Fantastic combination of Outlander and Scotland highlights

A fantastic tour with Rabbies. We had William as our tour guide and bus driver. It was a great blend of Outlander locations as well as seeing more of Scotland. We booked our own hotels so knew what we were booked for in advance. Others on our trip booked via Rabbies and there was different types of accommodation depending on what you preferred. the pace is very good, enough time each day to enjoy the location stops and meal breaks. The trip was good for us as we were hiring a car following the tour and we actually went back to a couple of the places at our leisure.

Great Outlander Tour

This tour has 2 days of viewing film production sites and 2 days of Scottish history. Our guide & driver, Martin, was very knowledgeable and added a few extra hiking stops which were enjoyable. The only complaint that I have is the lack of communication between my local travel agent and Rabbies. For instance, I was never provided with information on the hotels that were booked for Inverness and Fort Williams and had to obtain the information from Martin. Also, I never received a detailed daily itinerary which would have been useful for daily planning. I recommend this tour for anyone interested in the history and filming of Outlander.

Unreal tour and tour guide (Simon)!!

This tour was absolutely amazing, we would do it all over again, truly recommend it! Also we had the best tour guide ever - Simon is absolutely incredible and provided us with the best experience possible!!

Memory of a lifetime

What can I say about this most amazing tour?!!! Our guide, Simon, is a true Outlander fan who also has tremendous knowledge of the history of Scotland and the Jacobite risings. He was able to point out the areas of Outlander filming in the various stops. Not only was this an Outlander tour, but we gained so much knowledge of Scotland. All the stops were wonderful to visit and he took excellent care of us. We would definitely take another tour with Simon. He simply was the best!

Totally enjoyable experience.

A great day led by an extremely informative and funny driver "Al". The tour was good and the banter and history from Al was even better.. Our party thoutoughly enjoyed our day.

Great Experience, Trip of a Lifetime

I cannot recommend this tour more! This was seriously the trip/tour of a lifetime. Our guide was Graham, and he was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. We were all big fans of the show and I was worried that we’d get a guide who wasn’t familiar. Boy was I wrong! Graham was clearly a fan of the show and incredibly knowledgeable about everything that happened and where. He took us to some really amazing, off the beaten path places that were related to the real life Frasers and Mackenzies. It was so cool! The scenery is obviously amazing as well. Even in the cloudy rain, Glenco is one of those places you just have to see with your own eyes. I feel like i got lucky with fellow passengers too. Everyone was so nice and I didn’t feel ‘alone’ at all, even though I was a solo traveler. We had folks from all over the world, and it was fun having this fandom in common. :-) The Rabbie’s van was comfy and I liked that Graham didn’t over-program us each day. I think had we done 12 hr days each day we would’ve been too tired to enjoy it. It was absolutely perfect. Not only did Graham entertain us with stories of Scotland, the locations of Outlander and had a fun sense of humor, he also had a perfect playlist featuring Scottish folk singers and pipers mixed with outlander music and all matched our surroundings and sites. He also helped find us some highland hairy coos, which made us all very happy! It was just perfect. Amazing! You should do this tour. Note: I booked my own hotels. One was great, the other not so much.

Rabbie's Refund Policy

We were so looking forward to our Outlander tour with Rabbie's. The day before the scheduled tour, I became very ill and tested positive for Covid. My husband called to cancel, but Rabbie's refused to refund our payment. We didn't cancel due to changing our minds about the tour, we cancelled because I was too sick to go on tour, and thought it unethical to expose our guide and the other guests to the virus. Doing the right thing can be expensive.

Top ten in my life of most beautiful things I have scene

We took my Mom on her dream vacation through Scotland. This included the Outlander tour. Our driver was William Drummond. We consider ourselves lucky and better off for having him as our driver and guide. The tour was excellent and William improved it with his vast knowledge of history and his endearing dad jokes! He made the most of our tour with his knowledge of the area, when to stop, his amazing driving and great timing. My mom is a die hard Outlander fan and I was worried it would be so specific to the show the rest of us may struggle to stay engaged. We were amazed, William was not only knowledgeable about those things which made it great for her, he knew so much about Scottish history that it made it fun and fascinating for us as well. Great driver, great guide and great time! Scotland is a truly majestic place and William made us love her all the more! Scots have a lot to be proud of in the untouched beauty of their land, the way they work together to preserve their gift, their friendly nature and their willingness to share it with the people lucky enough to visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Fabulous Four Day Outlander Tour

