Great intro tour to Dubai - Learned A Lot

We had a guided tour with my family of 5, paired with another 4 people to complete our group. Abdullah was our guide. He has a great personality, very personable and funny. We were in Dubai for a week and he was the most informative and educational guide I experienced. I learned a lot of about the history of Dubai and it's culture. He took us to the gold and spice souks. Looking through the spices was fun & interesting. I'd suggest going back to the gold souk another day as there are sooo many stores and you'll want more time to look around and work through your haggling.

Fantastic tour, knowledgeable guide and great shopping

I had a great time with my guide Abdullah as I joined a group of people from all over the world to learn about the history of Emirates, Dubai, its population, traditions, religion, customs and culture. We visited heritage homes, tasted local street food , embarked on an abra boat across the creek and shopped the souks with great help from our guide in bargaining. This tour is very recommended, especially the evening one, with a cooler breeze and when the souks come alive.

History of Dubai

We were experiencing the very core of Dubai.Our guide Hichem was amazing.He was helpful,he was ready to answer all of our questions and he was very pleased to do so.I want to thank him for all.With the tour you can see old Dubai and you can learn everything that there is of the history.

We had an amazing experience with Abdula. He was friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. He shared history, culture, religion and so much more. His smile was infectious. The more questions you ask, the more he shares. I highly recommend this tour with Abdula.

Fabulous tour

We would highly recommend this tour .Saif our guide was very informative. Kept us engaged throughout. The street food was delicious. Loved the boat taxi .Saif gave us tips for the Soukes. Thank you Saif .We really enjoyed it

Great tour! Only reason why I've given 3 stars is due to the fact that we were taken to shops charging very high prices for fake designer gear and also the fact we weren't given fresh juice despite stating this would be provided.

Amazing guided experience

We had a pleasure to participate in Old Dubai tour guided by our guide Abdullah. Not only Abdullah had a great sense of humour, but he also gave us numerous insights about the city, history, Arab culture and traditions. We also had a chance to visit the market and get the good deals - Abdullah gave us "true" prices of the goods :) The tour is a must go for anyone visiting Dubai, especially in the first days of your trip, since you will be much more aware of the local culture. 100% recommendations.

Must do if you are visiting Dubai

Abdullah is an exceptional tour guide, by far one of the greatest tours if you are looking to learn about the history of Dubai and explore some of the beautiful historical sites. We also really enjoyed the local markets plenty of great things to see and buy. Highly recommend.

Amazing tour - A must for when in Dubai

Our tour guide was friendly and informative who ensured that everyone was well accommodated. The trip was well paced and provided insights to UAE history, food and souls. The guide was very helpful and stayed back at the end of the tour to provide assistance with shopping at the Gold souqs.

Very glad I took this tour!

Mahmoud was a great tour guide. We could have done the parts of this experience by ourselves (walking the old city, taking the boat, exploring the souks), but we felt like having a tour guide added so much to the experience. He gave us a great brief history of Dubai that was a very good introduction for the other things activities ended up doing în Dubai after this tour. Mahmoud was knowledgeable and did a good job answering our questions about Dubai and Muslim practices and culture. At the souks, he took us to a few specific shops where they showed us spices, etc. This is an experience we may have not gotten in the same way without the tour. Also, we were able to take the boat back to our starting point separately after the tour and Mahmoud explained to us how to do that and made it easy to get there the first time. This tour was a great value for the money and we loved it!

Great communication with tour company, easy off and pick up points for taxis. Our guide Hichem was knowledgeable and friendly with super sense of humor. Great hospitality, felt very safe and well cared for the entire time. I highly recommend this walking tour and company.

A great introduction to Dubai

Mahout was an amazing guide, knowledgeable, friendly, fun and always happy to answer questions. The tour covered a great mix of history, culture, food and some great advice on haggling in the spice and gold market. Highly recommend this tour.

Hesham is an incredible guide?

Our guide was fantastic. He was super friendly and very patient with our late arrival (it rained and traffic was a gigantic mess) and our young kids. His details are excellent, covering a lot of history of the region, lifestyle, and culture. One of the greatest experiences that I have ever had with a guide. Give him a raise!

Wonderful Tour

This is a must to do when your in Dubai, you learn and experience the culture of this amazing place. We where very lucky the day we had our tour as we where the only people who had booked that slot and it felt more like a personal tour as we where guided through Al Seef and the souks. Our guide was Shifa and he was an excellent guide for the tour.

A must for travelers

The tourist group was not big and our amazing guide Abdulla introduce us to history of Dubai and Emirates. The places that we visited and the ambiance were unique. The tour itself is very well organized and even kids will enjoy it.

Amazing experience - this was the best tour of my trip.

Our guide Mohammed was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, and was able to comprehensively and humorously explain so much about the history and culture of the Emirates. His explanations really brought the places that we saw to life, and helped us understand UAE Arab culture a bit better. The snacks & drinks along the way were really yummy too. Every bit of the tour was fantastic. Highly recommend this one - it was the best tour of my entire trip.

Amazing tour. The tour guide Abdallah was the best. Very knowledgeable, funny and kind. He taught us a ton of history in the old town and mosque and brought us to the markets where he was extremely helpful and patient with us while we were there. Very accommodating tour guide and an experience you must have when traveling to Dubai. Highly recommend.

Best walking tour I’ve experienced

This was one of the best walking tours I have done and certainly a highlight of my time in Dubai. Abdoul was so knowledgeable and made the tour really fun which added a lot of value to the experience I had. Old Dubai was so beautiful and rich in history - the architecture, the bustling souks and learning about the emirati customs and culture was all part of the amazing experience and is the best way to explore this part of Dubai. This tour is perfect for anyone wanting to explore old Dubai and wanting to experience the spice and gold souks, taste some traditional food, cross the Abra creek on the wooden boats and learn more about the history of the Emirates. Whether you are playing tourist for a couple of hours or a couple of weeks, this walking tour is a must do!

Wonderful tour in old Dubai with Mohammed.he explain a lot about the history and local life .this is the perfect tour tour lear about Dubai heritage. Street food was delicious. I advise to book the tour in the afternoon because the weather is really nice .
