Al Marmoom Oasis safari experience A great morning out in the desert! Our day started with a private transfer from our hotel to the conservation site in the desert just after 7am. Our driver, Ramish from OceanAir travels, chatted with us on the way about Dubai and what to expect at the experience. Once we arrived at the location, the activities were well organised and timely. The team were attentive and did a great job. We had a short camel ride, held a falcon, ate breakfast in a tent and tried traditional dress. Then we went for a drive in the desert nearby to the camp to enjoy the scenery and to see if there were any animals about. Riding on the camel was certainly a highlight of our whole trip to Dubai and it was obvious that Nieman, the camel was well looked after by his caretaker, Zaheer. Driving along in the jeep with Ramish was also great fun with him telling us about the area, answering questions and taking many photos for us. This is a perfect experience for people who want a taster of different activities in an area specifically designed for this. Thank you to Ramish, Zeheer and the rest of the team at Al Marmoom, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Saeed was friendly and knowledgeable tour guide for our half day tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our personalized experience with a falcon, camel ride, Arabic coffee, chai, traditional breakfast and abaya fitting.

Awesome experience!

Our guide Arsi really made this trip spectacular. He was so attentive and always made sure we had everything that we needed but more importantly that we were having fun while being safe. At one point my battery was dying for my phone and he went out of his way to find me a charger to use. Over the top customer experience. I would highly recommend this excursion, it’s absolutely worth it. They offer so much for the price you pay. Arsi will also give you interesting insight about Dubai while driving to the excursion. Awesome time!

Excellent Trip

Our visit to Al Marmoom was a great experience. Everything was well organised right from pickup till the drop. Our tour coordinator Salman was very friendly and nice person, he took care of us throughout the trip.

Outstanding experience - best desert adventure

The personal ride, your explanations of the deserts and it's animals, the surrounding, the support in shooting pictures, the tea and dates back in the camp were excellent. Afterwards having our traditional breakfast in an Michelin star traditional restaurant was an fantastic experience and the taste of the meals were unbelievable good. Our best Dubai trip by far

We have packed a lot into our Dubai trip but this was by far the best trip we’ve done. We were so well looked after by Arsi we couldn’t have asked for more. The Quad biking was great fun and the camp was just beautiful - loads to do, great food and we were just so well looked after. A magical experience and a fantastic guide for the day - Thanks again

We had a fantastic time on this tour getting to know the heritage and history of Dubai on safari. Our falcon/camel handler Anwar Ali did an excellent job teaching us about his animals while also explaining the habitats at the Al Marmoom desert reserve and taking amazing photos our safari trek along the sand dunes. Our oasis barista Waleed brewed some outstanding coffee and tea, plus the subsequent traditional breakfast at Al Khayma heritage restaurant was absolutely delicious. Last but not least, our tour guide Ramish took awesome care of us throughout, providing great conversation and music all along our journey.

Best trip.

We have just returned from Dubai and one of the highlights was our desert trip. Such a fun outing. We were picked up on time by our lovely guide/driver Muhammed ( khalil) who kept in touch beforehand regarding times etc. A very comfortable journey to the desert and Muhammed gave us loads of information on landmarks we passed. Our time in the desert was unreal. Saw bedouin way of life, held the falcons. had beautiful breakfast, then had a ride on the camels. this was followed by a trip in the desert to see the conservation area. animals etc. So enjoyed it all. We are retired friends and were hesitant about this trip. Have to say it was the highlight of our holiday. Thanks to Muhammed who was the best guide ever, full of information and crack and happy to accommodate us. We would definitely recommend this trip and our guide Muhammad who made it all so special and smooth running.

Wonderful organized day with our super friendly Guide Muhammad Khalil

It was a wonderful day in the dunes and beyond all expectations! Our guide Muhammad Khalil was so friendly and helpful. The whole day was very smooth. We we‘re picked up on time and all the other guest we‘re from the same hotel so we went directly to the desert! The day went well and the camelride was fun! The food was absolutely gorgeous and even if there were about 90-100 people you did not recognize them and don’t have to wait at the buffet! It was pretty well organized! I would absolutely recommend OceanAir! Thanks for having us!

The best desert experience!

This was an amazing experience. We had a very comfortable ride out to the oasis camp, and then it was one fabulous event after another. The camel ride, the falcon, the wonderful breakfast, and finally the exhilarating Desert Drive through the sand dunes. It was all made possible by the fun, informative and engaging guide, Mohammed Khalil, who kept us safe and well entertained for the whole time. If you want an incredible morning in the desert, look nowhere else!

Versatile experience in the desert

It was a great morning in the desert as described. During the Drive we saw very different areas and our guide Muhammad Khalil gave us a lot of information about the nature and answered all our questions. It was also quite fun!

Must do it in a life time

It’s highly recommended to do it if you just want to ride the camel in a chill chill way. The guide Usman is super nice and friendly. The shuttle car is new, safe and comfortable. Breakfast in a heritage village with Bedouin people was quite special experience. Riding a camel for 45 mins just nice, not too short and not too long. It’s really nice experience and I will definitely do it again if I had chances.

Great trip with Inaam!

We had an amazing trip with our guide Inaam! We rode in a vintage G-Wagon on the dunes, rode camels, saw wildlife, and then had a delicious Bedouin breakfast. Our family of four had a blast and our guide Inaam was so knowledgeable about the desert, Dubai, the Emirates and it’s history…so we got more out of the trip than expected!

