantastic tour of the South west

We took the full day wild south tour in a private car. It was absolutely fantastic and we would highly recommend it - we seemed to fit so much into the day and saw so much of Mauritius but it didn’t feel rushed. We visited the volcano, Hindu temple, waterfall, 7 coloured earth and rum distillery (and more!). Vick our driver and tour guide was excellent- he was so knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we had a really fun and enjoyable day out! Mauritius is absolutely beautiful, the food provided on the trip was nice in a restaurant with outstanding views!

Trips around Mauritius with Raggoo

We had 3 trips with Mautourco, for all of these trips we had Raggoo. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable about everything we did. We wanted a true sense of Mauritius and he gave this experience to us which we really enjoyed and appreciated. He was very punctual and friendly. We could not recommend this company and our tour guide Raggoo enough!

North & South Island Tours

Two tours booked with Mautourco during our holiday to Mauritius. Michele, our rep at Victoria Beachcomber, was extremely professional, cheerful and helpful, and answered all our many questions. Our tour guide for both days (such an excellent first day we requested him the second day), Mohamed, was absolutely brilliant, and showed us as much as he could of the island during our North and South tours, using his local knowledge to give us a more 'authentic' view of the island. He took the time to explain the history and culture of the island, and not just the tourist side of things. Our drivers to and from the airport, Thierry and Kam, were also really friendly, and the quality of the vehicles used by this company was extremely high. Many thanks for making our holiday so memorable.

Amazing company for an amazing part of the world

Cannot recommend MaurtourCo highly enough, especially if it’s your first time to Mauritius and you’re not sure what’s around. We were celebrating our honeymoon and split our journey between the North and South of the island, and MTC were amazing throughout both legs of our stay. Our reps Sheela and Mikaela were incredibly helpful and accommodating; knowing it was our first time to the island, they gave us some local advice and excellent tips to ensure we got the most out of our time. They were constantly in communication with us so that we had no worries and knew exactly what was going on at all times, even when the weather meant plans had to change. We booked a number of excursions through them and all of them went beyond our expectations: West coast speed boat ride, snorkelling and dolphin spotting, with Cpt Julian and Denny - both guys were friendly, chatty and gave us pointers and choices throughout our time with them that just made the experience. East coast speed boat tour, which included Creole BBQ, snorkelling and drinks on the beach, led by Charla. Also an amazing time - everybody visiting the island should ensure they make time for this experience. Historical tour of the north coast, including Port Louis and the botanical garden, with our private guide Ragoo, who was so knowledgable and had so much to teach us about the island and its people and culture - we learned loads and had a fantastic experience. And all of these incredible excursions and experiences were very reasonably priced, reliably and locally run, and were led by fantastic guides. Please don’t change anything MaurTourCo, you’re doing great as you are!

We've joined the Raggoo Fan club

We stayed at the Victoria Beachcomber resort, where we booked a personal tour of south island with Raggoo. What a knowledgeable, patient and genuine person he is. He took us around the southwest of the island, all the time recounting the history of Mauritius and its people, interspersed with interesting stories and anecdotes. he was flexible on the tour and tailored the trip to suit us. we felt that we had a real feel for the island and saw so many interesting sites. Yes, we did buy some rum at the Rumerie! Thank you Raggoo. Big thanks and a recommendation also goes to Corail Helicopters. We had the 45 minute tour taking in the mountains and the underwater water fall. Just magical. thanks to the staff and the pilot, who all contributed to making it a most extraordinary experience. I would also like to thank Veni, who organised our trips and the transport between hotel and Airport. She took extra care to keep us up to date informed at all times by Whatsapp message.

