The tour was great. Naser bhaijan, guided us properly. It was full of excitement and fun. Too many activities were there. We are very much satisfied with this tour.

Awesome Experience with Mehul and Bahzor!

We had to best of the best Tour Guide (Mehul) and Tour Bus Driver (Bahzor) for eight whole days. When I say they took great care of us, I can't even begin to give them all of the praise they deserve. Mehul knows Dubai. He gave us so much information about Dubai and Abu Dhabi. His knowledge is phenomenal and he has a great sense of humor. He was our Silver Fox. Bahzor got us to all of destinations safe and on time and always had a smile. He really knows how to maneuver that big bus. Awesome!

Excellent Tour!! Great Tour Guides!

The city tour was very informative and included entrance into the Dubai museum which was great because I would not have gone on my own necessarily. The Dubai Creek crossing was great. I really enjoyed our tour guide for this portion. The next day our tour guide was Nowfar T.K and he was an excellent driver and accommodating tour provider. The tour itself was great from the pick-up at our hotel in the Palm Island to the desert sand dunes. There were plenty of photo ops in the desert and an opportunity to purchase time (only 15m-20m) on the 4x4 if you chose. The falcon show was short and sweet but very entertaining and educational. I do wish the camel ride was longer than just a walk a circle but I guess it made for a decent photo op. The food was tasty and the entertainment was plentiful. Based off of this experience I would definitely book my excursions in Dubai with Orient Tours on my next visit.

<p>Excellent tour. They also accomodated us during Ramadon, as many places had different hours of operation. The Desert Safari is a must. We had the greatest time. So much fun and great memories. The buffet was very good, as was the snack. We were fortunate to have Bobby as our driver. He was very experienced and knowledgable. He even came by our hotel the next day to return my husbands glasses he left in the car. Thank you so much.</p>

good tours but Orient Tours need to improve its customer service response

Prior to leaving Australia, I have been trying to contact Orient Tours to clarify some issues via international calls and WhatsApp without success. They simply not did not respond to my messages or did not reply to my queries when they did read my messages; or cut my line when I tried to call. Also they changed the pick up time of the Dessert Safari tour without informing us. When I called them in the morning to confirm the pick up time, their staff told me it was at 2.30pm but when they did not show up, I called their office again at 2.45pm and was told that the time was 3.15pm. They also said that that was the time, they have never changed it. However, when the driver showed me their order, the time was clearly marked being changed from 2.30p to 3.15p. I don't mind they had to delay due to various reasons, but they must inform the customers or at least admit that they have made a mistake when they failed to do that. Very disappointing customer services but the tours were good and of good value.

We had a chance to embark on a journey with Mr Mehul, our tour guide. He was well-equipped with his knowledge, not only about Dubai, but also in other emirates like Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. He shared with us his insightful information in "less boring" talks and tries to cater to our age group's interests. Culture, landmarks, popular places, you name it, he knows it all. Mr Mehul was not only just a tour guide to us, but he became like a family to our study tour group. Thank you so much Mr Mehul & Orient Tours for this wonderful experience in Dubai.

Desert Safari Yes....City Tour No

Our 4x4 desert safari was very good....enjoyed it & worth every penny. Our Guide Mustafa was very amiable & drove very well so we felt safe & still had some thrills. The experience was very well organised....the visit to where the bedouins keep their camels, the falconry show which was interesting/insightful, the meal provided along with the entertainment made it a well rounded tour. Loved the performance by the fire eater & the men in their skirts spinning & twirling...dazzling. The City Tour did not do it for me or my husband. It took an hour by the time we picked up the rest of the group from their various hotels & the stops at the Burj Khalid, Mosque & Souks did not leave an impression on me....felt more like a wasted few hours. The souk especially was tiresome....the traders were very in your face, trying extremely hard to coax you into their shop, then there was the never ending suggestion to come & check out the fake stuff they have. Could not wait to get outa there but, as we had an hour to kill we had to endure. The variety of spices & the way they are displayed is good.

<p>Went back in September and it was a trip highlight. The sand dunes are not for the faint of heart and I probably would have chickened out if I'd known how intense it is but it's now a top travel memory. This is a real bargain activity that I'd repeat.</p>

