Desert experience

Desert Safari experience was a highlight of our holiday and our tour guide Baiju was excellent. He gave us tips regarding Dubai but mostly made sure we’re enjoying ourselves, took pictures of us and made sure we had a brilliant unforgettable experience. Dune bashing was such a must and we felt safe as Baiju was a great driver. Great food and entertainment show at sunset, delicious traditional food and atmosphere. Thank you Baiju Andra&family

Dessert Safari

Had such a lovely lovely day on this dessert Safari tour.. I took my Mam visiting from UK and it felt very Dubai a really good day and valid for money! Our guide Baiju Chacko was fabulous! Really lovely guy.. knew all the right spots and angles for the best instagram shots and amazing driving on the dune bashing! Would really recommend and do it again when next visitors are here Thank you

Fabulous day out!!

The best day

We liked the "dune-bashing" but had to cut it short due to a family member having some motion sickness. We didn't fancy to camel rides or to raptor experience, but the whole day from start to was excellent. The evening entertainment was top class and the food excellent. Our driver and guide was excellent also. I would definitely recommend.

Desert Safari Adventure

Amazing Experience from an Amazing Tour Operator!

We arranged for a private tour to include pickup from our apartment, 1 hour dune buggy, dune bashing and sand boarding. Communication throughout with Ali and Sara was excellent as was the driver Baiju. He made the dune bashing experience one never to be forgotten. The dune buggy was done by a third party and whilst it was great fun the vehicle had some problems which meant that we only actually got to drive it for 30minutes. Destination Insight arranged for a refund of half the price of the one hour dune buggy cost. I would highly recommend Destination Insight for your Dubai adventure trips. They are a helpful, friendly and honest company. Thanks again Ali and team!

Amazing Desert Experience

We are so glad we chose Destination Insight for our desert safari, they use large and very comfortable 4x4s. Our driver Chacko was fantastic. We had fun dune bashing, we tried sand boarding and had a short camel ride. Chacko took great photos & videos on our phones, We saw the sunset and then had a great bbq dinner with excellent entertainment in a beautiful camp setting. Experience of a lifetime!

We had a great experience using Destination Insight for our Dubai desert adventure! I found this company through reviews on tripadvisor and am so thrilled that we chose them for our desert experience. The price was very reasonable considering we got a private pick up and drop off at our hotel, 60 minute dune buggy, dune bashing, sandboarding and sunset in the desert, followed by a VIP desert dinner. the folks at Destination Insight customized our package exactly to what we wanted, and provided us with the best guide for the day, Mayan! We thought we were just going to have a driver to pick us up and drop us off but Mayan went above and beyond as a full guide- providing us with interesting historical facts, pointing out sites of interest and teaching us about the UAE along the drive to the desert. He set up our buggy experience in a way that we got a private guide leading us through the dunes- which was so much better than the convoys of buggies we passed by. The driving was thrilling and the machine was in great condition. After an hour of dune buggy, Mayan then took us through the dunes with his SUV so that we could sandboard and watch the sunset. I was feeling a bit nauseous from the hour of dune driving so Mayan took care to drive us as gently as possible to top of a dune for these activities. He brought a sandboard, which my husband enjoyed, and he negotiated a fair price for falcon pictures, which was one of my highlights for this trip. The VIP desert dinner was a perfect end to the day, this section of the camp had its own bathrooms and buffet, as well as more comfortable couch seating. We had wanted this group experience rather than a private dinner, and loved watching the shows while eating the delicious dinner. Overall, this experience is one to remember and we are so thankful to Destination Insight for coordinating everything so seamlessly, and especially to Mayan, who took such good care of us on our desert adventure!

Wonderful experience

Mr Mansoor is an experienced man and helped us in everything with our kid. We had one of the most exciting experience in our life. Mansoor is a trust man and educated. We found the pleasure to talk with him because he s calm and relaxing. The best choice for us! I suggest him as a great guide!!

A brilliant experience in the desert 🌵

We had a fabulous time in the desert - Salim our driver was excellent and he took some fabulous photos for us. Driving in the dunes was brilliant, the bbq delicious and we throughly enjoyed the entertainment.

A fantastic experience!

It was an unbelievable experience, we loved every minute of it. Our driver/ guide Naanon was fantastic, his driving through the dunes was amazing! Naanon took us to a small camel farm where we were able to see baby camels which were adorable. The kids loved riding the quad bikes and the sand surfing. All of it was just fantastic and defiantly made our holiday.

