Great time! Left the hotel at 7 and we were back by around 10:30 - plenty of time for the rest of the day. Camel ride and quad ride was the perfect amount of time. Our tour guides were brilliant at mobile photography and got some great shots! Also, note that the tour guides do not accept any tips - the price of the tour includes all compensation for guides!

A great way to kick off your morning in the desert

Was a fantastic morning adventure with Khan. It was just me and a friend for the excursions which allowed us to do more quad time then normal. Which was great given both of us were quad riders normally. The whole tour felt tailored to our needs with experts taking you out and ensuring they captures as much footage for you as possible. Highly recommend if you want a morning out in the desert!

Truly, one of a kind experience!! Speaking not only for myself but for my colleagues as well, this was by far one of the highlights to our trip in Dubai!! Loved every second from ATV's to sand boarding to the camel rides! Highly recommend - unforgettable experience!

Amazing quads and camels

This experience was so much fun. Loved the quad bikes and riding the camels. We also got to feed them which was very fun. Wish I could do it all again !

I loved the desert tour and all the activities we did there. We did quad biking, camel riding and visited the camel farm. All the guides were very nice and helpful, this trip i would say was the best thing we did at Dubai. I would always book these trips when I come Dubai.

All in One

This was a good experience to get an all in one experience. The morning time definitely allows for it not to be too hot in the day. Each activity is timed well and is the right amount of time to experience each one. It is a bit overpriced for what you do and seems very "canned" but otherwise worthwhile.

Once in a lifetime experience!

Me and my friend (two women) had a phenomenal time on this tour. Our guide, Mohammed, picked us up and took us to the desert. He was knowledgeable and made us feel welcomed and safe. We rode ATVs in the desert, sand boarded and got to ride a camel. He and the other guides there took great pictures of us! Because of Covid, travel is down all over the world - but don’t let that stop you! People were masks, follow precautions and there is hand sanitizer everywhere. This tour was epic and definitely an once in a lifetime experience! Don’t miss this!! It was the highlight of our trip.

Its a great experience to ride Quad bike, Sandboarding and camel ride in the desert. This was my first time in desert and it was the worth the money..My guide for the trip was Mohammed he picked us up on time and very punctual and polite. Great service and so much fun!

We had an awesome experience with Ghulam who came directly to our hotel to pick us up bright and early to start our adventure. We rode off into the desert for approximately 45 minutes from the Dubai Marina Mall where we started the journey into the sand dunes of the UAE. After about 20 minutes of flying around the dunes in a big Toyota 4x4, we reached our destination at a Camel Farm. From there, we roared off further into the dunes on quad bikes through brief steep climbs and decent, just enough to keep the blood pumping in the wee early AM. Upon reaching one of the larger dunes, we sand boarded down the dunes and had the opportunity to take fun pictures. This is where Ghulam shined. He knows all the best poses, the perfect angles and is amazing with a camera. We then rode back to the farm and mounted up onto a Camel for a ride around the farm. Again, the guide was a fantastic photographer and took spectacular photos of my wife and I on the camel. Overall the trip was just under 4 hours and was absolutely worth it! Would recommended for sure!

Our guide, Mohammed went above and beyond. He was very informative about everything on our drive to the desert. I've driven an atv many times but atv in the desert is whole different ballgame. Whatever you do it will be fun!

Rushed

The ride to the desert was longer than the tour. The 4 hour tour was approximately 45 minutes. The entire tour was rushed. From the 4wd drive to the camel farm. The camel farm was literally us driving by as we were leaving. Please don't use this tour.

Dubai Desert

We chose the morning Desert 4X4 tour considering we wanted the entire day to ourselves. Mohammed picked us up exactly at 7 AM. He is an excellent guide / driver and took us to al khayma desert (roughly a 45 mins drive from DIFC). The quad bike and sand boarding experience was a first time for me and was quite nice. I would certainly recommend Mohammed from Sand Trax for these trips. His party also consists of 3 other guys managing the tour - Ataullah (Quad Bike Specialist), Hussein and Rashid (the guy at the Camel farm). All in all a fun 4 hour tour and we were back at the hotel by 10:45 AM!

Unique Experience!

Our driver and guide was Chocolate Khan. A very nice and friendly man, who guided us the whole trip. Everything was well arranged and in a small Group. Really fun to do! Quality first here !

The camel farm is nothing grand, just a bunch of camels behind a fence. This excursion was a great price for so much to do and a must do when visiting dubai.</p>

Best experience yet!

This was an epic adventure. We booked through the company Viator who subsequently booked it through ‘Dream Journey Tourism’. Our tour guide honestly was the best out of the bunch - a lot of companies do this experience and our tour guide MAQSOOD got us the best seats at the dinner BBQ, told us the best time to see and hold the falcon, knew the best way to the dunes - he made our experience better than the rest. The experience itself was epic - dune bashing was so much fun but not for the faint hearted (we saw a few people stopping to pull over and be sick!) sand boarding was so much fun and, again, our guide was great at giving advice on how to stay up, and the BBQ was delicious. There was an opportunity to get henna tattoos, hold the falcon, ride the camel, dress up in the Arabic get up, see belly dancing, smoke shisha and soft drinks were all included. My advice - be careful who you book with! 100% recommend!

