The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. The hike was very easy and the natural waterslides, rope swing, and cliff jumping were very fun. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely AMAZING!! We had Orlando as our tour guide and he did not disappoint! They were so sweet and very attentive, making sure everyone was safe and enjoyed their time. Hands down the best experience I’ve had in PR. 10/10 will recommend!!!

Great atmosphere, great people and even better activities

The experience was amazing! We had three tour guides, and they were all making sure that we were safe and had a great time! The hike is a little tiresome but once you get to the destinations it is worth every second!! Thank you Orlando and Brian for making this activity unforgettable!

It was the most amazing experience. Our tour guides were pecho and Jesus. They were so helpful. My sistrr had some trouble with the hike. They helped her and made sure she was ok. They never left anyone behind.They also gave lots of info about the rainforest along our hike. 10/10 experience! Do not hesitate to book!

This was the most amazing experience! Orlando and Chucky treated us like family and gave us the best tour ever. They were knowledgeable, witty, and so helpful and motivational getting us through the climb. I highly recommend this tour and you most definitely have to do it with Orlando and Chucky!

Me and my friends all had an absolutely incredible time. The staff (Orlando and chucky) were awesome to show us around. Would 100 percent recommend for people wanting to see gorgeous rainforest views and wanting to have a great time!

fun day in the rainforest

Our tour guide, Anthony, was extremely helpful. On the drive up, my group&i got separated and he patiently waited for us and was very helpful with directions. The views were absolutely spectacular, and my friends and I had a blast with the water sports.

Amazing tour with Fabian. He was really informative! 10/10 highly recommend! Beautiful rainforest and amazing spring water. Fabian even gave great recommendations for food after the tour.

Experience was great! Went with my family. It was a pleasure to have Antony as our guide who was very knowledgeable and gave clear instructions prior to starting, and during our hike which allowed those to catch their breathe that needed to. Would highly recommend.

The tour guide Anthony aka Tarzan was very informative, funny and helpful. El yunque is a very beautiful place that has been kept in it’s natural state. Highly recommend visiting el yunque.

Adventure!

Daniel was the best guide for this tour. He was very knowledgeable on the surrounding area. For being first timers with cliff jumping, he really ensured we were safe in addition to giving us the confidence to be more adventurous. He also walked the entire tour barefoot which ensured us he absolutely knew the entire lay of the land which was dope lol. Definitely wear a pair of water shoes or sneakers you don’t care about as they will be getting wet and muddy. We will absolutely be touring with this group again.

This was such an amazing tour! My husband and I went and had the time of our lives! Our tour guide Orlando and his partner made the hike even more awesome! Their humor, expertise and patience with the group were unmatched! We will definitely be requesting him when we come again! The best parts were definitely the natural slides! Very exhilarating!

My husband and I had a blast doing this tour on our visit to Puerto Rico! Our tour guide was Orlando and him and his partner were amazing! We would totally do this again and request him! He made this experience totally unforgettable!

SO. MUCH. FUN

I did some pretty cool stuff during my visit to PR, but this one took the cake. Adventure in the rain forest was my favorite! Its a must do and thrilling. You need a guide for this peice of paradise so you don't miss anything and John was amazing. Flora, Fauna, Waterfalls, Rock Slide, Rock Climbing, Hiking and that Beautiful River is Soul Food!

Very good experience ! Nice sensations and adrenaline if you do all the jumps and slides but still cool and accessible if you are not really into sports. Amazing views and really good guide Fabian 🙏👌

Amazing tour of El Yunque!

Amazing tour! Jon and Jhonsy were our guides and this was hands-down the best tour of El Yunque I’ve ever experienced! My family of 5 included two adults, one teenager, one tween, and a 7 year old. Every single one of us enjoyed it! We’re already looking forward to our next visit to PR so we could do this excursion again. Highly recommend it!

Taino King

We had Antonio, and what an experience. This Taino king met us by some wild roosters, lo and behold as soon as he emerged from his Toyota, they immediately settled down. Then off to the rain forest, the adventure began when we followed him up the mountain. First of all, his personality is amazing, but he’s also tall and very handsome. He guided us through the rainforest and I instantly felt safe, due to his knowledge and experience. As he walked us through explaining the beautiful forestry and history of PR, I was intrigued and mesmerized. Tarzan has nothing on this dread locked king as he would leap from mountain to mountain as he made sure we were safe. His video skills are instagram worthy. Then at the end of our tour, he enticed us to the rope swing where he held on with one hand and did a triple flip, Olympic worthy into the natural pool, where his golden dreadlocks glistened in the sun. Ten outta ten as we exited a fern fell from the tree and placed itself on his head like a crown. This man is a god send from the ancestors. Take this tour and ask for Antonio aka Anthony not Abdula

Best hiking tour!