I thought it was just fine, but if you want a long camel ride, do another tour. <p>The city tour was wonderful. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and able to speak to people in their language. He gave background info and general info as well as made it possible for a Mall of Dubai drop off at the end of the tour to see the fountain show. In the Spice Souk he took the time to take us to a store and explain what many of the spices were and did medicinally. We got to try the various dates and nuts. It was obvious there was a deal made between the store and tour company to bring the tourists there so that we would purchase from him but he gave good prices so it was ok. Just watch the attempts at swindling with the bad math.<br/> To improve: more time in the spice souk needed. Less time in the gold souk needed to much harrassing<br/> Desert Safari: a nice evening where Orient Tours gives personal attention where you are driven directly to the camp site unlike other tours where you are brought to the desert to have to switch cars with the 100s of others waiting by the side of the road. The dune bashing is 40 min. If you get car sick, I suggest you skip this and go straight to the camp site tell your driver. The 3 min drive to the site was enough dune bashing for me. The henna, shisha and falcon made for quick activities. The camel ride is in a brief circle for 2 min or so. Great sunset picture opportunities. The sand boarding was lame. Not at all like on snow. Very jarring many stop/starts. Not a smooth ride. But try it. The dinner was plentiful with choices of meats and sides with free pop and tea and sweets for dessert. Pick up by the driver was prompt and the ride back to the hotel was easy. A great price and value for the personalized experience.</p>

We are experienced world travelers and we found this event to be absolutely fantastic. Yarif was superb as a guide and desert convoy driver. The up and down ride across the sand dunes was thrilling, the photo views of the landscapes and of us with camels and falcons exquisite, the shows at the desert camp entertaining, the camel rides weird in a good way and the evening meal in the open tents fantastic. For those interested there was also sand surfing, henna painting, and other things. We have lived in the Middle East and expected the day to be a little tame for us. IT WAS NOT!!</p>

<p>Racing around the sand dunes was amazing and scary at times. It was reassuring to have internal crash bars in the vehicles as we felt we were going to need them at times. Our driver new exactly how far he could go to make us scream but still keep safe. It was the family in the vehicle with me that were screaming - it wouldn't have been me!!<br/> The BBQ in the desert was adequate and the entertainment with belly dancing and a whirling dervish was great.<br/> It was the first time I have ridden a camel and yes it is as hard as it looks to stay on when the camel stands up and again when it sits down.</p>

<p>Absolute must for your visit to Dubai!!! I went with my mother and from beginning to end we had a blast! The desert safari was so thrilling! Our tour guides picked us up on time from our hotel and later transferred to SUVs that took us into the desert. This was one of the highlights as we sandsurfed the hills of the desert, dipping and weaving in between the other SUVs felt like an adventure movie! After, we driven to the campsite, where we rode camels and ate amazing traditional food very tasty! while watching the sun set! There was also a performance, henna tattoos, and hookah! It was an absolutely amazing! Must do!</p>

We must have been driven in the oldest coach in Dubai. The souks are entirely charmless rows of shops, the Jumeirah mosque wholly unimpressive and the rest not worth even mentioning. <br/> I recommend booking the safari separately take the cheapest deal you can get as there were around 20 vehicles from multiple tour operators delivering exactly the same experience</p>

<p>The Desert Safari was awesome5 stars for desert safari but the city tour was average. For the city tour we had a very knowledgeable guide but the bus took almost 2 hours to pick everyone up and we were left with limited time to see the attractions the rest of the day. Other than that it was still a good experience . I would give 4 or 5 stars if the city tour was better organized by the tour operator.</p>

<p>So much value for money, we were literally waiting for something to catch us out but there never was. We had a guide called Martin taking us on a tour of the souks etc and he was full of so much information. We had a driver called Nofa called himself 'no fun' but far from it for the sand dunes who was very kind. He managed to get me out of the ride on the sand dunes, as this wasn't something I wanted to do, but the rest of my family had a fab time and got the best pictures. This honestly is such a once in a lifetime opportunity and was by far the best part of our holiday. <p>We went to Dubai for 4 days, so it was a quick trip. We were so glad that we chose this tour. The City Sightseeing gave us a good overview of the city, covering both old and new. We really enjoyed the spice market and gold market at the Souks. The Desert Safari was a blast. It was action packed with a drive through the Desert Dunes, camel ride, and topped off with a show and lavish meal.</p>

<p>Picked up from our hotel in a four wheel drive and driven out to the desert where we met up with 15 other vehicles, they took us over the sand dunes to a desert camp. You could go on camel rides, sand boarding, get a hemma, hold a falcon. A bbq dinner was included which was delicious. There was a fire dance, traditional dance and ending with belly dancing! A fun night not to be missed.</p>

<p>Great tour. The Desert Safari was terrific even though I had hoped for a longer ride on the camel - get on the camel, go around in a circle and then get off the camel. The 4WD made up for it, but the camel ride is what I was looking forward to most.</p> <p>The city tour was also great however there was a lot of waiting around before the tour commenced and the driver was not forthcoming in ANY detail as to why we were waiting.</p> <p>Overall, the tour is worth it especially the 4WD over the sand dunes.</p>
