Highly, Highly Recommend the private tour. Our tour guide Sakis was phenomenal and truly made our trip special and memorable. Each of our scheduled stops was enhanced by Sakis’s knowledge and personality. This tour delivered in every way and created an experience which was well worth the cost. If you’re able, spend the extra money especially if you’re traveling with a small group like ours. Family of 5 adults.

Review weather forecast before trip

Manuel was a charming driver and guide but unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy. Although we got to see the Grand Dru, the Aiguille du Midi was shrouded in mist and we couldn’t see Mont Blanc. Be prepared to cancel the tour is there is the slightest weather risk.

Well worth this trip

This was a well planned and well executed day trip. Our driver, Manuel, was very polite and courteous. He guided us each step of the way and met us to take us to lunch.

A trip not to miss

Our trip to Chamonix Mont Blanc was fabulous! Our private driver, Aristotle, was absolutely the best. He spoke great English, was very attentive and informative. We had a bit of mountain sickness, due to the high altitude. Because we had extra time, due to not staying up on the mountain long, he took us to a beautiful waterfall. We paid for the all inclusive trip and it was well worth it. Having the tickets to the cable car lift and train and the wonderful lunch at theRose des Ponts was well worth the cost. The private drive was very comfortable. We are so happy that we didn't miss the chance to see the beautiful area of Chamonix Mot Blanc. Even with the mountain sickness, we are so happy that we made the trip. It was nice to have a private driver, over taking a group tour. We were able to go at our own pace. Due to medical issues, we use canes. Not having to keep up with a group was an extra plus. Aristotle was very sweet and caring and took wonderful care of us. We would hire him again. He was just that wonderful!

Misrepresented "Tour"

This was supposed to be a "tour" and turned out to be a a car transfer only. I had expected a guide to show the family around.

Loved it all may well be the most beautiful town I’ve ever been too and our Greek tour guide Yanis was a heap of laughs and fun and very knowledgeable I would rate this five stars

Beautiful Chamonix Mont Blanc

An amazing adventure for me and we wife to the the French town of Chamonix where we explored the cobbled streets, boutique shops, buildings and monuments - surrounded by its stunning views of the surrounding peaks. We also took the thrilling Aiguille du Midi Cable Car to the top of Mont-Blanc, reaching 3,842m (12,600ft)! From there we enjoyed the 360-degree viewpoint over the French, Swiss and Italian Alps - the highest point accessible by cable-car. An amazing day with a guide who made sure we had everything we needed, when we needed it.

Chamonix private day trip from Geneva

Booked a private day trip for 2 persons to Chamonix in early July. Konstantinos was our driver and guide and was wonderful. He expertly guided us to Aiguille du Midi Cable car + Montenvers Cog railway and the Ice Cave. He recommended a wonderful place for lunch and was extremely helpful throughout the day. He made the trip fun and stress free.

Okay as private tour however check the weather

Area is good - Sites are nice Driver attentive however did not know the area well Still worth making the trip

Must One-day trip from Geneva

Chamonix in one word was breathtaking(of course at an altitude of 4600m, Oxygen can be a issue. LOL). A beautiful trip from Geneva into the French Alps is highly recommended. To make this even better, we had one of the kindest and sweetest person who drove us from Chamonix to Geneva. Mr Marzio offered us perfect and safe service. He had stayed in India for a while and had lot of stories to share when he found out that we were from India. Would say it was one comfortable drive back after delightful sites of the Alps.

Mont Blanc wow! Be specific on guide.

Cable car to Mont Blanc summit is breathtaking. Inspirational view! Mer de Glacé train relaxing. We passed on ice caves - 400 steps up and back. Looked enticing. Only con was guide. Very nice guy but very little English, did not know Chamonix area and zero commentary. Unlike any guide I have experienced with V. Suggest you be very clear in your request.

Fantastic trip

Fantastic tour. We’ll worth it. Don’t miss this excursion and the natural beauty of the mountains. Chamonix is a charming town.

Disappointing experience

Our guide Alex was very nice and tried to help us navigate this tour. Despite asking for an English guide, Alex and I had trouble communicating. This tour takes you to locations but you still have to buy tickets - which is clear. However when we went the crowds were so big that getting a ticket to the top of the mountain proved to be undoable. We wouldn't have been able to go up until 3pm and we couldn't come back down until after 6pm, putting us back in Geneva too late. If you can book your tickets for the attractions before the trip then maybe this would have worked better, but without knowing when we'd arrive at a given site I didn't know how to make the ticketing work. Disappointing because we were looking forward to being on the mountain.

