Excellent day trip & fun filled

Did so many activities the tubing was fun! And they gave me snorkelling lessons ! Food was fresh and tasty warm friendly accommodating staff ! Honestly so glad did that tour with such a wonderful warm group of people !

Great day

We sent for K'gari, and expected to see spots og the Island that was not crauted with People, and had an absolutly great tour. Unfortunately we did not go snorkling as all good snorling places were muddy, because of heavy rain the last weeks. Instead we had good time to enjoy the rest of the activities, which were plenty.

The perfect combination of sight seeing and adventure

This trip was the perfect combination of sight seeing and adventure, the guides were so friendly and knowledgeable, it just felt like a day out with friends. We had the best time, tubing was unreal. We would definitely do the whole day again!

Good fun, stunning scenery

Absolutely perfect

This tour has been a highlight for me and my partner travelling the east coast of australia. The tour takes you to the remote part of fraser island, we were the only people on the beach! The views were absolutely stunning. We loved the kayaking down the fresh water creeks, and using the inflatable on the sea. Our favourite part was the snorkelling, we were so lucky and were able to see tons of fish, a turtle, a sting ray and a black tip shark. We also saw some dolphins. The staff were amazing too. They were super accommodating and made sure we were kept entertained and informed the whole time. Would 100% recommend this tour! Great value for money, amazing!!!!

I could marry K'gari

What an insane place. The location and tour itself were a 5/5. We saw turtles and sharks. Went kayaking swimming and all at a relaxing and super fun pace. The guides on our tour made the experience 6/5 though. Cassie, Angus, Jackson and expert boat captain man whoms name I didnt catch were all super cool, kind and fun. They are great at their job and probably deserve a raise. Thanks tasman ventures :)

Outstanding island

An outstanding experience. The day is packed with activities led by an awesome, knowledgeable and engaging crew. You do have plenty of time in each stage to enjoy the island and soak in the nature, the island offers so much. Along the way we encountered dolphins, dingos, turtles and a variety of sealife when snorkeling. We were out of whale season (make sure you check). The buffet was tasty with lots of salads on offer and cold beer (paid for) washes away that island sun. We would strongly recommend this experience as we are interested in returning.

Awesome day trip and great way to see the island and experience it!!

Awesome day, I didn’t want it to end! Staff very attentive and super friendly and just did a fantastic job with all age groups and abilities!! They serve Tea twice and a beautiful lunch and had vegetarian options! Loved that I got to kayak and snorkel (first time snorkeling a mangrove forest), it was very well organized and they kept you as busy as you wanted!! Three stops on the island to explore, each remarkably beautiful and isolated! Saw dolphins and dingos! Highly recommend this operator and boat!!

Hervey Bay K’gari full day nature soooo great

The day was truly amazing and it was a full day Toni , Cassie and the skipper were all exceptional. I think we had a medium sized group on a perfect weather day. Toni insights above the Fresh Water Creek on our kayaking adventure were inspirational. I would highly recommend this trip and this company. Lots of food. Hotel pick time was great. Remote area day trip to K'gari

Great day trip with Damo and his staff to different parts of K'gari. The girls went out of their way to ensure that you enjoyed every aspect of the trip. The lunch was also excellent and we would easily recommend using this company. Thanks for a great day, husband particularly liked the tubing experience.

Best day ever

Could not recommend this experience more! Me and my sister went for the day and had the absolute best time. We went kayaking down 2 different creeks on the island, walked up a sand dune (optional), snorkelled with a turtle!!, small sharks, sting rays and fish, and finished the day boat tubing (which we got to do twice). All 3 of the people working on the boat worked extra hard to make the day fun for us and I wish I could do it all over again. The island is beautiful and we even met a few dingoes. I was unsure if the food would cater to vegetarians but there was a lot on offer and no one went hungry. We are so happy we went for this experience and you'd be stupid to not do it. Thanks again <3

I could not recommend more, the staff is really nice, they serve food 3 times during the tour so you won't be hungry. It's a lovely and beautiful tour!

