Unique and fun way to explore Ensenada

Bryan made the trip extra special. He knew everything about Ensenada and really made the day great. We went to the Bufadora and it wasn't very active and not too exciting, but it didn't matter. We did some fun shopping at the market, are great tacos then Bryan shared many more ideas for other activities. He was extremely patient as we had no idea what we wanted to do with our day. We ended up riding horses on the beach for $30 each and having a great time. I would highly recommend this experience where you can figure it out as you go along. Many memories were made thanks to Bryan and his team!

Our tour guide, Brayan, was a personable, friendly, knowledgeable tour guide. We appreciated the information he shared with us. We rode in a very comfortable, air conditioned van. We were a family of 5 and we highly recommend!

Amazing experience at Bufadora!

Bryan was an excellent guide. He stayed with our group past 5 hours and took us to multiple restaurants to satisfy our taco cravings. He gave excellent advice on Bufadora and what all to look out for. Highly recommend the tour for a fun experience!

Brayan is the best tour guide in Ensenada

We had an unforgettable experience with our tour guide, Brayan, in Ensenada (La Bufadora tour)! He was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly personable, making our trip truly special. Brayan suggested fantastic stops, where the views were breathtaking. He also took us to an amazing taco spot that was a culinary highlight of our trip. One of the most memorable parts of our tour was visiting PaiPai Ecotourism Park (note that entry is extra), where we had the unique opportunity to hold and pet animals like monkeys and even tigers! Brayan's suggestions and expertise made our visit to Ensenada remarkable. Brayan speaks excellent English, almost like a native speaker, making communication effortless. Our only constructive feedback would be for the company to invest in a microphone, as it was sometimes hard to hear in the vehicle. A tip for fellow travelers: bring enough cash for tips (esp for your tour guide) and haggle for souvenirs at La Bufadora. We highly recommend Brayan for anyone looking for an extraordinary experience in Ensenada!

Fun!

Our guide had local knowledge and family. Excellent people and great service! We drove in our private car to El Bufadora and parked in front of the bathrooms and restaurant!

Wonderful day spent at La Bufadora!! Our tour guide (Gonzalo) was great!! He had lots of information about Ensenada and made this excursion extra special. Spent an hour or so shopping afterwards at the huge flea market next to La Bufadora. Lots of fun! Skip the ship excursion and get this private tour! Easy to meet up with the tour guide. Walk on the pedestrian path past the gates that lead to the Cruise Port. Then meet up at the glass building (which is actually a museum). Maybe a five minute walk. You can see the building from the Cruise ship. Highly recommend this one!!

Ensenada 5/2024

Bryan and Yoshrio are amazing!!! They take care of every little detail for your trip and make sure you are safe! 2nd time booking with them and can’t wait for the 3rd! Easy to meet at port and gets you back to the ship on time! Thank you so much for making our time in Ensenada PERFECT!

Slow and easy

We had a great experience on our Bufadora private tour. To start off, our guide was 10 minutes late to the pick up point. But we were called to let us know that they would be running late. Alejandra (Ally) was our guide. She was safe driver. She worked well with my parents who are in their 70’s and move a little slower. She helped us to find someone to braid my daughter’s hair. If we were looking for a specific item in the market she knew where to guide us. And she knew the owners well enough to help us get the best price. She also let us know what was an exceptable amount to pay and what was ridiculous. Ally helped us find a yummy and safe place to eat lunch. We never felt rushed and she let us take as long as we wanted. Thanks for helping us have a safe and fun trip to the Blowhole!

It was nice to have a private driver/guide. Bryan was very informative and guided us through our trip with ease. Brayan was phenomenal!

This tour was amazing and Brayan was phenomenal! He knew EVERYTHING about Ensenada: history, culture, geography, trivia, famous people, statistics, restaurants, culture, businesses, and on and on. He really treated us like family, sharing stories about his grandmother and family recipes, and even gave us information about where and how to buy souvenirs, etc., so we wouldn't be naive and get taken advantage of. He really looked out for us. The Bufadora was really interesting, as we assumed it would be, but we didn't expect Brayan to take us to so many places and tell us so much about the area. He went above and beyond, and we would recommend him to everyone!

Brian did an absolute amazing job on our tour, he helped us with the ins and outs of bargaining with the shops at La Bufadora as well as which ones had the best deals. Brian was with us the whole tour!

Best tour guide ever!!

Brayan was amazing! First, our port day was changed and he was able to accommodate us. He told us all about Ensenada and the history of the town on our drive to La Bufadora. He told us the best places to eat and shop. We had an amazing time. Also, he went out of his way to take us tequila shopping after our tour. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!

A great way to see Ensenada

We had Brian as our tour guide, and he was an amazing guide for my family! He really knows the area super well and customizes your tour to what you want to do and see. It felt like we were visiting an old family friend, and he was taking us around his hometown. Definitely ask him to take you to his favorite ceviche place because that was the biggest highlight for us. Thank you, Brian!

