Great overview of Dubai

Mehboob was our guide and we had a great time with him. Pickup from the hotel was prompt. He offered us some live commentary in addition to the pre-recorded commentary. Gave us a good overview of Dubai while being driven around to some iconic places.

Great tour

Our tour guide was very pleasant he picked us up from our hotel on time took us all round Dubai had a few stops for photos saw all the sights we wanted to see we really enjoyed it and would recommend.

Poor experience not recommended

This trip was very poor. The operator offers collection from hotel but does not specify they do not take you back to the tour start! Family abandoned downtown. The AC in the minibus was barely working and it felt like a rushed traffic jam taxi trip. I would not recommend. We were pointed at the general direction of taxis and left for ourselves.

Lovely

Great tour. Bus was a little tired but aircon was a relief. Rizwan was an excellent host. Loved the sights and photo opportunities.

Check that ‘hotel returns’ really are included in the price charged!

Tour was good apart from the fact that the tour description stated pick-up and return to hotel included in the price but when we boarded the coach the guide said ‘returns’ not included! As I was staying at The Palm Jumeirah, it was a long trek back to my hotel by taxi as we were all dropped off at Deira City Mall at the end of the tour!

No show

None as the guide never showed up. What can I say? I received an email asking for information I replied but never got anything back until too late

Worst your, False advertising

FALSE ADVERTISING. Visitor should stop lying to clients, you said the was a pick up and drop off at the hotel,and no it wasn’t, the tour guide was not too kind , the transport was the worst, viator even charges more money than other sides for this ridiculous trip. Get your staff together and charge customers fairly for this tour . I wish there was zero star or way I can get my refund,

I had only a few days in...

I had only a few days in Dubai but wanted to be able to see the city. This was a quick and enjoyable tour. Would definitely recommend!! Tour guides were awesome and very helpful!!

Bad starts from Booking.com. Great tour from Suhail.

There was a confusion with the tour and they didn’t pick us up from the said location. So that was a bad experience. They did reschedule for us though and i am glad they did because we got Suhail as our driver who was amazing and told us more things that the audio guide provided. Took pictures of us and showed us some of the best locations and secret spots to take pictures. So even though the experience started of with a disappointment the universe sent us Suhail and we are not sure we would have enjoyed our tour with someone else as much.

The Jumeirah beach photo stop was a nice addition to the tour, as it gave us a chance to see the beautiful coastline of Dubai and it was a great photo opportunity.

Lovely tour of the main attractions in Dubai

This tour is perfect for first time visitors in Dubai. The tour operator offers a pickup, however trip advisor did not have our preferred hotel on the list therefore I had to select a nearby hotel. The day before the tour, the tour operator contacted me via whatsapp to reconfirm the tour. At this point, I requested the tour operator to change the pickup location which they kindly obliged and provided me with a pickup time. On the day of the tour, the pickup was on time and we were taken to the starting point of the tour. The tour lasted about 3 hours even though it was advertised as 2 hours and 30 minutes. There were several stops during this tour and we were given ample time view attractions and take lots of photos. Samuel was an excellent tour guide. Samuel did not rush us at each stop point and gave us a fair window to return back to the coach to continue the tour. The audio tour guide initially didn’t work, however Samuel sorted it out in no time.

It was very interesting to be able to exit the vehicle and take pics instead of doing it from a moving car.

Lovely trip, covers most of the landmarks. .Must to take if you are on a short trip to Dubai. Tour guide Rizwan Muhammad was great and friendly tour guide.

Snapshot Tour

We took this tour to get a general view of the main sites around Dubai. We were picked up at our hotel and transported into downtown Dubai where the actual tour started, however the driver gave a commentary on various places on our journey to the starting point. The tour takes in the Royal Palaces, the Burj Khalifa, the Burj Al Arab hotel, the Palm and gives a quick overview to allow you to decide if you want to revisit at another time. With the tour taking in the Palm, the driver dropped us back at our hotel at our request before the tour headed back into downtown.

Great Tour option!

Great way to spend your layover in Dubai! The driver Rizwan was great! He was very patient waiting for my flight, he took us around Dubai and we could see great spots! Strongly recommend it if you are planing to visit Dubai. Wish I have done the night tour too! :)

Nice tour, unkind treatment.

