It is really hard to choose what part of the day (experience) was the best..The best part of the day was being able to experience the passion and understanding that Mo conveys about Egyptology and the Egyptian people in every place and conversation that we had this day ! Fascinating, intelligent , humble and kind ..One is as integral as the next to be able to experience Egypt! We are def coming back to this place ! Egypt is magical .. Cairo Day Tour

The Tree of Life Tours with our guide Rashdaa Del Mohamed (and driver Mohamed) was great. She speaks both English & Spanish fluently. We loved the historical info she gave us plus the information on current affairs. The Citadel was impressive, the Bazaar was interesting, and Egyptian Museum included King Tut! We would book this again (very safe).

Great tour made better by our guide

This was a great tour. Our tour guide Ibrahim was the best tour guide we had during our entire trip. I learned so much from him about ancient and modern Egypt, the Muslim faith, the artifacts in the museum, and the history of the Coptic people. He was able to answer every question we had and spoke excellent English. His demeanor was laid-back and friendly. We didn’t know we were also getting a photographer as well. He took some amazing photos with our camera. I would highly recommend this tour and to ask for Ibrahim as your tour guide.

Fantastic private day tour in Cairo.

Booked tour before leaving uk so receiving text from Radwan day before trip was v reassuring. What a great guide! He arranged the timing of visits to each sight to be most advantageous regarding traffic and crowds. His enthusiasm and knowledge was infectious! Enabling us to understand and appreciate all we were looking at from the Citadel to the Egyptian Museum with a relaxing yet atmospheric lunch in Khan al-Khalili. A great day we would recommend everyone to ask for Radwan as their guide to Cairo.

Fantastic day in Cairo with Fatma Mohammed

Fatma Mohammed arrived early for the 8:00am pickup and rang the room to introduce herself, this made it very easy to spot her when we came down to reception. Fatma was super friendly and immediately put us at ease. In the car driving to the Egyptian Museum she chatted at length about the day, the area, the lengthy and difficult process of becoming a tour guide in Egypt and the car journey soon passed with Lots of conversation and laughter. We were passed swiftly through tickets and security and into the Egyptian museum, where starting at the top Fatma spent time telling us the stories and mysteries that made the artefacts come to life, she knew exactly where to go and what to see and we were enthralled by her stories, we had luckily landed on a quiet day and had time and space to see everything we wanted, Fatma was able to easily answer any questions we had, and point out anything we may have missed. We then spent an hour in the Bazaar and as we weren’t overly interested in shopping were able to look at the beautiful mosques and buildings and learn some more history about the area. The next stop was the Citadel were we had time to take in the stunning views, appreciate the architecture, learn some more interesting stories, relax in the stunning mosque and soak in the atmosphere. We finished the day with a late lunch on the river chatting and laughing over good food with Fatma and Michel, our driver for the day. Fatma was the friendliest, most knowledgeable and interesting tour guide I have ever been lucky enough to have and wish that I could have her with me for every trip. I highly recommend this trip and Fatma as your guide.

Perfect first day tour for Cairo

Was picked up from my Hotel in Cairo by Ian Rasha and her driver. One by one we visited the citadel ,Egyptian museum, bazaar and finished with food. My tour guide had all the knowledge about every attraction , and all the artifacts in the museum. I was very impressed. She answered all questions and gave me plenty of time to see every attraction properly on my first day in Cairo. It was really enjoyable. Also I was contacted by the tour guide the day before to confirm pick up location and drop which was so helpful. Overall I have to give a 5/5 for this tour and highly recommend this tour with Tree of Life Day Tours :)

Fabulous Days of Ancient Egypt with Tree of Life

We just finished our private two day tour of Cairo with our travel guide Yasser (Tree of Life). It was amazing. Day 1 went so quickly before my husband and I knew it, the day was over, leaving us excited for Day 2. Day 1 exploring Giza: Our English speaking guide, Yasser, and driver picked us up at our hotel, unfortunately, we were running late but Yasser was very polite and understanding . We headed to the pyramids of Giza. Yasser whisked us through the lines and within minutes we were briefed on the history of the pyramids of Giza. Without asking, Yasser offered to take photos of us, he's quite the professional and got photos we would have never taken on our own. We were then driven to the top plateau to ride the camels, don't pass this up, we got photos that you can't get from and other side of the pyramids. I can't recommend enough that you take the Tree of Life guided tour, it guide Yasser custom tailored each day according to our needs. We skipped a few items in the agenda, extended some parts of the visits and shortened where we felt we didn't want to spend as much time there. That was the best part of getting a private guide, Yasser listened to what we were most interested in and provided more historical data and time on these subject matters.

Wonderful trip

We went on a trip with our guide Manar. The views were breathtaking and our guide explaned us the history of Cairo so Well ! She was just perfect ! As a guide, as a human being and as a friend. Ps : she is an amazing photographer too !!!!! Love love love

We booked this tour through Viator, and everything was perfect. The communication was great, and Manar was a wonderful guide. She is also a great photographer, so you will get great photos from your day. We learned a lot during the day and had such a fun time. I highly recommend!!!