First visit to Ensenada, Mexico

Meeting our host Brayan was the start of the most wonderful tour experience we have had. We didn't realize we had a private tour until Brayan greeted us. He asked what we wanted to see and do. We explained we had never been to Ensenada; could he give us the Bufadora Tour and show us the highlights of Ensenada. He asked us our time frame and came up with a wonderful tour. He is very knowledgeable of the area. Right off we determined we were all cat lovers. He told us about the fabulous big cat sanctuary. Due to our time limit, we were unable to stop there. He stopped at several beautiful locations for picture taking opportunities and told us significant details about the locations. He took us on an escorted walk through the business district of the Bufadora area. He is acquainted with all the vendors. It felt like a walk through a neighborhood. We were also able to see another cat sanctuary. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful blow hole. On the way back to the ship, he continued the tour showing us the various neighborhoods and telling us their history. We also discussed the cuisine of Mexico. He suggested some restaurants, but we didn't have time. Brayan is a very nice person and a wonderful guide. He knows Ensenada and the Baja peninsula very well. We would highly recommend him to family and friends. Thank you for a fabulous first time visit to Ensenada. Hope to see you next time.

Great experience!!

Alex was awesome. She is very fluent in English, explained all the places on the journey and took care of all our needs on the way. This is a completely private tour guide, the car and guide was assigned only to our family, compared to bus load of tourist by the shore excursion deals by cruise ship. She also gave us an extra scenic tour in addition to the itinerary. We definitely recommend this trip and request for Alex for your tour guide.

Alex was amazing! She told us about the area as she drove us, and walked with us to see the Bufadora. She even stopped at an outlook for us to take photos of the the vista. She was familiar with all the shops near the Bufadora, and helped us find what we wanted. She was friendly and patient with my elderly father. We highly recommend! Thank you, Alex!

City Tour and La Bufadora

Bryan is our guide and he is so knowledgeable. We had a good time with our city Tour. He guide us and helped us where to go to buy a really good Tequila. He also took us where to get a good pozole. Overall we’re very satisfied with our private tour and we highly recommend Bryan for doing such an excellent job. Thank again Bryan.

Fab time in Ensenada Mexico. La BufadorA

we all shared a great tour with Erik Morales as our tour guide From ship to La Bufadora is 20 miles. about 45 minutes. Lots of Shops . Be prepared to bargain . Walk to Bufadora first and ask guide for tips. The Blow hole is interesting Spend at least 10 minutes there taking photos. if u need meds stop @ Del Mar. There are 3 of them. Very special driving up mountain. . Ask driver to stop at Tacos del Original on way back for lunch. Absolutely Fab and clean…..,

Excellent and Thoughtful Tour & Amazing Guide

Brian was an amazing guide! He promptly called to confirm the port pickup location, and we met him without any difficulty. We had a wonderful day at La Bufadora and the flea market. Plus, Brian offered great suggestions on other things available to do while in Ensenada. But by far, my favorite part was our interesting conversations about Mexico, the region, and culture in general. I highly recommend this tour company and don't forget to request Brian!

Amazing tour with an amazing guide

Brian and Eric were amazing!! Would definitely recommend and book again with this group. Eric was at the cruise pier for us and took our group safely around. He really took great care of us.

Best Tour Ever!

This is a really great tour. We had Eric and he was AWESOME!!! Second time around for me, so I had to bring the family. We had the best time. Will do this tour again on our next visit.

My wife and I went to La Bufadora. We were pleasantly surprised that the "private tour" was just us. My wife has walking issues. Bryan went out of his way to accommodate us.

Highly Recommended Tour

We had a great time doing this Private Bufadora tour. Brayan was our tour guide and he was awesome and made us comfortable right from the beginning. He was very knowledgeable and made our tour very memorable. We book this tour while we are on our 5 Day NCL Bliss Cruise. The meeting point was a short 5-10 minute walk from the port. Book this tour instead of booking it thru the Cruise line and save money. We will definitely book this again on our next Cruise and request Brayan as our tour guide again.

Very interesting.

Guide was helpful and accommodating. Took good care of us. Finding the meeting place was difficult the description too vague. Took us 30 mins to find the car. Needs to be more specific. Ie front of building, back of buildings, side of building, near the steps etc etc would have helped. Having anna4 sign in the car would help!! But still a great trip!!!

Amazingly unexpected

This was absolutely the best time we have ever had in Ensenada. We were expecting a boring trip up to the market then back but our tour guide Bryan not only gave us a very personal tour but recommended additional things to do and took us there. On our way to La Bufadora we stopped and got a one hour experience with tigers (additional cost), spent time shopping in the la bufadora market, then he took us to his favorite taco spot where we had amazing Mexican tacos for an affordable low cost. Every tip he gave helped us have an amazing experience on an affordable budget. We only had one day available to visit since we were in a cruise but it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We will definitely use this company again.

It was a very good experience! Our tour guide Alejandra was amazing drove us around all day. We saw the beautiful sights. She even stopped anywhere we wanted to stop!

Great tour group and guide!!