Okay day overall, just not what expected

Okay day overall. The boat was clean, all of the boat crew staff was very friendly and helpful, and showed concern for your health. During the start of the trip, one of staff members went around confirming which of the activities (snorkeling, short hike up a steep sand dune, kayak, tubing, etc) each person planned on doing during the tour and understand their health status. We had the opportunity to do all the activities, but it appeared rather busy for the staff to get it all in due to the number of people and needing to shuttle them to the activities from the cruise boat. There were about 30 people on the boat cruise, which it was advertised as 20 max. Skin suits were issued to use for protection during water activities, fins and goggles were provided, as well as the use of a life preserver if needed one. During our snorkeling and kayaking, we did see a ray on each. Water was not as clear as we expected which somewhat hindered the snorkeling activity. Based on what we seen, we are not sure about the real opportunity to see a dingo, which was one of our real interests. The food was good and plenty of it.

An amazing day

Canoeing, exploring, climbing and tubing while being extremely well looked after. Snorkelling was offered, but visibility wasn't great, so we passed on that and enjoyed the shoreline instead. Happily, the dingoes, dolphins, turtles and rays were all on display for us too.

More guests than advertised but still great

I booked the trip as advertised max 20 people but there was 38 guests on the boat. This meant there was less time to do the activities and staff busy organising people. Nevertheless, I had an opportunity to do all the activities, the boat very clean, food great and plenty of it, friendly and informative staff. As we were the only tour in the area it felt very private and peaceful

We were in Australia for a month from.uk..did a lot of trips. This was by far the best..a day we will never forget..and most car

This was one of best trips have ever been on..totally amazing day..we went kayaking through mangroves, along creeks..swimming in creeks walking along powder soft sand.My husband and I are in late 60s and not most mobile but the crew were wonderful. Rhys, damo and catolina, ( may have spelt wrong).-looked after us wonderfully..we hadn't snorkled before and my flippers kept getting stuck in sand..which was hilarious so we got back in boat. Cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Lunch was lovely ect. Can guarantee if you do this trip you will enjoy whole day

A fraser island tour you‘ll only get with tasman adventure

The tour was amazing! It had it all - snorkelling (our very first time), tubing, kayaking, laughing and so much more!

Best day trip off Sunshine Coast

The most incredible day on Fraser Island. Can’t recommend the tour highly enough. Outstanding value for money especially with the group discount we got (10 people). They took us from one activity to the next and we felt like the day was packed with activities. And best of all Maddy the team member watched our 4 year old daughter in the ocean for more than an hour while we snorkeled. That’s serious service!!!

Great tour

Great amount of time on the island for each part of the tour. Buffet was delicious. Views were amazing. Staff were very helpful and catered to everyone’s needs. Would definitely go again.

Disappointing and over commercialised

Unfortunately this tour, for us, wasn’t all it was made out to be. They cancelled the next two days of tours after our booked date due to weather so we had a very crammed boat from those cancellations being moved to our date. It felt like just a very long time spent on a busy boat with not that much time to do the activities due to getting through the numbers and a lack of equipment and staff to cater for everyone to have enough time on the activities. We travelled for a couple of hours before we made the first of two stops, the first activity here was to snorkel which was about 15 minutes then kayaked in the basically the same location which could be no more than 10 minutes of kayaking up a creek then back again…Then we got back on the boat where another couple of hours travelling took us to a large sand bar island, here we spent probably an hour where we could kayak then queue for a long time to have a go on the inflatable tube - a five minute ride which was probably the most exhilarating part of the day. This could have been a great day but it basically was over commercialised with the company thinking more about how many people they could cram in and line their pockets with rather than the experience they were providing. It felt like a military operation to get everyone at the right activity at the right time when we were at location before we were quickly ushered to the next part. It may have worked if they had more equipment and staff to provide people with longer opportunity at the activities but this definitely isn’t the tour that we were expecting which is a shame. On the plus side we saw plenty of dolphins and turtles!

Engaging, fun day for all ages!

