Good Goa Day Trip

This was a lovely day trip to the waterfalls and spice plantation. The waterfalls were so refreshing to swim in and the Buffett at the spice plantation was good. No food poisoning lol. The bus driver was using his phone a lot when he was driving, but that is just India in general.

Great Deal

The waterfall is beautiful but difficult to get to so I would not recommend for those with mobility issues. The Spice Farm serves lunch

Don’t touch the buffet, terrible food poisoning

The tour was fine apart from the buffet at the spice plantation which gave me the worst food poisoning I have ever had., Emergency doctor who my hotel had to call confirmed this. Also no Old Goa tour as the churches were closed.

Poorly organized. Chaotic

Really one of the poorly organized trips ever. Nothing was as in the description. Pickup: There is no pickup from hotel. They just have fixed pickup points. The organizers gave us a point was 20-25 mins away on an National Highway. When I pointed to the driver to give us a different location since it's not safe to walk across NH. His reply was 'Its not an intentional highway and we always do our pickups here'. Pedestrian rules; who? Pushing tourists with little knowledge of the local language and infrastructure to impede the traffic on highway and break common sense rules should never happen. We were picked up on the side of national highway. The bus was littered with bottle caps , wrappers. Tour language: The description said English available, but on reaching the destination the driver gave instructions exclusively only in Hindi. The instructions were also not complete. He never told us about the checkpoints and the instructions on the card to swipe at the checkpoint. When we asked for him to repeat in English, he scoffed and laughed it off. I had to translate his fast paced Hindi with my limited knowledge of the language to my partner. It's ok not to know a certain language but why advertise what you cannot deliver. At dudhsagar: the driver asked us to give him cash to pay to the drivers. Which we already had paid for. When we pointed that he had to organize it himself; he said it was fault of organizers and he is just trying to help. We waited for over 30 mins just waiting for one of the people on the tour to arrange money on behalf of the organizers to arrange for the cash to pay the safari drivers. We saw not even a butterfly on the safari. The falls were beautiful and we got 1.5 hrs to enjoy. Spice plantation meal was ok. Skip this. This trip isn't worth.

Nice day out

The Tour started on time unfortunately that changed as a few people on the tour thought that timings would not apply to them. Nothing the tour guide could have done apart from leaving them behind which was properly no option. Trip was beautiful and the spice farm was more interesting then I would have had imagined.

Great day out

This is really a great experience. Jeep safari through the jungle to the waterfall with monkeys everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend this for any one with mobility concerns, the jeep is an ‘off roading’ experience and is very bumpy. To get to the waterfall there’s a little walk with rough terrain. To get down to the waterfall you have to climb down some rocks. The tour company staff were fab. Coach was lovely, full AC and super clean.

Extremely dissappointed as too rushed

3 hrs to get to falls was very long. No time to visit any churches. The spice plantation was a 15 min walk around a wild garden to get you to the shop. We only had 30 mins for lunch. Then a 2 hr drive back. We were told lunch was before spice walk but on arrival it was all rushed and told by staff we had to wait till later to eat. By this time it was 2.30 and had to be back at bus for 3pm. We had been out since 6am. Totally unacceptable. No consideration given to slow walkers. older people or anyone with a disability. Considering your site says up to 99yrs. Not the experience we were expecting so disappointed overall.

An alright tour

The bus seats were uncomfortable but the food offered was alright. The staff was very cooperative to everyone in the group.

Amazing

Amazing views. But to get there is a hassle.There are not any reviews on difficulty getting there. You need to book tickets and the time slots in advance and on line. However you when you reach at the base of the mountain. there is procedure to follow, which is to stand in so called cue at the jeep office (it is driver's union) to book a jeep (500rupees or £5) ,which carries 7 persons, so if you are less than 7 in your party, you have find rest or miss your turn, ) it took us nearly 3 hours in the queue just to make up numbers required. Once you have your token for the jeep, You need pay for the life jackets and it is compulsory (about 40 rupees or 40p). after that you get in the jeep and travel about kilometre, where there is a check post and you pay 100 rupees cash,to enter the park.after that it is 40 mins of very rough roads to get to the top.When get there you have roughly 90 mins to enjoy the views and you also swim at the base of the falls (life jackets is must ) be warned if you miss your jeep time , you will end up paying more money to get you down. It is not suitable for young children or severe disabilty, its very rocky and uneven .environment.