A fantastic four day’s traveling through the Highlands with an amazing Rabbies tour guide Jim Divine! What a treat! His knowledge of Scottish history was incredible and his enthusiasm and attention to detail made the experience more memorable. With his passion for photography he took us to the best spots for our photo opportunities and he even made sure we had a super group photo on our last day to remember our fellow travelers. The scenery was awesome and being on a small bus enabled us to visit historic sites that the larger buses can’t reach. The accommodation in Inverness at Ardmeanach House was also very good I thoroughly recommend Rabbies for your small coach tours!

Wonderful tour and guide

I had the best time on this tour. Jim Divine was my guide and he was FANTASTIC. Not only did I get to see a lot of the sights from Outlander, but Jim's knowledge of Scottish history and the Highlands was incredible and very educational. He also is a photographer and knew all the best spots to get wonderful pictures and even helped us frame the shots to get the best results. I was nervous about joining a tour as I have never done so. The group size was perfect and luckily we all got along. I also got time to wander off on my own- how I am used to traveling. I fell in love with the Highlands and cannot wait to go back. Rabbie's of course will be the company I use to tour with again.

4-Day Outlander Tour

Jim Divine was our driver, and he made this tour great. We learned a lot about Outlander and the history of Scotland from Jim. He was conscientious, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

Hunting for Claire and Jamie

We are visiting Scotland for 3 weeks and booked several tours through Rabbies. We did not know what to expect but we had read many reviews so I was pretty confident that it would be fine. Well, it was more than fine, it was outstanding. This was a 3 night 4 day tour on a mini bus with a total of 15 people including the driver! Our guide, Ray MacDonald, aka not quite Jamie, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, informative, friendly and helpful. He made lots of stops in between the tour highlights which really made the trip even more interesting. He was also funny and cheerful and told many great stories about history, legends and folklore. He also recommended places to eat dinner and where to listen to good music. Accommodations were booked by the company and were good, not fantastic but clean and well appointed. Most places were B&Bs and the hosts were amazing. Costs were around £100 and included breakfast. We did stay at one place that was considered a hotel and charged £150. I would not recommend it as it was quite overpriced for the amenities it provided. Everyone on our bus were friendly and we have made some great friends after spending so much time together. We laughed, ate, drank and had loads of fun in 4 days!! We highly recommend this tour, Rabbies as a tour company and Ray as our guide. Thanks for such a great trip.

Best tour ever!

Willie, our tour guide, felt like a friend. He was so helpful and informative and even ate lunch with us some days. We were 4 solo female travelers and we all became friends during our tour. It was a nice small group and the van was very spacious and comfortable. We got some great information about history, Scottish music was played throughout our journey, and Willie showed us so many Outlander filming sites. He even reminded us what season each filming site was from. We had more than enough time at each stop and he even offered to take our picture if we wanted. 4 Day Outlander Tour

The Outlander Rabbie's 4-day tour was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide, Willie, was so engaging, kind, and knowledgeable. Not only did we see significant sites, it felt like he took us to places that were off the beaten path. The highlands were beautiful, the towns cute, the food was wonderful, and everyone we met was so genuine and friendly. I would definitely recommend Rabbie's and Willie as a guide!

One of the best travel experiences of my life!

My daughter and I went on the Rabbie's 4-day Outlander Trail Tour from June 17-20, 2022 and had the absolute time of our lives – we could not recommend this tour more highly. Not only was it the highlight of our month-long tour of the UK (we're Canadians), but it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had in my life. The rugged yet serene landscape of the Scottish Highlands is beautiful beyond words. As fans of the TV show “Outlander,” we really enjoyed visiting several of the show’s filming locations and hearing the historical stories behind them. It was incredibly moving to visit the Culloden battlefield and visitors’ centre and learn the story of the Jacobite cause, culminating in the last battle fought on British soil. Most of all, we particularly appreciated our wonderful guide Fraser and cannot say enough good things about him. Fraser taught us so much about Scottish history and culture, even thoughtfully curating Scottish music for us to listen to on our journey. He took the trouble to get to know all 11 of his passengers and created such a wonderful group atmosphere that everyone was sad to leave him at the end of the tour. Whenever we get the opportunity, we will be going back to Scotland so we can go on the Rabbie's Isle of Skye tour, hopefully with Fraser as our guide!

