Wonder SnapShit of the City

Today thanks to @oscarknighttour we got to be total tourist! We went to the marina, Palm Jumeirah to see Palm Island and Atlantis, saw the Burj Al Arab building, went to the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab mosque. It isn’t our religion but we were respectful and you could feel the positive energy. It was beyond beautiful all the details and extra adornments. We took a traditional water taxi, Abra across to the spice market which was like Tijuana on steroids!!! So many beautiful buildings and the architecture is breathtaking!! Our tour guide Waserm answered so many questions and shared his culture with us.

For my return trip to Dubai …

I stayed in Dubai for 2 days only, to get the most out of my time, my friends booked for me this tour so that I could get to know Dubai in the short time I had. Waseem made it possible by driving me to the most beautiful locations and important landmarks. I enjoyed the stops on the tour immensely, but especially enjoyed the knowledge and company Waseem provided along the way as well. When you are a guest in Dubai, you quickly become their family and with Waseem it was no different. You cannot have a poor experience with him as your guide, he is an amazing person. You have to see for yourself!

A must have tour

Great tour with an amazing guide

Great ride, The guide (Waseem) was extreamly nice and knows the city like the back of his hand. He kept our luggage safe when we where in Dubai mall and then came and gave us a ride to the airport later the same day.

Dubai city tour

Our tour guide, Waseem, was amazing, he was really kind and good at his job. He explained to us what buildings we were passing by on the road and gave us some tips for our stay in Dubai. The tour was really fun and gave us the opportunity to see most of Dubai’s significant architecture. We had a great time and truly reccommend this tour.

Disappointed

Was very excited about the tour when I read the activity name and itinerary however, it was just a touch and go of either dropping us off at places a short period of time or letting us know what a certain landmark is from the car - with no historical background provided. Didnt even explore much of the old dubai. Felt that the trip was a waste and maybe the Hop on and Off bus would have been better. Do not recommend this.

Wonderful! Great way to see Dubai

Our lovely tour guide Imran picked us up at our resort on the Palm 9am on the dot and took us to many great spots - he was very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing with us the history of old and modern Dubai. We learnt a lot! He was a very safe driver and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the spots visited. This is the perfect tour if you don’t want to spend a whole day out but still see many sites. Top experience in Dubai

Great two days with Oscar Knight Tours. We went on a desert safari and watched the sunset from the sandy hills. The evening ended with a fantastic show and dinner in the desert. The morning after we went on the city tour, and it was quite the experience. Especially to see the old town of Dubai and the market. Every service was top quality, and our main guide Waseem was excellent.

Great city tour

Had a really good city tour with my guide Waseem! Saw some beautiful places and got to learn more about the culture and life in Dubai.

Fast paced and interesting

Waseem was a very interesting tour guide! Jet lagged and in 110+ heat, we had some challenges. The tour was very different than I expected. Waseem was with my for two days, one in Dubai and one touring Abu Dhabi. It was kind of like being a kid traveling with dad. He picked me up in a mini van and would drop me off at various places to go explore, but meet back at a certain time to be whisked off to the next location. At the time I was disappointed that he didn’t go into the locations, and felt like it was a little bit skinny on knowledge. However looking back I see that I learned a great deal on this trip about the culture. In between each place he would talk about this history, the past and current culture, what the government has done to develop this and that. We discussed old vs new culture and what made the various Emirate states develop differently. We talked about his family, his farm, and more. I remember this trip very fondly and feel like it wasn’t the tour I planned on having, but it was the tour I needed to get a broader understanding of Dubai.

Must book Dubai Starter Tour…

This tour was the perfect start to our Dubai visit and I highly recommend. It gives you the lay of the land and Imran who was our guide did an amazing job of pointing out many attractions and historical facts. This tour with Imran gave us many ideas for things to do later that day and the coming days. This is a must do starter tour. Don’t overbook too many tours until you do this one Shout out again to our new friend Imran. Truly a gentleman and a scholar.

