CAIRO IN A DAY

The tour for a day in Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and museum was okay. It was fun and educational. Our tour guide Ahmed Salah was excellent and patient. He was able to fill our curiosity in Egypt’s history. Plus, he took great and instagrammable photos too! The only downside is, Grand Museum may be more preferrable since it has more old artifacts and I think more facts to discover as per tourist’s perspective. If added instead of Egyptian Museum, the tour will be more appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience!

An Awesome and worthwhile experience with Knowledgeable guide

It was such a great tour. Our guide Alber was such a good host and was able to accommodate each of our request. Both the guide and photographers were well spoken, reassuring and provided a comfortable environment for our 3 year old kid. The Pyramids and Sphinx were amazing. Camel ride (which my kid enjoyed a lot) was so exciting and fun and it is definitely a must in Cairo. There were loads of extra stops like a clothes shop, perfume shop and Papyrus art shop. Alber was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic with perfect English. Would highly recommend and ask for Alber,my kid adored him too. Great experience

perfect tour with Youssef around the pyramids, sphinx and the gem (special request). He had always an answer to any question and is very knowledgeable. He speaks english like it is his native language. Definitely would do it again.

Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

The Giza Pyramids and Sphinx tour was great. We did enter into the Heop's pyramid (at extra cost). I took a camel ride as well (also extra cost). The guide Ahmed Nashaat was knowledgeable and experienced. The visit to the Egyptian Museum in the afternoon however, was at a rush. Two hours are not enough. Even if it is not possible to see every single piece in the museum, at least 3 - 3 1/2 hours should be planned for this.

Day out at the pyramids, Egyptian museums

Ramasside helped to arrange a great day out in Giza. We started off visiting the Egyptian museum, the Civilisations museum before rounding it off with a visit to the pyramids and the Sphinx. We even managed to ride around on camels at sunset at the pyramids which was magical. Our guide, Yasmin was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. We were kept busy and interested at all times at a pace we could manage comfortably. Great day out and highly recommended in Cairo/ Giza

Best Guide in Cairo

Hamad our Guide provided by our tour company, Ramasside Tours, made our trip special by showing patience, expert knowledge, and going out of the way to help. He speaks 4 languagus and has a good sense of humor. Everything went as planned. During two days we went to Giza, Dashur, Memphis, Sakkara.

Alexandria sightseeing

A whirlwind trip of Alexandria, the guide was very friendly and accommodating , adapting the tour when certain sites were closed. Travelled with a group of 8 and the van picked us up and dropped off at only 1 location.

Exotic and Magnificent Civilization and Wonderful People of Egypt .

The views of the pyramids at Sakkara and Giza were simply awesome. My tour guide Lamia is exceptionally talented. Lamia has a thorough and deep knowledge about the cultural history and the traditional heritage of these magnificent monuments that are a living testimony of the greatness of a very advanced ancient civilization of the Nile. Lamia has a unique way of imparting her knowledge which makes you feel so much attached to the history of this wonderful place. I sometimes think that every Egyptian person should carry the richness and pride of this civilisation left behind by their ancestors right from the kings of ancient times... Lamia has another unique quality .. she looks like she is a direct descendant of that noble lineage of the rulers of Egypt. She is like a Queen herself. Amazing experience with Ahmed refaat

Really great experience Ahmed refaat is a great Egyptologist he can read walls and is really passionate about it, really friendly and smart plus he helps a lot to not overpay for souvenirs or tips. He has also have very good ideas for pictures and pose, highly recommended if you want to have a great and safe experience.

Amir is a legend

Amir is a legend. He worked so hard all day to make sure we had an excellent time, and we certainly did. Nothing is too much trouble. The whole experience— from booking via Nada in the Ramasside office, to delivery back to our hotel by Ahmed the driver— was brilliant and I would recommend it highly

Cairo layover private tour

I had a wonderful experience with this tour from the moment of booking, airport pickup, the whole day tour, and airport drop off. I had a 17 hour layover in Cairo and this company and guide did not disappoint. Our Egyptologist Mina messaged me prior to our arrival letting me know exactly what to expect when we arrive. As two females in a foreign place, exiting the airport looked intimidating, but having the steps of what to expect sent from Mina previously and a driver with a noticeable sign waiting for us right outside the airport doors was reassuring. Ahmed was an amazing driver and navigated through the hectic traffic with ease. We felt safe the whole time. We visited The Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza. We opted to do the camel ride and was very pleased with the experience. We also opted for a photographer, Ahmed F., who captured really great shots of us all around these areas. Mina gave many options to visit during our layover and let us choose what we would like. One of the things he suggested was going to the papyrus paper museum for a quick demonstration, this place ended up being my favorite thing I learned about and I’m so glad we stopped here. I wanted to at least see the Nile River and Mina out done himself by taking us for lunch at the Andrea Memphis, located on the Nile. Additionally, we went to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization where Mina’s knowledge of the history and culture shined bright. We then toured the Royal Mummies. I cannot say enough good things about how great and knowledgable Mina was and he listened to everything we wanted and made it happen.

Bobs day out in Cairo with Alber and Ahmed

Booked a private day tour with Get Your Guide. Was appointed a guide called Alber who contacted me prior to arrival in Cairo so I met him at the airport without any problems. I was driven by Ahmed who navigated the infamous traffic and I felt completely safe with him Alber was unbelievably knowledgeable and passionate about the history of his country. His English is excellent. The visit to the museum wouldn’t have been the same without him. Not surprisingly the highlight of the day was our time at the Pyramids when Alber helped me capture my experience with some brilliant photos. I was well looked after and taken care of so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this team. Take plenty of cash as there are numerous occasions where you’ll need it!!

