Excellent stay for a toddler

Had a fantastic time doing the overnight safari stay. Imran was a wonderful host and the camp was very accommodating of our 2 year old. There was plenty for him to do including feeding baby camels and petting the falcon. Food was amazing and the tents were massive!

Loved it!

It was a fantastic overnight stay with our toddler. Imran was our guide and kept us informed of everything that was happening. It was the perfect desert oasis for the night. We loved it.

Better be hungry and save a lot of space in your stomach before going 😂 the food was amazing and in a huge quantity. There were a lot of dishes 100% vegan as well

Excellent experience

Just excellent experience! Everything is well organized and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is the main thing I wanted to see in UAE and it exceeded my expectations. One thing to consider, dune safari can be too rough if you have motion sickness, so consinder taking your pills when they pick you up from a hotel.

Wow! The Desert Safari is a very professionally run company from start to finish.. BUT our particular overnight Safari was AWESOME as our guide Mansoor Manz was totally amazing!! Professional,knowledgable, funny,great photographer, dune bashing driving skills that had us on the edge of our seat while still feeling very safe. Thank you Mansoor you gave us an experience we will never forget! We would definitely recommend this company and this overnight safari (and if you are lucky you will get Mansoor!) Just do it!!!

Best experience ever

Excellent experience, organized very well and with so much fun. Particular note to our guide Mansoor Manz: he was AMAZING! He explained us a lot of curiosity about the country and satisfied all our need. We recommend if you wanna have fun and would like to go deep in the Arabians culture.

So much fun!!!

The overnight safari was so much fun. We did all of the typical desert things - dune bashing, ATV riding, sand boarding etc. Then we moved to the camp. Although, there were a number of people, you would never know it - everything was spread out, didn't feel on top of each other. The food was wonderful and certainly plentiful. The best came when the "day trippers" left and there were just 30 of us left for the overnight stay. The tents were transformed into our little oasis. We loved the morning camel trek ride and the breakfast was delicious!!!

Camel Camp

Very cool tour I like to call it camel camp We stayed overnight in a yurt/tent It even had AC WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE Highly recommend for families/couples/group of friends

Absolutely marvellous - a little rushed, entertainment seems a little sub par

This can’t be praised enough. It was an amazing experience of mostly very high quality, well-planned, great service and lots of wonderful food. Personally I think there were almost too many activities and things to admire for the 3/4 day. It felt a bit rushed and we would have loved to enjoy the trip at more leisure. There were huge comfy outdoor lounge areas that we used for maybe 20 minutes after dinner to enjoy a huge fruit platter and freshly baked corn on the cob. We would have wished for more time to talk with the staff and the other guests and just enjoy the stunning atmosphere. We also would have been interested in some more background information on the Berber culture etc. Maybe some authentic music performed by a local artist would enhance the experience even further. This could be swapped for the slightly disappointing and loud “entertainment show”. The sand bashing isn’t for the faint-hearted, but Fahdi is an expert driver and clearly has just as much fun as his guests. Upon arrival at the camp we were greeted with incense and rose water to rinse our hands, after which we received a huge falafel snack (best falafel ever!). The dessert camp is beautifully designed with gracious welcoming staff, masses of delicious fresh food, individual spacious “tents” (more like hotel rooms) with comfortable beds, power outlets, and a/c. There are proper toilets and even a shower. Everything was very clean. The chef and sous-chefs prepared 3 huge dinner banquet of amazing Emirati, Moroccan and Arabian food. Generous amounts of meat, salads, soups, and delicious desserts. The staff went out of their way to point out the gluten-free choices. We didn’t miss alcohol at all. The night was very quiet except for some planes, which is unavoidable and didn’t bother us. Great stargazing experience and camel rides were amazing. Breakfast with local dishes was served in front of the tents on low tables.

Great Safari with a great host

We loved every bit of it. Great hospitality by the camp, amazing food, entertaining activities but what made everything muchhh better was our Host Imran. He took his time to explain things to us, advise us on what to do and did not pressure us in time. Gave us the space we needed at the right time and was enjoyable to ride with. Thanks Imran and thank you to Ocean Air!

We had an amazing time. Imran went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and confortable. There were a variety of food and entertainment.

Amazing experience. We did the overnight camping safari. Made even more amazing by our guide Imran. Not only was he so helpful and accommodating but he’s a funny guy as well!

Awesome desert experience

Awesome tour, really get to see and experience desert in person. Our tour guide Mansoor was courteous and professional, and yet delightfully and fun to be around. One of the best guides that I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Great tour and a must do .

This tour is a must do . The camp is great and the food is non stop . I highly recommend it . We had Mansoor Manz and he was great !! Hakeem was amazing as well with his explanation of the stars and moon during the stargazing.

A Must have experience

Absolutely a must have experience if you visit Dubai. Great to see all the modern sights, but this was a real historical experience. We stayed overnight, great choice! Dune bashing was great, sandboarding fantastic, the camp staff was very nice, always attentive with what we needed. The tent we slept in was great and food more than fantastic - as I said, a must have experience overall!