Great experience

The whole experience was so memorable. The guide was so helpful and polite. Loved the waterfalls and had enough time to watch the cheeky monkeys. Loved the spice plantation so interesting and the buffet style lunch was amazing although we would have liked a little more time there. Old goa was nice but the 15 mins we had there was far to short. Overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone of all ages.

Dudhsagar Falls Trip

The Dudhsagar Falls was grand. But the tour operator refused to pick me at my Marriott hotel. So I had to walk to a meeting point in the early hours of the morning.

Beautiful falls, below average guide.

Watching the train travel over the falls. The experience of the falls was one to highly recommend although the guide was average. He left the coach on the way back before the guests departed. Little communication but at the end of the day if you just want transportation organised including the jeep to the falls then it was acceptable. (If just for the experience would have been 5 stars)

Dudhsagar Falls Is a Site to See

I had booked this tour because it stated that it would be in English which it wasn’t. The majority of instructions were given in Hindi or Konkani and sometimes given to me in English by the tour director. Luckily there were some great people in my tour group who were able to answer my questions. The jeep ride to the falls was a lot of fun and it was a beautiful location to experience.

Rushed and only benefit was taking us there

Convenient to book so you get to the waterfall. However, the benefits stop at convenience. Good communication prior to departure/ collection. Tour guide appeared to always be rushed and treating the journey stops as tick box exercises. After the first stop, about 4 people had to run after the bus because this had left without them. Bus was old and smelled of petrol, although AC was working well. Loud music was played at 7am until i asked to be switched off. Same happened in the pm when people complained again. Lunch at the plantation was again rushed, and it all seemed like a conveyor belt process. The guide would start talking about the plants without enduring everyone re-joined the group from the previous point. It all was hectic and rushed and nothing like an experience you’d remember for anything else but means of transportation to the waterfall. 45 min jeep ride (worth it!) from park to waterfall + 90 min to spend there (more than enough if you don’t intend to do the trek that takes you to the train rails)

Waiting on refund

Still waiting on a refund, my trip was cancelled -Inwas told a refund would occur within 72 hours, this still has not happened

Nice trip

Waterfall Dudhsagar and Spice Planation were very nice. Good trip for everybody who love and looking for nature.

Great experience

Great experience but not suitable for anyone with a bad back, 45 minutes off road in a jeep then 15 minutes walk to waterfall over rocks. Very busy once there but worth it

Not for everyone

At first we didn’t have a proper tour guide, we just got a transportation (large old bus full of people). 80% of the tour we were on this bus. When we finally arrived to the waterfall, it was so crowded… I don’t recommend this tour for people who used to high quality tours and who don’t like crowded places. But spice farm was nice.

Nature

Beautiful place to visit. You cannot go with your own car. There are companies who received approval from archaeological department to take tourists. It cost 500RS per person in sharing car and 3500RS for booking private car. Try to bargain for private car. Nice waterfall, where you can swim and relax. Car drops you and then you have 1 hour to relax or swim or whatever you want to do.

Your is good and value for money.

Break fast place is to small and congested. Too long for waiting jeep station. Lunch is poor. Plantation is good to learn about spices. Bus is not maintained well. My wife got a bump on her head due speaker box on sealing fall down and hit. Some other gentleman cut his palm for bandaid.

Worst treatment on tour ever

Our guide, Rahman, did not acknowledge or speak to us in English at all, despite being fluent in English. We were given no instructions, information or timings, and missed the first stop completely because we were not informed of what the stop was for. He spoke in his native language to the rest of the guests for the duration, leaving us feeling particularly excluded. We had to approach him directly to get any directions, and even these were given reluctantly. Being the only two native English speakers, he tried to separate us on to different jeeps, and did not appreciate it when we refused. By the time we got to the waterfalls (again with no information, background or history about the area), he told us he would speak to us in the car park rather than speak to us on the bus. When we reached the spice plantation, we were handed over to another guide who spoke in English to the entire group, who were all comfortable and happy with this - making it apparent that Rahman made no effort. Despite the beauty of the area, and the amazing waterfall, the trip was ruined by the lazy attitude of the guide. We have been on numerous trips in different areas of India (including Delhi and Mumbai) and have never had such poor treatment. It could not have been clearer that we were not included on the tour.