Highlights of Cairo

Just finished one of the absolute best tours I have ever done. Ashraf our guide for the day showed us the pyramids of Giza. The bazaar the sphinx we had a camel ride and an absolutely delicious lunch and the finished up at the Cairo museum what a fantastic day Ashraf was polite funny and extremely knowledgeable about everything with excellent English I wish we could take him with us for the rest of our tour of Egypt. Ps his driver Yafa. Was also absolutely brilliant and very funny Thank you so much for making our day in Cairo so special

Rasha was excellent

We had booked all our tours from Australia and on our 2nd day we meet rasha. We quickly learned not all guides live up to the standard Rasha sets. She took the time to find out our interests and tailored the day specifically to us. Allowing us to spend the most amount of out time in the places we wanted to see. Rasha's English and accent is excellent, and he knowledge of the subject is endless, again not all guides live up to the standard Rasha sets. I'd recommend emailing ahead and asking for Rasha, you won't be disappointed. Rasha, thank you for everything, I'll be contacting you when we return.

Great Private Tour with Michael from Tree of Life Day Tours

My fiancé and I had a great tour of the Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Bazaar. Michael and his driver arrived promptly at our hotel. Michael had a relaxed, friendly personality that we really appreciated. He was also very accommodating with our request to explore the museum last. For each site we visited, Michael told us the relevant history. He was especially helpful when we visited the Khan al-Khalil Bazaar. Upon our request, he helped us find merchants to purchase some spices and scarves. We were also able to stop by the El Fishawy coffee shop and enjoy some outstanding coffee and mint tea. The lunch that was included with the tour was also very tasty. I would absolutely recommend using Tree of Life’s tour service. Michael helped make our last day in Cairo a wonderful end to our trip to Egypt.

Amazing Egyptologist Amina

A fabulous day spent with a very knowledgeable passionate Egyptologist Amina . She knew so much and I could tell she loved her job ! This private tour guides you through all the key features for the Egyptian museum ! It would be very difficult to do without a guide. You have to pay for an extra ticket to use your camera in the museum, but Amina did all the queuing in the hot sun we just wondered around the grounds of the museum taking photos . The lunch was a buffet style , on a boat that did a 30 min cruise up the Nile whilst your eating. The rest of the day was spent between the citadel and the famous khan bazaar!! Great day out, highly recommend!!

Fascinating day!

We count ourselves fortunate to have been allocated Ibrahim Abdul Aziz as our guide and very knowledgeable historian for the day. His passion, enthusiasm, calm disposition made our visit both educational and enjoyable. His love, insight and knowledge of Egypt and its culture was very enlightening. Ashraf / Bassem was the best guide we had in Egypt!

We had Ashraf as a guide through Tree of Life and I have to say that he was very knowledgeable about the subject! He has been guiding for over 20 years and goes into depth on every question we asked! He also got us one of the best shawarma we've ever had. Make sure to get the chicken, that was best. We sat down at a nice cafe in Khan Kalili to eat and have coffee and some water. Be careful for that shop and to always ask the price before ordering. We ordered without asking for the price and they saw us take out $100 cash and we felt they overcharged us.

Since moving to Egypt several years ago, my husband and I have had several amazing excursions with our guide Ashraf Zakhary! Pyramids, Citadel, Khan-il Khalili, Camel rides,Sakkara, Nile Lunch Cruise- the list goes on as we continue to book him whenever friends and family visit. Ashraf speaks fluent English, is flexible and punctual. The cars or vans provided always have air conditioning and are clean. He is so knowledgable he can tailor the tour to your liking on the spot and has very good rapport with all ages- this is especially helpful when in groups! :) He is the first person we call when we have visitors and I trust him implicitly with my family and friends when we are unable to accompany them.

An excellent day in Cairo

The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the museum, especially the Mummy Room. Don't miss it! Mahmoud Hoka was an excellent guide, and if you have the opportunity to choose your Egypt expert I can thoroughly recommend him.

A second excellent day with a brilliant guide

We were picked up from our hotel by our guide Mahmoud Hoka and were delighted to see him as he had been our guide on the previous day. His English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. The museum was so vast that we would have struggled to decide what to look at without his advice. He showed us the most interesting exhibits and then allowed us time on our own. The citadel was very interesting and lunch on the Nile was very pleasant. We had a short wander through the bazaar and were then returned to our hotel. An excellent day with Mahmoud who felt like a friend when we said goodbye.

Great tour

With guide Yasser and driver Sam we visited the Egyptian museum to see the royal mummies, did a felucca trip, visited the bazaar, the citadel with the mosque of Muhammad Ali, the cavern church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, the Ben Ezra synagogue, and finally did a cruise along the nile with a great show of belly dancing and tannoura dancing!! It was a full and nice day. Yasser is very knowledgeable and willing to give information on anything that crossed my eye.

