One of a kind experience. A must do when visitng UAE. UAE trip is incomplete without this safari. The drivers are very skilled and the adrenaline rush you experience in the dune bashing is unmatched.

Lovely time on the dunes. Quad bikes and dune buggies is fun and grows on you as you race & go up & down the dunes. This is topped-up by the dune bashing.

We contacted the agency for a reservation through Whats app, no response after 24 hours we relaunched and we were politely answered, no information. I strongly advise you against this agency

Great morning tour

Good wee trip for all ages

We organised this through GetMyGuide. A private pickup from the hotel with one other family in a big LandCruiser , and the drive itself is interesting as it leaves Dubai and heads inland on roads through increasingly desert areas. Takes less than an hour to get there. You arrive at essentially a large quad bike centre, which had a run to one side where there are a couple of camels. We had a short , no more than 10-minute ride on those in pairs, which was an experience, then headed over to the quads. Our guide was quick to ensure we all had fresh cold water available to sip throughout. We each had a 250cc quad bike, doing speeds of up to 33mph on the sand, and were given around 45 mins on them out on a fenced in area of the desert dunes. It was really good fun, although as with all quads, jet-skis etc there’s only so much you can do so after 20mins could probably have happily taken them back. The guide then took us a 10 minute drive along in the LandCruiser to a row of small shops, behind which was a large area of sand dunes. He followed another couple of LandCruisers up into the dunes, sliding and drifting up and down them at a fair pace with Arab dance tunes on at full volume! A good laugh and there Andre nice views out over the desert.. Would have been great to have a wee shot though to be honest, as after a while of doing that he was certainly having more fun than me! We paused to slide down the dunes on snowboards, which was great fun but even the short walk back up the dune is heavy going in the unrelenting heat. A guy then appeared from nowhere with a hooded falcon, encouraging you to take photos with it on you, then of course expected payment. More water then we headed back to the shops area where they blast the sand off you with an airline. It’s a good wee half-day experience, and our guide was really friendly and helpful.

desert safari with mohammad

had a great morning in the desert doing dune bashing, sand boarding, camel ride and quad bikes. would 100% recommend, our guide was mohammad who was excellent with us, took amazing pictures, told us about all the places we drove by and all round nice guy!

Thumbs up to this driver named Akmal.. we contacted him for the tour and his very accommodating. Not only a driver but helping us in giving directions and asking what we need or if we are fine.. As much as i remember he's a member of dream night tour? not sure

The food is unfrsh and unhealthy which is don't like . There's bad faciliti of siiting arrangements . 1time should go there . 2nd time we'll be bored Bcz there's no more adventurous , games, only dessert safari .

red sands desert safari

Did the red sands desert safari...dune bashing was fun. Go karting not good as no head gear protection provided...very risky if accident occurred so rate it poor. Finally the camp was terrible...poor food. little girl went to get cn of coke for daddy and woman told her no get daddy to come and get it...not good. items supposed to be free in the package not free at all...hookah was a rip off...supposed to be free but they insisted to take it to the table with a charge...so not free at all. entertainment basic. Did not like anything here. Total waste of money. Would not do it again with this company.

Enjoyable trip

The dessert safari was a great morning out. Picked up by a very friendly driver at our hotel. Prior to entering the dessert, they stop at a shop to deflate the tyres (but also a chance for them to push merchandise). The shop attendant will put a traditional head scarf (and other items if you let them) for you to “take a picture” but what they really want is for you to buy them. Don’t feel obliged, but if you do want things, haggle them down from their original price. Once in the dessert, the drive was fantastic, very enjoyable/thrilling and the driver was very experienced. We pre-booked the quad bikes and that part wasn’t very organised (took them a while to establish I had pre-paid). They then allowed me to drive around a small area for 20 mins, but if I wanted to go out on a lead excursion I would have had to have paid more. Would have been nice if this was pre-advertised. Overall though, a great experience and glad we did it.

Fraud and ridiculous

I bought this trip incl. an ATV ride. It got the best reviews of all. But what a disappointment. First of all it cost 220 USD for 2 people. It took us 1.5 hours to get to the dessert. Then 15 min driving in dunes. We were looking forward to the ATV. We arrived and we were allowed to drive on a small flat driving range. I signed up for a Jeep Safari and ATV ride in the sand dunes. They informed me, no no that was extra money due to larger ATV in the sand dunes. I informed them there was no choice of this on Tripadvisor website. Not their problem. So i spent 220 USD for a total of 2.5 hours in a car on the highway. A total of 20 min on the "Jeep Safari" driving in the sand dunes and i chose to drop driven the ATV on the flat small sand patch they set up. It is a total rip off!