Great day out!

The waterfalls were definitely worth the treacherous walk and bumpy jeep ride! It was very busy however the early morning pick up was worth it as it meant you’re not waiting in a very long jeep queue at peak time which seemed to be about lunchtime. Clearly a very popular spot in Goa. The Spice plantation was very interesting, the tour guide was great and shared a lot of useful knowledge. Also we had the opportunity to buy some of the spices talked about at the end. Definitely recommend this tour.

Treated like cattle, very disorganized. Long wait times. Left the tour midway and came back to hour hotel ourselves

Bad experience

You can not trust the company Trip Bea. First they moved the tour from October 29, 2022 to October 30, 2022. But they did not never pick us up at October 30. We were waiting for a couple of hours and no one contacted us. And it is not possible to get in contract to Viator. I will never more book tours thought Viator.

Best way to explore Goa and surroundings

Really Amazing. Vert helpful guiding! Bathing and seeing monkeys, that was just awesome! Very good organisation.

Good

Trip was good, the bus driver was nice. There were just 2 non-indians, so I'm not sure if the driver doesn't speak much english (we communicated about pick up and it was fine) or just in general, spoke hindi, but my husband translated stuff to me and tp the french guy. Maybe if there would have been more english speaking ppl he would have been explaining stuff in english. But anyway, really nice person. We got "private" english tour of the plantation, the guide was amazing. The only problem that at the churches (2 chucrches) the guy said we don't have time anymore and allowed only 20 min and didn't mention that these 2 chucrches are across the street so I was actually expecting to go to one more place for 20 min. People on the bus were horrible, but you cannot chose other passengers I guess - playing music, dancing, shouting, etc.

Funky ans interesting

It was a great day ! The waterfall in the jungle filled with little monkeys was really exotic and then the spice village was very interesting. The only negative point is that to be picked up by bus from the hotel it must be close to the agency otherwise it is up to us to manage. If you have to choose only one excursion in Goa, for me this is the one to choose !

Great Tour

The tour was very solid. I was able to see parts of North Goa I would have not been able to see had I been planning the trip on my own.

Falls gorgeous but not English speaking and toilets dirty

The falls themselves were beautiful but breakfast place was dirty though food was very good. Toilet very filthy there. Toilet at the falls very dirty too. Guide almost 100% spoke only Hindi even though you advertised as having an English guide. Even when I requested English translation he only did that once for me. We left before lunch in our own taxi as my friend was sick from bumpy keep rides to and from the falls.

Amazing jungle experience and spice plantation tour !

Had a great time ! Drive to the falls was breathtaking amid lush green forests. Jeep safari from the gate to the falls was the most memorable part of the trip apart from the Waterfall. Next we were taken to the spice plantation where we had a hearty lunch. Food was simple but very rustic. Loved the aroma! After that a guide took us on the tour of the spice garden and explained about the different varieties. I would like to thank Tripbea for this amazing experience and would strongly recommend this trip to everyone.

Esperienza carina

Carina ma non eccezionale. La parte più divertente è l'escursione in jeep e la visita al parco e cascate con tantissime scimmie da vedere. La visita alla piantagione mi aspettavo di vedere qualcosa in più, magari anche come vengono coltivate e lavorate le spezie. Oltre il pranzo poco più. Purtroppo la parte della visita alla vecchia Goa si è ridotta ad una breve sosta per vedere da fuori la Cattedrale di Bom Jesus (in ristrutturazione) e la Se Catedral

Schlecht organisiert und Hindi anstatt Englisch

Achtung: Old Goa wird NICHT besichtigt. Tour ist nicht in Englisch sondern in Hindi. In Englisch nur das Allernötigste. Tour organisation (wann geht es wo los) sehr chaotisch. Das Ziel ist schön und lohnenswert.
