Awesome tour

Ritchie was a wonderful guide to have on this trip, he made it so much fun! Tour was lovely going through the mountains, really liked how much stops we took on this particular trip, it’s very a long day with lots of driving. Guide was patient, knowledgeable, and made the experience super fun.

Highland cows

Karen gave us a great variety of experiences and is knowledgeable about Scottish history. We did have some confusion of where to meet. Karen did her best to accommodate sitting preferences fairly. Not any easy task. Very happy with my choice of tour. She deleted versed Highland cows!

I guess 5 is as high as they let us! Andrew was our guide and we can’t wait to book with him and Experience Scotlands Wild again. Gaelic words, history, nature, and overall a great experience. You can tell Andrew loves his country and his job. It made us love it too. We had been on another tour with a different company and you could tell the guide was just going through the motions. Andrew made it personable, got to know us, personally, and made us laugh through out! We are hikers and nature lovers at heart, but were nervous to take on Scotland without having a taste first, so we went with this company. We absolutely loved getting out of the van (8 people), walking through the woods, and learning about the local nature. We were even taken to windy, windy, windy place, which is what I expected for Scotland! So awesome. Andrew picked up a bag of potatoes for us while we were on the boat cruise, which he then gave to us to feed the highland cows. We were taken to a few other places on top of our itinerary for photo ops and a whisky tasting. We ended the day back at our pick up about 30 minutes late, but I would much rather have it be that way instead of early! P.S. Andrew played us his favorite song at the end and sang… it was the highlight of the trip even if he can’t sing.

Wonderful Experience and Great Tour!

Honestly, one of the best tours to book. I see why it's such a popular one and our tour guide, Andrew, was wonderful and funny. Very knowledgeable at every stop we made. Was very accommodating with our group as well and genuinely strived to make sure that all of us were doing well throughout the tour. I would definitely book more future tours with Scotland's Wild in a heartbeat.

Andrew deserves 10 stars - what a great day.

Andrew was great from the start…. He kept everyone upbeat and laughing along with storytelling and facts/info about our surrounding areas. We couldn’t have asked for a better day with a better guide.

Loch Ness tour

Colin, our tour guide was fantastic and very easy to understand. My only complaint would be it was sometimes difficult for the people in the third row to hear because on the loud rattle in the back door on the can.

Good choice for solo travellers

As a solo traveller I decided to visit the highlands with a small group - and I am glad I did. Guide Karen created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. She not only told us nice stories about the history of Schotland, but alsoointroduced us to Scottish music in between the stops. Had a great day.

Highlight of our trip!

My dad and I were so glad we booked this trip. We both hate those big cattlecall bus tours, so I searched for something similar to what me and my husband experienced on our honeymoon in New Zealand - the smallest group size possible with lots of nature walks and NOT the price of a private tour. Richie E. was an AMAZING guide- funny and thoughtful and full of stories. We loved seeing the majesty of Glen Coe, walking in a nature preserve under trees, and seeing peat bogs and of course meeting some highland coos (I got to feed one. What a charmed life those coos live, getting pats and food from cooing tourists!) Richie let us all swap seats regularly so everone go a chance up front in his clean, comfy vehicle. His taste in music was tops - goofy Scottish bagpipe covers, Scottish comedy songs, and then some early Shirley Manson. Richie's got great taste in rock! Really appreciated his history stories and perspective on living in Scotland. Also there was a shot of whisky and a taste of Irn Bru and Scottish snacks. How thoughtful! We were glad no one in our group wanted to go on the Loch Ness boat ride, so we were able to visit a distillery instead. Dad and I would've forgone Loch Ness altogether and wish there was a similar Glen Coe tour without it. It's just a huge, dull tourist trap for a regular ol' lake. 15 minutes would've been plenty compared to the other sites we saw. On the drive back, we passed by Stirling Castle and the Wallace monument in the distance, as well as the Kelpies. And the weather was luckily perfect, unlike the day before. We really feel we saw so much of Scotland in a long, twelve hour day. Pick-up and drop-off were super easy. Can't recommend Scotlands Wild enough and Richie E. in particular!

Amazing trip

Best. Tour. Ever.

This tour had absolutely everything we were looking for and our tour guide Richie was phenomenal!!! The tour was beautifully planned out and we really got to see the most amazing parts of Scotland including Loch Ness, Glencoe, and some very adorable Highland Coos. Thanks Richie for your amazing storytelling, fantastic energy, and great sense of humour! It was definitely my favourite day spent in Scotland and I would 1000% recommend this tour AND Richie as a guide. Thanks so much for the amazing experience!!