Fantastic experience! We loved the tubing, snorkeling, kayaks, dolphins, turtles, beaches, hike, swing, and the crew! Everything was seamless, organized, fun and easy! We had 9 in our group ages 8, 10, 13, 17 and 35-40’s, and everyone loved the experiences offered! We were fed and kept entertained the entire day! Seriously loved the entire experience and appreciated the fun and engaging crew! Thanks for the kayak racing and the fun time all around!!! (Food and the slaw were rated as superb)

Tasman Ventures - Fraser Island

Amazing experience! By far our highlight of visiting Queensland. The crew in Angus and Maddie were great. Swimming in the creeks, Kayaking, walking up the Sand-dune. What a day, very easy with the bus pick up and drop off. Many thanks again!

Easy way to soak up the sun in this gorgeous location

Highly recommend this tour. Despite bad weather the team were able to move us to the next available day and weather was perfect. This tour runs the West Coast of Fraser Island and would be a nice compliment if you have done other East Coast tours. Very relaxing and ideal way to see the sites. Easier than bumping over sand dunes too! Thanks to Harmony, Reece, Daimo, Paul and the team for making our day so much fun! Have to come back to see the whales next time 👍

The crew were incredible! Friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me out by holding my baby so I could do activities with my toddler. They went above and beyond and made the day amazing.

Remote Fraser Island day trip

Remote Fraser Island tour has an exceptional team onboard. They each thoroughly enjoy their jobs, and it shows. They are friendly, caring, and knowledgeable, with wonderful skills and are ready to provide guests with the best day, filled with fun. Friendly staff! Pretty island

Lots of un! Saw whales and we went to a part of the island where no one comes. I was travelling solo and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Also met two other solo travellers.

Fabulous day out

Super fun filled day out. Amazing crew. Loads of activities, including snorkeling, kayaking and climbing a sandune. This is a trip for all ages, even young babies were in our group. We were picked up and returned to our campsite. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Worth a repeat trip

The whale sighting at the end topped off a great day of swimming, khaking, snorkelling and history lesson. Faulous staff.

Amazing!!!

It was such a good day! The crew were so friendly and informative about the island. We climbed a sand dune, swam in a creek, kayaked, snorkelled and did a water sport activity as well as having lunch and 2 snack meals provided! 1000% worth it, I had so much fun and met some lovely people.

Exceptional, breathtaking and a day we will never forget

This tour exceeded all expectations. We arrived as a family of 9 (some Aussie, some international), including a senior, an infant, a toddler and two children (8 & 12), we also had varied dietary requirements and English literacy, but we all agreed this was the best and most memorable experience. The highlight was the breathtaking, up close and personal experience with the beautiful whales and their calves, with detailed commentary from the crew. We've been on whale tours in NZ and Patagonia, but this was exceptional. At times, the whales were just a few metres from the boat and wow, they really put on a show! We also enjoyed some kayaking with the kids (even bubs) and loved the tubing. The snorkelling was OK but there wasn't much to see, but playing on the white sand beaches and dunes was fab. Now to the crew- they were knowledgeable, hospitable, friendly and professional. The day ran perfectly, as it was well organised and coordinated, but we never felt rushed. The staff went out of their way to cater to all of our needs and helped everyone so we could simply enjoy and take it all in. They thought of every small detail to make the day extra special such as taking candid photos of our family and sending them to us, providing extra special treats for the vegetarians/vegans and kids, and helping when our toddler was feeling a bit seasick. Honestly, every single crew member was exceptional, brought value to the experience and clearly loved their work, which made this a stand-out tour for us. All of the food was awesome. Truly an unbeatable and memorable day for all ages and we cannot recommend it or thank Tasman Venture enough.

Whales, kayaking and snorkelling

A wonderful informative and fun-filled day out. Fantastic whale encounters, with mothers and their calves actively swimming around the vessel. Visits to K’gari for snorkelling and kayaking was fun with beautiful scenery. The crew were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing experience

This experience was one of the most amazing and beautiful thing I’ve never done in my life and my mum agrees. All the member of the crew were really kind, friendly, available, lovely and professional. We saw a lot of beautiful and close whales. The snorkeling, the kayaking and all the activities were funny, beautiful and really nice. We enjoyed all the time we had on the boat and on the island. I really appreciate the kindness of all the member of the crew. I strongly recommend this experience. Me and my mum loved everything!