Trip of a lifetime!

We just got back from a morning Desert Safari......it was such a great trip made perfect by our guide Mohammad Urs. He took lots of photos for us, had patience and nothing was too much for him. Thank you Mohammad and the team 🙂

A must do adventure in Dubai

I'm posting this for my daughter. She has done lots of different things on her travels but this photo of her says it all. She had a blast! Amelia wrote "This was by far the best experience I could’ve asked for. They pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the dessert. On the way I was educated with history of Dubai and views of upcoming construction and got to meet the family I was with. Then we went out and rode the quads. We went at a good pace until everyone was comfortable and the had some fun turns. We stopped for pictures and sand boarding. I felt like I got really good photos and they were always okay to take ‘just one more please’. Then we rode our quads back and had some special treatment by Iqbal (by far the best of the tour guides by their interactions with their guests from my observation view) and did a short keep safari on our way to go riding camels! After camel riding we enjoyed in the tent sweets and Arabic coffee and traditional dressing and getting photos with the hawk! It really was a lovely time and one I would do again most definitely! Truly has something for everyone.

Oceana Desert Safari

Amazing had a great time. They tour guide picked me up from my hotel at the time given. The ATV and dune bashing was exciting. (Eat light lol) The camels were fun and the coffee servers at the end was very good.

Arabian Adventures desert safari

What an amazing experience !!!!! The highlight of our trip to Dubai. Our driver/guide, Asad, was fabulous. Knowledgable and informative about all aspects of Dubai and UAE in general. He was charming and helpful. The ride over the dunes was great fun, as was the camel ride. Breakfast at the Beduin camp was really cool. I would highly recommend this excursion to adults and children alike.

A must, but book with a good travel agency

Post a thorough research across Viator, Expedia and several other tour agencies which offer similar desert safari's in Dubai, I came upon 'GetYouGuide' website which offers morning/evening desert safaris. Since we were travelling with a 4 year old and wanted to do a morning safari at 10AM, we booked a private cab tour via GetYourGuide which cost us around 1100 AED (pretty steep, I know). We got the following things inclusive in the package - dune bashing, sandboarding, camel ride, refreshments and pick/drop facility from the hotel. We were given a confirmation and ticket over email as soon as the booking was done and were also told that the driver would touch base via watsapp. On the D-Day, we got the message from our Driver/Tour guide 'Yasir' at 9:30 that he was at the reception and will wait for us. Turned out to be an excellent tour guide, engaged us in lively conversation and was observant/careful of the fact that we had a small child travelling with us. Before going for dune bashing, we made a quick stop at Quad Biking area, which was good fun and you can get a 30 minutes ride for 150-200 AED. Then we moved onto the dune bashing desert stretch which was exhilarating!! Our kiddo enjoyed it too and it wasn't too bumpy or uncomfortable at all. We then made a quick stop at one particular dune and tried our hands at sandboarding :) while sandboarding in itself is a lot of fun while you go down the dune, but note that you have to walk back up the said dune with the sandboard in hand. We were only able to make 5 trips up and down the dune between the two of us. Yasir also took some lovely pictures of us and these guys are experts - they know what they are doing. We got some neat clicks which I am sharing in this review. Once we were done, we moved on to the camel ride and refreshment area. Now camel ride is something which wasnt a novelty for us as we had done it multiple times before (its hardly a 5 min walk in the area and can be avoided). Refreshment comprised of soft drinks/water/coffee, dates and sweet bagel sorta thingy Overall, it was a fantastic experience which I believe was made more special due to the Tour Guide that we got so a special shout-out for Yasir.

Super safari - lots of fun and adrenaline!

We were picked up on time from our hotel after great communication to confirm timings the previous day and then again in the morning. Siddique our guide was excellent. Kept us informed and was very helpful. First activity was quad bikes (we paid locally) and then a short camel ride. All good fun. Then, off to bash the dunes - quite scary but the kids (13 and 11) loved it! Didn't feel too sick but it was quite a bumpy ride! Siddique was an excellent driver and made it lots of fun. We stopped for pictures and sand surfing. The kids loved this although ended up with sand everywhere! Then it was time to return back to Dubai after a quick stop for a drink and to pump up the tyres. I would highly recommend this trip if you want a shorter excursion but still want to do the action packed activities. Great for the children too.