Great nature walks off the beaten track

We had a great time with Karen! She was very knowledgeable and funny, she made the tour interactive and we have learned a lot from each other. I highly appreciated the nature walks - nature in Scotland has so much to offer in any season. We discovered a few nice places off the beaten track, it was well worth it!

Amazing experience

Richard was an amazing guide. Very informative, entertaining and kind. We really enjoyed our day trip with him and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Scotland. The places and views we visited or drove past were all breathtaking!

Excellent and interactive tourguide!

We booked the 1 day trip to highlands, lochness and glencoe with Mr Chris. We are very grateful fland happry for the tourguide of this guy, he was so clarifying, satisfying and patient with us. His company was really cool and very kind. We would surely choose him when we are back to Scotland.

10/10 Plesiosaurs

I have been on this trip 3 times and there's a reason I would absolutely go on a 4th....It's incredible! The locations are breathtaking; amazing every time and the guides (shoutout to Owen, traffic cone enthusiast) are knowledgeable & friendly. If you want some wilderness, history, and a glimpse of Nessie this is the perfect day tour from Edinburgh.

Outstanding!

A great tour! You do not only see Loch Ness and Glencoe, but stop at many different places along the route. The guide Owen was great, very friendly and very good at telling you facts and fiction about people and places.

Best 300 mile trip!!

We had beautiful weather to enjoy all of the amazing scenery. Our guide Karen was very knowledgeable and made this a very pleasant experience. We listened to good music too while driving to different destinations. Would definitely do again!

It was an outstanding experience our Loch Ness, Glencoe and Highlands Tour, a full-day where we explored the main highlights of the region and were amazed by the beauty of it all. Owen was super friendly, helpful and explained several details about Scotland's history! At the end of the day, he shared with us some recommendations to take the most out of our stay in Edinburgh! The van was very comfortable and the playlist brought magic to our journey. Overall it was a great experience, and for sure we want to repeat!

A must for your time in Scotland!!

Laura truly went above and beyond for our tour and even added a couple beautiful spots for us to see. She was not only a great tour guide but also a great example of the amazing people who love Scotland and want to share it with others. Glencoe is definitely somewhere I will never forget! Will definitely work with Scotlands Wild if we ever come back for a longer tour next time!

This tour left me in awe with desire to come back to Scotland ASAP. Chris was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and great to chat with! We lucked out with such beautiful weather. Loved every minute of the trip. The only thing to be mindful about on this tour is that there are a lot of windy roads, so take Dramamine and you’ll be fine!

Lovely day trip in Caledonia

Shout out to our tour guide Cal for the best day trip in Scotland! He was funny (kept us laughing all day), warm, very knowledgeable and even had great taste in music fitting for the sights and landscape. I have an extremely stressful job, so it was so nice to have an entire worry-free day where everything was taken care of. Aside from the gorgeous views of the land and its history, it's rivers, trees, rainy skies and mist covered mountains, my favorite part was feeding carrots to the sweetest Highland cow named Honey <3. Thanks again for the loveliest day to remember in Bonnie Scotland. I will always have Caledonia in my heart now <3 <3

Great tour in a truly Scottish weather

We did the Loch Ness and Highlands tour with Calum and it was amazing! The scenery is breathtaking, it was rainy and a bit foggy during some parts of the day but Calum was great, he gave us a lot of great backstories from all the spots and did all the stops possible, we even got to see the famous highland coos!! It’s definitely worth it no matter the weather. We will come back for summer to go on longer tours for sure.

100/10 tour!

My wife and I would give this tour a 100/10. Everything from Owen the guide, to the van, to the unbelievable scenery was perfect from start to finish. Owen was entertaining and knowledgeable and I would recommend everyone do this tour. If we ever come back to Scotland, we will definitely be doing another tour with Experience Scotland’s Wild!

The highlight of our Scottish vacation!

Our tour guide Craig was fantastic!! It was the highlight of our Scottish vacation! He was very informative and his personality meshed with my husband’s perfectly. The views were incredible especially Glencoe.

Saw heaps of things and sites especially the highlands. Chris our driver and guide was pleasant and laid back. Kept us informed of what we are seeing, the history behind it. Ve to y knowledgeable. I would happily do another tour with this company.