Great Outlander and Scottish History Tour

This is an excellent tour! Our driver/guide ,Willie, was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot even though this was our 7th visit to Scotland. The group was super fun and we felt like a group of friends/and family by the end of 4 days! Really covered the whole Outlander sights and scenes. It was great as an Outlander (tv series) fan to find like minded fans to chat with! Really a great tour. Unbeatable. Only down side was our hotel in Inverness was not very good. Really only a "One-star" so I suggest that a different hotel in Inverness be contracted. But even with that it was awesome.

Outstanding

This tour was nothing short of outstanding and exceeded all expectations. Our Tour Guide Ray, enhanced the tour experience immensely with his knowledge, sense of humour and his ability to bring the group together. My friend and I both felt that Ray kept the group fully engaged throughout. There were surprise stops along the way matched with relevant music and funny stories. At no point did the tour take a dip so we were all fully engaged from start to finish. I couldn't recommend this tour (and Ray 😀) highly enough.

Unbeatable tour with Graham T

I can honestly say our Outlander Adventure with Graham T was a life highlight. From the minute we set off from Edinburgh to the theme tune (cheers going up at the back of the bus), we knew we would have a wonderful time, but not that it would be so special. We had a fantastic group, and we’re so lucky to have the absolute legend Graham T as our driver/guide. We saw essential Outlander sights, but also stopped to take in much of the breathtaking beauty of the Highlands. There was the exact right amount of sightseeing, activities, music, stories - and you were never without a handily placed public loo (very important!). The music and stories Graham entertained us with on the drive kept us engaged and every drive flew by. The only downside is the melancholia of having to say goodbye, but we will be back. Ten out of ten from us x

Best tour guide and tour ever!

Graham Trotter, our tour leader, made the Outlander Tour so much more than just an Outlander tour. With his great knowledge and love for Scotland, he made us all fall in love with Scotland! Through his stories and carefully selected music to accompany his stories, we learned about the history of Scotland and about the passion and resilience of the Highlanders. We are all in agreement that Graham is the most professional and knowledgeable tour guide we ever had! I can highly recommend Rabbi Tours and if you can, ask for Graham to be your tour guide. We intend returning to Scotland as soon as we can to do the Isle of Skye Tour with Graham.

Magical Outlander tour w caveats

We had a great tour with our guide Mckenzie, the most proud Scottish tour guide that clearly loves his country you could ever ask for. He is a master storyteller that will make your tour totally amazing. Please note that due to current filming and weather some venues were closed. Mac gave us some extra sites to make up for the closed ones. After 4 days our tour bonded and we all became family. Very magical getting Outlander fans sharing a wonderful experience. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to accomodations being hindered by local events out of tour operator's control.

Highly recommended experience

Booking a smaller group tour is so much better then the large bus groups. This tour not only took us to Outlander filming locations but also beautiful nature areas that larger buses would not be able to reach. Don't forget to pack a windbreaker at a minimum or a thicker coat depending on the time of year you go because there is a good chance you will have some rain during your visit. Be sure to wear hiking boots or similar type footwear to enable you to traverse the slippery and possibly wet ground. You must be able to hike up hill short distances in order to see the magnificent views. Our tour guide, Willie, was the best. He is friendly, fun to be around, and a wealth of knowledge in Scotland's history and customs. Credit cards were readily accepted everywhere so you only need cash for tips really and in case there is a charge to use restrooms. With the increased tourism, more places are starting to charge for use of restrooms only 30 pence or so. I would definitely do another tour like this one.

WOWLANDER!!