Imran is the man

Had an amazing time with Imran. The food at the camp was delicious and we slept like babies. Sunset and sunrise were great.

Great food and show

Overall great experience. The food was excellent and the show and camel ride were entertaining. Staying overnight was comfortable with an air conditioned tent and comfortable beds. Mansoor Manz was a fantastic guide who was very friendly and made the whole trip much easier with a set timetable of all the events.

Definitely a must-do

Abbas Besso was the best guide and driver. The overnight camp was exception, the food was fantastic, and the accommodations beat our expectations. They provided toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, towels and toothbrush. The camp was very clean and well organized and had great entertainment.

Amazing experience for whole family

The Dubai Overnight Desert Safari was an unforgettable experience. The dune bashing ride, traditional Arabic coffee and dates, camel riding, sandboarding, henna painting, BBQ dinner, and stargazing were all fantastic. The staff was friendly, the activities were well-organized, and the food was delicious. Mansour, our tour leader during the Dubai Overnight Desert Safari, was exceptional. We nicknamed him "Mansour Wiki" due to his vast knowledge of the area. He was friendly, organized, punctual, and informative. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and included in all activities. Highly recommended.

Above and Beyond!

Mansoor Manz was a great tour guide. This trip was above and beyond what we expected. Every aspect of the trip was well thought out and we were given enough time to sandboard, dune bash, star gaze, ATV, and more! The food was delicious, the accommodations were lovely. Would be willing to spend multiple days at the camp ground!

Fantastic overnight stay at the camp

This trip well exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by our guide who picked us up from the hotel and took us to the camp. He went extra miles to make our experience perfect! At the camp site, staff are friendly and helpful. The entire schedule went so smoothly and flawless. Highly recommend an overnight stay at the camp to enjoy the starry night with mint tea and fresh fruit!

Wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time and the food was absolutely incredible! We only had 2 days in Dubai, and having this experience mixed in was a perfect combination of culture, experiencing unique activities, and your transitional touristy adventure. From pick up to drop off, the whole experience was smooth. If you’re staying over night, I’d recommend the following: shower shoes (if interested in having a quick rinse after a long day) and comfy clothes, especially pants for evening/early morning activity. Slip on shoes would be best as you have to keep taking your shoes on and off when entering tents and dining area. And don’t worry, you will not go hungry, they feed you the most amazing food throughout the evening, and breakfast was super yummy. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

Overnight bedoin experience with kids

We had a wonderful trip, the activities were fantastic, guides & staff were all helpful & friendly, food was delicious, beds we’re comfortable, entertainment was authentic. All in all we had a truly wonderful experience and would highly recommend to anyone. Our party was 3 adults & 2 children aged 7 & 9.

Simply exceptional

I do not have enough words to express how much I enjoyed this excursion. I’ve been to Dubai several times and have been to the desert numerous time for daytime excursions. This was my first time spending the night and it was simply spectacular. Just a special experience. my daughter and I stayed in a beautiful tent. The stargazing was lovely. The food was amazing and the morning camel ride to watch the sunrise. It’s just a special touch. The staff was simply exceptional. I will most definitely do this again when I come back.

Good tour and good guide Mansoon

We have enjoyed the trip very much and we would like to give credits to our awesome tour guide called Mansoon manz. He was great and helpful. He also shared with us lots of good advice and tips during the trip. I am sure everyone would enjoy and appreciate such a great guide!

SUPER FUN EXPERIENCE

This tour was amazing! Right off the bat, our tour guide, Mansoor Manz, was very welcoming and funny! He made the tour feel very comfortable and exciting! We went dune bashing, sand boarding, and spent the night watching Arabic performances with a three course meal. The camp had a lot of fun activities including henna, pictures with a falcon, traditional Arabic sweets tasting, and pictures in traditional Arabic clothing. Overall 10/10 experience!!!

Fantastic Experience!

Really well-organized tour with a nice timeline. Our guide Ramzan was very friendly, thorough, fun and accommodating. Everything from the activities to the food to the overnight tent was fantastic! The tour includes so much I felt like we had a week worth of experiences in one overnight trip! Pick up and drop off at the hotel was coordinated nicely and there was absolutely no stress at any point. One of the very best things we did during our vacation in Dubai, highly recommend! Five stars!

Super overnight experience

Dune bashing, sand boarding, star gazing with a fantastic view of the moon and sleeping in a tent (glamping style). I already love spending time in the desert and even more after this experience. Great solo or with group of friends

An unforgettable experience

It was an amazing tour! My son and I got so many different impressions that is impossible to name them all. There is one fact that I would like to stress in particular. It is our guide Mansoor Manz who made the day a special one. His friendliness and his way to talk to us as well as the support he has offered will always be remembered by us. Please ask for him as your tour guide. Besides, he is a marvellous driver.