Wonderful trip a beautiful island

What a truly magical place. Trou Aux Biches is a great resort with some amazing staff who made us feel very special Mautourco organised two trips for us that were both entertaining and informative Our thanks go to Audrey who organised the trips, Jose who captained the catamaran ( he deserves his own TV show ) and especially Javed who gave us a guided tour of the island. He is knowledgeable and truly charming

Escorted tour of south including rum distillery and lunch

We were collected by Raggoo our driver from the Sugar Beach Hotel for a day tour. He took us the south where we saw the waterfalls, giant tortoises and visited a cashmere shop. We had lunch on the peak and then back through the beautiful scenery to the rum distillery. Raggoo is a highly experienced, knowledgeable guide and looked after us so well. My husband is partially disabled with impaired mobility and he made sure he was safe and adjusted the tour accordingly. His knowledge was fantastic and he was able to answer all our questions. He personally took us round the rum distillery so we didnt have to join the large groups which would have meant standing around a great deal more. We learnt loads and would highly recommend. He even took us shopping before we went back to the hotel. Much appreciated.

We hired a car and did the southern tour eith our guide, Ragu, he was an absolute star and told us everything we wanted to know since the start of the island and all the historical details! it was such a pleasure sharing theday with us!

Great company to book trips and transfers with!

We booked our honeymoon through Kuoni who then organised all private transfers from hotels we stayed at to the airport and all transfers on booked trips through Mautourco. I cannot speak highly enough about all transfers we had during our trip in Mauritius with these lovely people. The drivers made us feel safe while driving and were always offering knowledge and facts about their lovely home and island. We learned so much about Mauritius through all the journeys we had been on and their pride for their country really shone through. We loved learning lots of tit bits of information and asking questions on just about anything to do with Mauritius. As part of a transfer from one hotel to another (Chamarel to Belle Mare), we booked a day with a driver where we were taken to Chamarel waterfall, 7 coloured earth, Black River Gorges, Hindu temple, run distillery and cashmere shop before being dropped off at our next hotel. We got a lot in one day! The driver was very knowledgeable about everything we visited and I particularly liked the fact that we were given some time to explore the sites for ourselves after he told us a bit about them. He also told us what to do and what not to do at each site - handy for tourists in an unknown territory especially at the Hindu temple. We were never forced to buy anything, it was totally our choice to visit local markets and we didn't feel at all pressured to do anything we didn't want to. The trip was completely tailored to our needs. I would highly recommend booking transfers and trips through this company, you'll learn a lot about the country with the best and safest drivers.

Great private tour

Wonderful trip, driver was very helpful and explained a lot about local history and nature. Delicious lunch in restaurant with gorgeous views. We managed to see a lot in one day.

Poor, tried to say we damaged the car rim when it was damaged when we rented the car....thankfully we took pic of it.

Felt like these guys (CRC) were trying to rip us off when we returned our hire car after 8 days. They said the front passenger rim was damaged by us (very small scuff on edge of rim), however the guy who handed the car over to us pointed this out and thankfully my wife took a pic of all the scuffs/scratches/dents in the car before we drove it. When we returned the car a different guy tried to claim that the damage to the rim was not recorded and we would be liable (an excess for damage of £1600!!!) When my wife showed him the pic and the date/time it was taken he was somewhat annoyed as if he was caught out. The service after this was very poor....the guy taken us back to the airport did not load our luggage into the van nor did he take it out for us upon arrival at the airport. Compare this to when they collected us to get the car hire they were so polite and loaded the luggage in and out and we're really helpful. Don't think I would rent a car from these guys again.

Great driver

Nicholas our driver collected us from the airport to take us to Mauricia Beachcomber Resort and Spa. The car was in great condition and we had a pleasant drive to the North of the island. However, Nicholas our driver, was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge on absolutely every aspect of the island from local cuisine to the flora and fauna made the hour drive go by in an instant. Would ask for him by name next time we visit :)

Fab private tour around the south west of Mauritius

Had a great trip today with Ben our private taxi tour round the south west of the island, saw lots of beautiful scenery inducing the black river gorge national park and chambered seven coloured earth Geopark. Well worth having a private taxi as you don’t have to wait in queues with a big group can take as long or short a time as you like at the different attractions. We finished off with the rum distillery, fab end to the trip. We really enjoyed the day, lovely to see some of Mauritius. Thank you