We have just come back from having the most amazing time on the 4-day Outlander tour with Mac, our tour guide. To start with, our bus was wonderfully comfy, clean and provided an excellent ‘home’ as we travelled around the Highlands. From the minute we set off from Edinburgh, Mac began sharing his specialist knowledge of Scotland, including tales, history of the Jacobites and legendary Scottish figures and traditional songs which continued throughout the four days and brought everything to life. This made the trip extra special for us, to have such a Highland specialist leading us through our tour. Every location was spectacular and as well as seeing all the Outlander locations, we saw so much more of the Highlands along the way. A real highlight for us was the bag pipes which Mac played to enhance different experiences and locations. Whether you’re an outlander fan or have never heard of it, this tour is an absolutely amazing way to experience beautiful Scotland and to learn more than you ever thought you could about its history. Anything you see in a picture is blown out of the window when you see it in person. We didn’t want it to end and felt quite emotional when it did. We are already exploring which Rabbies tour to book for Winter.

Great Tour Guide, Good Tour, Terrible Accommodation Department

The tour itinerary was good, but our Tour Guide, Ross, greatly enhanced the experience with his smart appearance, polite manners, very deep knowledge of the age when Outlander was set and the Jacobite situation. As an Englishman, I found Ross's views, from a Scottish perspective, most thought provoking and illuminating. However, the trip was really let down by the Rabbies's Accommodation department, who we tried to talk to about problem's we were experiencing, but they never bothered to respond to Ross's phone calls on our behalf. Then part way through the tour, we accidentally came across the Manager of Rabbies Accommodation Department, Suu, who it turned out acted as a driver/tour guide for part of the week (or when it suited her!?). When I tried to talk to her about the problems that we were having with the accommodation, she just brushed me of in a very brusque and rude manner and walked away. The fact that Rabbies Accommodation Department had a part time "manager" could explain why it was not really that good. But then as Suu seemed to have no pride in the way she dressed, showed that she had little respect for herself, her employers, her co-workers and the clients of Rabbies, who were paying her salary. I have never had any cause to give a critical review of any escorted tour holiday that I have been on before, but this situation really upset me and left a sour taste after what was otherwise a nice holiday.

Searching for Jamie Fraser - Rabbies tours

We had an excellent tour with Amy even though she could not find Jamie! She was very informative and funny. She never seemed to mind all the questions from us. The scenery was breathtaking and even though a lot of the places were Outlander based, you still learned a lot about Scottish history. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour and if you are fortunate, you will get Amy as a guide.

Ask for Amy she is even better than a man in a kilt!

We travelled to Edinburgh for a holiday and to do the Outlander tour as fans of the tv show. We booked Rabbies as the idea of a small group and the itinerary looked great. On the first morning we travelled to the bus station in Edinburgh to find our guide and mini bus. From there we had the most amazing 4 days. Amy our guide was fantastic, she was not only friendly and welcoming but also a wealth of knowledge. Within the first few hours everyone on the tour was introduced to each other and talking. The 4 day tour took as to all of the major filming locations and Amy went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the sights along the way. Day 2 at Clava Cairns after joking we were going to go through the stones we met Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish! I cannot recommend Rabbies highly enough and Amy made the tour exceptional. We dubbed it the 'magical mystery tour' which it certainly lived up to. Book with confidence that you will have a fun filled, knowledge finding, scenery viewing and overall amazing experience. This was my first holiday in 15 years and We are now saving to go again with Rabbies next year.

Outlander 4day Tour from Edinburgh.

We started our journey from the bus station in Edinbrugh and was met by a very nice booking in clerk. The minibus arrived on time and the driver introduced himself as Ross MacArthur He was very polite professional and a good representative for the company. Ross gave us daily run downs on the schedule and our journey began. Ross was the perfect driver for this tour his knowledge on Outlander film sites and destinations was impeccable. He entertained us with music that fitted the scenes which added to all our excitement. Ross also gave us guidance on the best places to eat when we reached our destinations . We where all very we'll looked after during the trip. The other travellers where strangers who became friends very quickly . Our accommodation was very comfortable in the 3star hotels booked by Rabbies We could not have wished for more it was quite emotional when the trip ended and we all arrived back at the bus station This was the best trip I have experienced to date and I highly recommend it to prospective holiday makers with an interest in Outlander. Much More Than an Outlander Tour

This tour was wonderful and our tour guide Willie was excellent. Not only was he a superb driver, but he knew so many details of the history of Scotland which he shared with us. This tour is much more than an “Outlander” tour, it’s a general historical tour of Scotland that has an overall Outlander theme. The music he played in between the stories he told, was related to our location or something he had told us about. Willie made the tour special by stopping in multiple locations for photos (especially in the highlands), adding to the overall experience. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient to the center of town. Breakfasts are huge, in fact we could not eat all the food provided in these "full English breakfasts". I honestly think this was the best package tour I have ever been on. I would definitely do this again, especially if I could have Willie!

