We had an amazing time at the desert safari! Najeeb was a great tour guide, and made sure that we were safe and looked after at each stop. The quad bikes were great, and the guide made sure that we were comfortable on the bikes before heading up the dunes. Can’t recommend this tour enough!

Red Dunes Desert Safari Dubai

This was a small family trip to Dubai. The desert safari I booked was planned on arrival and we scheduled it as per our convenience. Mr. Sameer was our Captain for the Safari. An exhilarating experience. Mr. Sameer was super humble and super helpful. He messaged us in time regarding our pickup and was on dot to pick us up. We got to experience quadbike rides and camel rides and off course the adrenaline rushing Desert Safari at Lahbab in the red sand dunes. I was extremely impressed with the control and mastery over the superb Land Cruiser by Mr. Sameer. I thought I was a good driver; but the skills displayed by Mr.Sameer was a different level altogether. We wound up the Safari at a campsite where we were served a buffet dinner and got to watch some dazzling belly dancing and fireplay. I totally recommend this activity to anyone who wants to enjoy the desert experience. Mr. Sameer was the highlight, a very humble and perfect gentleman who takes extremely good care of his guests. An action-packed tour

We enjoyed our safari tour with Iftikhar as our tour guide. He was attentive and made sure the experience was enjoyable. We originally selected a quad bike and upgraded to a buggy (it’s recommended for children). The dune bashing and sand boarding were fun to experience. I would probably choose a longer tour in future to have some downtime between each activity to recover in the heat.

Good experience

Driver Iftikhar picked me up at the hotel right on time and was very friendly. Camel ride was short but sweet and the ride in the dessert was so much fun and Iftikhar was a professional and we felt safe.

Great trip if you heed the warnings

Ibrahim was a really great host he looked after us well. If you are car sick do not sit in the back row for the dune bashing and on the quads I would wear long pants as the engine heat really cooks your legs!! The experience was really worth it and with the advice above I would highly recommend this trip but if we had more time I would do the afternoon/evening rather than the morning

Iftikhar was simply the greatest guide! My wife and I had a blast at the desert safari ride. Terrific camel ride and four wheel bike ride. Will come back again!!!

Excellent tour guide

Awais was ab excellent tour guide. It always felt like he was looking after us and making sure our family was having a good time. The kids loved the whole trip and I think the 4 hour tour was the right amount of excitement and fun for our family. Definitely ask for Awais, he is a master behind the wheel.

Worthwhile and good value for money

The excursion was extremely well co-ordinated and the different activities were definitely worth the while. I would recommend this to everyone. It’s a must do in Dubai.

Iftikhar is an excellent guide. He took good care of us and we enjoyed the experience! We had a great time sandboarding, being driven in the jeep, riding a camel and quad biking.

Great desert trip

Najeep guide was great. Brill driver on the dunes! At desert stop there is free water and usual market souvenirs to buy. only 45mins out of Dubai.

Quad biking, surfing and dune bashing

We booked on a Monday night for the next day. We received quick confirmation of the booking. Our driver and guide for the trip was Shari. He messaged us an hour before picking us up from our hotel to let us know he was on his way. He arrived on time and took us out into the desert for quad biking, dune bashing and sand surfing. He was professional polite and friendly. We really enjoyed the trip. It's a must do when in Dubai.

Amazing trip, the best !

After researching many providers of this sort of trip I eventually booked with Dream Journey via Trip Advisor - originally for just 4x4 dune bashing, camel ride & sand boarding - in my opinion the price of ~£33 pp was unbelievably great value for money as it included pick up drop off from our hotel (on the Palm). Our hotel wasn’t listed in the choices but entered as requested & in morning of trip I was contacted by our guide, Rashid, to confirm our pick up in time - so all good. It was about 45 min journey to the desert, which was great to see how Dubai changes in no time from sky scrapers to desert genuinely 360 all around you ! Our first stop was for camel ride then quad bikes (at Desert X Treme Adventures) that the other couple in our party had booked which we had not, but upon seeing the excellent set up, modern bikes & quality area to drive around my daughter convinced me to upgrade there & then, we were so pleased as it was fantastic fun (we shared a bike). Next, after deflating the 4x4 tyres was into the desert for the dune bashing - all I can say here was imaging the most amazing rollercoaster x 10 with views & some brilliant driving ! Great fun but not for the don’t hearted. Finally we came to rest on top of a dune with literally nothing all around us as the eye can see, for a spot of sandboarding - Rashid gave us each choices of slow or fast boards on shallow or steep dunes - everyone game it a go several times with mixed success, my daughter & I were really looking forward to this & it didn’t disappoint at all. Throughout, Rashid looked after us really well taking pictures & handing out water as needed. After a stop to reflate the tyres, brush off the sand & take some much needed refreshments we headed back to our pick up points. As an experience I must emphasise it was one of the best I’ve ever done & thoroughly recommend this when visiting Dubai - add in the fantastic value for money & a top guide in Rashid, all resulting in experiences we will never forget.