Incredible experience

Phenomenal trip! Everything was perfect, from our arrival into the desert and ATV trip through the overnight to the sunrise camel trip. Abbas and his team were incredible, everything was thoughtful and beautiful, and the Al Khyma camp was excellent. I can’t recommend this experience enough and would do it over and over again if I could!

Great experience out of the Dubai city…

This was a great experience. Riding the ATV’s and the dune bashing were so much fun. Highly recommend overnight stay at the camp. Food and activities were great staff excellent! Accommodation at the camp was wonderful, very comfortable. We had a session with a gentlemen with the telescope at night which was great.

Awesome experience with my child

My 6-year-old son and I had an amazing time in this camp. There are so many fun activities but also opportunities to relax. The food was delicious and the shows were awesome. The tent we slept in was very spacious and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us feel home. I will strongly recommend this overnight tour.

Rushed

Rushed. Wish we had more time to just chill in the same dunes. Activities were very fun but didn't feel like we soaked it in.. everything was very rushed

Excellent Evening with the Excellent guide

We had an excellent evening doing quad bike, dune bashing, sand surfing and photoshoot with our representative Mr. Mansoor Manz. He was excellent in every aspect, guiding us with facts about UAE and dubai and guiding us through evening. Al khayma camp was excellent with all the activities like hena, camel riding, camel feeding, sunset, fire show, local dressup and photoshoot, falcon photos. And food was really tasty. Thank you all for an amazing trip.

Overnight desert adventure

Booked the trip very last minute 1 day before the actual departure date. Our guide Vicky was on time, friendly. The whole experience is great, sand bashing was fun, camel riding was great, lots of food choices, and making sure you are very well fed. There is performance as well. The overnight "tent" was clean as well. Only thing is the shower facilities doesnt have hot water.

Absolute wonderful experience for a nice outing in the desert with great activities, entertainment, and food. Our tour guide Mansoor Manz was incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable on various topics. I would recommend him as a tour guide.

Amazing Family Tour

Absolutely AMAZING tour! We are a family of 5, traveling with our three kids (15,14,11). From camel rides, dune bashing, epic sunset/sunrise in the desert, we experienced it all. We had a private tent set up for our entire family, based on the bed configuration we requested. The food was amazing. The service was incredible. Our guide, Imran, was wonderful. He made us feel so comfortable and kept us informed about what to expect, each part of the tour. He was even our own personal photographer. We could not have been more thrilled with our experience. They even had showers for us to wash up at the end of the night. Beware that the water is cold… but that only adds to the experience!

Nice experience

The entire trip was fantastic, the kids and adults enjoyed the night stay with great foods and performance and dune bash the most. Thanks for our tourist guider Mansoor Manz who is caring and patient. He is the highlight in this trip.

Overnight Safari Desert Experience

The guide Mansoor Manz was superb. I booked very last minute due to being let down by another tour operator and he was immediately in contact with me to re-assure me everything ok. Communication was excellent throughout, texting slight delays to pick up time due to traffic and once the evening entertainment ended and he left the campsite (it was an overnight stay that he wasn’t involved in) texted later on to check everything was still ok and bed and accommodation was to my satisfaction. His knowledge of Dubai and the activities booked were second to none and his friendly nature put the whole group at their ease. I was paired with a French family where only two members spoke English so he would always pause regularly to allow them to translate what he was explaining to the others. It really was a shame that we couldn’t finish the whole experience with him (another driver drove us back the following morning as Mansoor had another group for the early morning safari to look after) so we could thank him properly and tell him all about our exciting night in a desert thunderstorm - just can’t book the weather!

Desert vibes!

Manzoor is an amazing host! The tour is filled with adventure, excitement and great feel of the dessert experience. I highly recommend spending the night for some star gazing.

A must do well planned packed trip. Total value for money.

What a memorable and exciting trip it was. Our driver & guide Mansoor, was well planned and organized, given us ample amount to time do all the activities and always kept us informed about the next steps. We first stopped at a place for ATV ride (paid extra). Mansoor fixed me up with a ATV ride guide. The ATV ride was very exciting and fun and duration was also worth the value. Then we didn't the fun dune bashing. Our driver put some fun arabic music on for a background effect. Then we stopped for some photos and sand boarding. Then we went to the Al khayma. There we did so so many exciting things. Camel ride (Sunset and sunrise), photo with falcon, Arabian Coffer, delicious Dinner with 3 types of cuisines. Arabic cultural dance shows. A big shout out to ISHTIAQ, an attendant at Al khayma camp. He was so friendly and attentive. He came up to us multiple times to check if we needed anything, if the food was okay etc. The overnight camp was beautiful. It felt like a bedroom of an Arabian prince.

Oh my God! This experience was spectacular! There was so much attention to detail, first class service from the employees and the facilities were impeccable. The overnight tent was amazing. I highly recommend this tour and that you stay overnight in the camp.
