Fabulous vacation

I want to thank Nawaz for the transport to the Desert. Nawaz was kind, very friendly and very helpful. Allow me to add that he takes excellent photos. He picked us up in a timely manner and we returned in a timely manner. Upon arrival Nawaz explained to us in full detail about the tour, dinner and shows. If and when I return to Dubai I would consider taking any tours with Nawaz.

Awesome experience

Really nice experience and our driver was awesome. The driver picked us up from home and dropped us back after the excursion for an extra 50 AED. The back seat of the SUV is uncomfortable hence the 4 stars instead of 5 stars. When the rough driving starts it's better to be in the front or the middle seats

Incredible experience

A one of a kind experience! I experienced a desert tour with the guide Naveed with my wife and 3 year old child, among the sand dunes, sliding on the sandboard, fantastic photos at sunset and finally relaxing with dinner included in the camp and camel ride. The guide was always thoughtful, kind and patient and exuded maximum trust.

Not what I was promised

The driver and car was ok but on the way back he was constantly on his phone texting. The desert experience was good but I wished I had booked the tour at our hotel using their recommended tour guides. This specific tour trip was a waste of money. The show was below average (a school performance is a hundred times better) the food absolutely terrible! We were constantly badgered into buying extra! We were wondering what we paid for! We could not wait for the night to be over! Book via your hotel if you’re staying at a 5 star one!

Worst guided experience I’ve ever had

I don’t ever write reviews but I feel compelled to do so after this experience. I’ll start at the beginning. Our driver picked us up 2 hours late and didn’t even introduce himself or say one word to us. He then proceeded to yell at someone on the phone for about 30 minutes while we went out to the dunes and never once told us what we were going to be doing or discuss anything about the trip or local culture. Next we got to the dunes. I had assumed that since the quad bikes were optional there would be other activities for the people that didn’t opt-in to use them. There were not. We had to just sit around and watch the people that were using the quads. To make matters worse the only seating were broken down plastic chairs that snapped as soon as my friend sat down (he’s 140 lbs). After this we took the suv to the outer dunes which was actually pretty cool. Our guide stopped and gave us absolutely no direction. We soon figured out that this was the spot to do the sand boarding. We did this for about 5 minutes before the “guide” started beeping (didn’t even get out the car to talk to us). At this point only half the group had gone and I had to run and talk to one of the other guides to give us the board so my friend could go. Also the falcon was out in this area but you could only take pictures with it if you paid extra (total rip off). Next we went to the area for the camel rides and dinner. Once again our guide gave us no direction at all and we were totally lost as to what to do. We found out that there was a “free camel ride” which was included in our package. Meanwhile the “good” camel ride costs extra and is not included (of course). Our camel ride lasted for approximately 2 minutes where we walked in a circle. Compared to other places we have done this, this was by far the worst camel ride we had and the staff really just made you feel like you were a number and they didn’t care at all. Next was the show. There were about 500 other people all crowded in this little fenced off area outside. As soon as they put food out everyone went crazy and rushed for the food. The food was supposed to be BBQ but ended up being mostly vegetarian Indian food and at the end they gave you two small pieces of “bbq” chicken about the size of a quarter. The show after that was pretty good but our guide tried to make us leave before it even finished. Overall this was one of the worst, most poorly run trips I’ve ever taken. The staff was not friendly and the activities were rushed and not at all geared toward having an enjoyable or unique experience. This is the only trip Ive ever been on where I wanted my money back at the end.

A must have on you to do list in case you visit Dubai

Best way to spend an afternoon. Hotel pick up was on time, dune bashing is a must in case you visit Dubai. The camp was well organised and the shows were spectacular.

Amazing desert safari

My whole family enjoyed a lot in desert safari but at evening dinner was a bit late. We had to wait in que but it's acceptable for tourist spots like these . The entertainment show was amazing. The belly dancer was very beautiful and the fireshow was incredible. Highly recommended.

Amazing desert safari

The warm weather did not stop us to go for this much sought after Desert Safari tour. Booked directly with this company as it was refered by a friend who tried thier service twice. We were not disappointed! We were given the best safari guide and driver Ahmed who is so professional on wheels but humorous and cheerful. We had a blast with the dune bashing and sand boarding activity. We also did short camel ride and smoked some sheesha... The food was good and dance shows are really entertaining specially the fire show! We will do this again next time!