Great tour for quick overview of Dubai’s many attractions. Tour is pre-recorded and offered in several languages. Driver picks you up at hotel :-), but at tour’s end, suddenly stops van and announces “tour is over, get off now, and find your way home.” What a disappointing shock after a reasonably enjoyable tour. I decided to tip the driver in hopes he’d take me back to hotel and to thank him. He grabbed the money and said “no” to my request. He said your hotel is reachable by subway and only two stops away. Not!!!! He abandoned us across town, and taxi fare home was more than tour fee. Disappointing!

It wasn’t a bad tour got to go round and see a few places you don’t get to see the palms like in there photo and also the driver said I can take you to one more attraction which turned out to be some place they wanted you to buy clothing,carpets and goods everyone was sat around not knowing what to say feeling very uncomfortable sorry to say we would not go on this tour again

Interesting Tour | interessanteTour

The tour guide was great and explained additional information on Dubais history. The photo locations were not always the good once. Most of the time to narrow or to far away from the object you want to have on a picture. Der Tourguide war toll und hat zusätzlich Informationen zu Dubais Geschichte erklärt. Die Fotoplätze waren leider entweder zu nah dran oder zu weit weg um ein halbwegs gutes Bild zu machen.

It was ok, But in the car was So hot, because the AC it s to small and don t have power to a bus for 10-12 people. When you stop to a place, you have like 5-10 minutes ( 15 maximum just for The Palm) to Take pictures and this is not very very ok because it s So HOT outside and you need to run :))). But comparatively with the price we pay it was very ok, because you see a lot of snapshot points of Dubai with Little money ( if you Take Uber from one point to another you spend over 500AED) So, go, because it s Worth it ❤️. Snapshot tour means you will be brought to the top touristic spots of Dubai. My Bourj Khalifa picture turned out to be cover of a magazine equivalent. If you like taking pictures this tour is for you.

Nice and quick city tour, but don't expect any great photo opportunities

Let me be completely frank right away: this is everything but a photo tour. If you expect to shoot some nice pictures for Instagram for example, you will be disappointed. Our tour started at the Atlantis hotel, and not at the Burj Khalifa as stated in the description. My main goal was to get a nice shot of both the Burj al Arab and the Burj Khalifa, which didn’t happen. Don’t get me wrong, you will be dropped at the barriers of Burj el Arab, but the security there is sick of all those tourists dropped there to take quick pictures, getting in the way of cars that want to leave the Burj al Arab grounds. You will be there together with approximately 40 other tourists all trying to do the same thing, while the angle you have to shoot from won't really provide a nice picture. However, I kept hope opportunities would get better and we would go somewhere where you could shoot the Burj al Arab from a little distance (instead of well, its front door), but that won't happen. So please: don't be inspired by all the nice pictures you see on the booking page! You won't go to any of these exact locations. The Burj Khalifa photo opportunity is from out of the driving van. Not kidding you. The longest amount of time out of the van will be spent at a ‘museum’ where everything is for sale. The merchants will show you tapestry, scarfs, perfume and there’s no way to escape. After that, you’ll be dropped at the Jumeirah Mosque for a snap shot from the parking lot before you’re brought to the royal palace. When you’re dropped at the royal palace, you have ten minutes to take your picture. However, the parking lot where you’ll be dropped, is probably about a kilometer away from the palace gates, which won’t give you the time to walk down the palace to take some shots and be back on time. After that, you’ll be simply dropped at a random location at the Dubai Mall (no photo opportunities there). That’s that. What else to expect of the tour: expect great communication beforehand, everything was communicated through whatsapp, which gave no sense of stress at all. It’s nice to be picked up from your hotel. The driver himself was a gem, he was a super, super friendly guy. The van itself is luxurious, it has nice A/C and headphones for the audio tour are provided. There’s hardly any interaction, because everyone’s listening to the audio tour, which was most of the time aligned with the actual route we were driving. If you take this tour, have no expectations at all and it might work out. I did this tour on the first day of my trip and it was a nice and quick 'meetup'. with the city. It’s definitely cheaper than doing all of this yourself by taxi. But don't expect to take any great pictures. Seriously.