This is a must go on tour. People can go by themselves but honestly I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s so much better having a tour guide to not only lead you to the fun spots but also to tell you about the fauna and flora. Our tour guide was Orlando and OMG he was amazing from beginning to end. He made sure we were always safe and also gave us a mini history of el yunque rainforest. After the trip he sent us a list of so many must see places and places to eat.

First time in PR and I must say el yunque is a must!! Be ready to get dirty/muddy, but it’s worth it. The water feels amazing. The slides and cliff jumps were super dope. Our tour guy Sebastian was super funny and made the experience more fun.

Our guide Daniel ( Pancho) was awesome, stopped along the way and gave history and info on plant life. Climbing to sliding, jump and rope swing were great. Water clean and comfortable. Great experience!!

A fun adventure!

So much fun! Our guides were great about taking photos of us throughout and helping us through the hike. We got to do a rope swing, clif jump and go down natural rock slides. My fiancé and I are both in our early 20s and atheletic, and it was fairly high in difficulty. My parents would not have been able to do this physically, as you are hiking in muddy areas and scaling rocks. But it was perfect for us!

Fantastic Experience

Anthony and Joel were our tour guides and we couldn’t have an a better experience. They were so friendly and extremely helpful and patient. They stopped to educate us on our environment. They made sure we were safe and enjoyed ourselves during the hike and while we were in the water. They even got some amazing photos and videos of our group. We 100% booking with them.

Highly recommend for a true adventure

The water was extremely clear and clean. Not only was the location beautiful and one of my highlights of my vacation but I also had a great tour guide named Fabian! Highly recommend to go with him as he’s a native speaks both English and Spanish fluently and is a great tour guide with all his jokes and knowledge!

We had an amazing time! The trail wasn't as challenging as expected, but proper footwear definitely made a difference. Just a tip for future adventures: make sure to wear sturdy shoes - no slippers or Crocs!

Orlando was our tour guy and he did a fantastic job he’s very outgoing and made the trip well worth it ! You can tell Orlando loves what he does he did an amazing job explaining and educating us about the rain forest.

Beyond amazing Excursion & tour guide

My family & I recently went on this excursion & our tour guide was Orlando. Orlando was absolutely beyond amazing and informative. He taught us a lot about the wild life & plants, as well as gave us a lot of great information about the history of Puerto Rico. He made the excursion lively & very fun & it wasn’t a single dull moment in any of it. When we come back and book future excursions we hope to have him as our tour guide again!

Alejandro was our guide and he did an excellent job of telling us the history of the rainforest as well as making sure no one felt rushed during the excursion. He let everyone go at their own pace and helped maintain an entertaining ambiance!

A disappointing rebook.

El Yunque Rainforest has beautiful waterfalls! We booked this tour with Spotin because we had a wonderful experience touring with them and our tour guide, Gian, last year! We decided to return this year so our sister could experience El Yunque, too. Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant experience this time. After making my reservation with them, I emailed the company with a few questions but got no response. The next communication we got from Spotin was a text sent at 5:30 am the morning of our tour with an updated and earlier departure time. They used a different bus, which was cramped and uncomfortable, especially given the bumpy ride the closer you get to the rainforest. When we got there, we noticed that the main path into the forest had been closed, so the hike was significantly more strenuous and risky. This wasn’t the problem. However, those of us who were at the end of the line got little to no help, and sadly, that was the pattern for the rest of the tour/hike. Fabian, who was supposed to be our tour guide, often proceeded with half of the group, leaving the remaining half to fend for themselves. On the hike back to the car lot, tour guides from other companies stopped to help 5 to 7 of us who were still navigating the hike, including older guests and people who needed more physical help because our tour guide had already made it to the parking lot. Although several of us barely made it down the extremely steep and slippery mud path, our bus was loaded and ready to go when we arrived. When we stopped for lunch, we were given a loose time frame to return but were not told how we would be notified that it was time to leave. Our food took longer to come even though we did all we could to speed up the process, including requesting it to-go instead of opting for dine-in. We knew it was time to go when we were signing the restaurant check and saw our driver bus driving away without us. No heads-up, nothing. We had to chase it and flag the driver down, who reluctantly stopped. There wasn’t a head count to ensure we all returned before the bus left. Another tour guide who paired up with Fabian (sadly, I don't remember his name) did his best to help the "2nd half" of the group when the others went ahead at different points during our visit. Although there were still points where we had to navigate the terrain without much guidance, he was the only redeemable part of our experience with Spotin this year. I left a glowing review last year because it was a wonderful experience. It’s rather unfortunate that we did not have the same experience again.