This was an excellent tour of Ensenada. Our tour guide Brian called me 20 minutes before to confirm where to go and we loaded a comfortable van for trip. Although the tour was titled LaBufadora and shopping, Brian was willing to customize with whatever we liked. He made some suggestions and once he had a better idea of what we liked, took us to some beautiful scenic places. He walked with us through shopping to LaBufadora to ensure we had no difficulties with shopping and gave us tips. Made us feel so comfortable and no pressure for anything. He was willing to stop anywhere for however long we wanted. I never felt unsafe, in fact i felt more comfortable to enjoy the experience. I would definitely recommend this tour group and hope you have the pleasure of meeting Brian and letting him show you around!

A nice way to spend 4 hours in Encenada.

It was my husband and I who took this tour. It was a very relaxing destination.. It was a very short walk from the pier to the Museum Las Coracoles and the car driver was in front of the museum with the placard with our names on it. It was a private tour, the driver asked us how much time we want to spend at La Bufadora. He pointed out to us what to see, where to eat and where we would be picked up. It was about 50 minuted drive to and from La Bufadora. We looked at the geyser, had a snack, bought some suvenirs. About four hours tour. The driver was very curteous. We recomment this tour.

If you have more than...

If you have more than five people, don’t reserve a local travel agency due to to the car having not enough space for riding. You can have cruise’s operating bus at front of the cruise i at Ensenada port.

Alejandro was amazing!

Alejandro was amazing. He took us to the Paipai (his suggestion) animal conservatory, which was really cool. Lots of interactive opportunities with wildlife. Feeding the tigers and the birds, and monkeys was great and the petting zoo was nice. Then he took us to la bufadora and gave insights along the way. When we got there the huge group of shops, restaurants and pharmacies and attendant vendor Cat calling us were a little overwhelming, but Alejandro helped us navigate that and even helped us negotiate. At the bufadora he got us through the crowd and to the best spot to view the giant splash. I expected 2 hours in and out and we spent a total of 6 hours with Alejandro, and I never felt like he was in a hurry or annoyed. I was so glad we did the private tour!

More than expected!

Alex was amazing! Very friendly and very knowledgeable. She got us to the buffadora safely and gave us tips on where to purchase specific items we were looking for. She gave us a tour through the central area and made a final stop for an amazing view of the port and Ensenada. Overall a great experience!

Bufadora Tour

My husband and I were met just a few steps outside the cruise terminal. We had a private tour which was absolutely wonderful as we avoided the bus tour crowds!! Our tour guide and awesome driver was Alex. Her patience and knowledge was a plus!! Highly recommend this tour. We loved it! Gracias Alex!!

Best Private tour ever La Bufadora & More

I made a reservation for a private La Bufadora tour on Viator for a group of 6 seniors in Ensenada. We were coming from a cruise ship.. We were meet by Bryan and right away we all felt very comfortable with him. He provided lots of information while we were traveling to the blow hole. The do’s and don’ts about the flea market. 1st stop was tacos at Lydia’s (yummy), tequila tasting, churros, shopping, blow hole. I had a list things I wanted to see and so and he made sure we got everything done and arranged for a friend to take us all the way back to the ship, which we appreciated very much. I can’t recommend this company enough. Great customer service…I will be booking with them again next time I’m in Ensenada.

Best guide ever

We were so lucky/blessed to have Bryan as our guide(I’d read about him on trip advisor).. Anyway he was as good as advertised; made our two couples feel safe and he was so knowledgeable about where to go and how to get the best out of our trip. Sitting at Lydia’s eating our food, which was delicious we watched as the ship’s tour buses departed and it looked like such a canned experience. With Bryan we were treated to a trip that he catered to our wants or needs with whatever add-on we could of reasonably wanted. We went to La Bufadora and shopped at the shops Bryan knew would be fair and with good quality. We then drove to have delicious Mariscos at a wonderful spot Bryan knew of, while we were there Bryan slipped off and returned with a wonderful small cake with candles included for the birthday girl in our group, we wrapped up our trip with a good Mezcal tasting and we’re able to purchase wine in Ensenada which is one of the best known wine regions in North America. Our group was so happy that we got Bryan’s info for our next time back

Ensenada Tour

Brian was amazing. He took us all over, even to horseback riding on the beach (which we didn’t know we could do) (and was only $25 for quiet pleasant experience) and then to la bufadora and several other spots, all included on the private tour. We loved it ! He gave us a lot of tips (including bargaining tips) and provided a lot of helpful insight into the city!

Great and Informative day in Ensenada!

We had a great day! Brian was an awesome tour guide. His English was as good as ours! We were able to take a side trip to PaiPai, which was great! The animals are very well taken care of and NOT drugged to make them more passive...La Bufadora was fun and the open air market had many great finds! Brian shared his knowledge about "negotiating" with the shop keepers and the best places to purchase certain items. He also got "bonus points" for asking for extra tequilla in my mango margarita!! This booking was well worth the money!!

Brian was our driver, his car was clean, spacious, and had great air conditioning. He let us know of different places to visit. He took us to the blow hole and walked us through the venders. He helped translate for us when shopping and took us to a great taco spot. We felt safe, and highly recommended this company.
