Fun to do!

This was a most enjoyable evening and I would absolutely recommend this to others. Loved the atmosphere, the food was delicious, camel ride was a first, and the show was very entertaining. Something different and fun!

Amazing !!

Such an amazing experience!! The tour guide was so organised, patient, kind and extremely helpful… Imtiaz (Papu) made our trip even more fun and exciting… 10 big stars brighter than the Burj !!!

Desert and flies

The dancers were fantastic. The food would have been terrific ( there was heaps of choice) but absolutely covered in flies. If covers had been provided would have made it so much safer. It spoiled a good night

Touristy but great for kids

The children loved it. I’ve been to others and this one felt short and quite rushed. Although a lot is free, there are still annoying sellers there trying to get you to buy stuff. Plus there are waiters for the tables trying to get you to buy alcohol. Ours asked us every 5 mins even though we didn’t want any, and at the end made a comment about us not getting drinks and him not getting a tip! But as I said, the children thought it was magical and that’s the most important thing. They rode the camels over and over again, got henna tattoos, helped make sand art, and danced away in the background when the show was on.

DUBAI SAFARI 2024. Wonderful scenery/driver

Absolutely amazing experience. Safari was beautiful. Our driver Aslam was extraordinary. So kind, friendly, and wonderful. He was also very thoughtful and made our experience astounding. Most of all the cars were so comfortable with the ups and downs on the dunes. Very elegant and clean. Highly recommended.

An amazing sunset experience in the desert

This was an amazing experience. We were picked up from our hotel on time by our driver, Khan l, who was very welcoming and friendly. We reached the camp early enough to enjoy and capture the warm sunset. As night came on the warm lights created a charming and cosy atmosphere. The food and entertainment was also lovely. My husband and I truly enjoyed this evening out. Thank you for this beautiful cultural experience.

A magical time in the desert!

The whole place was set up so beautifully and we felt like we entered a magical place. Food was great, so was service. Performances were great, especially the fire show. We all had a memorable ride on the camels and interacting with the beautiful falcon. A must do in Dubai!

Highlight of our trip to UAE

This was the highlight of our trip and such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend!! The tour guide was wonderful, the sunset was spectacular and the food and entertainment was top notch.

Fantastic

Mind-blowing experience ,Safari in the desert was fun and memorable especially Aslam our guide went beyond to provide most friendly service.

Definitely worth the money

Everything was excellent. The entertainment, the staff, the organisation and the variety in the buffet. Ordered shisha (extra charge) and was AMAZING.

The best ever.

Aslam was the greatest host and even better driver for bashing the dunes. If you get a choice pick him as your driver.

Tourist trap

This whole trip was a tourist trap. It was not in the desert but rather in an artificial built up location close the highway. They try to sell you stuff through dinner. Food is average. Not worth the money at all. Not authentic.

Awesome experience!!

We honestly had an amazing experience. We were picked up from our home, driven out to the location, and received tea and dates on arrival. We were quite early which was a blessing because we got incredible photos of the sunset. My brothers took rides on the camels, we got to spend some time with Roxy, the 3 year old falcon, I got a stunning henna tattoo, there was great dancing, belly dancing and fire shows, and the food was delicious. The service was wonderful, we honestly had a great time and when we were done, we were dropped off at home. I read a lot of reviews beforehand, and people mentioned that you'll be harassed and pushed into buying things and that they found it unpleasant - I can say without a doubt that this is not the case. Yes, you are approached and have the option of buying perfumes, jewelry, etc, but if you kindly decline, your decision is respected. All in all, a great experience and I am so happy we decided to go.

The experience was great....

The experience was great. It’s only the traffic going to the venue. We drove for 2 hours just to get there. Maybe the operator might consider the traffic time in arranging earlier pick up. Otherwise, everything was fine. Food, entertainment was great. I will definitely recommend this.

Beautiful desert experience!

Our driver, Qaisar, picked us up right on time. He was very courteous & helpful throughout the whole experience. The food & live entertainment was very good!

Just so you know

Food was good and venue was nice but from the moment you arrive you are being asked to buy upgrades, head scarves, photos, jewelry, etc. the fee paid included a camel ride and a henna application. The show was supposed to be representative of the caravans of the old spice/trade route days. 20 minutes of the same dancer spinning in circles but in two different acts. Then a fire act that was supposed to have been Mayan or Aztec in origin - unclear how Rothy’s was representative of the original caravans

Very fun and exiting

The desert ride was so fun and the people were very friendly. I would do this again.lastly the car rides were really fun.

Overall enjoyable experience.