Amazing dune bashing experience

Amazing desert trip. Our organiser smart was superb and so helpful. Our driver Prasanth was fabulous. Full of local knowledge and information. The dune buggy is a must. We were picked up and dropped off and from the moment our day started we had an amazing time. The sunset in the desert was beautiful and the meal and evening entertainment was a great end to a wonderful day.

Salim, our driver and tour guide, did a fantastic job. He kept giving us plenty of information so we knew what to expect. He also took some amazing photos of us throughout the experience so we can relive the memories. I highly recommend this trip and ask Salim to show you around.

Destination insight - my go to company for outdoor entertainment

Excellent service from the company - as always. Easy to organise and prompt replies to any questions I had made using this company such an easy experience. Great price, well organised and fantastic fun. Driver arrived to pick us up at exactly the time we were told. He was lovely and polite and extremely good at his job, terrifying and exciting us in equal measures over the dunes. Such an amusing experience! Thoroughly enjoyed the dune bashing, extra time riding quads in the desert and the bbq dinner with entertainment was great fun. I’ve used this company numerous times over the past 5 years after a recommendation and wouldn’t use anyone else. For outdoor activities in uae - they are my definite go to!

Desert Safari / BBQ - private car

My 1st experience with Destination Insight but it won't be my last. There are many cheaper options and choices with many other tour operators, but this was money well spent. Having your own private car and the freedom to drive the dunes and adapt the tour to your needs was great. Our driver, Baiju was fantastic. He gave us options - quad biking / sand boarding and to visit a camel farm. Great driver, skilled in the dunes and a great photographer too! The desert camp was lovely! Great set up, comfortable seating and a lovely buffet dinner. The entertainment added to a great Arabian experience. Thanks Baiju for a wonderful experience.

Amazing driver

The experience had different activities from driving in the dessert, to having dinner in a camp. In my opinion the driving was great, our driver was very skilled but dinner was very touristic and with too many people. I would recommend the experience thanks to our driver Uday.

Sunset in the desert

From start to finish the day trip with Saleem was amazing! We were collected from out apartment and our first stop was quad bikes. Saleem then took us for the off roading experience. Stunning scenery, knew exactly where to stop to get the best photos! Even got to try out sand boarding! After bashing across the dunes we then went on to the camp! What a fantastic set up, snacks and drinks on arrival, henna and shish stations. This was followed by a lush buffet (even the fussiest 9 year old was impressed!) and some fabulous traditional dancing and fire show. Thank you to our guide Saleem for providing a 5 star trip!

Fantastic company and amazing desert safari

I’m a Tour Guide in Dubai and during my years of activity I experienced so many desert safari and met so many companies! Nothing like this one! Finally i found the perfect one, not only for me but especially for my guests! Any time I book activities with Destinations insight I’m sure that I will have happy tourists at the end! Great fun and more than what we expected!

First time visiting Dubai and was recommended this experience from my sister and it was well worth it and more. Baiju our driver was perfect, extremely helpful and a great photographer. The dune bashing was very fun and the dinner/bbq with the shows was amazing. Loved all the views and hospitality. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Dubai must do!

Our guide Beju picked us up on time. We had such fun dune bashing, seeing the camels and enjoying the BBQ. Beju stopped to give us photo opportunities, taking most of the pics for us. He was very attentive, especially to my elderly mother. Helping her in and out of the car, up and down the sand dunes, and getting her a proper chair for the BBQ and entertainment. My visitors had a wonderful time! Thank you

Fantastic desert safari experience and meal

Great experience, very recommended for large groups as well

We booked a private BBQ Dinner for 86 people and they delivered brilliantly. The location was incredible, the setup was on point and the food and beverages were very good! Very recommended for large groups as the organzing team is very flexible and efficient. They did not disappoint once.

A magic desert safari

We did the desert Safari with a great driver, Jafar, who was extremely kind, attentive and present for all our needs. The dune bashing drive , the camel drive, the sand boarding were all amazing and very entertaining. We also got the chance to see a camel farm . The barbecue and the show at the camp were well organized and the camp not crowded. The quality and variety of the food was average. Overall we had a great experience!