4 Day Outlander Tour

My husband and I absolutely loved our 4 day Outlander Tour with guide, Ross MacArthur! He did a wonderful job incorporating the Outlander Books, television series, and accompanying history into an interesting, enjoyable experience! Ross is not only very knowledgeable about the subject matter but he also is kind and has a great sense of humor that made the four days fly by! He went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves and even pointed out additional Outlander sites and interest items that we all loved that weren’t advertised in the tour description. I’m the big Outlander fan, my husband was making me happy by going on this tour but he ended up loving it as much as I did! We highly recommend Ross as a guide and this Outlander Tour! 😃

In Search of Jamie

We had a wonderful time exploring Scotland with our guide, Aimee, on our 4-day Outlander tour. For first time visitors to Scotland, this tour allowed us to experience so much more than we imagined possible coupled with letting us walk the streets of both the real and fictional places planted in our minds by the books and the show. It was a “you are there” moment deftly orchestrated by our enthusiastic guide who amplified our experience with soundtrack music (while she told us tales of the Bonny prince and the Jacobites), traditional Scottish tunes, and audible passages from the book. We so enjoyed our time with our fellow Outlander enthusiasts (4 couples in all) sharing thoughts of our favorite scenes and snapping pics of each other in all those important spots..especially that money shot at Lallybroch. We loved it all. Good fun, great fellowship, history, music, great accommodations. We had it all. Thank you, Aimee. We had a ball!

Amy is the Outlander Queen

Trip advisor Our group of 8 were all big/avid fans. Not only did we see the landmarks, filming locations, and just simply unbelievable scenery, but we learned a lot from our guide and driver, Amy. (And fellow passengers.) Stops were planned but we also had flexibility re: lunch, snacks. The van was comfortable and window views generous. Interspersed on our scenic drives was a great selection of Outlander Soundtracks, audio readings, and related music (e.g., Skyfall theme while traveling the James Bond route in the Lowlands.) Accommodations were good (Jurys’ Inn less so), and Amy’s guidance to local restaurants was helpful, as was her use of dry erase charting on the big map at the van’s front. Rabbies is a trustworthy group; avoid the big busses if you can. Scotland, our first trip, was all we hoped for (we spent the 1st 8 days in Edinburgh and North Berwick).

Awesome tour. Lizzie was an exceptional guide

I can't give enough praise for lizzie, our guide. She was exceptional. We had a small group of 6 on the tour bus and it was great. By the end of the trip we felt like a family.

Not only will you enjoy reliving the memories of the Outlander Story you will learn much of Scotland’s history. Ross fills time traveling ~ playing music (matching the mood and scenery), chatting about the show and/or books (he has read them all), and explaining the astonishing history of Scotland. Ross’s ability to tell the stories of Scotland will truly enhance your knowledge and interest. As already stated – Highly Recommend Rather a Fan or No; you will definitely receive your money’s worth and will come away enriched with the history and sights of Scotland.

Outlander Outdone

I loved this trip. Our driver/guide, Willie, was great. He supplied us with lots of interesting and historic information on the sites we were visiting, as well as on the Outlander series. He added the nice touch of playing Scottish music that was appropriate to the next site we were visiting. The accommodations were fine, well run and their hosts friendly. What a beautiful country. Outlander or not, this trip has something for everyone.

Amazing Outlander tour and much more!!!

I had Amy as my tour guide and I highly recommend her for a tour with Outlander but also to learn about Scottish history!! Any made us feel right at home and was very accommodating to what we had interest in seeing or doing. We were lucky to have it be a small group and she went above and beyond to personalize this trip—-I fell in love with Scotland because of this tour. I would definitely be using Rabbie’s tours again in the future and will recommend it to anyone who visits Scotland. Amu had an awesome playlist as well that she used for the tour, adding that extra flair to capture Scotland’s beauty through music. Amazing Trip!!