The best cultural tour ! Clean and neat

Inam was our guide and he was amazing with all my demands … LOL 😂 he made my day special and worth any penny spend . he is very well educated and talks about all kind of subjects incluiding economy and politics and culture which I loved 🥰. It’s always nice to learn about other cultures and besides having a good adventure we earned a lot . if you’re in to a more cultural tour this is the one ! Great discovery of the desert gates

We are a family of four with two girls (11 and 9). Our experience with our guide Imran Khan was just perfect. Our guide got in touch with us the day before to arrange pickup at our place and the next day he was right on time ! We had a great time during the camel ride in the dunes. We were able to observe wild animals like oryxes, mountain gazelles and some pretty large lizards !!! Great show for the kids. The other half of the experience is spent enjoying a coffee while a musician plays some local tunes. Finally, the breakfast, composed of many local dishes, was delicious, fresh, but impossible to finish due to the insane quantity of food ! Overall, a lovely experience due for a great part to the kindness of our guide Imran. I recommend 100 %. Julien.

Great tourist experience

This was a great experience. It is very much an excursion for tourists. It was a relaxed experience and my guide Inaam really did look after us. We paid for the experience with the private car just for our party and if you are able it is well worth it. The food was amazing and lots of it and the entertainment was fabulous.

The tour was Very beautiful! I can recommend this tour especially I recommend our tour guide Inaam who was really nice and showed us everything around the bedouin camp.

Memorable experience

We went for the evening safari. Inaam was our guide-cum-driver and the experience was excellent. Pick up was on time and we drove to Al Marmoom camp about 40 minutes from the city. It started with feeding camels followed by a camel ride. Then we went deeper into the desert for a safari in a vintage Mercedes where we spotted some animals and watched the sunset. Inaam took great pictures during each activity. This was followed by some tea and a lavish 3-course dinner including soft drinks. Everything was unlimited. There were options for trying out Arabic dresses, henna painting and photoshoot with a falcon. There was entertainment show including a traditional dance and fire show. Both were great. We watched while smoking sheesha/hookah. Finally we got a chance to see the moon up close through a telescope. Every activity I mentioned was included in the price and nothing extra had to be paid. In the end, while driving back, Inaam was kind enough to give a short city tour. Overall, great value for money and a must-have experience. Inaam was courteous and engaged us throughout the trip. Definitely look forward to coming back to Dubai and do more tours with Ocean Air Travels and specifically Inaam.

breathtaking camel ride

Inam, our guide, was very very professional, kind and friendly. Consequently our experience in the desert was amazing! The hospitality was grate, we enjoyed the tea, the Arabic coffee and the large Bedouin breakfast. The camel guide was superb and the camel ride was breathtaking!! We highly recommend.

It was an amazing trip. Our guide Inaam was very kind and helpful and a very safety driver. He explain already on the way about buildings and activity places. The camel riding and after the bedouin breakfast was really good. And our guide made nice pictures from us.Thanks a lot!

Awesome experience

This was one of the best activities in Dubai. The pick up was on time as promised and the ride was very comfortable. Our driver and guide Imran Khan was great. He was very friendly and professional. His driving through the dunes was a thrilling experience but safe at the same time. We had a great time. The camel ride was also very nice and the breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. Imran made sure we were at all times comfortable and having a good time. We highly recommend this tour. If you get Imran, you will not be disappointed

Amazing dessert experience

We had a great experience .. being in the dessert was lovely! The whole tour was interesting and fun!! Abdul our tourguide was very professional! We were picked up at the hotel, the ride was smooth to the dessert, loved the old Mercedes open car we drove in the dessert (better then in a airconditioned car, much more fun), the Camal ride was about 30 min .. but too long for me ;-). Breakfast was very nice, so much lovely food. We thought the 5 hour was just enough, perfect trip!! Thanks Abdul ..

Highly recommend, good price, staff and quality

Hello, We had a very good desert tour. Our tour guide Aku was very attentive and friendly. He kindly waited for us this morning whilst we were running late, assisted in taking pictures and was all round a very good tour guide.

Unforgettable!

Our guide Imran was kind and witty in his own peculiar way. I really enjoyed the 4WD, camel ride and beautiful voice of the local Oud player and singer. Breakfast was excellent and generous. I just wish I had the stomach to finish it all! The heat and humidity was intense, though. If my flight hadn't departed the same evening, I would have done it in late afternoon and evening.

Talented guide

Our guide, Imran, was very welcoming and very talented to immerse ourself into the Al Marmoom desert. The camel ride and the safari on the sand dunes were terrific! We also enjoyed a traditional Bedouin breakfast within a traditional tent and made some pictures with a falcon. This family experience was a great moment and is definitely to be recommended for people seeking a more authentic time around Dubai.

Desert Safari

We did the morning safari with the optional ATV, dune bashing, camel ride and dinner. Everything went really smoothly with our tour guide and the entire staff ensured that everything was seamless and we got the entire experience

Nice Camel-Safari around 2 oases with a breakfast in a comfy camp.

Not touristic at all. Even tho it was on a Saturday. We were in the camp with five guests. Very quiet and idyllic. When you get there and know other safaris in Dubai, you see that this camp is not made for mass tourism. Breakfast was delicious and the drinks were brand products. The Tour-guide Imran took his time to talk to us a lot. And told much about the desert and all the animals there we also saw in the reservoir when we drove thru it with an old G class. The reservoir itself is also more quiet with little oases and there is not as much rubbish as in other deserts in Dubai. The camel ride was really good. We were sitting with max. two persons on one camel, the seat was comfy and the animals looked good from my point of view. We went for about 45 minutes and rode around two oases. All in all it is not the cheapest safari but for us it was worth it.

More then great!

It was an amazing day, great food, great activity, great TOUR GUY! He was present all the time and tried his best for us so that we can have the best time, we realy appreciate everything he did! it was was the best day, definitely coming back!

Beautifull and private cammel safari

Excellent service and a delightfull attitude of the driver and the property personell as well as a very professional conduct. A team that puts passion and love towards both the animals and the experience as a whole.
