Sirromet Winery Tour and Taste and 2 Course Lunch

Very enjoyable winery experience!

Very enjoyable experience. I booked a 3-hour winery tour, tasting and 2-course lunch via Viator, and everything was excellent. Rina was an excellent and lovely host. I had their Wagyu beef burger for lunch which was excellent. The winery tour was interesting and informative, and the wine tasting was better than I had expected, especially for Queensland wines. I really enjoyed their Signature Collection sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay, and I also liked their Private Collection Clyde NV Tawny dessert wine. The other wines were just average, in my view. The winery is a peaceful, serene place with beautiful views and very friendly and helpful staff. There is plenty of interesting wildlife around, too. I recommend this tour to others; although it would be better if they offered a shuttle service from the city. But, since they don't, your best bet is to take bus 555 from the city to the Loganholme Bus Station, then catch an Uber or Didi from there to the Winery Cellar Door. It will save you about AUD $25 each way as opposed to taking a taxi the entire way from the city. Enjoy!

Great view, good service and food

Great location, good view, easy parking, good service & facilities and good food Food is fabulous mostly from local suppliers, great service. Ample parking and a relaxing experience throughout.

Bojan gave us a really charming tour of the beautiful winery and shared the production process with us in a very interesting way. The tasting was also a real pleasure and very extensive with 6 different wines. This was followed by an incredibly delicious and regional lunch. An all-round perfect experience with a great price performance, we would recommend and repeat the tour at any time!

Lovely day out

It was a lovely day out. The food service was OK but I think they might have been training new staff. The food was nice but coffee not so good.

Our tour guide was great, she was very natural and was able to answer most of our questions. The winery was such a great place to see and learn about. Enjoyed the wine tasting and the lunch was so tasty and good options. The view was the best

Wonderful way to spend a day

We had not visited this winery for years ,we had a fabulous wine tour with Bojan , who was most informative & a wine marker himself, we really enjoyed his tour & his personality & experience made our tour more enjoyable. Sirromet have some wonderful & professional staff a great assest to the business. Bojan, Rex & the gentlemen running the cellar door special mention. Thank you for an enjoyable day & we will be back

County relaxing and wine

We participated in a “making of the wine” tour and tasting. The tour and tasting were conducted by two lovely French ladies. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine tasting selections were vast and interesting. It was a nice experience. After the tour we had an include two course lunch. This was disappointing. 😒 We weren’t given a choice for the first course and the main course came with only 3 choices, salad, pasta or fish. Our meals were pitiful compared to the meals other people were ordering. We were also seated in the sun in front of electrical cables and plastic curtains and people (photos attached). Unfortunately this part of the experience was a let down. Didn’t feel like it warranted the $200 price tag. But overall, a beautiful piece of countryside and a family business with a vision that Terry and his wife successfully fulfilled.

A wonderful experience

We went to Sirromet Winery for our 53rd wedding anniversary, we stayed the night in the chalets. When we arrived at our room there was a voucher for a wine tasting in the cellar door room , which was a lovely surprise and most appreciated. We had dinner in the restaurant that night and breakfast was delivered to our chalet in the morning. The next day we then did a winery tour, tasting, and a 2 course lunch. We could not fault any part of this experience, and truly loved it. We will definitely be going back and won’t wait for an anniversary to do so, it is something we will do “ just because we can”

We visited your Tuscan terrace restaurant on December the 20th lunch for a Christmas party...food was good although the staff had no idea of anything ran out of Pino grigio Prosseco and even Sav Blanc not very good for Christmas festive season This is a winery Also while having lunch all you could smell was the septic from the rest rooms not what I would have expected Garry

Spot on Sirromet

Had a fabulous time. Our winery guide, Dan , was very knowledgeable and the whole experience was great. Immensely enjoyed our private barrel room tasting and the food at lunch was delicious. We were given this experience as a gift and would thoroughly recommend.