Our guide Mahmood Hoka was fantastic and was able to show us the most important displays. His English is excellent and he is very knowledgeable, answering any questions we asked. He allowed us time on our own after showing us what he considered to be the best things to see. He was very pleasant to spend the day with and we were lucky enough to have him for two different tours on two consecutive days. The citadel and mosque was very interesting, the lunch on Nile Island was good and we chose to have a short time looking in the bazaar..The flexibility allowed us to spend more or less time at each site. We visited pyramids of Giza, Cairo Egyptian museum, the bazaar and small stop to take pic of nile .. our tour guide Ahmed eraky (rocky)was very knowledgeable and helpful on Egyptian history ... We took a lot of pics hand a great time and covered a lot in just 1 day. Would totally recommend this tour.

Tour increíble y guía y conductor maravilloso !!

Nuestro guía Yasser pasó por nosotras al hotel muy puntual el primer día muy amable y hablando Perfecto español, nos presento al chofer misho y nos dieron unos aperitivos y aguas, primero nos dirigimos a las pirámides de Guiza, nuestro guía nos explicó toda la historia, nos dio muy buenos tips y nos tomó fotos increíbles, subimos la pirámide de keops y luego fuimos a una paseo en camello y a lugar panoramico en donde se ven todas las pirámides con vistas hermosas, es una experiencia increíble, después fuimos a la esfinge de Guiza y nos explico toda la historia y nos estuvo tomando fotos increíbles, despues nos llevó a un restaurante muy rico y con una vista hermosa frente a la esfinge, después fuimos a la galería del papiro en donde nos explicaron su historia y cómo se fabrica y compramos unos papiros increíbles, después fuimos a las pirámides de saqqara y entramos a ver los grabados de teti, después nos dieron otras bebidas, después fuimos a memphis en donde vimos muchas esfinges e historia, después nos regresaron a nuestro hotel Estamos muy contentas con el tour, estuvo increíble, con un cronograma Perfecto para disfrutar todo a la debida hora y nuestra guía habla Perfecto español y nos ayudaba en cualquier petición, nos regaló muchas cosas de cortesía, nos tomó fotos increíbles y nos dio muchos tips. Al segundo día nos dieron la opción de empezar el tour a la hora que prefirieras lo cual nos ayudó mucho a descansar más, primero fuimos al museo de Egipto, y nuestro guía nos explicó todo, después fuimos al paseo el faluca, que fue muy pacifico y con bonitas vistas del Río nilo, después fuimos al Mercado y nos ofrecieron comida típica egipcia, también le hicimos solicitudes especiales a nuestro guía y nos ayudó en todo, después fuimos a 2 mezquitas muy bellas y después al barrio viejo, finalizamos con una cena en barco por el nilo, con buffet muy buen servido y un show de baile, nos gusto mucho y nuestro guía fue el mejor, nos encanto este tour

Conociendo El Cairo y su historia

Ver las pirámides es una ruta imprescindible pero visitar el museo, la ciudadela y callejear por las calles y tiendas de la ciudad es la mejor manera de conocer su historia y costumbres. Rasha nos ha acompañado en esta visita y es recomendable 100%. Muchas gracias por este día Rasha, ha sido fantástico.

El Cairo espectacular

Recomiendo la visita a las pirámides con paseo a camello incluido, experiencia maravillosa! Para compartir y recordar siempre. Si puedes visita una buena perfumería. Si te gusta la historia el museo es imperdible.

SHUKRAN YASSER!!

Il nostro tour (per due persone) è iniziato alle 8.30 del mattino. Yasser Tolba è venuto a prenderci al nostro albergo e con il suo autista (molto simpatico e cordiale) ci siamo recati al Museo Egizio dove la visita è durata circa 2 ore. Poi abbiamo raggiunto il Bazar khan al khalili in cui abbiamo preso un meraviglioso tè alla menta al Café Fishawi. In seguito abbiamo raggiunto la Cittadella, visitato la Moschea di Muhammad Ali detta di alabastro e ammirato il Cairo dal belvedere da cui si possono vedere anche le piramidi. Infine abbiamo pranzato lungo il Nilo su una barca ristorante in cui ci hanno servito un ottimo pollo arrosto. In tutte le location Yasser è stato molto disponibile e ci ha scattato moltissime foto. Io l’ho fatto addirittura tornare indietro per scattarne ancora una! Alla fine del tour gli abbiamo chiesto di aiutarci a comprare una scheda telefonica per il cellulare e lui molto carinamente ci ha accompagnato in un centro di telefonia facendoci da interprete. Yasser è laureato in italiano e parla perfettamente la nostra lingua. È molto preparato sia sulla civiltà egizia sia, ovviamente, sulla cultura islamica. Vivamente consigliato in quanto persona gentile, affidabile e responsabile. Grazie Yasser! Shukran! P.s.
