Horrible experience

Absolutely disgusting experience. I paid for a VIP package and when I got there I was told I have to pay more. I also paid for quad bikes and again I had to pay 300 aed more. The food was disgusting. It was such a let down.

Yasir was alloted to take us to the desert safari. It was incredible. He was very professional & helpful. He speaks Arabic, urdu English & hindi. He gave us detailed information & let us have our time. I will highly recommend to book your adventure with him. He is also extremely punctual.

We had an amazing desert safari tour. Everything was upto the mark. Booked the trip 15 mins before the tour. A big farce ….

This has been an awful experience. After an hour or so, the car stops at a shop with no real reasons except for you to buy some goods from one of their friendly partner. Interestingly, we had to stop before to put some petrol in the car and while i wanted to get some coffee, the driver stopped me to do so…saying that there will be plenty later..well, not quite.. Well, these are details and these things exist everywhere… Soon after, we reached the location…my son and i were really excited about it…although already i started to be a bit sceptical when i realised that the so called desert adventure was located 5 mn from the motorway and shops… After 10 mn of rides into the desert ( well, i would have called this a sandy path), we finally arrived at destination… I was not disappointed… The place was in front of us. Magical, outstanding, fantastic, breathless, incredible experience… I am joking of course..the place was full of similar cars and tourists. Not really magical…you want a camel ride (as per our package)? Well go into the 20 mn queue and you will have the priviledge of a 3mn max tour around the parking…you fancy a squad ride? That will cost you 40gbp for 5 mn…keep this money and go karting in your city, you will get better value for money… At this stage, the only thing you want is to escape. I was thinking: Why have i paid so much and did 1 hour car ride to arrive in this cheap version of dysneyland in the desert…? Next step is to enter the camp. They give you the choice: go left and you sit on crowded table where you have to make very long queue to get some pieces of meat and a samosa that i imagine was not prepared the same day, or the day before even, likely done very far away and then lost in a freezer for some time…or go to the vip side. Typically VIP stands for very important person…maybe a better name would have been BSS (below standard space)… although my son was flattered with the title, he quickly realised that we will be stuck in a sofa for the next 4 hours…obviously the VIP has a price…additional to the package of course… In the next 20 mn, we have been offered so many things. I have to value here the professionalism and the insistence of the waiters to offer you all type of typical arabic food: samosas, ice cream, coca cola, french fries and much more…all at a cost of course… At this stage, we decided to go. Like a poker player that has been bluffing all night, we decided to take our losses.. I contacted the driver saying that my son was deeply ill…a lie that we had to imagine to escape from this big farce…he had to consult the office he said..well the office decided that we could go home… Another driver came, much less friendly than the first one drove us to the hotel…and like every stories, when it starts badly, it has to end badly…david lynch type of movie…instead of bringing us back to our hotel, he wanted to bring us to another hotel - for obscure reasons..he said it was a mistake but i know it was not… Indeed, before taking the car, he was arguing with the other driver about the destination and although i dont speak indian fluently, i recognised that there was an issue with our destination.. We lost another 40mn because of that.. If you want some adventure in the desert, i would rather suggest nintendo and supermario in the desert…

Great Safari

Amazing tour! Our guide was called Kamlesh and he was so lovely and accommodating. We did quad bikes, camel riding, dune bashing and sand surfing. The food included was very tatty and amazing dancing shows

Horrible desert safari

First of all, the driver who picked us asked us to pay 250 AED if we wanted exclusive use of the vehicle. We negotiated 200 AED. It was good while going but the driver refused to take us at the end of the trip. We repeatedly called him for almost an hour and he continued to make excuses. Almost everyone was gone. We felt helpless and when we saw him finally, he was taking another group and referred us to someone else. We paid for the exclusive pick and drop and this was what we got. When we sent messages to their whatsapp number about the service we got, no one replied, despite the messages being delivered and seen. When you reach the place, be prepared to keep paying additional money every step of the way. We upgraded our seating and we were told we would get VIP treatment, such as food and drinks would be delivered to our seats, as well as separate exclusive VIP buffet with additional food items. Buffet was a waste of money as almost everything was horrible and tasteless. It is disgusting to see how they want to keep on selling things every few minutes, toys, pictures, etc at extremely inflated rates. We don't recommend this tour operator, please stay away.

Luxury tours not so luxury

Told 1430 for pick up. Bus arrived at 1515 after a long wait Sand dune ride ok Camel ride poor. Charged 25 aed for a head scarf. Was a very money making experience. Upgraded to VIP as we did not want to wait until 7pm for food and receive no water. Food was better than expected. Show was not great. Left at 7.30 to get bus which we could not find and then another family took over 40 mins before they arrived. We drove a few minutes and got put on another bus. We did not get picked up where dropped off. Had to walk through a very muddy car park. Was not a good experience. Would not recommend.

Wonderful. Worth going once again

Our driver Waleed Akhtar was punctual and made sure that we were comfortable throughout the trip. Everything was available for us which was mentioned in our package. Overall, had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a great trip. Took a bunch of school students to a half day dessert safari, it was totally appropriate for them and they enjoyed a lot. Our main contact and guide was Kamlesh, he was particularly helpful and fun to be around.