Great day in the mountains

Aristotle was our private guide Chamonix/Mount Blanc. He was so personable and friendly, we felt like we had known him for years. Paying for private tour with him definitely made a difference with getting tickets on the gondola and train rides. He gave us tips what to do and where to do it. He hung out with us for a while but also gave us our private time. He took us on a really nice and short hike to a waterfall that had a café where we had beer and wine. It was a hidden gem off the beaten path. We were not rushed at all. He was a great driver who knew a lot about the area. I highly recommend him.

What a View!!!

What stunning views. To go that high on a mountain and look down. So impressive. Too many steps for glacier tour but still worthwhile to do the train. Aristotle was our tour guide - thrilled we did private - so costs more but so worth it - all at our pace and our wants - he was engaging and very personable and made the day even more special

Beautiful trip

What a great day we had ….glad we did private. Made it more personal and the guide made the day relaxing and to our schedule and wants. The mountain climb is white knuckling but to get to the top is such an impressive journey and view. The glacier tour we only did 1/2 as way to many stairs so could only do train ride - but that was nice to do ……Aristotle was our guide he was warm engaging and very personable and again made the trip specific to us. He made it well worth the extra to have it as a private tour

The mountain was beautiful and the service to boot! There was communication from start to finish and everything was as promised. Samir was great!

Excellent Trip

Excellent private trip to Chamonix. Private van was new, clean and roomy. Our guide, Telis, was prompt and a great guy. He showed us a few non- tourist areas and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy our individual itinerary. Highly recommend a cable car to the top of the mountain. Great trip.

Memorable Day tour to Mont Blanc & Chamonix

I had an amazing trip to Mont Blanc through GVA excursions. Our driver was Telis., he was very patient with all in the bus. He Gave us proper instructions for our entire tour. In the bus he was interacting and made us comfortable to enjoy our journey also.

Demetrious Service is Superb

Demetrious is our Driver on our trip. We are a group of 10 people and we are from UK. In our group we have a disabled person, though disabled he can still travel though his ability is quite restricted. Let me point out why our tour/driver is superb. *He patiently waited for us when he pick us up from the hotel. *When I brought up my concern about my husband having a headache and the wife of my disabled friend who felt like she will pass out due to heat. He immediately resolve it by moving people around. Changing sit. *He was challenge and told off by a couple who was on the coach with us even accusing him of being racist because he help a disabled Asian man? How could that be racist? He was threatened that they will complain and will give bad review but he did not bend down but kept up with his principles that he is responsible for the health and safety of his passengers and he must give priority to a disabled person. *He even took us to see a water falls just an extra gesture from him and his company. *When we asked him if he can recommend a local restaurant for us to taste local cuisine. He take us their at the end of our trip. If you will ask me if I will recommend the service of this company? Based on our experience... I would say with a driver like Demetrious it’s a yes!!! Very seldom you will find people who has principle and pride on their job. Hope he will keep up with it and may your company find more staff like him. By the way if their is any downside... it is with the coach we have used..my husband and my friend get dizzy due to heat inside the coach when you sit at the back. This can be remedied by checking that your air-condition can reach the very back specially on summer time. My disabled friend suggest not to put people at the back or don’t cram up the coach during summer time. Hope your general manager can read this review to give recognition where it’s due. Buena experiencia

Es una buena experiencia... Sin embargo hay cosas que el anuncio y/o descripción del paquete de venta no se cumplen y no te informan.. El AUDIO GUIA EN ESPAÑOL NO SE CUMPLIO. Por otro lado la visita al túnel del hielo puede ser una lotería, pues te puedes encontrar que este cerrado y para llegar al sitio hay que caminar un largo trecho con muchas escaleras impinadas. NO TODO EL MUNDO está en capacidad de hacer este trayecto, es un trayecto difícil para niños y adultos mayores.. PUEDES PERDE TU DINERO.

Tour altamente recomendable

Siempre recordaré la cumbre del Mont Blanc. La ayuda del conductor fue muy importante en la obtención de las entradas del teleferico y del tren.
