The Highlands and loch ness without nessy

The tour was vari good. We had a fantastic driver/guide and her name is Emily. The Highlands and them lake are wonderfull and peacefull. We didn't see the monster of loch ness but it's good.

Amazing views though it rained most of the day. The choice of lunch could have been better but we enjoyed the scenic beauty. Our tour guide was full of stories.

Excellent Tour!

Amazing tour to Loch Ness! Our driver was so talented navigating the narrow roads of the Highlands and very entertaining with stories and history of the area. She even had a great Scottish band playlist for the drive. She found excellent photo spots along the way to stop at, too! Great tour! #Laurie'sTheBest

Everything was well organised, and the guide, Lara, was very nice and knowledgeable!! It was a very fun and unforgettable experience!

A must do if visiting Scotland!

You can check the itinerary to see that this tour includes a lot of time on the road, but that’s what you sign up for when you go on the tour and the wait is absolutely worth it. Chris was a fantastic and informative guides with lots of good suggestions. I also suggest purchasing the Loch Ness cruise so you can see the sights and learn about the years of research done at the site.

Fantastic day

Great one day bus trip. Packed full of interesting history and information and our tour guide Dusty kept us all very entertained. Was stunning getting to stop off at plenty of important and beautiful sites - and lunch on the shores of Loch Ness was lovely.

Amazing way to spend your day!

This trip was so much fun. Our driver, Dusty, was hilarious and so knowledgeable of Scottish history. I learned so much about the country and really enjoyed all the commentary as well as the music played. The views were beautiful and so worthwhile. I highly recommend this bus tour for anyone who wants to explore and discover more of Scotland!

Exhausting but worth it!

Dusty was an excellent guide- funny and knowledgeable. I felt safe and learned a lot. The views were spectacular and I felt that it was worth every penny. Bring snacks!

Lovely circuit

An incredible day spent under gentle sunshine, brilliantly led by our guide Noah! The stops were frequent and long enough to allow us to take photos, enjoy the scenery, have a meal... The only comment I have to make concerns lunch: the bread was so dry that Loch Ness almost witnessed a death by choking. I'm joking, exaggerating like Shakespeare's troupe, but the bread was really dry and we didn't have any water.

Day trip to the highland to always remember!

It was a great experience! Definitely worth the price and time invested! It is travel very far from Edinburgh and a great opportunity to see the north of country, hear about Scotland history and culture and have an experience to never forget! I simply recommend this if you have the chance, it would not be a regret!

Loch Ness

The views were amazing, since we left Edinburgh we were amazed by the places we were passing by. There are a some stops to relax, but some souvenirs and take a walk and of course some pictures. The lunch was delicious, and the tour at the Loch Ness was great. Noah, our bus driver, was funny, knew a lot of facts and information about everywhere we went and made us all interested on what he was saying. Definitely would recommend.

We made it!

Well that’s not a trip I’ll forget any time soon! Charlie was an amazing guide and kept spirits high despite having to wait for a replacement bus after a stationary accident caused by another bus meant we lost our wing mirror. The whole experience was overall a great day and we still made it to Loch Ness even with the delay, although Charlie’s telling of the myths and legends was the tour highlight. I look forward to doing another highland explorer tour in the future!

the tour was alot of fun even with a couple bus getting de-mirrrored problems but charlie the tour guide was amazing through all of it and I would join them again

Excellent guide and interesting tour!

Charlie was the best guide we could have had. Things happened that were out of their control but they were able to keep it light and humorous. The tour could have been better without the delay but was great overall thanks to Charlie.

Lovely experience thanks to Dusty & Jenny

Went on this tour in early June and had a fantastic time thanks to the expert guides Dusty & Jenny. Both were full of knowledge and humour and kept us on time! The tour stopped at the major points in the Highlands and is well worth going on. Thank you very much to the company, and especially Dusty & Jenny for such a wonderful tour!

Dusty and Jennie were amazing! Very knowledgeable and kind! Jennie went out of her way to ask where we were from(Kentucky) and she was very knowledgeable about our area from the USA. She knew more about horse racing and the Kentucky Derby than i did. We were very impressed. Dusty’s driving skills are top notch! Would highly recommend this tour!!!

Wisdom on wheels!

Graeme was a really great guide! Loved his sense of humor! We followed the advice of reviews, brought snacks! The little lunch was good too! Highly recommend a pint at the Legion in Ft Augustus! Nice restroom, WiFi and comfortable, quiet, seating! Open to public! It is a long day!

Heidi is a wundervull lovely woman, we had a great tour with her. She has a bright knowledge round about the highlands and the Loch Ness. The sandwiches wasn‘t my taste. Love yu heidi

An absolute must

This was my second tour with this company & I can honestly say I will never use any other in Edinburgh! This trip was as amazing as expected. Ryan- our guide; was fantastic. Engaging from the word go, knowledgeable on every question we could throw at him, and passionate about everything with a stellar sense of humor. His suggestions were top notch i.e. whiskey ice cream. Loch Ness was stunning, the cruise is 100% worth it. -bucket list item: ✅ These tours show you more of the country in one day than you could possibly see on your own in multiple. I will always suggest this group to everyone.

Great tour!

Our guide, Ryan, was great, and I enjoyed his history lessons. The highlands were so magically beautiful. Loch Ness was a bit chilly and windy, but very interesting and fun to go out on the water. A long day, but definitely worth it! The hairy coos were so fun to see as well!

Highland tour and Loch Ness boat ride.

Great day out! Beautiful scenery, and a comfortable journey! Our tour guide Ryan was lovely and informative, and even took us to see some highland coos. The boat ride around Loch Ness is worth it, otherwise not tons to do in the area.

Brilliant day very enjoyable!

Very enjoyable day trip. Our guide and driver Connor was a brilliant storyteller and very knowledgeable about Scottish history. Breathtaking scenery of the highlands was definitely a highlight of the journey. Unfortunately we had our fair share of “liquid sunshine” which started as we were about to board the boat on Loch Ness but it was great day nevertheless.

A must-do! A great way to kick off a trip to Loch Ness and Scottish Highland. Our guide Mr Noah was very knowledgeable and friendly and he told us all about the different areas we visited (Glencoe, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Phitlochry). Highly recommended

I had a great tour with our guide (Heidi I believe) she was informative and kind and quite fun! She made the most of a rainy day which I appreciate.

Loved every moment of it. The Highland's are so pretty. Also the folk tales are something to remember. The weather did play a part but hey it was worth it. Especially the Whiskey Icecream.

The most uncomfortable 7 hour bus ride of my life

Driver was great. Scenery so cool At all cost avoid the back seat. It does not hold 5 adults. 7 hours of uncomfortable, back breaking driving. Kids may be ok. So angry that I paid the same price as all the people who could enjoy the drive

Best Highlands 1-day tour

Great day with Connor, knowledgeable about Scottish history and fun random facts. This is definitely inline with other reviewers who found the drivers very personable. A 12+ hour round trip felt like 4, so enjoyable with stops at the right time and comfy accommodation.
