Unfortunately the tour...

Unfortunately the tour company did not provide Enough information regarding where we would collect our tickets from and how to get to the entrance from inside the Dubai mall. Also the driver that was arranged by the tour company did not know where to drop us off so he drove around in circles not knowing. This caused us to be a little late for our reservation and we had to run through the Dubai mall unnecessarily.

Views from the tower

It's a nice location with minimum directions to reach the tower entry point. Very crowded and less ventilation in the queue. Felt suffocated on the 125th floor as it was a low ceiling. Views are nice in 2 directions .

How can the world’s highest pool look so low?

The 145th floor is worth the wait. Truly great views. On the first floor I appreciate all of the posters recognizing the talent that built the building.

Waste of money

The elevator situation at Burj is a serious issue. Hot, muggy and crowded. The view was nice at the top, but the mass of disgusting humanity you have to swim through to get there was absurd. If you're ok with that, it's fine to do it once and check it off the list. Make sure you go to 153-4 for the open deck. Regarding the ticket, found out afterwards that it would have been cheaper and exactly the same to book the tickets ourselves via Burj's own website, which is quite easy to navigate. Overally a waste of money.

Not worth the extra money

I decided to take the sky tour when I visited the Burj Khalifa. This would be a once in a lifetime experience for me. It's very expensive, & not really worth spending the extra money on. Views from the lower levels are just as good.

Not do VIP

First things first: The agency organising it is great. Friendly, responsive and providing professional driver . Yet the Burj experience is in my view bad value for money. We still waited close to 30 Minutes between arriving and making to the viewing platform. Felt like herded cattle with 100ish folks awaiting being shouted at on how to form queues for the various lifts. Views were amazing. But not amazingly enough to justify ~ 1,000$ extra spend for the 4 of us. Checked the 125th floor and the views are still spectacular. So my tip is: Save the money for the “not so VIP” 148 and spend it on a dinner with close views onto the Burj instead. The Lightshow is free and simply jaw droppingly beautiful.

Impressive views.. but dreadfully overpriced and overrated

On a positive note the views were as impressive as you would expect from the “roof of Dubai” and we were fortunate enough to have booked at dusk and caught views of sunset over the sea. The guaranteed fast pass at least meant we avoided what must have been an interminable wait in the static queues for the elevator. On a more significantly negative point, we felt completely abandoned once at the top, the promised refreshments were at best basic and it took us over an hour to descend, with no apparent clear arrangements. Almost £60 pounds for a souvenir photograph was extortionate and we felt the entire experience was vastly overpriced. On finally leaving the tower, we wandered around the Lake and watched the Fountain and Light Display, spectacular against the backdrop of the Burj Khalifa…and completely free! In retrospect we would have had a better experience doing just this (but without the summit views, of course!)

Not worth it

No time saved — should have bought a ticket myself and taken a taxi, would have been less expensive and more reliable.

Worth it for the bucket list

The car that picked us up was Smokey and dropped us off in a place where if we didn’t know our way there it would have been tough. Uber would have done the Same. Otherwise was fine. The view is obviously great. The drink and snack is just coffee some dates and little cookies. Not impressive. And they charge $100 to get your picture taken by them. Preferred the palm jumeriah overall if you have to pick one. But still worth it to cross it off the bucket list.

Lovely experience at sunset

Amazing views, less crowded and noisy like the lower 125/124 floors (many screaming kids). Snacks and coffee provided were a nice touch

Serious?

If you're doing payment via main website, it says 'Session time out! Your session has expired. If your online payment has been successfully completed, kindly allow us upto 24hours to receive a booking confirmation, on your registered email address.' You can book as fast as hell, either way this message will pop up. I kindly allowed them 24hours and there was rien du tout in my mail box. For 2 expensive tickets there should be a booking confirmation IMMEDIATELY. Stupid.

Burg Khalifa Visit

My wife and I made the trip to Dubai and a visit to the Burj Khalifa. We had our own transportation, and the Will Call ticket pickup was without a problem. Everything around the Burj was very nice, but it was very hazy outside, and we could not get good views of the Dubai skyline. We can now say we were on the 124th & 125th floors on the world's currently tallest building.

What an experience!

Outstanding organization. The quick elevator travel with an interesting and clarifying movie on the walls. The views are to remember for all the life. We never feel dizzy during all the visits to outdoor terraces. A must!

We where in Burj Khalifa in February 2020. We hade nice presentation. Unbelievable view. Good service.

Too much money

We went at 18pm the money paid was too much just to skip a queue, the view at night just lights much better to admire from below not worth £148

Very disappointed: plan your own arrival far in advance of ticket time.

