I booked this trip and the tour operator contacted me privately that I should cancel my booking and book directly on their page. If I do so, I get 20% discount. I don't like such a scamming. I lost time with this operation. Tripadvisor is not about fake actions like this. I have the proof of their email, if somebody doesn't believe me.

Barry did a great job at...

Barry did a great job at showing us so much! He is very knowledgeable and showed us so much! It was a nice trip and so different from being on the beaches of Gold Coast. Would recommend this trip if you are looking to see more than the beaches of Australia!! Although those are great too!

Nature

Going on some nice short walks and seeing waterfalls and nice trees. The driver Barry was very friendly and happy to answer questions, People on the tour were friendly. I had nice scones at the cafe .

Great tour - recommend

This was a fantastic tour! I loved it. The scenery, wildlife and commentary were all wonderful. Bonus, I saw kangaroo in the wild and met some wonderful people too. Lunch stop was good and the food tasty!

An amazing day.

Wonderful day. Our guide Barry was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and helped the group really get to know one another. Lunch (though not included in the price of the tour) was delicious. The scenery in the national park is gorgeous and we even saw a fair amount of wildlife.

A good way to see some of the Hinter land

A good trip. Some pretty scenery (even if most of the waterfalls were virtually dry to a lack of rain). Some more walking would have been good. Quite a small bus, so not too many people, which was good. The bus arrived late, but the driver was very keen to finish the day on time, which seemed somewhat unreasonable. Lunch was at a quaint country cottage style cafe (cost not included. Overall a good day out.

Indescribable, whole...

Indescribable, whole different world. Was so peaceful and cool from the heaty weather. We had enough time to do small walks in the park, didn’t feel too rushed

Great trip

Sanya was a lovely tour guide. She seemed very knowledgeable and was very friendly and funny. She did not only showed us Mt Tambourine but also gave us a small tour in the city.

Overview of springbrook more suitable for people who seek an overview of the area. No hiking,short walks. Barry was a great driver and guide

This is not a good trip....

This is not a good trip. They picked us up and dropped us off at these places, and we did not get enough time to go around. They did not give us any information about these places. The tour guide is no more than a bus driver.

Not worth of money at all

1 Waterfall experience was good. Other than that full waste of money for me. Good for the ones who loves Forestwalk. This is more of rainforest walk.

This is the worst...

This is the worst experience we had at Gold Coast so far. I would definitely not recommend unless you want to spend $130 to be a one-day college student of Botany with a harsh and bossy professor. Most of the time is spent on bus. For a 9-hour trip while we only had two 15-min tours in the morning and a 45-min tour in the afternoon (there was a 2-hour lunch session which was another chance to walk) The guide Sonya was a botanist professor before. Honestly I think as a tour guide she just need to be nicer and treat us more like customers rather than her students. She basically spent all the time introducing the plants. Her attitude to me and my parents for some reason was especially harsh. An example happened half way during the 2-hour lunch session goes like this: Me : Is it possible that we wrap up the lunch earlier so that we can finish the trip earlier? (She mentioned a few times in the morning that we were running behind the time) The guide: No we are leaving at 2. Another lady from the group: Do you guys have any plan after this? Me: We just feel not much to do now. The guide: Everyone has gone for a walk except for you guys. (We only had 7 ppl in this group so technically over half of ppl were still there) Me: But we are carrying a lot of stuff (we were told it’s a lunch session so we brought all the food and water with us) The guide: Just put your plastic bags next to the bus. No one is gonna steal your plastic bags. I felt she could be just a bit nicer and she could offer to let us put our stuff on the bus etc. (we were literally 50m away from where the bus parked) I also noticed she has been quite nice to other people in the group. We were supposed to leave the lunch spot at 2 but a girl was like 30 mins late. And the guide was like no worries dear all good hope you have had a good walk. Even my parents who don’t understand English felt she was not nice in particular to us.

Wonderful waterfalls and short walks!

Excellent day out. Great way to experience the waterfalls and enjoy the walks to get to each. Amazing views, fun friendly staff eager to assist and advise along the way.

Great experience

Everything was first rate. The park was beautiful and our guide Sonya was extremely knowledgeable and funny. I would highly recommend!

Review: Full-day Springbrook National Park Tour from the Gold Coast

I really enjoyed the tour, mostly because of our group's wonderful guides, Sonia and Elisa (I apologize for spelling or naming mistakes). They did a great job of keeping the group distracted and entertained during long car rides and were flexible, which allowed us to make stops we might not have normally made. I think I would have preferred a bit more adventure on the trip or a slightly higher intensity of activity. I don't see that as an intrinsic issue with the tour, more an issue with the specific tour I chose to go on. The one improvement I'd recommend is that the tour company publish a more detailed itinerary. This is minor and didn't interfere with my overall experience.