Words cannot express how much fun we had. Our tour guide Lizzie was amazing and sweet. She knew everything there is to know about Outlander and her history on Scotland. I'm so glad I decided to take this tour. We saw so much in our 4 days! And not once did I feel our trip was rushed. Lizzie gave us a run down for the day and if something didn't work out she had a back up. This was our first time in Scotland, our first time in Europe! and she made it super special. I'm already planning on another trip where I can find a Rabbies tour.

Fantastic Tour And Amazing Guide!

Did the 4 day Outlander Tour with my mom as part of a UK trip. You’ll end up needing 6 days unless you’re already staying Scotland (one day on either end of the tour for travelling) but since Edinburgh is amazing, it’s worth it. The tour covers lots of spots from the show (Lallybroch, Culloden Moor, etc.), as well as some places that aren’t in it, but were either inspiration for the show, or are just neat to see. (Also, cannot recommend the whiskey tasting enough!) Our guide was Amy and she was a large part of why this tour was so great. She had a playlist queued up for the trip with music from the show, artists from Scotland, and music that just felt appropriate for wherever we were. Amy is incredibly knowledgeable about the show and Scotland and can answer pretty much any question you throw at her. She’s got a genuine love for her job and it’s evident in her interactions with her tour group. When you get to certain spots, Amy will pull out a well loved copy of Outlander and read certain parts to set the mood or to see how what’s written compares to what’s in front of you. The only thing I’d say, and I don’t know that there’s anything Rabbie’s can do about it, is there’s a bit of a legroom issue on the bus if you’re tall. I’m over 6’ and ended up having to sit at the very front in spare guide seat the pops up and down so that my knees weren’t numb by the time we’d reach a destination (my mom is 5’10” and had just enough room). But, again, not sure what Rabbie’s would do about that. Plus, I got to know Amy and she’s great, so it worked out in the end. Next trip to Scotland, I’ll definitely be taking a Rabbie’s tour!

Outlander Land

Our driver Lizzie was the best! Can't imagine anyone being better for our trip. Very knowledgeable on not only Outlander, but Scottish history in general. Learned a lot and had loads of laughs and fun.

Our Rabbie's guide Amy is a NATIONAL TREASURE!!

You will be doing yourself a great disservice if you book with ANY other company. My 78-year-old Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed the 4-day Outlander tour with Rabbie's, and our driver guide AMY was the BEE'S KNEES. She was a superb storyteller and was SO passionate about Scotland. We learned ALL sorts of interesting historical stories and legends and myths and songs and I could go on and on. Amy kept us engaged all day and took us to the MOST fabulous places, plus her timing was impeccable. We beat the crowds at: Every. Single. Stop. She knew precisely how to plan each day and passed on little bits of helpful info (hit the visitor's center at Urquhart Castle first so you get the back story, hustle up the hill for the best views of the Jacobite Express train) so as to make each stop even more enjoyable. She had RAZOR sharp wit and a keen sense of adventure. We LOVED every minute and Amy made the journey unforgettable! Rabbie's is THE BEST.

A thorough immersion in the highland culture and Outlander series

We took the 4-day Outlander tour from May 5-8. Our guide was Amy and our driver was Ross. Amy knew practically every historic location, every native plant and had restaurant recommendations that were spot-on. Ross was a great driver, toldinteresting military stories, wore a kilt the whole time and played bagpipes for us at Culloden. We let Rabbies pick our B&B's to stay in and they were quite good (Glen Mohr in Inverness and the Alexandra in Fort Williams, both close to shops and restaurants.) The thing to be aware of is this not just an Outlander film location tour - most of Outlander was filmed in the lowlands, and this tour is about the highlands where the actual events occurred. This is where Amy and Ross excelled, in recalling the story behind the Outlander series with the actual historic locations, events and even the family crypt of the Old Fox. They got us into the Mackenzie grounds (normally off limits) and shared rich colorful stories of the Jacobite and Bonnie Prince Charlie. The pace of the tour was excellent with just enough time at each location for photos and refreshments. It was nice being with a small group instead of a larger bus of which we saw plenty. The Battlefield at Culloden is inspirational for those of us with Scottish heritage and Amy and Ross really brought it to life. I highly recommend the tour if you want a mix of Outlander stories and the Highland history. The only improvements I would make would be to have pictures or videos from Outlander shown along the way (or if you have the making of outlander season 1/2 bring it along) and we visited a folk museum on day 1 that was pretty dull. Otherwise, this tour was outstanding and Rabbies themselves did a good job of working with me to plan it and if you are in Edinburgh, there is a Rabbies travel office that you can visit beforehand to get any questions answered like pickup and dropoff locations.