Fabulous trip and guide around s.w Mauritius

Amazing trip with a lovely, kind ,humorous driver Manage 18 th Nov. This was an informative , amazing trip all around the south west ( gris gris, Chameral , Black River Gorge, various view points, Rum tasting,Le Morne and more). Mautourco - definitely use this company if you are visiting the island and want to see the sights

The whole experience was brilliant. On time collection and departure, with an excellent knowledgeable driver. He ensured we managed to cram in every sight we wanted to see and made the day fun and full of adventure.

Wild South

We did the Wild South tour with the guide Fayaz. It was a great excursion and our guide was really great. He has lots of knowledge about the history of his country. The places that we visited were really incredible. I can really recommend this tour.

We did the tour of the South West with Vikash (I think that was his name) he was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us a lot of information which was very interesting. I would recommend this tour.

Privat Driver and Guide for the wild South of Mauritius - Javed-Kahn

We are a family of five (three adult children) and dint want to just see the Resort we were staying at.So we decided to take a private driver and at the same time he was our privat tour Guide, history teacher and entertainer. Javed-Kahn made this trip 6 unforgettable for us! Not only dis he show us the islamd but he brought us closer to the very divers culture of this beautiful island. He promised us at the start we would return tired but with a smile on our face to the resort and he was totally right. Thank you Javed-Kahn for this amazing tour and for having so much patience in answering all our questions!!!!

Picturesque Island

An extensive tour through most of the island. One of our more enjoyable shore excursions. The volcano was acting up a little bit to make the trip a little more interesting.

Rum distillery and National Park a perfect pairing

Yesterday we were privileged to be the guests on your ‘Pauce Mauricienne Exclusive’ tour that was recommended to us and booked by our Virgin holidays representative Imtiaz Dookhun. From beginning to end the day was fabulous! Our driver and guide, Vikash, was amazing. He made us feel like VIPs from the outset. He was personable, kind, knowledgable and incredibly helpful and accommodating. At all times we felt that the pace of the day was ours. Thanks to Vikash, this was the best holiday excursion we have ever undertaken in 29-years of marriage. The Chamarel Rum Distillery is amazing. The included lunch was the best we have eaten in Mauritius and the rum tasting excellent. We visited the sacred lake and temple. Vikash’s knowledge was amazing and so interesting. We visited and viewed so many natural sites including the national Park, the 7-coloured earth, Black River Gorge and waterfall. We saw monkey and giant tortoises and even watched the temple cats catching fish (that part was unplanned). This was an amazing day trip. Thank you.

Very good service

We used Mautourco several times during our holiday. They provided both transfers to/from airport. These went smoothly and the drivers were on time. We hired a driver for 8 hours for a private excursion where we were able to tailor the day to our needs. We were very impressed with the SUV which was high spec, comfortable and it even had its own WiFi which was very helpful. We travelled to Il aux Aigrettes, then to the North to the botanical gardens, Grand Bae and Cap Malheureux. We also took the day trip on the tour of the South. Our guide Bandhoo was lovely, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We really enjoyed the day where we visited Grand Bassin, Chamarel Waterfall & seven coloured earth, rum distillery and dormant volcano. Thank you Bandhoo you were ace. All in all, we would be happy to recommend Mautourco.

Good company

During our stay in Mauritius we went on two excursions, both times with this excellent company. The tours are splendid and offer you to learn a lot about the island. In our case we did both tours privately with an Italian speaking private driver. Our driver was Vikram and we couldn't be luckier, he was a perfect and fun guide.