Do not book snapshot grayline tour

Viator service. Fantastic. Booking experience ok. 0/5 for the tour we booked - snapshot your of dubai. Pick up time of 9.30 was given. Picked up 12pm! Poor communication via grayline re this. We had to chase. Varying excuses and scanty info Minibus arrived. Filthy, driver had mask on chin, no wifi, no ac. (info of tour stated ac/WiFi). We took photos of all this as proof. Driver said 'not my problem' when we expressed frustration at being so late. Driver missed end stops saying we saw them on our way to pick other guest (who didn't wait). Prerecorded audio - out of sync of where we were and driver refused to pause when asked him to when he told us to get off bus for site stops. He was rude and shouted at us for no reason. We had a 5 min stop and he was sleeping with doors unlocked with our belongings inside. All in all, poor experience and would never book again. Contacted gray line who refused a refund saying the driver said tour was done as stated. I contacted viator who were very kind and refunded the tour cost. If like me, you wish to gain knowledge and have some human interaction, ask questions etc - nook another company! Avoid grayline.

Great Experience for 1st day in Dubai

It is the right tour to book for your first day in Dubai. You get to see a lot on a 3H tour and then you can plan your next days in the places you enjoyed the most. Our driver, Rizwan was a great trip-partner.

Awesome experience

Our tour guide was very informative and aware of our culture and current events in our country. The tour was awesome - he even took us to a local area of the Souk where they sold the items we mentioned we were looking for (watches, handbags, belts, etc.). We spent an hour there and then continued on our tour. I would highly recommend this activity to others.

Nice Tour with great guide

We liked the tour, saw a lot of Dubai. I would have liked to have a stop in the old part of Dubai but otherwise everything was nice. Technic, size of the group, guide, seen attractions etc.

More than one hour late, refused to refund

First, the booking was made for the day after the one I chose. I emailed saying I couldn't make that date, they said it was possible to do the tour in the date I actually chose. After arranging the pickup, I waited more than one hour with no response from their part, and I was forced to cancel since I had a flight later in the day and couldn't afford the risk to miss it. Despite explaining this situation, the refund was cancelled to me, where I paid for a tour I never did, and waited more than one hour for.

Amazing tour

Amazing, had a great time, our tour guide mr. Farman was very nice and helpful. stops for pictures was relatively too short that's why I didn't give a 5 star. But a very good tour.

Dubai feb 2020

We really enjoyed the sight seeing tour. Farman our driver and guide was very helpful, respectful and informative. Two of our group members have a mobility issues, so this trip was ideal. It lasted around 2 hours 30 mins and was just enough time to see the main sights of Dubai. The price was competitive and I will recommend this tour to others. Mrs K Rathnayake

Snapshot is a Snapshot

I was worried about this tour as some reviews said it was very quick and did not enjoy it. This was my first tour in Dubai and first day arriving to Dubai. I found that it was exactly what was needed to get a sense of what Dubai is like and where are the icons. Expect: to be in a van, have headphones and listen on the audio while the driver drives around, get off the bus take some snaps and get back on, be on a bus for a while est. 2 hours. Good points: The driver was good and tried to engage in conversations in general, was friendly, showed us and pointed out some things and general chat about Dubai and it’s landmarks which I appreciated. Don’t expect: a driver to talk about landmarks and make jokes, have a driver and a speaker/tour guide, a personalised private tour. As I wanted a “Snapshot” of Dubai, this tour did exactly that. To have a feel and see it and then later make my own way to places that I wanted to revisit. I recommend this tour for what it is and was one of the tours that wasn’t the “whole” day and saw sights that needed to be seen including the “the Atlantis” stop that most tours don’t do. I can’t remember the drivers name but he was A+

Disappointed

For a snapshot tour, there were not enough stops. I was not expecting an audio recording of the sights. I was also not expecting the the pickup and dropoff locations be different (this should be clearly stated up front). I was not impressed with the additional time and cost to get back to the hotel from the dropoff point. The night tour I had (different company) far exceeded this one even though it was raining for most of it.
