Wonderful experience!!

I had my parents in from the United States and this was their first time whale watching 🐳. The caption Mick knew where we could find a whale and within 15 minutes we saw our first one. We spent a good half hour watching that whale then proceeded to go out further and found a pod of 4 sub adults. The weather and trip were perfect. Kaylee our marine biologist was very informative and answered our questions without hesitation. We would highly recommend anyone to sail with the Sea World Whale watching tour. Awesome job crew.😊😊😊

Beautiful!

We got to have an amazing time with them. They are very knowledgeable and the calf was doing a nice show for us. The only thing is that to get there, the boat goes to very choppy water and lots of people got sea sick!

Surreal experience

One of the best experiences!! Seen a mum and baby calf, there was humpback whales breaching out the water and putting on a show for everyone. Surreal! The crew were all lovely too

A beautiful day to be alive

A lot of tail slapping and quite a few whales. Though none were interested in hanging around, they all had somewhere to be. But still great to see such huge animals in the wild. One has to remember they maybe big and fast, but the ocean in big and deep. So we were lucky to see any.

Whales were amazing. Tour needs updating

It is a comfortable your to see the whales. I've been on many and run these kind of tours around the world and to be honest the extra fees charged for photos and food should all be included. When people go on these kinds of tours what I've found and experienced is EVERYTHING should be included in the ticket price. Otherwise you feel like there's something being missed out on. Up your prices a bit and include free brekky or morning tea and have photos as complimentary. Then again what do I know

Excellent Operation

Booked the Captains Club, which was totally worth it. Laura was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately we did not see Whales due to the high seas and wind. The crew did all they could. Re invite given for another day.

Great trip despite rough seas!

It was a very rough sea but the crew were so at ease it made me confident that we would survive! And it was all worth it - it was beyond thrilling to see the whales and dolphins. We had such an incredible time. I had the sea sick pills early as recommended and they did the trick as did my daughter. We sat on the top deck too which i recommend as the fresh air made a big difference. Great info by the marine biologist too. Thank you!

It was a great moments to finally watch the whales live not on YouTube, also exciting Seeing 5 whales surfacing for air all at the same time, but unfortunately I wasn’t quick enough to take the picture.

Whale watching experience

Our group had a wonderful afternoon out on the boat, we saw a few different pods of whales that decided to come right up next to the boat, which was a life changing experience. They are magnificent and appreciate that there is a lot of information given about them as well

The operators are very reliable and extremely helpful. The marine experts with them are also very good. It was super fun and surreal to watch whales.

This experience was so much more than I expected.

We saw heaps of whales and were excited to see a mummy whale with her baby. An absolutely amazing experience, I didn't want to leave. I get sea sick in the bath tub, and I was well prepared, and even though we were on the top deck (not recommended for those who suffer) and didn't get sick at all, I recommend wearing wrist bands and taking ginger and buy the tablets they offer you on the boat, I was really ok. The weather was brilliant, the whales were breaching (jumping) and I can't say enough about how good it was. Highly recommended. Thank you Sea World Cruises for a most memorable experience.

Just watching them shoot out of the water and back flipping into the water. Seeing dolphins too for my first time and such a huge pod 😍

Great Whale Watching Experience

We had a great experience on the cruise and managed to see multiple groups of whales and a large group of dolphins. The crew made extra time to see a pair of whales breaching out of the water on the way back which was brilliant. Thanks for the great experience.

Amazing Humpback Whale Encounter

The trip was amazing as we spend a great amount of time being close to the whales after spotting them. The crew were friendly & helpful.

It's work it!

We were unsure about doing the whale watching. We were worried our kids might be bored. After several recommendations we decided to book. I'm not sure if we just got lucky, but we saw 6 whales, both up close and in the distance. The kids weren't bored at all and we all enjoyed the cruise lots. The captain was great and provided us with lots of information about the whales. If you have the time, take the cruise. It's worth it

Whales, whales and even a pod of dolphins!!!

Amazing. We seen so many whales. The whales actually came alongside the ship. Crew were magnificent. As we were turning around to head back the captain noticed a pod of dolphins and proceeded to take us for a close look. We would have no hesitation in recommending this trip.

If you get a chance, definitely do this!

This was a wonderful day out. We were on the water for about 2 1/2 hours, and a good chunk of that time was spent watching whales. It was a calm day, but since we were on the open water, we decided to take advantage of the offer of seasickness tablets on the boat, just in case. They worked perfectly. Initially, we just saw a couple of whales quite far off in the distance. We could see them blowing out of their blowholes and occasionally caught a tail coming out of the water. That was lovely, and it was what I assumed the entire cruise would be like. But before we knew it, there were whales swimming up beside the boat, crossing underneath and coming back to the surface, going under again, giving us close up views and even a really awesome jump out of the water at one point. There was even a 'bonus' pod of dolphins who came up close to us and swam along with us for a while. These animals are all amazing and they really play with the boats. I would absolutely recommend this cruise to anyone. It's good value for money and it's an experience of a lifetime.

A great morning looking for whales

Captain Richard and his team were very accommodating. We went to a few different spots and saw multiple whales. Richard was very respectful to the whales and knowledgeable. He was such a great experience to see whales. We bought tickets through RACQ which was $20 cheaper.

Short and sweet. Expensive for such a short trip Crazy about safety security and seasickness. More fun less rules .

A Must Do During Migration

Very knowledgeable crew, Jarrod our captain was terrific and humorous! Obviously guest satisfaction was a priority, but nothing trumped the care and welfare of the beautiful animals we were observing in their natural habitat. We saw only the one Southern Humpback Whale but he was very comfortable around us and spent a good amount of time checking us out.

Best whale watching experience. We were also lucky able to see baby whale and mother whale doing flip. Worth the value as the kids enjoy not only the boat ride but also watching whale.

Up close whale encounter

There were numerous small pods of whales off in the distance and then we found a Couple of pods that were very interested in the boat and surrounded up flipping their tails, swimming along side and one breaching.

This is a must do if you are on the Gold Coast. Captain Kim and the staff were amazing ! The staff were so knowledgeable. We saw a lot of whales. The were breaching flapping and putting their face out of the water. The boat was gorgeous. Would definitely this again in a flash !

First experience whale watching totally worth it!!

I went to do whale watching with SeaWorld cruises at the Gold Coast In June 2022 with my family and it was totally worth it as the staff were very friendly and helpful plus the captain was a very smooth driver and he went to a very good spot so that we were able to see the whales in a very clear view in different areas and the research team was very good at giving interesting facts and we were able to see plenty of whales while moving to different seating areas plus the photographers took very good photos. I loved my experience with SeaWorld cruises on the migaloo boat so do my family and we will be coming back in 2023!!