I had checked with Alpha Tours in advance to see if our 5 pm ticket time was the right choice to get us up to see things in daylight before the 5:45 sunset and was assured it was. By no means did the included 4:30 hotel pickup achieve this. Our driver wasn’t sure where to drop us but finally left us off in the Dubai Mall’s subterranean garage close to 5 pm ( which was supposed to be our ticket entry time). Now In the second largest mall in the world we had to try on our own to figure out where the Burj Khalifa entrance was and how to get there. This is NOT your average Mall. After asking we learned there is an indoor taxi service but the line was busy and once you get through there’s a wait for pickup and then a good 10-minute ride. Then and only then you get in a line at the ticket counter to enter (despite the fast pass), a wait for your group to be called, a long line, walk, and wait for the elevator. Needless to say it was about 6:30 before we got to the top. Had I known we’d have just gotten our own taxi to the Mall and arrived way earlier. I guess it’s a good view, but since we’d never been there all we could make out is lights: that’s why I’d wanted to arrive in daylight. At some point after 5 while trying to reach the entrance, I called Alpha to ask if we could just trade in that day’s ticket for another and try again but was told this wasn’t possible. Very poorly planned. Not the experience we’d looked forward to or thought we’d paid for.

Beautiful view from the top

We took the VIP package for you were fast tracked all the way wich if you go you will see how long the queus are to get in and for the lifts. For getting through that was worth the money alone but as a package it's not worth it once you see the view wich.only takes about 20 mins that's ot

148th Floor definitely worth it!!!

We had the Sky VIP tickets and fast tracked all the long queues from check in to the elevators. The view were awesome from the 148th floor, the lounge stylish , serene and quite with seating area offering stunning views of the Sheikh Zayed Road. We were served an assortment of Arabic sweets, cookies , dates and coffee. Later checked the 124th Floor and it was pretty crowded. Try skipping the guided tours as much of the info is self explanatory.

Impressive and worth it

Booked a fast track ticket which was worth the extra money. You skip the queues and go straight to the front on both up and down. The lifts are fantastic if there wasn't a floor counter you wouldn't know you're moving, and you don't get that lurching feeling in your stomach - great. I went at night as I thought the views would be clearer, and I wasn't wrong, Great views from both the 124 and 125 floor, watch out for the photo sellers and souvenirs! A definite must if you're in Dubai - a word of warning even if you have purchased fast track tickets you still have to queue to get the physical ticket, so factor that into the time.

Breakfast indulgence in the sky

Magical Breakfast on 152th level of Burj Khalifa, kind and professional service from Mr. Bijay. All the sandwiches and pastries are delicious. The 153-154th levels are the highest you can experience in Burj Khalifa, over these floors there is only a praying floor for the Sheikh. Unique in every aspects, definitely a must try.

This is the Burj experience you want to do

You need a 148 floor skip the queue ticket. it will cost you more but it is worth it. relaxed no queuing , complimentary drinks and snacks at the top. beautiful relaxing lounge. AND you can still get off at the more busy tourist level of 125 and go on that deck too. Go early to avoid most crowds and heat haze

Stunning views BUT almost didn’t make it!

My partner and I loved the excursion, everything we wanted it to be and more, for a moment though we almost missed our booking/slot. Before we even arrived to the Dubai Mall which is where it’s located we went to our hotel lobby waiting for our pick up and it started getting later and later. We asked our hotel reception if anyone had made contact but nothing. So we did worry and thought we’d been let down, until a hotel receptionist couldn’t have worked any harder if he tried!! The driver from Alpha tours eventually turned at 9:35AM when the original time was for 9AM. Let me stress they made no contact whatsoever until we made the first move. Just being reassured would have be nice. We made it - barely, our slot was for 10AM but we got to the ticket office for just after 10:05AM. Luckily we had a lovely lady serve us but anyone else and you never know. From there the rest is what we expected and so much more with stunning 360 degree views! Being served tea when we got to the top not once, not twice but as much as you want. They certainly look after you up there. For those doing it for the first time don’t panic once you arrive at the Mall the signs to the Burj Khalifa is lit in blue and they direct you straight there. YOU WILL NOT GET LOST! On the way back we arranged our own transportation home as the excursion doesn’t include transfer both ways. The taxi from the Mall to the Palm where we were staying was about 100-150 dirham depending on traffic and time of day.

Birthday Celebration

Paid for the VIP ticket, so helped in not having to wait in long queues. Very expensive for to have a professional photo taken, just for 1 it cost 340 dirhams, way too expensive.

Amazing

The Burj Khalifa is awesome. Leave enough time to find the entrance, which is the lower ground floor of the Dubai mall (not ground) near the food stores. The mall is huge and our driver gave little direction, in fact staff there were unsure too as we were directed all over the place. You are asked to wait in a separate lounge and a guide takes you up to the top level 148 and leaves you to take in the views, here there’s tea and coffee. Our guide wasn’t around when we looked for him so we did our own thing descending to levels 125/124 when the sun had gone down. Would recommend 4pm or 5pm entrance. It’s worth not having to queue as we did bypass standard ticket holders.