Our guide Abbas was amazimh

Everything was good as expected and paid for but our guide Abbas khan was the best. He guided us for the best of his services, everything that we asked for was provided, he saved us alot of money with the extras by being really honest and he even was our photographer, who took great pics n now we have great memories that is saved with us for the rest of our life. Whenever you go always ask for this guy n youre welcome.

A great tour

I Bert strongly recommend Abbas safari guide. The tour guide was an amazing drive and very friendly. The show and extra activities were also very fun. All in all a great experience!!

Best Trip

Dubai Desert Red Dune Half-Day Safari Adventure and BBQ dinner is an amazig trip. The safari guide is very friendly and accommodating. Very clean vehicle with mask and sanitizer. The dune bashing was terrific and sand boarding is fun. We did camel ride which was short but was told can if we want. Dinner is qood with varieties of BBQ'ed meat. Fire show was the topnoch of the entertainment show. Overall, the experience was more than amazing!

Best Safari experience ever!!

It was an awesome experience overall, staff was super friendly they help you with everything. They look out for your best interest. There are locals try to over price and sell you things and the staff shuts them down or make them give you a fair deal. I love everything about the tour and the staff. I recommend these guys 100%.

Fantastic family trip highly recommended.

We booked the half day desert safari with sand boarding, camel rides and BBQ dinner with entertainment. The trip was well organised. They collected us (me, my husband and 7 year old daughter) from our hotel. Our guild wad very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout with great amounts of knowledge on Dubai. As a family we had a fantastic day and experience. You still need to take some money for additional extras if desired. We did the quad biking as an extra which was great fun.

Thrilling Experience with Sand Dunes

It was Amazing Half-Day Safari Tour to UAE Deserts. We started in the afternoon at around 3 PM. From Dubai City area, it is about an hour long drive to desert area. the group of 5 to 6 special Jeeps stops at the end of Tar Road - before we enter the Sand area. they deflate the tires to half so that it becomes suitable for Sand Ride. Now you are asked to hold the handle bars tight and Seat Belt is Must as the vehicle enters the Sand Dunes. As the specially trained driver speed up the vehicle, there is Sand waves all around - Outside your vehicle. many times you cannot see in front. It is Just Sand and Sand and Sand everywhere. Then after about 45 Min ride in the Sand Dunes, we reached a dessert Hotel for the evening snacks, Sheesha and belly dance party. Dinner is served in the same place and then you return back after 8:30 PM.

Fun, Fun Fun

IMO, this package offers much more than I expected. We were picked up at our hotel in a Toyota 4x4 vehicle, equipped with an interior roll-bar. We drove out to the desert - perhaps an hour's ride away, where we headed into the sand dunes for a roller-coaster ride of twists and turns which were "just-enough" to make the ladies yell a bit as you think you might turn over (you don't) on some of the edges of the dunes. We stopped for photographs and caught the sunset. Next, to the desert tent for dinner. Think of this as a sort of desert circus, with various events. Now, do not be fooled. This is not an intimate dinner within your own tent, but rather a party with 500 of your closest new friends. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable. We started with an (optional) camel ride; the animals are smelly and the (short) ride uncomfortable, but let's face it, you are here in the Arabian desert, so why not? Next, the food.....more than ample, in fact, excessive amounts of different foods and everyone will something that they enjoy. Open cash bar is available if you so choose. The entertainment is predictable and marginal - belly dancer and fire dancers. Large, relatively clean rest rooms are available. Then a stop at the falcon handler, up close and personal - be advised, if you put the falcon on your arm, he will expect money (10 UAE Dinears, or $2.50) for that privilege. Finally, a stop at the native costume stall. This fellow has an entire tent filled with different sizes of native dress and you can be fitted into one of them for a photo opportunity. Do it! You will come to really appreciate the photos once you get home. Back to the beginning: This was great fun, with something for everyone to enjoy, plus you are in the Arabian desert! I strongly recommend this tour.

Splendid desert ride - average BBQ Dinner

The ride in the dessert was just great - just a bit scaring in the good way! Very competent driver. The dinner was planned to give us the beautiful view of the sunset - but the time table didn't give us much time to eat - we had to leave before dessert.

