Average aquarium, but worth a visit for Joe the croc

The aquarium is not really worth the money because you can see it all from the Mall itself. The underwater zoo however is good. It had some species that I had never seen. It isn’t that big though so it won’t take you too long. Joe the croc is pretty spectacular at 6 meters long!

Bad

I was not able to use this ticket in the entrance because the way that you send me a ticket they don’t accept it so still I’m wearing for return my money ? because J never used the ticket and in order to be able to enter , I had to buy a new ticke.

Amazing experience

I had an amazing experience visiting the Dubai Aquarium. Jason T, the aquarium staff, was a fantastic guide who shared fascinating facts about the marine life and even showed us how sharks reproduce. The highlight was getting to touch a baby shark. It was an unforgettable and educational adventure.

Poor customer service

Extremely disappointed. Was basically dumped at entrance and made to find the attraction ourselves. The attraction was ok. Only given 21/2 hours before we were picked up. Also problem finding pick up point. In my opinion not worth the £180 I paid.

aquatic life

its one of the memorable trip I ever had , it was unique experience with marine life . kids love this trip . the attention to detail and educational aspects added a value to the visit . overall , a captivating and memorable trip into aquatic wonders of dubai

Don’t let the pictures fool you!

You can just view the main aquarium from the mall - no need to pay coz it doesn’t get any better. We were looking forward to the glass boat - queued over 45 minutes to be taken around a small pond for a few minutes, with not a lot to see through a semi-transparent glass bottom (see picture). It was terrible for both of us, almost ruined our Dubai experience and best avoided.

Family tour

It was good experience my kids most enjoy in Dubai aquarium, it is value for money tour you get the combo which cover up 2 places. We are totally satisfied.

Not so great!

We expected much more and this was really not mind blowing. We were actually dissappointed in this excursion

It’s not worth its price...

It’s not worth its price when compared to other similar aquariums and zoo in a man made environment.

No need to pay

The acquarium is beautiful, but there is litteraly no point to pay 40$ per person when the most of it is available for free to everyone. Ticket only allows you to go through the runner which is yes, nice, but not nicer than what u see from the outside. Just walk by and enjoy the beauty of the wall from the outside, no need to pay an expensive tkt for a tunnel and a 5 mins experience.

Fish dome

It was one of the best trips that we have planned. The Aquarium and Underwater Zoo in Dubai Mall. We could spend also time for shopping. Its was nice to walk in the dome

The Aquarium a must see in Dubai

The Aquarium is definitely a must see. I would recommend the VIP pass which includes a boat ride on the aquarium as well as access to the zoo.

Amazing Aquarium that can’t be missed!!!

Amazing facility and plenty to see all inside a major shopping center with a diverse array of wildlife and very friendly and knowledgeable staff make it a fun experience for all ages!

Awesome, incredible

Wow, it was just incredible! I couldn't believe my eyes! The place was absolutely amazing! It was so well-organized and unbelievably clean. The reception was flawless and they made sure everyone felt at ease. Everything was simply outstanding! I can't stop raving about it!

Underwayer world in a mall

Thus is a must go at dubai as ypu wpuld probably be gpong to dinai mall and burj khalifa. The activity would takearound 2 hours to complete the seaworld and the under water species. Giving it a 3 out of 5 as now there is sea world at abu dhabi whoch you may want to go to as it is wuite huge.

Dubai 2023

The aquarium and underwater zoo were a great experience. We saw animals that we do not see at our local zoo or aquarium.

It’s Beautiful background for your pics

Enjoyed aquarium. Families with little kids will enjoy it the most. It has different variety of fishes, big and large, few birds, crocodile, penguin and reptiles. It’s beautiful indoor aquarium.

Overall nice experience

Aquarium provides a nice experience, a lot of exotic species to be observed. Upper part has even larger variety of animals to see, apart from fish you can see otters, crocs, lizards, etc There's a separate area with penguins, however, it requires a separate ticket, which is sad.

I would never go there again!

I am gutted that I went to be honest. The enclosures (especially for the penguins and the huge snapping turtle were tiny and they barely any room to move. Animal management and education on marine conservation wasnt there, everything was rushed and I would not recommend this to anyone.

Worth a visit

A good trip, but it can be very busy. It only lasted around 45 minutes for us but great fish and animals

Go during the evening. I think with the lights it may have been a little more exciting. But it was nice to see and the experience was different.

Viator do not care about the client once they have your money!!

