Noor is a very genuine, helpful and knowledgeable tour-guide. His narrative was upbeat and overall we had a very pleasant tour. Our young children did not complain once as they found it so interesting! Additionally, food was delicious. We ended up going back to Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant for dinner. We would be interested in future tours and would thoroughly recommend this company to friends and family.

A nice morning

We had a really nice morning. Our guide was Adel, he explained us curious and interesting things and was very patient with our children interrumptions (they are 4 and 5 years old). He also solved all our questions .The food that is included was great!. As It was Sunday we couldn't visit the museums but we enjoyed it anyway.

Great local guide and knowledge!

Maaz Khan was our guide and he was very informative and highly knowledgeable. He is an excellent guide helping us out with great local Transportation tips and looking after us at all times. We highly recommend this tour and our guide. Loved it!

Amazing historical background & tasty street food

The tour was amazing! Our tour guide Ramadan was very friendly, funny and had a great knowledge about the historical backgrounds. The street food was tasty and our absolute favourite was the fruit tea with condense milk. Highly recommended

Great experience & cultural immersion

As a resident in Dubai whenever I have family over, I include the heritage guided walking tour as part of the experience and this one with Maaz Khan was an amazing surprise. Not only the great energy he maintained with the whole group but all the history details he shared and even curiosities. I learned new things, even if this was not my 1st tour and my family loved the experience. I recommend it and will for sure repeat it, next time a have a family or friends flying over!

Great intro to Dubai

What a wonderful introduction to Dubai and the older parts of the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided information on the history and recent growth of the city. We enjoyed the entire tour but the coffee museum and stop at the restaurant were especially memorable; we were able to sample many dishes and everyone was so accommodating. We highly recommend this tour whether it’s your first time or 50th time in Dubai.

A Dubai Cultural Lesson with Class

Our guide, who told us to address him as Khan for short, was superb; courteous, pleasant, sociable and possessed a knowledge of UAE's history that impressed my wife and I to the full; He comes highly recommended and we thank him wholeheartedly for making our first time in Dubai a memorable one. The best tour with Hassan

We had an amazing time. Our guide Hassan was the best! He took his time, explained everything as went along, and stayed with us to help negotiate at the souks. He is very knowledgeable and personal. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care. He did not rush us or move hastily to keep on time. He took photos for us and even posed us for the best picture opportunities. I cannot say enough nice things about him. It was an amazing tour with an amazing guide!!

The Trip was very informative. Our guide was well informed and the program was very good. Unfortunately the lost a bit time in the restaurant and then our guide had to hurry up. Would really recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the history of Dubai

Old Dubai tour, a can't miss tour.

An amazing tour of Old Dubai. Our tour guide A Hassan was very friendly and spent so much time explaining the history of Old Dubai and so much more. The food at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise very tasty. The visit to the market would have never happened if we didn't book this tour. A must when in Dubai and if you are lucky enough, you will get A. Hassan as your guide.

Excellent use of vacation time

I and wife enjoyed our walking tour with Noor. Combined with the food tasting and water crossing made the day even more enjoyable. Our guide is very knowledgeable in local history and customs and took the time to answer my wife's many questions. Thanks again Noor. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

We spent a great morning touring around the old town with our guide, Momen, who was very informative and responsible. The tour was relaxing and well paced. The snacks served at the heritage restaurant were amazing.

The secrets of Dubai

The city tour with Hakim was wonderful! We learned an incredible amount about the history of Dubai. None of the sentences were boring - Hakim tells the story in a very exciting way - so much so that even my 14 year old son was very excited! The delicacies were very tasty and Hakim was able to convey the very special magic of the Orient.

A great Experience

It was a wonderful tour, our guide Ramadan was excellent. We had a great experience around the old part of Dubai. Ramadan lead us around and told us many interesting things about Dubai and it's history.

We had a great Tour through the old town! We had a great guide, he speaks perfect german and is well educated! He expained so many things about life und Dubai, now and in former times! Really enjoyed the walking tour of old Dubai!

The walking tour was excellent and Khan was a great guide with great knowledge of the area and the history. We really got to see what life was like, we sampled the local food and drink and took an abra ride. It is well worth doing this tour as there is more to Dubai than the new city!

Amazing way to learn about Old Dubai. Definitely recommend

This is a MUST DO while visiting Dubai. My tour guide Nasser was very knowledgeable about the history of Dubai and the people. I got to learn a lot about the heritage of Dubai people and how they used to live. I got to see and tour a local Emirati house and also visited the coffee museum which was amazing. Tried some street food which tasted yummy and the portions were big. Nasser was also very helpful in taking pictures and videos of me. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Walking Tour Dubai Historical Centre

By far the best walking tour ever anywhere. The tour was well organised having traditional food bits, coffee, etc. Fesal is a wonderful guide and explained the history, traditions, etc. and now we appreciate more the country. Keep it up !!!

Amazing Day Tour

The tour was amazing! We learned so much about the city and culture. Ramadan was an excellent guide and helped us capture the perfect pictures to always remember this experience. I highly recommend!

HONEST THOUGHTS

Okay so I will try to pin my actual thoughts here about the trip! I had the trip with the tour guide Noor from ocean Air travels, the pick up was smooth & then we went to Al fahidi area. The tour started nicely however I felt that Noor was a bit agitated when you take photos. I love taking many photos of myself or of the area & your tour guide should not make you feel as if you are doing something odd!!! This is something I could sense & didn't like at all about this trip because I want to feel relaxed & chilled out, & not under the pressure that the tour guide might be getting agitated about me taking many photos! Another thing that Noor had a bit of a judgemental tone as he is a Pakistani guide, & as I was a pakistani tourist so I could sense that the way he explained stuff to other ethnicities was a bit different from yours! But that wasnt much of an issue for me! & may be he doesnt do that intentionally !! Lastly in the bazaar or otherwise, many shopkeepers love their tourists to try on things for photos, I felt that he was very strict & when I tried a traditional dress in the shop, Noor was really strict to ask me if I am gona buy it or just wore it for photos despite that the shopkeeper was so happy for me to wear it for even just photos. Either way, if the shopkeeper doesnot have any problem with that then he shouldnt be having any problem with this either as it is not his business really!!! I think if this trip was a bit more chilled out & with a bit of a fun banter it would have gotten more enjoyable rather than a bit stressful because this is a fun trip not a school tour where there is someone on your head pointing out things & stuff!! I think these were my actual thoughts from the day & I wanted to be honest rather than just saying wrong stuff here. Cheers!!

Just fantastic!

What a truly great experience. My guide Maaz Khan was so informative about the history of Dubai. He gave me inspiration to do further research as what he told me was so fascinating. The whole structure of the tour is so good too. You get a great insight into the real Dubai, eat fantastic food, smell the aroma of the spice markets and see all the gold for sale. Maaz was explaining all throughout the tour.