Last minute booking - epic experience

The whole tour was handled speedily (as a last minute booking), communicated promptly throughout, picked up from airport and taken to see everything I had asked about, and given options for other activities when time allowed. My tour guide, Paul, was amazing and informative and gave his best recommendations of things to do and try during my short stopover in Cairo.

Over the Top Pyramid Tour

We toured Giza Pyramids and Saqqara on our last day of our trip to Egypt and it couldn’t have been a better way to end it. Our tour guide Mina was the best. He was so knowledgeable, flexible and made sure we were taken good care of. It was very hot and but he made certain we had plenty of water and refreshments. We highly recommend private tour to get the most from this experience, and be sure to ask for Mina.

I highly recommend Mina and this tour company! I extensively googled and researched before booking, looking for reputable companies. I am so happy I found Mina and Ramasside. The communication was excellent and so appreciated. We had an 18 hour layover and wanted to fit as much as possible into one day. They delivered. Our driver collected us at 6am and dropped us back off at the Cairo Airport at 9pm. In that time we were able to see the pyramids, visit the Egyptian Civilization Museum (where Mina gave us a full tour), visited the papyrus educational center, we were able to visit Coptic Cairo, the Cave Church, Khan Al-Khalili and had dinner on the Nile. Mina took the best photos, helped us navigate large crowds and people trying to sell souvenirs, etc. Mina was so knowledgeable and professional. Our driver Ahmed was a fantastic driver- needed in Cairo, and stayed and kept our belongings safe throughout the day. Mina WhatsApped me before our arrival making everything seamless. If you have a layover on Cairo I would highly recommend you book with Ramasside. Everything was perfect!

Worthwhile Experience

This was definitely a worthwhile experience. I opted to get picked up from airport since I was only in Cairo for a long layover. We were able to do everything I had wanted, and got some great pictures as well as a nice papyrus painting. My guide Amir was very knowledgeable and explained everything in such detail!

Our trip in Cairo is memorable, which is made possible by our tour guide Hamad who customizes the private tour based on our interest and fitness level. He is mindful of our safety and comfort level and adds in breaks for refreshments at just the right time. His English is very good and he is punctuate in picking us up every day. One day in Cairo to see as much as possible!

We had one day to see as much as we could in Cairo. I did some research on tailored tours and ended up selecting Rammaside Tours. We had a great time, our guide Ayoub had extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and was a wealth of knowledge answering all our questions and giving us everything we needed to know. The views were just shown in TV. We had many fantastic photo opportunities and so many great photos to match. Of course, photos mean nothing without the proper guidance and information provided by our very competent and entertaining guide mr mohamed. Beyond Expectations

Our day tour with Mina surpassed any expectations we had about the Cairo layover tour. It began with a warm greeting at our hotel, where Mina introduced himself and the driver, and explained the itinerary. The car was comfortable and despite the craziness of Cairo traffic, we always felt safe in the hands of our wonderful driver. Along the way to our first stop, the Pyramids, Mina filled the travel time with very knowledgeable details about the City of Dead and many other interesting facts about Cairo. At the Pyramids, the ticket process was seamless and Mina very patiently explained the history of the area, whilst helping to take some amazing photos. Throughout the trip Mina was very flexible, always giving options about what to do and the order in which to do it, making the whole experience feel tailor-made. Must-See Excursión to Memphis

First class from beginning to end. It was not a long day, but packed with great sights and wonderful education from my guide Mina. Recommended tuor

Together with Ayoub, our guide, and Moataz, our driver, we visited the Egyptian museum, the Pyramids, the Sphinx and we had a very good lunch. Everything was amazing, we stayed in Cairo only two days but thanks to Ayoub and Moataz we had the opportunity to feel the real ancient and actual Egyptian atmosphere.

Tours to Pyramids+Sphinx and Sakkara+Memphis+Dahshur

We had a great time with our guides, Mena (Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur) and Bisho(Giza Plateau) and the drivers, who made sure we had the best experience. They were both very attentive to our needs and wishes. They also teached us about Egyptian ancient history and in addition to sightseeing, Mena showed us a local egiptian carpet school were we learnt how carpets are made and Bisho showed us a local perfume and essence laboratory and a papyrus factory. They also provided some authentic egiptian meals, one modern, with Bisho, and one in a vintage restaurant with Mena. I trully recommend Ramasside, especially Mena and Bisho for whom we were very thankfull to meet and make friends with. We were very satisfied with our tours and pleased to not only visit the main attractions, but also to learn about tradition, history, culture and gastronomy. I must add that they also took us some great pictures and had the patience to take as many as we needed. We were delighted with our experiences.

Cairo - A Tick off the Bucket List

My friend and I had a great time in Cairo, the first part of our Egyptian trip. We had Paula as our guide and he was a fount of wonderful information about the places we visited, including the Hanging Church, the Egyptian museum and the Pyramids. We learnt a lot of interesting facts about the Coptic church as well as Egyptian history. All of these made our trip more meaningful and interesting. Even the shopping trips to the papyrus and oils shops were lots of fun. Now on to the next part of our Egyptian trip.

It was a nice experience!

It was a beautiful city to travel at night with our guide. Him and his friends directed us around the old town of Cairo and kept us safe. We went for tea, and got some souvenirs along with learning a bit about the culture. Other than a minor language barrier, we had a good time!
