Dubai Modern City Tour with Mono Rail

FKNG BAD!!!! DANGEROUS!!!! LEFT STRANDED!!!!!

Ok, so the tour itself would have been great hadn’t it been for the rain. Mind you, this country doesn’t do well with rain. They know this, we don't. So instead of warning us, they went ahead with the tour anyway. He didn't explain that the last spot we came to was the end of the tour. We left our things on the bus, that he help retrieved, however, he LEFT US STRANDED!!!!! HE KNEW THAT GETTING A TAXI WOULD BE TAXING!!! VERY TRAUMATIC experience!!!! My Mom and I were there from 2pm till MIDNIGHT, WALKING THROUGH DIRTY WATER TO GET TO UBERS THAT CANCELLED!!! THIS IS A PROBLEM!!!! SO NO THIS WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! THEY SHOULD HAVE CANCELLED THE TOUR!!!!

Modern Dubai in a nutshell with a great guide

Very pleasant, safe and informative tour with Mehboob 😊in a relatively short time 9.40-13.15 we managed to see the palace of Sheikh Al Maktoum, buy some gifts in Souk Madinat, Jumeraih, ride a monorail to Palm Jumeraih and walk around Dubai Marina. Mehboob is a very hospitable guide and did his best to make as feel welcomed and well-informed. Thank you!

Tour with Rizwan

I really enjoyed my tour of the city of Dubai with Grayline, the driver who took me is kind and friendly, he took me to really wonderful places, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah beach, among others, I highly recommend it, ask to travel with the Rizwan guide driver, I loved it.

Nice trip on the monorail

We liked the trip from Dubai Mall, got on the monorail and headed towards Atlantis. Grayline provided headphones for use. Also one is able to select any selected language to understand the tour.

Lay of the land

The pickup from the hotel was great, one less travel worry to figure out. I loved getting a feel for the area on my first day of vacation. The guide was great and helpful.

My Dubai Modern City Tour

My Dubai Modern City Tour by Gray Line is one of the best tours I have experienced so far. The tour guide, Mr. Rifky, is very approachable and responsive to my chats/inquiries about the tour. He did well in touring us in The Palm, Dubai Marina, and Dubai Mall. I highly recommend Gray Line to others who want to tour around the city.

Amazing !

This tour was amazing. I had Rifky and truly wonderful tour. Highly recommend! We went on the Mono Rail and had basically front seats. He gave information along the way which was really helpful. I felt safe traveling solo!

Disappointing

This was a really disappointing trip. I had booked in advance as we had very limited time in Dubai. We were collected from our hotel and then taken to the main bus where we sat for quite some time till other people joined it ( who were already on an established trip with this bus) . This took up a full hour. The commentary was nothing really exceptional - an awful lot was said about the Atlantis by the guide which we didn’t think really necessary or interesting. The mono-rail which I had really looked forward to - was really non-descript. We were dropped off back at the Mall - I hadn’t realised this was to be the case - had wrongly assumed from reading an earlier review that we were to be dropped back at our hotel. At the taxi rank we were literally pounced on by a chap flagging down a taxi for us which turned out to be a far pricier ‘limousine’ than the usual taxis. Therefore it cost us 3 times as much to return to our hotel. It would have been courteous for our guide to have at least warned us of this beforehand. So sadly we certainly did not feel that we had enjoyed our brief view of Dubai.

Dubai city tour

The trip was amazing and Rifky - the guide served like icing on the cake. He provided with detailed information about the places. He was patient as well with the passengers.

shorter than foreseen (1 h less) and too fast

Started 1 h later but ended at foreseen time, the tour lasted 3 hours instead of 4. We were pushed to be in a hurry, almost running behind the guide that was leading us, who did not tell us anything else than: "let's go, stay together as a group, you have 10 min for photos". At least there was the audioguide but sometimes it was interrupted by the guide who was asking to get out the bus.

Best trip I have ever had

Thanks to Modern City Tour of Dubia my vacation to this wonderful country was beyond my expectations.

Bad customer service

Julian was great tour guide but the whole event started badly when the company forgot to pick us up. After an hour wait, and calling both driver and company, we got picked up but no apology from driver. Very rude!! Then we were left on bus waiting, with no explanation tthat we missed first part of tour due to being late...

<p>We were picked up at the hotel on time and taken on a great tour of Modern Dubai, the guide was very knowledgeable, we saw so much , Atlantis Hotel The Palm,Dubai Marina, Burj Kalifa,Ski Dubai to name but a few. We would not have been able to take in all the sights in such a short timescale, and as always dropped off safely at the hotel, no hassle.</p>

We have had very good treatment. This experience is necessary if you go to a place like Dubai because going alone you can miss out on many activities.

Regular. Nada que destacar.

No nos pareció especialmente malo, pero tampoco bueno. Empezó con media hora de retraso y acabó una hora antes, por lo tanto bastante lejos de la duración anunciada. Proporcionaron unos cascos para que cada uno escuchara la audioguía en su idioma. El guía no aportó mucho más a la experiencia. En conclusión, no hay mucha diferencia con un servicio hop-on hop-off.