Excellent

Driver is great, doesn’t rush hence no spinning heads and vomits. Crew has the best hospitality. Couldn’t snorkel coz of excess algae however saw almost every behavior of many-many whales.

The best tour ever

We had the most wonderful time on- and offboard. We’ve had multiple whale sightings, with the animals drawing real close to the vessel, all while Leah shared insights about these wonderful creatures. Josh and Harmony acted as fun tour guides and had great stories and infos to share, e.g. about the underground basin system of K‘gari feedinf the fresh water streams on the remote island. We did some kayaking, snorkeling and walking atop a dune. All in all we had a tremendously fun day with and would go again anytime

Worth Every Penny

Whale Watching with a Naturalist, who had a vantage point above us, was exceptional. We saw mother whales with their calves, and most interesting was a pod with 1 female and 3 males involved in some rather aggressive courting behavior. Besides whale watching, we went kayaking and tubing, and walking up a steep sand dune. This tour was a full day of adventure, and we’ll worth the price!

The crew were the "salt of the earth'. All the activities were fun and well organised. Whale watching was breathtaking. Immersion in the same water space with a whale and seeing it in its natural environment via snorkel googles will be a life long memory. It was but a moment that I looked into the eye of a humpback whale but it is a moment that I will cherish always.

Fantastic experience, unbeatable whale engagement

This was a fantastic tour. A few minor criticisms: the publicity photo shows kayaking on the sea, but the kayaking is actually along an inland creek (still a great experience), and the tour is not really “remote” if you’ve experienced real Australian remoteness. But the crew are knowledgeable, helpful and very professional, and the engagement with the whales is just unbeatable. We had a perfect day for it, with blue sky, little wind and clear water, so I can’t speak for how it would be in other conditions, I have no hesitation in recommending this tour on the basis of our experience with it, and my partner and I would definitely do it again if we ever return to Hervey Bay.

Great family trip

Our family of five all had a great day. We snorkeled, walked in the sand dunes, water tubing on the beach, kayaking in a creek on K’gari. We had three ‘up and close’ whale encounters put into the day and we saw lots of humpbacks. The crew was great and took good care of us during the day, everything from morning tea, lunch to hot chocolate after snorkeling. My youngest son was ready to book another tour at the end of the day.

A great trip!

The crew was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We had humpback whales around us for hours. The kayaking was a unique experience and the lunch was tasty. We had a great day and would do it again.

Memorable visit to K'Gari

We had a wonderful day trip out to K'Gari with Tasman Venture. Although it was a windy day, the boat ride was comfortable and we enjoyed the wildlife (dolphins and snorkeling with turtles) as well as the 2 stops on the island to kayak, walk and climb the sand dunes. The food was plentiful and commentary informative. This trip was the highlight of our stay at Hervey Bay 🙂

Great day at Gari!

Loved the snorkeling and that wetsuit was included. Kayaking down the creek was awesome, very unique and special experience for us. The whole day was stunning, lots included, lunch was good and everything well organised, lovely crew!

An amazing experience.

Fantastic trip out to K'gari with Tasman Venture. The crew were amazing and made everyone feel welcome and cared for, especially Carolina. I am an elderly lady solo traveler in my 60s and the whole crew were so kind - they helped me to get in and out of the dinghies and made sure I did not miss out on any of the activities. I really felt well looked after and safe. The island was Paradise. I loved kayaking around the lake, admittedly one of the crew paddled for me and I sat back and enjoyed it. I swam in the sea, a bit cold but still the water was crystal clear. No whales as probably a bit early in the year for them but we saw a big pod of dolphins frolicking around us and some large turtles. The lunch was filling and fantastic and catered for vegetarians and GF. Overall, the trip was worth every cent. What an amazing experience and memories made. Highly recommend. A suggestion, perhaps consider conducting an Acknowledgement of Country at the start of the safety briefing before the trip commences to acknowledge the Butchulla people who are the Traditional Owners of K'gari.