A great experience

This was Fathers’ Day present and we had a great tour led by Cordelia (I think) followed by 2 course lunch. The wine tasting was very informative and expansive enough to taste/consider/discuss six wines. For both of us, lunch was the salmon which was superb. We had never been here before and liked the different options available, lunch on the Terrace, inside or under the trees, under umbrellas or on the grass, or even something over at the Cellar Door, listening to live music. It prompted us to check their website and we are heading to Crowded House on the Green next weekend. It was a great afternoon.

Tuscan treat

Lovely relaxed comprehensive informative winery tour. Very nice 2 course lunch with a glass of wine also included.Our setting o erloking the green area surrounded by lavender in bloom was such a wonderful setting reminded us of our visit to Italy. We enjoyed our entrees, sharing fresh toasted sour dough, 4 slices, with generous serve rosemary butter and crumbed garlic/ chilli olives with aoli...simply delicious! Main course tomato linguine and hubby had tuscan lamb and fetta pizza. A real treat and we shall return.

Such a wonderful surprise

A chance visit to the Sirromet winery today turned into such a pleasant experience for our family. We had an early lunch at the Tuscan Terrace and the experience was out of this world. We were so well taken care of by the attentive staff, the beer and wine were superlative, the food was sublime and the view is spectacular. A bit of a drive but well worth it. Recommend that you book a table under the tree on a hot day. The view is still as good but it is nice and cool

Excellent location with a knowledgeable guide

My wife an I went on the winery tour which was informative. This was followed by wine tasting - I have to admit that we didn't buy any of the wines but the tasting was entertaining and we gained some new information on wine varieties. We than went to the Tuscan restaurant for a cheese platter and glass of wine. The platter was very generous and was more than enough for lunch. Others on the tour pre-ordered lunches, they had way too much food. The wine I had was the Shiraz Viognier which I did enjoy. We enjoyed our day and would recommend the tour.

Want to go Again

Sirromet wines have always been a favorite for my wife and I, We stayed the weekend for a wedding and then jumped on a tour with Steve Steve was great with all of his information, He also handled a very rude, drunk and disrespectful group of people very well. I can say I would not have held my never as he did We will do it again and really enjoy the education

Beautiful Queensland winery with excellent tour and delicious lunch

My partner and I were gifted this experience and had an amazing time on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Steve was our tour guide - clearly a passionate and ardent wine lover. His knowledge and dedication shone through his 1.5 tour and tasting session. To think that Sirromet Winery has been so close to home all this year leaves me baffled that I haven't visited sooner! The Tuscan Lunch out on the terrace was also superb. This experience is a wonderful gift, not strenuous at all and a fabulous way to spend a few hours in a stunning location with great food and excellent wine. Thank you Sirromet Wines - no doubt we'll be visiting again soon!

WINE DISTILLERY

Perfect place to visit if you are keen on wines.If you are in brisbane you can get to enjoy wine tasting at A$5 a glass for six different types of wines. You can enjoy lunch and watch the wallabies come out of their hideouts at times. The place is very refreshing and if you have a sweet tooth, enjoy delicious desserts at tehe same place. The best time to visit is around july to august as the weather is quite pleasant around these months. You have to visit the place and see for yourself. Even if you do not drink wine, the lunch and the scenery would be a good welcome. Staff are friendly and very pleasant

Relax, good guide, nice place

They provide pick up shuttle service from your hotel, which is really convenient. I had a really good day today, the driver and tour guide are both friendly. The only downside was I turned to be so tipsy after wine testing🤣

Amazing

Our tour guide "Magie" was probably the best guide at SIRROMET her knowledge was second to none, questions were answered immediately and explained precisely. At the tasting Magie's knowledge of the wines showed how much she enjoyed her position at SIRROMET.

Wine tour and lunch

Our tour guide was very informative. The tour was easy walking. Tasted some very good wines at the cellar. Excellent tour and one of the best lunches we have ever had! Tuscan Terrace service and food were excellent. All in all we had a lovely few hours and will definitely be going back for lunch.
