Walk in Old Dubai with New Friend(Pickup option from Hotel)

Great experience

This was the first day at Dubai stay during Ramadan and joined this tour thru Viator. It was the only Old Dubai tour starting at mid-day and had pick up service from the hotel. That’s the reason to choose. Pick up service was smooth and luckily the customer was only us. The guide, Ikrum was so nice to keep a good pace with us. He was knowledgeable and could answer all questions we had. We visited the area urbanized in the 70’s, the heritage district, an old house, boat experience with other passengers and souk district in three hours. We bought spices at the store and could enjoy the whole experience. We would like to say thank you again to Ikrum, who brought us great hospitality and nice impressions of Dubai!

Must do in Dubai

Must do in Dubai our guide (sorry can’t remember his name) was amazing. Gave us a history of the UAE and showed us the old town , souks , and had tastings of tea and coffee . Included a ride in an abra from the old town to the souk . My teen son also enjoyed it . Great to see another side of Dubai.

Lovely experience in Old Dubai

It’s the best!! You should visit Old Dubai with the guide Shahzad, lovely experience! Learned a lot of new things and really tasted the culture!

Great tour

This is an awesome tour and you will not be disappointed. Learning about the history of Old Dubai and the forward thinking of the leaders was great and my guide Shahzad was amazing. He was patient and so very kind to answer all my question. Thank you for the tour!!!

Choose this Old Dubai tour amongst others

This walking tour was the highlight of our day. Our guide, Ikram toured us to a lot of places and explained the history, culture and relevance of each place. We even get to go inside one of the old houses and get to drink coffee and tea. This trip was also very convenient as this comes with free pickup from our hotel. Ikram also gave us tips on how to haggle and buy from the various souks he brought us to. He shared so much information about Dubai that I could perfect a quiz if I'll be given one. Thank you again, Ikram for being the best guide and for even being kind enough to take our photos.

Old Town walk. Highly recommend

I would recommend this walk around the Old Town. Ikram was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and told us about the history of Dubai and the UAE. He was very friendly and answered any questions we had.

The tour of Al Fahidi Historical Site in Dubai was exceptional. The knowledgeable and friendly guide made the experience enjoyable and informative. Exploring the traditional houses and narrow lanes, we were immersed in Dubai's history. The inclusion of delicious Kunafa pastry and other traditional foods added to the authentic experience. The attention to detail and the guide's willingness to answer questions made it a memorable journey. Highly recommended for a deeper understanding of Dubai's culture and heritage. We loved Azmat! With this we went to Dubai Mall, went to Burj Khalifa, went to Old Dubai, went to ferari World in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi.

We had a great ride with it. If you people of Dubai also come to Dubai sometime, do a tour with him. This is a very nice boy. Explains well.

Excellent intro to some of the region’s fascinating history combined with sights, sounds and history of Dubai.

Malik did a great job and was able to provide context and insights that made the experience all the more enjoyable. His experience and professionalism allows for the guest to relax, open their minds and enjoy the opportunity to take it all in.

Informative tour.

I just visit yesterday to old dubai area with my family .. We visit gold souq & spices souq also and buying some Arabic spices and Arabic perfume as well my tour guide name Mr.Malik he nice person and well knows about old town dubai.. we really enjoying this walking tour ..

I have done the tour of Old Dubai and the Souks with Malik twice ( was travelling with different people ) . I found both tours to be excellent Asjad was fantastic . It is relaxed , informative and fun . The walking will not stress you at all . I highly recommend old dubai with new friend. Have done two tours with them and find them to do an excellent job !

Right from the start our tour guide made us feel a ease . Our tour as lesurely without too much information but enough for us to take in . The ride on the abra was probably something we wouldn't have done on our own . The stops we made in the coffee houses a shop in the spice Souk were not places where we were pressurised to buy anything . All in All I would definitely recommend this tour .

Perfect visit

Perfect morning, after picking us up from our accommodation, the walk around old Dubai and the souks was very pleasant. We loved the private abra tour. Very enriching and pleasant visit with our 2 year old son. We had to postpone the day of the visit at the last minute because our son was sick and he was very responsive, I really recommend it! Thanks again.

Abbiamo trascorso un pomeriggio insieme a Malic un ragazzo veramente fantastico che durante il tour è stato molto gentile e disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta abbiamo girato per la città tranquillamente e alla fine abbiamo anche mangiato un dolce locale molto buono questo tour lo consiglio ai tutti

Lo pasamos genial con Malik.Nos fue contando toda la historia, caminamos por el viejo Dubai, tomamos un té con leche de camella que estaba riquísimo, probamos un dulce exquisito también.Tomamos una barquito para cruzar al otro lado del río y acabamos el tour viendo el mercado del oro y de las especias. Malik es una persona encantadora, súper amable y atento al más mínimo detalle. Recomendable 💯 %. Repetiría sin dudarlo. Una experiencia inolvidable 😀