No contrateis ese intermediario

Cuidado con Doyouspain. Totalmente engañada. Es un intermediario que te ofrece un alquiler barato (pagué 37,50€)y un seguro aparte (pagué 22€) por alquilar un coche un dia. Luego resulta que la empresa a quien verdaderamente le habia alquilado el coche Record go, no reconoce ese seguro y te clava su seguro, fianza y gastos que yo todavía no sé a que se deben. El coche que alquilé al final era de Record go y me cobraron 388,53 € por un lado mas 59,90 por otro cargo. Estoy con una reclamación en ristre

un excellent guide ( JAVED )

Nous avons réservé depuis notre hôtel du beachcomber une voiture avec chauffeur. Nous avons passés une journée inoubliable avec Javed notre chauffeur qui nous a bluffés par la richesse de ses connaissance. très agréable nous vous le conseillons car ça se voit que c'est un grand passionné qui aime son métier. un petit coucou à lui de la part de nicolas et sandra

Ein unvergesslicher Tag

Wir ( 4 Personen) hatten ein Auto mit Fahrer für einen Tag gebucht. Wir wurden pünktlich um 9:00 Uhr vom deutschsprachigen Fahrer Satyam mit einer Großraumlimousine abgeholt. Der uns mit seiner freundlichen Art und umfangreichen Wissen durch einen unvergesslichen, erlebnisreichen und unterhaltsamen Tag begleitete. Vielen Dank - bis Bald.

Super Tour

Wir hatten während unserer Flitterwochen eine Tour durch den Süden von Mauritius gebucht und hatten einen wunderschönen Trip mit Satyam als Guide und Fahrer. Er konnte nahezu perfekt deutsch sprechen, war total freundlich, witzig und hat uns mit der Geschichte und Schönheit der Insel vertraut gemacht. Wenn ihr auch eine unvergessliche Tour auf Mauritius plant, dann fragt nach Satyam!!!

Grandioser Ausflug in den Nord-Westen

Bewertung Wir hatten gestern unseren dritten Ausflug mit Mautourco. Dieses mal mit einem privaten Fahrer und Guide. Nach „der wilden Süden“ Bustour und „Katamaran Westtour“ haben wir den Norden erkundet. Unser Guide mit Namen Satyam, sprach perfekt deutsch und hat die von uns ausgearbeiteten Wunschpunkte in eine eigene Route umgesetzt und verfeinert. Er hat uns sehr viel erklärt, erzählt und kannte sich sehr gut mit der Geschichte von Mauritius aus. Besonders bei Pflanzen hat uns sein großes Wissen sehr beeindruckt! Angefangen haben wir mit dem Shivalla Tempel in Triole, weiter über verschiedene Strände im Norden, zum Cap Malheureux, zu einem Tamilen Tempel, weiter nach Chateau De Labourdainnaise, danach in den botanischen Garten Pamplemousses. Anschließend zur Citadel und zur Waterfront in Port Louis wo wir es im Anschluss auch noch zur „blauen Mauritius“ und zum Zentralmarkt geschafft haben. Insgesamt ein grandioser und mehr als gelungener Tag! Vielen Dank nochmals an Satyam!!!

Qualité de l'accueil , respect des horaires, gentillesse du chauffeur, réponse aux questions . Toutes les excursions faite avec chauffeur ont étaient impeccables.

Superschöne Tour mit Kevin

Wir hatten uns für eine private Tour entschieden, was auch für uns das Beste war. Wir haben so traumhafte Orte gesehen. Auch Aussichtspunkte sowie Stellen, wo man nicht allein hingekommen wäre. Das Mittagessen war köstlich....Kevin war ein so netter, freundlicher und toller Fahrer. Er erzählte uns viel und liebt seine Insel. Das merkt man bei dieser Tour. Vielen Dank Kevin für alles.

très belle journée avec un chauffeur au top

Excellent chauffeur pour nous et nos 2 enfants. Santos s'est donné à fond pour que notre journée soit rentable et réussie. Il nous a conduit aux bons endroits, il nous a même suivi jusqu'à notre plateforme de parachute ascensionnel, il a filmé nos aventures et nous a fait découvrir énormément de choses sur l'île Maurice.