A Wonderful Outlander road trip

I thoroughly enjoyed the Outlander tour I took with Rabbies. Our lovely driver/guide, Amy, really made the trip. She was fun, very knowledgeable, even had a wonderful playlist of music that worked beautifully with our trip. The breaks were well spaced and we were never on the bus for too long. If you’re a fan of the books or show, this is a great choice. Even if you’re not familiar with Outlander, the scenery and historical stops make it well worth it. Thanks Amy, for a fabulous time!

Scotland and Outlander with Rabbies

Jimbo, our driver was excellent in letting us know what is real Scotland and what was "Outlander" myth. This was a girls trip for Mother's Day and we saw so much and experienced so much more. From Culross to Falkirk and seeing the Flying Scotman - what a treat. Inverness was an easy city to walk around with lots to see - Culloden, Calva Cairns, highland coos around each corner plus lots of sheep. Seeing where my relatives are laid to rest in Glencoe, searching for Nessie/waterhorse. Trying whisky and some local food. This was an excellent tour that allowed us free time and still let us try to find Jamie and Claire.

So GD worth it!

I just finished the 4 day Outlander tour, w Amy as our guide, and Lizzy tagging along to learn, and let me tell you, it was the highlight of our entire trip! Amy was such a wonderful driver guide, SO freakin knowledgeable and passionate, not only about Outlander, but of Scotland as a whole. We saw filming sites, historical sites, and the beauty that is Scotland; and I learned SO much! I can't think of a better way to see Scotland! So worth it guys! Do it.

Fantastic Experience

I just got back from Scotland and took this tour. Amy was our guide and she was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, organized and fun! She knew what she was doing and had music that definitely enhanced the experience! I will definitely use Rabbie’s in the future!

Fantastic outlander trip

What a brilliant time myself and my sister had on this outlander tour. We met some lovely people on the tour bus x Our driver/guide Ross was brilliant.He had a wide knowledge of the books and the series which was great when visiting the different locations but also his historical knowledge was great to hear. We visited some wonderful locations and the scenery was breathtaking. I would highly recommend Rabbie’s as a company and they are lucky to have such a good and knowledgable guide as Ross working for them. I don’t think any of us will ever forget him playing his bagpipes at Culloden.The accommodation and food was great and Ross recommended some great places to eat on the stopovers in Inverness and Fort William . I cannot recommend them enough. I would definitely travel with them again.

Perfect holiday and outstanding for all the right reasons

This 4 day Outlander Tour was a treat for my sister's forthcoming birthday and sharing a passion for the Outlander books and tv series, we thought we would try it. Rabbie's and Ross, our driver and guide, were exceptional in every way. From being picked up, we knew straight away we were in good hands. Each day we knew where we were going and what we would be doing well in advance. Ross was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and has a remarkable knowledge of Scottish history which made being in the very places that these events occurred all the more meaningful. Culloden was very poignant and Ross playing the bagpipes there so proudly will stay with me for the rest of my life. I think everyone was moved by this attention to detail. Ross is a wonderful ambassador for Scotland and for Rabbie's. We were also given recommendations of places to eat in Inverness and Fort William and for us in Inverness especially, we returned both nights of our stay to the same place since the food was amazing as was the entertainment. Accommodation in both Inverness and Fort William was very good and I would recommend this tour without hesitation. Our small group of 14 was lovely and everyone bonded during the tour so it was emotional saying our farewells. The landscape is stunning and breathtaking at times and a sight to behold. Thank you again to Ross and to Rabbie's for an unforgettable experience.