Spectacular Scenery

What a marvelous way to see the Highlands in a short amount of time! The small group tour was definitely to our advantage as well because this can allow some flexibility as to how much time is a spent at each stop. Our guide was Owen and he was humorous and entertaining and he also shared quite a bit of historical and cultural knowledge of the region. Tip: Dress in layers for this trip as the highlands weather can change on a dime. Sunny one minute and cold, windy and drizzly the next, but definitely we’ll worth the visit! The Sun and rain actually provided many different rainbows to appear during the drive. Enjoy the trip and after the tour be sure to go warm up in a pub with some Haggis Neeps and Tatties and pint of your favorite Scottish brew!

Beautiful and diverse Scotland

I was really happy how much you could see during one day. My absolute favorite was stopping by the Three sisters at Glencoe. And our guide Owen, he was a walking history book!!! The amount of knowledge he had about Scotlands history is awesome.

Although I am touristic group type Scotland‘s Wild appealed to me and I booked. Great decision, great Organisation, great guide Owen. Probably the best!

Awesome

It was a great tour, not just seeing Loch Ness & Glencoe but also the little stops around the way. Craig was an awesome guide, who entertained us with stories about Robert the Bruce, the dark history of the Glencoe & a lot of other trivia along the way. One highlight was right at the end, meeting a herd of highland cows. Definitely do this tour if you want to get a taste of the Highlands!

TRULY DISAPPOINTED

The #1 thing I wanted to do in Scotland on my once in a lifetime trip was see Loch Ness but thanks to booking thru this company, we did not get to go! We were to meet at 7:45 am. At 7:06 am we get a text stating that our driver called out sick and they were unable to get another driver on time. They offered to move our trip two days from now but we will no longer be in Scotland by then. While I commiserate with the sick driver, I am furious that the company did not offer to start a little later so they could find another driver or that they did not try to get us in with a different company so we could still go. A truly professional company should have emergency backup plans!!!! I am so disappointed!

Highly recommend

Craig was a wonderful guide. He was full of history and fun facts and made the trip very entertaining. It is a long day (12 hour trip) and you are riding for most of the day, but there are so many beautiful sights seen and picture taking opportunities along the way. I would highly recommend. Craig kept our time in the van full of laughs and made the time fly by.

Take this Highland tour

Amazing tour. Craig was incredible, nothing but a fun, good time. This tour is the best way to visit the Highlands.

Falsely advertised

There were 12 sites listed and we only saw four or five, and multiple short walks or short hikes and we only did one of them. There was no speaker or anything to amplify the narration and I was sitting in the back of the van so couldn't hear anything about the sites as we passed by.

Great fun, small group!

We really enjoyed the nature hikes during the tour - much appreciated breaks between drives. Owen was our guide and had a great personality and was fun to listen to. I highly recommend the small van route in touring the Highlands - so much better opportunity to interact with others on the tour. Loved getting to visit with a few Highland Cows!

A roadtrip through the highlands with seven new friends

On my second day in Scotland, this was a great introduction to the country and the Highlands. The small group setting was intimate & our excellent tour guide & driver Craig chatted with us about far-ranging topics including history, economics and art. He even gave some great recommendations for other things to do during my trip. We took two short walks & the Hermitage was especially beautiful. The sights throughout were lovely! Not even the pouring rain could dampen the magnificence of the Three Sisters in Glencoe.

Highland area is beautiful a must see!

Loch Ness area was so beautiful! We got to see the nature side of Scotland in the Highlands and many beautiful, walking trails and national parks.

Don't come to Scotland without seeing the highlands...please!

We had a great time with Owen our tour guide! This is a great way to cover a lot of land in just one day! I would definitely do it again and recommend it to others. The highlands of Scotland are just unbelievably beautiful and being able to go with a guide who's kind, informative, and excited to show us Scotland helps make a trip like this smooth and fun. Amazing tour of Scotland's beauty

We loved this tour! Our guide, Chris, shared numerous interesting facts about the area and the sights were beautiful. Even though it was a long day, it was definitely worth it to see the waterfalls at the Hermitage, take a boat cruise on Loch Ness, and do some small hikes in Cairngorm National Park and the Trossachs. Amazing! Special shout out to Chris - he gave us plenty of opportunities to get out, take in the scenery, ask questions, get snacks, etc. His pace for our entire trip was on point, and it made the whole tour feel like a relaxing road trip with friends. Highly recommend!

Perfect intro to the Highlands

A long day, but we’ll worth it. I am not sure what I would take out of this day. It opened my eyes to so much I had not seen or heard about on pervious visits. Calum was an excellent guide who not only knew how to convey complicated history but was also sensitive to his guests needs. I would go with him again.
