Full Day Al Ain tour with Lunch from Dubai

For those wanting a bit of history & deeper look into the UAE!

Absolutely worth doing if you've got a little more time in Dubai (UAE). An escape from the city & how it came to be! If you love history & want to experience the historical side of the UAE & what life was like pre oil, then this is a must do! You get to see & experience the old fort & royal palace + enjoy a great all you can eat buffet. There's also the mountain range at the end with a spectacular view. The camel site is not for the faint hearted though... It's a great cultural experience, but also a sad one (even as a meat eater). Our tour guide was Rilwan Mohama'd. He was very kind & informative. He told us lots about each site we visited. He also did a pit stop on the drive back to Dubai for a quick drink & loo break. My only slight niggle, is the lunch is a bit later in the tour, so definitely bring a water bottle & little snack (crisps or something to nibble in the car). We left our bags in the car at each side we visited.

Very interesting tour

We have chosen Full Day Al Ain Tour with lunch to discover the UNESCO oasis. Our tour guide Razwan was very kind. We visited AL Jahili Fort, Al Ain Palace Museum, Al Ain Oasis, Camel Market, Jabal Hafeet panoramic viewpoint (unfortunately during the tour you don’t visit the summit) and Mubazarah Hot Springs. Some stops could be longer but overall I recommend the tour. Futhermore, the very delicious lunch was included.

Amazing and informative tour!

The tour was very interesting and informative. Rizwan, our guide was very nice, patient, and answered all our questions appropriately. We would recommend him as a guide for any tour. He is an asset to the company.

Perfect Day

We are a Brazilian couple and we had a wounderfull day with our Guide Rizwan. We enjoyed a lot the Garden City Alain and we strongly recomend this trip with Rizwan! The food was very good too.

Tour with guide Kumar

Our guide Kumar made this day to a very special day. He showed us al Ain with its all beautiful small secrets. Beside the hidden gems which we were able to see, Kumar told us a lot interesting information about the history, culture and landscape. Also the lunch in the hotel is fully recommendable. Fantastic day out!

The tour operator Grayline was organised and efficient. The buses were clean and comfortable. Loved thr fsct that we had headsets for commentary and info all the way there and all around. It was informative and interesting. The fort was good, particularly the photo exhibition. 30 mins was long enough though. The palace museum was lovely too. We could have spent a little longer here but I can imagine in really hot weather that 30 mins would have been enough. The Oasis was great to see. We paid 20dirhams each extra for the buggy ride around (which took 30 mins). This was worth it to see everything. They did photo stops so you didn't miss out. Lunch was good, with a wide choice and soft drinks included. The camel market was an experience! Not too smelly but opened your airways!!! Loved the ride up to the viewing point on the mountain, fabulous for photos. We then went to the hot springs. Sadly, we couldn't bathe as no water (issues due to heavy rainfall). Our guide knew where to go though to bathe our feet in the hot spring water - lovely experience. Our guide was helpful all day and kept us all safe. I would do this trip again and highly recommend it if you want to see the beauty of the UAE away from the glitz and glamour of Dubai.

Nothing spectacular about Al Ain

You can visit Al Ain only if you have plenty of time. But I would still spend more time in Dubai. The fort and Museum was OK. The tour guide was not helpful and was rushing at every stop. We went to see camles and mountain. Nothing interesting. The trip is not worth the money.

<p>Very informative if you are interested in UAE history and traditions. Guide Naser was very good and very nice person.<br/> Unfortunately tour is not promoted so only 4 people participate.<br/> I would include few more attractions in the tour like camel market, souk, zoo, etc.</p>

AL-AIN TOUR

Sehr netter Fahrer im klimatisierten Bus. Audioguide. Gute Auswahl der Sehenswürdigkeiten und Steps. Kritik mehr als 800 Euro sind unangemessen und viel zu teuer.

Al Ain

Organisation pas top le chauffeur était a l'heure seulement il nous a emmené à 1 autre point de rdv où il a fallu attendre 1autre chauffeur bref temps aller beaucoup plus long que prévu. Le guide poli mais pas très enthousiaste. Les sites à visiter très bien seulement il faudrait revoir la durée accordé a chacun comme par exemple la palmeraie où on a eu que 5mn!!!alors que c'est un endroit tellement reposant qui mérite qu'on en profite plus. Repas bien mais sans plus c'est un buffet indien certes dans un bel hôtel mais rien d'extra

Dépaysement

Un Ville de « banlieue » de Aboudabi. Musée pas pire. La bouffe est époustouflante. Notre guide était parfait

Muss nicht nochmal sein!