"Amazing Desert Safari"

Our guide "Nawaz Afridi" was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout our entire trip. The day started by being picked up from my hotel in a 4x4 style jeep. The interior was very clean and equipped with a safety roll cage for dune bashing. We picked up 1 other couple and headed to the dunes. We made a brief stop for water, restrooms, and letting the air out of the tires (less air in the tires is best for driving over the sand). The dune bashing was a little scary, but I enjoyed the experience. When we stopped on the dunes, we took some awesome photos and got an opportunity to sand-surf. So AMAZING!!! When we stopped briefly for quad-running, I opted out from biking but it looked like a lot of fun. The BBQ camp was an unforgettable experience. We rode a camel, enjoyed traditional food buffet, and live entertainment. This trip was truly worth it. I've never had a experience like this. Thank you Nawaz!!

Great day worth every penny

The day started off with a pickup from my hotel door, we then picked up another 2 groups of 3. The 4x4s are well equipped and are fitted with a roll cage for extra safety, the interior was very clean, well trimmed and comfortable. Our driver did the safari first which involves some off roading on red sand dunes and then the quad biking. Both were great fun, most of the car were really enjoying it. There was a young 7 y/o girl with us who found it a bit scary at first but came around. The quad biking was good fun and worth the extra money in my opinion. The BBQ at the camp was excellent. On our tour we sat on cushions at low tables surrounding a stage. The food was good and the main course is a buffet which filled a gap alright, no shortage of food. They brought some around as seconds. There are lots of other things to do at the camp. Henna tatoos, shisha and some other stalls with more food and drink. All very welcoming and inclusive. The entertainment was excellent all things considered. Belly dancing, fire breathing, traditional dancing... you really get a sense of culture at the BBQ. all around a great day, worth every penny.

Desert Safari

A great afternoon and evening out. Our driver Momin was great he picked us up early was very knowledgable and a very good driver over the dunes. The show at the desert camp was very good with a good selection of food. It was very well organised.

So much fun!

Didnt know what to expect, but this was an absolute blast! Dune bashing is exactly what we did in the red desert sand of Dubai. Nonstop thrills as our guide bashed the dunes in our SUV. Then after the thrilling ride, we stopped to take gorgeous sunset pictures, then off to a camp for a traditional Arabian BBQ dinner with belly dancers and camel rides. A definite must! LOVED our tour guide Edna! He made sure it was a thrill of a lifetime.

Dunebashing with Abbas

The dunebashing was a new and exciting experience for us +55 ladies! We were never afraid and trusted the excellent driving qualities of our guide Abbas who explained also to the boy next to him how you must tackle the dunes.The BBQ was tasty and the show of belly dancers, fire dancer etc.could be changed by a more authentic program.The guide made very nice pictures of the group end sent it. We had difficulties in receiving them and Abbas accompanied us to our hotel where we have WiFi and stayed with us until the problem was solved. Very attentive. Everybody of the group enjoyed the excursion and we would certainly recommend it. We had a great trip!

Great driver but.........

Easy to book but just after we realised it was Eid so asked whether the entertainment was still on, we were told yes it was, so we continued with the booking. Our driver collected us on time and was a nice guy, English not great but much better than my Arabic! After some drive we reach a staging post where we stayed for about 30minutes, really pestered by guys trying to sell rubbish. We then went on a great ride through the dunes, really fun, in a land cruiser, made even better by our great driver, we all loved it. We then got to the camp for the entertainment, NO ENTERTAINMENT BECAUSE OF EID! I understand it’s a holiday and totally respect that but we specifically asked whether it was still on and it wasn’t, no discount on price for this and remember you can’t get a beer either as it’s a dry day. So we would definitely do this again, you can’t miss the dune fun but check your dates and do not listen to what they are telling you unfortunately

Daring and Delicious

The tour was an adventure of fun and excitement. Be prepared to laugh, scream, indulge and enjoy! Nawaz, our guide was a dare-devil and fun to hang with. We made friends from the UK and shared some great times! Get a good night's rest beforehand, you will need plenty of energy to keep up! I will never forget the thrill of the dune buggy driving, sandboarding, etc.! Great time!!!

Has an absolutely amazing experience on this tour. Couldn’t recommend it enough! We were only in Dubai for only 2 days and this was the best part of the trip!