Unforgettable experience we loved it

This was an amazing and unique experience. A must to do in Dubai with Salman who was our guide and driver. He is so attentive and always checking on tourists to have a great time. We went to the desert to have a boost of adrenaline while driving the car above the dunes, this was soooo exciting and we all loved it! Also Salman is a great person, very knowledgeable and he was explaining us about Dubai during our trip to the desert. He provided drinks, excellent music and later we went to do sand boarding, he took so great pictures of us and videos during sunset. This tour was amazing, beyond what I expected, exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to do it with Salman which is a very fun and cool guy. The car was in excellent conditions, great air conditioning and later we went to eat dinner while we enjoy a dancing show, it was buffet with delicious food. We loved it so much 😊 Thank you Salman for such amazing experience

Great Experience

We had a really great experience with these guys. I had friends visiting from the UK and their one request was a desert experience. I contacted this company from their great reviews and recommendations and they didn’t disappoint. Mary and Ali booked my trip seamlessly with less than 24 hours notice, and our driver Prasanth was punctual, polite, fun and informative. Even the drive back was a history lesson! We had a great day out in the desert, Quad Biking, Sand Boarding, we also met a few beautiful Camels. Afterwards we ended up at a camp, great entertainment and lovely food. Amazing desert safari experience

A friend living in Dubai recommended Destination Insight to me and now I am happy to pass on the recommendation. It was easy to arrange our desert safari by email from the UK, with very clear and prompt communication from Ali. On the morning of the safari we received further confirmation of pick up time and checks by email and WhatsApp that we were all set. Our driver was Baiju and he arrived right on time to take us out. The dune bashing was absolutely brilliant, and we were so glad Baiju was driving, he handled the vehicle so well from the moment he checked “are you ready?”!! My kids loved the dune bashing the best, they haven’t stopped talking about it. Then we went sandboarding, visited a camel farm, then went to the camp with camel ride, shows, delicious food. Lots of photo opportunities, very relaxed and felt very comfortable and safe. Baiju kept us informed about the plans and the timing was perfect throughout. I am so glad we did this, it was excellent value for money and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Excellent afternoon desert trip with evening meal and entertainment

Fantastic experience. Very good driver especially offroad. Visit to Camel Farm then bbq with entertainment. All excellent, well planned and good value. Would strongly recommend for a great family experience. 4 Adults and 2 children aged 5 and 4. Driver adapted sand dune driving to be suitable for toddlers. 😀👍

Desert safari with Dune Buggy experience

Absolutely amazing time, right from being picked up at our hotel. Our driver was brilliant, pointing out places of interest on the way to the desert. We started our desert safari adventure with the dune buggy add on and the boys loved it. Dune bashing and sand boarding was so much fun and once at the camp the camel ride, BBQ and show didn’t disappoint. I arranged through Mary on WhatsApp who was fantastic, went through various options and was so helpful. Great experience, definitely a must when visiting Dubai and Destination Insight offer brilliant package options at great rates, I cannot recommend them enough.

Desert Safari with BBQ dinner

We did the desert Safari with bbq dinner for our family who were visiting UAE for the first time. We weee 4 adults and 3 kids and all of us had a great time. It’s a door to door service, very professional and safe. No waiting time for any activity. The service quality is value of money.

The perfect getaway!

What a perfect way to spend the evening, getting out of the city to spend time with friends and loved ones. The whole service was professional and so welcoming from start to finish! We were really looked after, from the first point of contact, with all the information we required to get to the meeting point, collection in one of their vehicles, the BBQ was fantastic, and perfect spot to look at the stars by the campfire. Very relaxing and a whole lot of fun!

Right from picking us up at the meeting point, Baiju our 4x4 driver was very welcoming and Mary was a lovely host. The layout and seating was so nice especially once the lights come on. The weather helped as well. Despite being a long term resident in the UAE, I didn't realise how much I enjoyed a desert safari and a BBQ Dinner out with friends. Would highly recommend Mary and her team at Destination Insight to organise your desert safari for you.

Thumbs up from my Teenager School group!

Took 12 teenagers on their school trip as part of a cultural experience before the World Scholars Cup competition - they absolutely loved it! Teens can be picky at the best of times but they absolutely lapped this experience up. The guides were so helpful - the activities fun and engaging, the food good and the cultural performances fun. Would certainly recommend to anyone and would definitely come again.

Amazing!

Amazing Trip. We organised the trip beforehand in the UK with Mary who is excellent and couldn’t be more helpful. We were a large group with 4 cars and the whole thing was organised so well. All the drivers were professional and great. Superb value for money wouldn’t use anybody else, this is the third time we have used Destination Insight. Kids and adults all enjoyed. Thank you!

Amazing side trip

Amazing experience with my guide, Baiju. My colleague and I had an afternoon off and booked this based on a friend’s recent experience. We were not disappointed! From the dune bashing to sandboarding to a visit to a camel farm (camels are some of my favorite animals now!) to going to a camp in the desert and enjoying middle eastern entertainment, including belly dancing— they did not disappoint! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure!