Preis ok Reisebegleiter unmöglich! Shuttle Service unmöglich! Wir buchten die Abu Dhabi reise inkl. Shuttle vom und zurück zum Hotel, abgeholt wurden wir am morgen dich als wir wieder in Dubai ankamen änderte der Reiseführer kurz entschlossen den Ausstiegs Ort und hat uns an einem anderen Ende der Stadt aussteigen lassen mit einer Mikrofon Durchsage hier endet unser Trip rechts ist die Metro, links Taxis und weg war er! Alle Reisenden steigten aus dem Bus und suchten Ihren Shuttle zurück ins Hotel jedoch war keiner da, da wir von dem Bus an einer falschen Stelle rausgelassen wurden! Jede Familie, Pärchen usw. waren somit gezwungen ein Taxi zurück in Ihr Hitel zu nehmen. Da auch der Reiseführer als erstes den Bus verlassen hat und plötzlich weg war konnte uns auch niemand eine weitere Auskunft geben.! Während der Abu Dhabi Tour verbrachten wir mehr zeit im Bus da wir an jeder Station maximal 10 Minuten bleiben konnten und uns somit überhaupt nicht anschauen konnten! Wie soll man bitte in 10 Minuten durch das Ferrari world gehen ? Also das war ein absolutes Minus..! Kann euch die Tour wirklich nicht empfehlen

Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir haben diese Tour bei Get your Guide gebucht. Unser Guide (Anwar) war einfach fantastisch, deshalb war diese Tour auch sehr gelungen. Da unser Giude arabisch sprach (kommt aus Marokko), war z. B. die Kommunikation auf dem Kamelmarkt bestimmt einfacher und wir haben unvergessliche Einblicke gehabt. In der Oase hat man uns auch gezeigt, wie Datteln gesammelt werden und wir haben auch welche probiert (ich mag eigentlich keine, aber diese waren soooo lecker). Wir können diesen Ausflug (mit einem guten Guide wie Anwar) wirklich empfehlen

<p>Rewiew auf Deutsch / ENGLISH SEE BELOW</p> <p>Die Route:</p> <p>Man muss den langen Weg von Dubai in Kauf nehmen. In Al Ain sahen wir einen Dattelwald mit Bewässerungskanälen in der Stadt, es war sehr heiss, wir gingen kaum zu Fuss. Lunch war ok in einem modernen Hotel nähe des Kamelmarktes. Wir besuchten diesen nach dem Lunch, da war nichts los, der Markt hat seine Aktivität offenbar am Vormittag. Immerhin sahen wir viele Tiere in den Gehegen. Dann auf den höchsten Berg, einige schöne Ausblicke, aber nicht wirklich fasznierend. Ebenso wenig der Erholungspark mit dem Süsswasserbach.</p> <p>Der Tourguide: Pünktliche Abholung im Hotel. Ein Inder, der nur gebrochen Englisch sprach, war zwar liebenswürdig und beflissen, konnte aber kaum etwas interessantes vermitteln. Am Kamelmarkt dauert es ewig, bis wir diesen besichtigen konnten, es war völlig unklar, weshalb dies so lange dauerte. Der Wagen war ok, ausser dass die Klima nicht recht funktionierte bei aussen 45C!</p> <p>Fazit: Mir schien die Führung ziemlich unprofessionell. Dazu kommt, dass Viator mir angezeigt hatte, die Führung finde nur ab zwei Personen statt ich hatte bloss zwei Tage vorher gebucht, und extra zwei Tickets gekauft 2 mal 140 ich war allein, wir waren dann aber zu fünft, irgendwie ist das Reservationssystem von Viator untauglich, auch die Suchmöglichkeiten auf der Website unpraktisch. Ich hatte schon in einigen Ländern über Viator gebucht, und bisher keinen besseren Service gefunden. Offenbar ist das ein schwieriges Business.</p> <p>The route:</p> <p>You have to take the long way from Dubai. In Al Ain we saw a date forest with irrigation canals in the city, it was very hot, we hardly walked. Lunch was ok in a modern hotel near the camel market. We visited it after lunch, there was nothing going on, the market apparently has its activity in the morning. After all, we saw many animals in the enclosures. Then to the highest mountain, some beautiful views, but not really fascinating. Neither is the recreation park with the freshwater stream.</p> <p>The tour guide: punctual pick-up at the hotel. Our Indian tour guide, who spoke only broken English, was kind and assiduous, but could hardly convey anything interesting. At the camel market it took us forever to visit it, it was completely unclear why it took so long. The car was ok, except that the climate didn't work properly at 45C outside!</p> <p>Conclusion: The leadership seemed to me rather unprofessional. In addition, Viator had indicated to me that the tour would only take place if there were a minimum of two passengers. I had only booked two days in advance, and bought two extra tickets - I was alone, but there were five of us in the group. I wish the reservation system advised me how many people were going to be present so I would not have had to purchase extra tickets. Also the search possibilities on the website are impractical. I had already booked in some countries via Viator and had not found a better service yet. Apparently this is a difficult business.</p>
