Great tour guide Akbar Ali. Very kind, attentive and helpful. Would recommend especially if you’re travelling with older people or young kids. We met the manager - who I think was also named Akbar - he was also very welcoming.

Disappointing service overshadowed nice experience

r driver was Nasir I. He picked up riders from the hotel on time; however, he did not come off as the friendliest. He tried to talk everyone into ATV riding on the way to the area for ATV and camel riding. Once arriving at the camel riding area, he told us to be back at the vehicle in an hour which would be 4:45 pm. The entire group was back at the vehicle within the hour but we did not see him. Once spotted him from a far, a rider signaled to him that everyone was waiting and he used hand gestures to tell her to go away which was rude. When he finally came back to the car at 5:30 pm, he took his time getting there as he was sipping a cool drink that he had obtained. He informed us that the show did not start until 7:30 pm and we all insisted on getting to the next stop regardless. Once we arrived at the dinner camp, Nasir did assist someone in the group with getting a chair for them. While we were waiting for the show to start, one of the guides spotted a rider looking for a napkin for food the appetizer and led her to Nasir for assistance. Once there, Nasir in his language displayed his disdain and did not assist and ignored her. When it was time to go, Nasir ignored a few riders in the group. While the show, food and camel riding was nice, a driver that is friendly with all of the riders would have been nice. It is very clear that Nasir may have a problem with women of a certain ethnicity as he was nice to the Caucasian women and man that were in the vehicle.

I’ve been doing this safari three times and I love it. I’ve always wanted to go with Mr Khan, he is very nice, funny and a good guide. 100% recommended!

Amazing experience in the Dessert

It was an excellent trip in the dessert, our guide did an amazing job and he offered us the best of care that exceeded our expectations. Also, it was great that we could have optioned for a Safari without Dune Bashing, it is good if you have motion sickness.

The perfect desert experience

We did the desert tour with Adil. He was very knowledgeable about the local information, gave us ample time to explore on our own, and was a fun guide to show around. He was also a very proficient sand dune basher! We had the complete desert experience with Adil. Would definitely recommend Fun Tours

Great Driver

Mr Ehsan was our tour guide and driver.Pick time was perfect. He displayed a very pleasant personality and his conversation was very educational. He has a great knowledge of Dubai. But most of all his driving skills is excellent. Keep up the good work.

Memorable desert safari

Kismat our driver was fantastic! Excellent tour with desert photos, camel rides, falcon photos, dervish spinners, flames throwers and belly dancing. What more can one want … excellent food and BBQ. Yup check! 7 stars!

Enjoyed our time in the desert

Loved all of the aspects of this tour. Enjoyed the meal, shows were great, camels were lovely. We did the vip option which was great as my father who is 80 was with us and we enjoyed the nice seats and service. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was the constant salespeople. But we did get some nice memoirs. Our host Najeeb was lovely.

Good but too many salesmen

Too many annoying men trying to sell you something everywhere we stopped at and they would up the price of souvenirs because you are foreign… good driver and good show though

Fantastic trip

We visited the desert on 6 hour tour with 2 adults and a toddler we had a fantastic tour guide Ali Akbar we did dune diving very safely our little Boy Loved it then onto the camp for bbq food fire show and belly dancer with a very fun camel Ride. Door to door pick up air conned car with water Ali was very friendly and helpful thank you

Asif was an amazing tour guide . He ensured we were always safe and never had a problem with explaining what we are to do and questions we had . We felt safe and comfortable with him for the whole day . He was also very respectful

We went Dune bashing with Nasir we had a lot of fun, very scary but exciting !!! He is quite talented ! We all enjoyed it. We also went camel riding and sand surfing very cool

Excellent value for money! Very friendly guide

An amazing experience! Our driver was Ijaz chandio, he was extremely friendly and funny, and made sure we had the best time. We started with quad bikes then went on to dune blasting and sand boarding with loads of photo opportunities! We then went back to camp for a camel ride, bbq and loads of shows including belly dancers and fire breathers! Would recommend this to anybody!

Best Dubai Desert Safari Guide

Habibi Aftab is the best tour guide ever. My wife and I had a blast. He made our dessert safari fun and got us engaged in most of the activities offered. I recommend him for your dessert safari adventure!

A once in a lifetime experience

This was absolutely amazing excursion and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Our tour guide Ijaz Chandio was very nice as he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every aspect of the trip. From taking our pictures, finding us great seats for the dinner show and being overall patient with the group he truly made it a once in a lifetime experience. He especially took care of my senior mother which was extremely kind.

Doing a desert safari with dinner in Dubai

Enjoyed our hotel pick up and drop tour of desert safari with dinner and dance show. Experienced thrilling sand bashing in our zeep-convetted-AC-Car while going towards. Did camel ride, and click photos of sun setting from a big sand dune there.

Fab time

Had a fab fun few hours on this tour our driver and guide Adnan Butt was great, he picked us up from hotel, there were 3 of us in our party and 3 others in the car, felt safe with Adan on the dunes and he took some amazing photos at the dunes, the camel ride an experience not to miss lol, the dinner and show was ok, bit of a free for all when food was ready, people coming around tables selling bits, free henna but if want more than just a flower there was an additional charge, free shisha although you could pay to have it at the table. Dropped back at the hotel, overall a great time we all enjoyed and would recommend Adnan you were great Booked with get your guide

Excellent desert trip

We booked a private car for 2 adults and a 5 year old. Awesome experience overall. My son enjoyed the dune bashing and rated it as the “best day ever”. Our guide/ driver Sameer was excellent. Prompt pickup and always ready to help. He was very good with my son as well. Definitely recommend!!!!!

Must-do Dubai tour

I bought this package to treat my mom and aunt to a fun experience in Dubai. This was the perfect tour for them, the loved every part of the day and were not exhausted by the end of day. I don't recommend this desert safari tour

Good: my partner and I couldn't make it on our original booking date and they didn't mind changing the date of our Safari upon request. Dune bashing on 4x4, quad biking were very fun, the views in the desert are spectacular. Bad: our driver Nasir was super unenthusiasthic during the whole trip. What absolutely ruined our experience - close to sunset time we were returning to the meeting point to then go to the camp. When asked the guide if we could see the sunset, he hesitated but said yes, but actually went back to the meeting point and gave us 5 mins to go to restroom. My expectation was that we would then go back to dunes to see the sunset. He returned after 30 minutes when the sunset has already passed and then we just went to the camp for the dinner. If I knew that we would be there for 30 mins instead of 5, we would go see the sunset on our own. Double quad bike ride cost 350 AED, when beforehand Funtours representative told me it would cost 215 AED, The food was terrible, the show was whatever. I would definitely go to another desert safari tour in Dubai but with different tour provider. I don't recommend.