Burj Khalifa excellent - be patient!!

I've given a 5* review even though we didn't actually go on the trip. Due to extremely rain fall the trip didn't go ahead which was quite disappointing but couldn't be helped. The trip organisers 'Ocar Knight' kept in touch constantly with weather updates. We we're able to go up the Burj Khalifa to the 124 - 125 floor which was amazing, these tickets were not refundable so we made the trip ourselves on the metro (excellent system & so easy). We have received a full refund for the Old & Modern Dubai city tour, absolutely no fuss refund & excellent communication from Oscar Knight, thx so much 😃👍

Fantastic half day Tour

I highly recommend this as a half day tour to gain a basic understanding of the new and old Dubai and what an incredible city it is. (first time visitor) A lot was packed into this trip, but at no time did I feel pressured for time. Our guide Waseem, was so knowledgeable and personable and was keen to answer the questions posed not only from me, but also the 4 German ladies also on the tour. When you read the itinerary, it will give a flavour. What I can’t communicate enough is how Waseem fills in the detail. David

Amazing

The tour guide Imran was very knowledgeable about Dubai and took time to show us many interesting sites. Viewing Palm Island was the highlight, and we are glad he recommended we take the extra time to visit the viewing platform.

Desert safari and a half day city tour.

We had an amazing two days with the company. First day we went to the desert safari with a BBQ dinner and a show at the end and then a half day city tour. It's a must having a guide driving you around the city and telling you about the city and showing you the best places. The guides Mohammed and Wasim did a great job with the tours. Mohammed took us to the desert safari and Wasim to the city tour. We learned a lot about Dubai and the culture here. We recommend these tours a lot, especially if you are having a short trip like we were and haven't been here before.

Old and modern city tour.

Went on the Old and modern city tour with Imran. We were picked up promptly at our hotel on the palm and driven to all of the famous landmarks. Imran was extremely knowledgable, friendly and funny. He stopped at all of the stops taking our pictures at some. He told us exactly where to meet him at each stop and when he left us at the Dubai mall directed us to the Burj Khalifa. Overall a fantastic experience.

Great overview tour

Waseem was my guide and he was very accommodating with my arrival. He did a good job communicating where he was as he journeyed to pick me up and adjusted on the fly when I told him to get me at the airport. The tour itself was a good overview tour of old and modern Dubai. I didn’t do any activities but Waseem gave me ample time to take pictures, walk around and enjoy the wonderful architecture in Dubai. It was extremely hot in early September so I didn’t spend too much time outdoors however. Waseem was very knowledgeable about Dubai culture and history and was more than willing to take me where I wanted to go at the end of our tour.

Good introduction to Dubai

Good choice if you don't have much time in Dubai

Wonderful mix of the Old and New Dubai with a five star Guide

My husband and I were the only people on this interesting and comprehensive tour of Dubai. The car arrived punctually and was beautifully clean and airconditioned. Our Guide, Imran , was amazing, and he took great care of us in the heat, His extensive knowledge of Dubai history and culture taught us so much. The tour covered all the must see sights in Dubai and included a Mosque visit, an Abra boat ride across Dubai Creek, the Souks, and Atlantis the Palms. I highly recommend this trip and particularly the Guide, Imran.

Memorable experience with great guide!

The half day sightseeing tour was memorable. Our guide IMRAN was so knowledgeable about the history of Dubai. He pointed out all the historical sites and we learned a lot! He had patience and also helped us take pretty awesome pictures.

Great Experience

This was a great tour and Imran was a great driver/tour guide. He was on time and was very thorough in explaining things along the way. We had a great time. If you want a quick tour of Dubai then I would recommend this half day tour with the option of choosing to go up to the 124 and 125 floor of the Burj Khalifa. We then spent time at the mall and took a taxi back to our hotel. The drop-off was not included because we chose to go up to the Burj Khalifa. Imran was great!!! Highly recommend him.