Cannot comment on the venue as due to illness on that day we were unable to make it. The reason for the 1 star is more against Viator who have been totally unhelpful and unsympathetic. Refused a refund and refused to allow us to move to another date despite having paid the money up front. Will be happy to retract this review if they at least apologised and offered a partial refund!!

Underwater rip-off

It is all about money. Extra for this, extra for that. You almost push my wife into the corner with a parrot but deny me taking a photo. Do you think we want to buy a photo from you after that? And all unintelligible Indians and Pakis. Kdakadakadakadaaa...

Simply awesome

The underwater tunnel was amazing, the night creatures were creepy & cool. We loved everything 🙂🙂🙂

Worth visiting

I have been seeing tv ads for this attraction for over 12 months and was determined to see it in person. Our visit did not disappoint. Purchase of tickets online a different story. There seemed to be a lot of people queuing but when we got in it was not crowded. The underwater tunnel was amazing, lots of displays (a few more identification signs on display ranks would be helpful). Overall value for money.

Fun zoo, a bit pricey…

Aquarium and underground zoo were fun but seemed a bit overpriced. Enjoyed all the animals and layout of the zoo. Bonus…it’s nice and cool!

Amazing

Its in Dubai Mall so you can have aquarium visit while hanging out in the mall. You can see part of Aquarium by walking through the mall for free. To get the best experience take the tickets. Its not expensive and the view is amazing. Families with young kids must do it. Kids will love it.

Very Basic

The aquarium isn’t big at all. The animals are cool but it’s kind of like you walk in and out and it’s over. Go to the other aquarium in the palm

Dubai vacation

You seen one aquarium, you’ve seen them all most all aquariums have the same type of fish nothing much different from any other aquarium in America just something to do to pass the time away very costly, but it was nice

I love the whole aquarium and under water excursion. The best part was the penguins cove. Would recommend

Not worth the admission fee charged

I wish I knew this is in the mall. Aquariums need space and making one in the mall is a bad sign. We got in and got out within 30 mins. Not at all worth the $450 we paid for 8 of us.

Excellent attraction! Book online, not at the entry gate for a better deal.

Got the tickets issued within minutes. Booked it from outside the aquarium as the prices at ticket window were high.

Hidden gem

Fantastical experience and wonderful if you have the time. There is so much to see and explore. Great location as you will most likely visit the mall anyway and awesome for photos.

Rip off

The supplier would not change our booking date despite having several months notice ,so we lost a vast amount of money when we had to revise our holiday dates

It was good and worth a visit unfortunately Viator didn’t tell us there was option to up grade ticket for a boat ride and the penguin enclosure which we would have done

Aquarium, underwater zoo and penguin experience

Would not bother with this, you can see as much from the mall. Expensive and not worth the money (we did other experiences for the same price which included much more) As for the penguin experience what a joke….a few penguins behind a perplex window how that is classed as an experience and very rushed. Honestly don’t bother.

It was cool overall

The view was great and I enjoyed. At the counter they were tricking you into taking the entire experience including penguins even if you did not want it. Best to book online.

Nice but overrated.

Nice but overrated. You can see some species, but not as advertised. Clean, friendly staff, a bit narrowed, not "the biggest" attraction.

Such a wonderful experience! We enjoyed our time. The process getting in was fluent. Staff was awesome.

Not worth all the hype

Nothing about this Aquarium was worth the trip. We had reservations through Viator which uses Royal Smart Tourism as the tour operator his operator did not bother sending us the tickets that would be redeemed for the Viator voucher. We had to call them several times till they finally sent it to us when we had spent several minutes standing in the ticketing line on the second floor. This attraction had only one ticketing agent on second floor with long lines already waiting for several minutes. Poor people movement skills. The aquarium itself is pretty bare basic with some penguins, some reptiles and some fish. The underwater terminal is not even connected to the aquarium. One has to come out through the gift shop, then go to ground floor and then go stand in another queue to get into the tunnel. very poorly designed to facilitate seamless transfer between the aquarium and the tunnel. Dubai mall's food court is a mess. Crowded and lacks adequate seating space.

Everybody loves...

Everybody loves fish...and Dubai aquarium has much more to offer. Reptiles, crabs, and a lot of activities for all the family. Prepare your camera because you are going to enjoy.

Enjoyable outing for family

It wasn’t what I expected ( my personal view ). It was ok, nothing to write home about. But I am sure people will enjoy it. 3 star rating based on my personal opinion only. Fantastic setting. ( I am not very fishy person )

Not worth it

Not worth the money, the main attraction penguin cave was not included. As compared to Dubai Safari it's not worth visiting.