Dubai in 12 hours. Fun Time, just careful on the sandboard

We only had one full day to experience Dubai on a layover. We planned the Dubai Desert in the morning, then the Burj with the 148 Floor obersvatory (book weeks before to make sure you get the right time), and then a quick taxi over to the Mall to ski indoors. Back at the airport by 6:30pm top be on a 8:15pm flight. The Dubai Desert was fun. We started on the quads and drove around a bit. The speeds they keep you at are safe. They stop on a dune and pull out some sand boards. Everyone fell and one guy hurt his shoulder. The boards don't have straps on them, so they are not like snowboards. Boarding on sand is way different and some people took some good falls. I would skip this if you can and just watch others. Not when you have no time to go to the hospital and miss your connecting flight anyway. They lead you to the camels from there and you ride them around the corner to your transportation back. The camel ride isn't the best on your bum, but it was fun and quick. 3-4 hours with the drive time.

Really nice night filled with fun and the cost matches what is included. Dune ride was great, guides take cool pics for you. Atv ride was In a small circle, but fun. If you want a longer guided tour, you need to book ahead. A couple did it and highly recommended it! The camel ride was a little sad. We felt bad for the camels and couldn't go through with the "ride". There were just two camels and a lot of people. It was only a two minute ride behind the camp. I think taking pics with them would have sufficed and maybe if you want a real camel ride in the dessert, you would need to book ahead. That way there are more camels per person and less stress on the camels. The camp included henna tattoos, falcon demo, coffee and dates upon arrival. Opportunity to dress up and take pics in local garb, dancing, dinner food was ok. Alcohol not included. A can of beer was $10. Seating area was comfortable.

Enjoyed the quad biking, sand boarding and camel ride... only complaint was the 4 wheel drive that picked us up from the hotel had a metal bar in the seat which caused me great pain...you need new more comfortable vehicles to transport so many people to the Venus which is a good hour at high speed away. The driver also used his hone whilst driving which worried me

Took us about a 45 min drive to the starting location. </p> <p>We went through about 5 min of 44 dunes...On the way back, we realized that what we paid for was not dune riding. It was just driving through the dunes slowly to get to the camp. If I had known this, I would have gone with a different tour co as the others I read included the dune riding for a similar price. </p> <p>Atv's... told we had to stay in one line behind the guide and of course he was going slow and kept stopping to check if everyone is staying in line. So if you're looking for a thrill, this isn't it. And I should mention their tour advertisement says Open the throttle and race along ... there is no opening the throttle or racing along.... its more of a follow the leader as slowly as you can and don't go out of line by even a foot or else he will stop!</p> <p>Sand boarding... Once you go down the dune you have to bring the sand board and walk back up the hill in the heat and takes a good exhausting 7 min walk. You can't do it more than once because it's exhausting coming back up. They have an atv sitting there that if they wanted they could pick you up in and bring you back up but they don't bother spending gas to save you strength and allow you more time to actual do the sand boarding. </p> <p>Camel ride. Not fun. Our camel kept kicking his leg out which kept throwing us off balance and we couldn't relax and enjoy the ride at all. </p> <p>Got back to the car and car had a flat tire. We Sat in car for 25 min while they tried to change the tire. They couldn't figure out how to release the spare tire from the back of the car. Finally a tourist told them that they are missing a part that releases the tire. So we waited for another 10 min until they went and found the correct piece. Our tour guide later said he didn't know how to change the tire! 50 min later we finally hit the road to the camel prison! Fenced area with barbed wire surrounding the camels. Not happy!</p>

<p>We were not pre warned about the amount of time it would take to reach the destination, we actually spent more time in the car there and back then completing the activities. The staff lacked customer interaction and made it a little awkward at times. We have travelled a long way to visit such a beautiful country it would have been nice if we weren't rushed through the activities and given a break in between in a shaded area. The staff should interact a lot more with their visitors and possible give us some interesting facts or history. Overall I wouldn't recommend this tour to others because of this but this can definitely be improved with some minor changes.</p>

<p>We have just come back from a stopover in Dubai, and would highly recommend this tour. As it was about 45 degs during the day, I booked a morning safari, but be warned, it's still very hot out there! Our guide picked us up as expected, although I called the day before to confirm I'd given the right hotel information. He was lovely, although unfortunately I can't remember his name, something like Winjata? I mention this because he was great to chat to and just a really nice guy and I hope someone lets him know! There were 5 of us in the 4x4, and only 1 of the group was chatty, the others not so, and this makes a huge difference to your trip. There was plenty of water, and toilet facilities once you get to the desert. The quad biking was awesome, and having done some research, I would really recommend wearing long trousers and long sleeved clothing - you will burn otherwise! Don't forget your sunglasses too. You get given a helmet and are guided and feel safe at all times. I got stuck going up a dune but with the breaks on, you don't move and my guide came running over to help. The sand duning was fun but I could only manage to go down once. That's the easy part, i had a minor asthma attack trying to walk back up the dune, it's exhausting even though you wouldn't think so. Also i was wearing sandals, and the sand was BURNING my feet!! I can't describe the pain! You then do some camel riding for about 10-15mins. My first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. All in all, absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much to the guides for making it such an enjoyable first experience.</p>

The tour was great. The 4 wheelers were very fun! I don't really like the sand boarding but that's a personal preference. It had nothing to do with the tour guide or the company itself.