My tour visit to Dubai

We booked desert safari with ABC tour operators for evening safari. Mr Sadik was driver of van and took us from hotel to desert. For about one hour he made us travel in adventure safari trip. We were fearful, scared and shouting to see dangerous peaks and slopes of sand dunes on which he drove his van in speed. Really he was very good driver and we found out he is leader of other vehicles following us. At the end he took us to a camp, where we had dinner with live shows and dances. Really believe me it was one of the best site tour I had in my life. I think it is a must in case you are visiting Dubai. My advise to visiting friends that you must choose good operator who has vans to pick up take to site directly instead of travelling on bus and wait your turn to take seat in van after reaching desert site, as lot of your time is wasted in wait.

Activities are great but please don't eat their food...

We opted for 4x4 quad biking on the dunes. The activity itself was brilliant BUT you should know the following: - The safety kit and socks etc that you're asked to put on is repeatedly used and is not washed in between guests. The socks I put on were ridden and smelt vile. - You're in the middle of a desert - their facilities - I.E toilets etc are disgusting. Their food prep area is even worse. I honestly saw a human poo on the floor in the hand washing area. - Please do not eat here - Food prep area is so unclean and unhygienic - it's not worth the risk. We didn't do a dinner here but certainly had planned to. I wouldn't dream of doing it now - nor recommending it either. You should know this is the same for ALL desert safari tours - regardless of the company. They all operate from the same base. We saw multiple companies pull up and use the same facilities. - Finally; if you're self driving to the pick up point - do not go on the sand / soft stuff. You will struggle to get your car out.

Great experience!

Vandaag de ochtend woestijn Safari gedaan met zand boarded. We werden opgehaald bij ons hotel door de vriendelijke chauffeur Herou (hopelijk schrijf ik het goed) Hij vertelde ons hoe de ochtend er uit zou zien en wat we konden verwachten. Eenmaal bij de ontmoetingsplek was er een mogelijkheid om te rijden op een quad in de woestijn, wel tegen betaling. Nadat de chauffeur de banden heeft leeg laten lopen gingen we met de wagen de woestijn in. De skills die de chauffeur had waren geweldig, net alsof je in een mini achtbaan zit.. Midden in de woestijn gestopt en heeft Herou prachtige foto’s voor ons gemaakt en konden we op een board naar beneden van de woestijn af.. Daarna gingen we terug, liet de chauffeur zijn banden weer vollopen en zijn we netjes terug gebracht naar het hotel. Al met al een prachtige ervaring, die je wel gedaan moet hebben in Dubai. De woestijn is heel wat dan alle gebouwen bij elkaar. Speciale dank aan Herou hij heeft er een leuke activiteit van gemaakt met zijn vriendelijkheid en enthousiasme!

Trop touristique

Le désert se situe au bord de l'autoroute donc peu de dépaysement ... La promenade en chameau est très courte ... Donc globalement déçus ... On se sent plus dans un parc d'attraction qu'en plein désert ... Nous avons fait une autre sortie avec cette agence : le Full Day Dubai City Tour (en voiture privée) qui fut en revanche magnifique avec un chauffeur sensationnel.

Espectacular experiencia

Una visita obligada, el desierto de Dubai. La experiencia es fantástica, vale la pena. Marea un poco, pero se puede soportar. El horario de la mañana estuvo perfecto. El conductor super amable nos permitió estar todo el tiempo que quisiéramos sacando fotos. Luego aprovechamos para manejar cuatriciclos.

CUIDADO: ES UN TIMO. NO SE PRESENTAN A LA CITA

Estuvimos en un crucero con escala en Dubai el 5 de enero y habíamos contratado una excursión por el desierto en todo terreno para 2 adultos y 2 niños. No se presentaron a recogernos a la hora convenida. Después de 2 horas fuimos a reclamar a la terminal 3 de cruceros a Rayna Tours, agencia con la que funciona esta página web y nos encontramos con más gente reclamando por lo mismo. Después de muchas reclamaciones sólo hemos conseguido recuperar parte del dinero. No me gustaría que le pasara lo mismo a otros viajeros así que no paguéis por adelantado nunca servicios con esta página web o con Rayna tours, seguro que hay mejores opciones.

Génial A faire absolument !

Super safari, mes filles (14 et 16 ans) ont adoré Un grand merci à notre chauffeur Medo : conducteur hors pair avec une seule envie nous faire plaisir et de nous faire vivre un moment extraordinnaire. Les paysages sont grandioses et l'expérience du sand board est très sympa. plein de souvenirs immortalisés par Medo et son don pour prendre des photos o:)