Fun in the Desert

You want to do this trip to see the desert and have fun doing a wild car ride in the sand. The added evening in the camp with a meal, various dancers, and other things sounds good but turned out to be cheesy. What is absolute unnecessary are the stops on the way at some "supermarkets".

Awesome experience!

Nadeem made sure we had a great time! Happy with our experience. The cars however are tricky (they can get stuck...tires have to have the right air pressure etc) so don’t be surprised if you make frequent pit stops. If you feel like you need more time to take pics etc...tell them so! Other than that...it was awesome and I’d recommend them to others!

we went to the safari it was so beautiful we had so much fun. the tour guide nawaz was so nice and friendly we loved it.

Really awesome experience

It was a really great experience, driving around in the dessert en enjoy what looks like is impossible to achieve with a car. It's a very bumpy ride but our driver managet to bring us home save end look after all the passengers in the car. During the ride their was a brief photo moment, where were able to take some beautiful photo's. Also our driver took some amazing photo's which we received later in the evening. When you go to Dubai, this is event not to mis.

Best Safari Experience

We have done desert safari before but this time it was a different experience. Dune bashing was awesome, sand boarding was fun too. After that camel ride and dinner in the camp with entertainment shows were amazing. Overall a wonderful experience. Recommended to all. Thank you Top 10 for such a great service

It was a such of great experience and the staff is more than friendly. Every activities is a must to see and do. I recommend it if you visit Dubai. We really enjoyed our time and Nadeem our guide was the best ever.

Amazing Experience

The dune bashing was great- no major complaints. From start to finish, it was just superb. Our “guide” was probably the best“ guide” in the entire world. At best he was polite helpful and a calm driver. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Good trip!

Good half day trip to the dunes. The best part was the dune bashing (driving in the desert with the jeep quite fast). Our driver Mustafa was great, was on time, drove well and told us what the different places were on the way. The BBQ dinner was nice. It was ramadan so no alcohol drinks or belly dancing this time. Good value for money.

Some Good / Some Bad

Our driver was fantastic. The dunes were a lot of fun. The quads and motorcycle rentals were bad. I wanted to leave the place before I got out of the vehicle. They take you to the middle of nowhere, then try to rent you crappy, child like quads and motorcycles for 3 or 4 times what should. If your bored and just want to have a water or soda and just wait till you can leave, they'll sell you one for $6. The BBQ was horrible. The show wasnt bad. I left the BBQ with a few extra flea bites. The camel ride was for a total of about 50 feet. The people in Dubai are very nice, you will always feel safe, but, if you dont know the going rate of something, they are not adverse to gouging you for as much as they can.

An Amazing Family Visit

A great trip from start to finish Hussain our driver was very knowledgeable and a very experienced driver. We had two children aged 5 and 9 and they both loved it. there is something for everyone I would highly recommend this experience

Great experience, great guide

The agent in our hotel was charging 3x the price for a similar trip, so found this one via trip advisor. Saw a previous review about a guide called Sohail and we were lucky enough to have him for the day. Very easy going and friendly, although the music in his car was perhaps a bit too loud. Our kids had a blast on the quad bikes, the dune bashing was awesome, and the meal/entertainment was great. It was agreed way to round off a fabulous stay in Dubai. Many thanks.

Family visit to desert

An experience of the desert is outstanding. To drive around with jeep is amazing. The driver arrived in time to the hotel and was a very experienced person to drive upp and down hills of sand. Unfortunately, not so much information was given, and I guess that it depends on how lucky you are with the driver. Our driver was just a good driver, and not a guide at all. We were not able to test a camel drive due to the queing people around. We were not been able to do other activities as we got information about them intill it was too late. Information about table number came too late - our table was occupied partially by other tourists. Good experience, not happy about guiding service, which was almost invisible 🤷‍♀️ I am giving 3 stars thanks to wonderful nature of desert dunes, not for guiding organization

We had the best afternoon/evening in the desert, the dune bashing was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we wish to thank Sohail, he was a great tour guide to have, he made it fun and exciting and was very helpful even helping to take photos, we couldn’t have asked for any more from him. We had an amazing experience

We booked through TripAdvisor, price was reasonable. Our tour guide Sohail was great, arrived in time , really helpful . Whole experience was amazing . Kids loved the camel ride and Henna . Desert ride was thrilling. Highly recommend top ten dubai tours to everyone.