We were upgraded last minute from the camp dinner with the tents, to the fortress dinner. Overall it was a pleasant experience. We were expecting the tent dinner and this was quite different. It didn't bother us too much since the setting was beautiful, especially at sunset. Overall organization was great. Food was very good and had a great variety of middle eastern food which is what we wanted. The reason why I am not giving it a 5 star, is because the constant selling before, during and after the dinner, was slightly annoying. They would come up the whole time trying to sell pictures, perfumes etc. We understand it's part of it, but it truly dampens the atmosphere. It's obviously a bit of a tourist trap, but the people coming up at the table was definitely not fun. Would definitely recommend as a once off, if visiting Dubai for the first time, but expect it to be quite touristy.

Fun and entertaining night in a Bedouin camp!!

Picked up from our hotel on time. Driven out of Dubai towards the desert. Arrived at a Bedouin site for dinner and a show. Camel rides around a marked areas, henna painting, falcon interaction (which is photo which you have to pay extra for) the Shisha pipe is also extra. A Lot of food to choose from, Buffet style. Water, soft drink, tea & coffee is included alcohol is extra. The entertainment constituted of a traditional men’s Tanura (Spinning dance) fire show plus belly dancing. Staff are great, very friendly and helpful.

Very nicht dessert trip

Dune bashing was great! My wife and the children got a henna tatoo. Meal was also excellent, Camel very cute. :-)

Caravan Dessert Dinner 🍽️

The event was very nice 🙂 and my family enjoyed every thing except for the merchant who kept harassing us to buy things.

Same tour, twice more expensive

Overpriced. Other excursions are cheaper and offer the same. There was nothing different from the other options or excursions. I took a similar tour last year for half the price.

Fantastic experience

Fabulous experience and will definitely do it again on my next return to Dubai. Safari in the desert was fun and memorable especially Ali went beyond to provide most friendly service! Recommending to everyone!

Up and down desert experience

In the positive Show was very good. Camel rides a falcon a plus. Food had a good range but was Luke warm. As soon as you arrived the sales pitches started. Someone put on a head scarf and then asked to be paid . Taking lots of pictures and when asked about getting one, a 5X7 print was 100 durhan( for us Canadians that is $40 absurd. I did a diff ent one 5 years ago and it was far superior with no sales pitches.

Best guide ever through the desert.

Our driver and guide, Ahmed, was perfect. He was very skillful through the dunes. He knew a lot about the neighbourhood and took incredible photo’s of us. The show and food was good.

DO NOT RECOMMEND

Unfortunately it was not great at all. It’s a tourist trap. The food was awful, my stomach was killing me the next day and I was spending my day in the bathroom. My friends who came with me also did not feel well after the food. The whole experience was a waste of money. The only part that was enjoyable was the camel ride.

Simply unforgettable experience!

This tour was fantastic! It was a pleasure having Mr. Nazakat as our driver and tour guide. He was really friendly and helpful! I 100% recommend this tour!

Not with Dubai standard.

It was our second time to Dubai Desert Dinner so we can compare it with the previous one. The food was great and the facility very comfortable and clean but the main experience this time very disappointing .The dancing show was very poor quality- looked very sad. No belly dancing, no fortune teller.

Check what is included. Headline ads are misleading

Glad we did it but it was a very long journey to the safari point and expensive to hire quad bikes on top of the cost of the desert safari trip. We were fortunate to be picked up first because the couple crammed into the back two seats weren’t that comfortable and the air con back there caused them problems. It was a very long drive out of the city (longer than we had been led to believe) and when we reached the place to hire quad bikes it was a relief to get out of the Land Cruiser. The quad bikes and buggies were expensive and then having to buy headscarves (and you really need them) on top made it all quite pricey. Riding the quad bikes through the desert was exciting but we were hit by a car which was a shock and then later our guide lost us which was frightening. It is impossible to know where you are unless you are used to the desert. All’s well that ends well and we were found and got back into the car for another journey to the Caravanserai. It was fine, about what I expected . A decent barbecue and a decent show but I was glad to get back to the hotel

Only partially recommendable

The good food and the Fire Show and the atmosphere in the desert were outstanding. What we did not like was the means to make money. Demanding 100 AED for a headscarf by making us believe they are complimentary and the constant pressure to buy things from the stalls were unpleasant. Moreover, the 2 sad looking camels and the poor neglected looking falcon added to our rating of only 3 stars.

A Must Do. One elegant Evening in the Desert.

What an amazing night not to be missed on a visit here. The great thing about this tour is you can get picked up from your hotel. Amir was just a wonderful driver and was polite, courteous and welcoming. He did an excellent job. Food, entertainment, was amazing. Alcohol a little overpriced and little too much on trying to sell you souvenirs you don’t really need. Best souvenir was the photos taken by the photographer. He did an excel job just had to buy them. Would recommend this to anyone. Very classy and no dune bashing etc. just an elegant evening. Great job Henna, Camels, and Falcons. Great pics. Once again thank you Amir for great customer service.

Dessert experience

The camp was good. It felt a little unorganized, in that nobody told you where to go or how it worked. But the place, food, entertainment etc. we’re nice.