This tour was great!

Sonia and Elise were wonderful leaders of the tour. It lasted all day but in the times we weren't walking through gorgeous rainforests, we were educated on different rainforest environments, plants, animals, and conservation efforts. They know their stuff. Hotel pickup and drop-off was greatly appreciated. Would do again.

Nice intro to GC’s surroundings

Our driver and guide Sonya was great, she provided very detailed and entertaining commentary during the day and made sure everyone enjoyed their time on the tour. We were very lucky with the weather and views from all lookouts were fabulous. It’s a very easy day, all walks are done on paved paths, so sneakers are perfect. Highly recommend doing the tour.

Nice break from the beach

This was a nice day of sightseeing but not quite the thrill we were hoping for. That said, there were some really beautiful vistas, a couple sightings of wildlife, a few pretty but not “wow” waterfalls - the best was a waterfall over the natural archway. Fran our tour guide was great, very fun. We had a very good lunch (toasties, scones) at a small cafe (extra cost). It was a nice break from the beach.

Just An Awesome All Day Trip.

I am from the USA and am spending 3 months here on the Gold Coast. I did not rent a car, and even if I had, I would not know where to go, let alone how to drive here, lol. Viator always delivers when you know nothing about where you are. And, they offer really great excursions for you to go on. This tour did not disappoint. And, for me if was great, because I could be with other people. We had 8 on our tour. And, we all got to know one another pretty well by the end of the 8 hours. Barry, our driver and guide was just awesome and so knowledgeable and entertaining. He knew his stuff and was so pleasant.

Beautiful scenery

The Tour Guide, Barry, knew lots of information regarding the area. Both Tour Guides were friendly and welcoming. The area was beautiful and look outs were unbelievable. I would certainly recommend the tour

More time at stops please

I like taking these tours because I get taken to all the highlighted must see areas without having to drive. However I would have liked more time in the different areas to walk around or take a short walk. After sitting in the bus for an hour or more... Is nice to walk around a while.

Magical rainforest

I have enjoyed this experience a lot despite the bad weather- it was actually quite an experience to see the rainforest during rain. The guide was very informative and good. We missed some of the views due to us being in a cloud most of the time but it was worth it. Truly magical

Fantastic tour with so much to see!

The driver Barry is very knowledgeable and good fun. He not only knew everything about the sights we stopped of at but also the general Springbrook area. I had a great time! As someone travelling alone I felt very comfortable with the group and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see "the green behind the gold" as it's definitely worthwhile and absolutely beautiful!

Excellent day in the mountains

Great adventure and wonderful guide Bruce made this a fun and interesting tour. Lunch was excellent as well. Overall great experience and the water falls are stunning.

Super tour! I saw the beautiful rainforest and waterfalls! The guide was very nice and smart, tells a lot of things… it was amazing

Well it was great day out they will come to get you from your hotel make sure you are ready to get on the bus the time they say don’t be late will tell you what time they come to pick you up once they pick everyone up then the tour will start they will take you to places that is out of this world it well organised by the tour guide there’s no lunch included you have to buy your own lunch after the tour they will drive you back where you are staying

Amazing trip

Beautiful Hinterland Day Trip

Our driver was very experienced and careful. Always checked to see everyone was ok and on the bus. He was a wealth of information about the areas we visited and was attentive to my husband who has a bad knee so chatted and walked with him.

Barry the guide was the most amazing tour guide , gave every little information and gave time to take pictures and he was always with the excitement to tell us something more.! Great way to get a taste of Springbrook if you don't have time or a car to do it yourself

There was a lot to pack in during one day and this was a perfect way to do it without a car of your own. There was lots of helpful information along the way and some interesting facts given. The views and scenery were pretty spectacular and some of the waterfalls breathtaking. The transport was comfortable and we appreciated the pick up from our hotel and everything was done in a timely manner. Would have liked some time to explore and wander for a bit on our own but appreciate that they need to run a tight ship in order to keep everyone together as much as possible. Overall our family enjoyed it!

Breathtaking

Even though the day was fairly overcast and at one lookout all we could see was fog it was still worth going on this tour. We visited so many beautiful places. It is defiantly worth the visit. Tamborine mountain

Was a bit disappointed we were unable to do the Springbrook tour. Due to not enough people booking in for it. However the Tamborine mountain tour was quite nice. Our guide; Barry was very informative and knowledgeable, friendly and very interested in our lives as well. I learnt quite a lot and saw some great views.