Burj Khalifa Visit with TripAdvisor

Going to the absolute top of the Burj Khalifa was well worth the visit all the way to the top. The staff was professional and informative, and the view was stunning. Be forewarned, photographs at the top were very expensive, and cost approximately $100 USD. While I loved the tour, I was disappointed that the TripAdvisor price of the event kept changing from day to day, doubling in price. I paid $358.00 for two tickets, while others only paid $$211.00 for two tickets - both purchased from TripAdvisor. The event gets 5-stars, but TripAdvisor only gets 1-star for a very high, unexpected ticket hike changing over a one day period prior to purchasing. None of the other companies who offered this event tour raised/changed their prices, but times did not match our tour availability so was forced to make the purchase with TripAdvisor. Shop around early if you can to avoid paying an exorbitant price for this tour from TripAdvisor.

Brothers trip!

Visiting Dubai on an annual brothers trip! Spectacular city and an incredible building! However, I think at close to $200 each, it is wayyyy overpriced! I’ve been to Shanghai Tower, Empire State etc.,,, many buildings-it should not cost this much! Besides that it’s am awesome engineering marvel!

148th Floor Well Worth It

We decided to take the experience of going to the higher observation deck and its certainly worth it. We went at 10am and it wasnt crowded at all could move around the see everything. Professional photos at the top are fantastic too. In our opinion well worth the extra

It was good

We were so excited to go on this excursion! All of the information was informative. But floor 148 wasn’t anymore exciting than floor 124. Not sure if it was worth the extra money, but if you know you’re only visiting Dubai one time in your life, then you go for it.

Expensive, not as described

We were surprised to find on arrival that we had to queue to get into the greeting room where there were definitely more that 12 people. No chat about the building. We were then herded to the lifts into which were were squashed. We then had to go to another area to wait in lines for another lift, again quite crowded. When eventually we got to the 148 floor it was busy. A small coffee and date was offered. It wasn't easy to get to the actual outside platform window as there were so many people. Yes, it was nearing sunset, a popular time, but we felt there was more space and better views from 125 floor, once we got a lift to get down. Everything seemed a bit dis-organised. We ended up being in the wrong queue to go back down to ground level. People were getting out of a lift on 125 to go on up and no signs told them to go round the other side. Staff had to keep telling the people where to go. A shame as it spoilt the visit as it didn't feel like money well spent.

View from the top

A rather expensive experience but we decided it was a once in a lifetime experience and enjoy the views from high up ( previously the Empire State Building and the Twin Towers to name a few) The party size was limited to 12 but our tour comprised of just 4. Our guide was attentive and provided excellent information. The view was spectacular and there were very few people on this level so we had clear views inside and out. The coffee / tea provided was welcome. When we went down to the 125 floor it was crowded and much less pleasant. In conclusion if you can afford it go to 148. Highly recommmended

A bit disappointing...

We paid to go up to the 148th floor and for this privilege, we were given a date and a cup of coffee. I would have preferred the “high tea” experience, but it was not even offered!

WOW

Recently did at the top of Burj Khalifa we chose the VIP package with afternoon tea, beat the crowds and experience level 154 with the outside platform. High tea was beautiful and catered for vegetarian’s staff very attentive. Views are amazing highly recommend

Wow!

Booked the At the Top SKY Burj Khalifa Level 148 experience and it was definitely everything we expected and and a bag of chips. It was all that. Combined with a clear night in Dubai the day we went up made it even more special. The night view was spectacular. Coffee and condiments was served, staff very attentive and after 1 hr of just enjoying the view, went down to level 125 and enjoyed the view even more. Definitely an experience to remember while in Dubai.

Burj Khalifa

Well worth the extra cost for this trip. Pick up from hotel straight to check in desk. Small group, excellent guide who was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Arabian coffee and dates on arrival at Level 148 and no time limit for our stay. View was a bit hazy....normal for this time of year, but unbelievable none the less. More beverages available during the time there. Outside observation deck was amazing. Called into lower level observation decks on our way down.....so glad we paid the extra for Level 148!!

Level 148!!

Amazing views. Especially at sunset as you see all the city lights come on. Starting down at the tall buildings is an amazing thing to do. Fast track tickets that you get with level 148 also let you skip the queue on the way out!!! Or it can take over an hour just to leave.

Truly amazing building that beggars belief. Even more incredible it’s was built so quickly in that climate ! The ‘excursion’ was a little soul-less (Compared to say: visiting the Empire State Building) but in such a new City with not much history - that’s perhaps to be expected. But the sights, sounds and experiences of the building itself and the area around its base are fabulous - and a must-do if you can !

Amazing View @ 148

Visited on May 19, 2019 at 11:30 am. No queue. Bought VIP ticket for 148th Floor - we're only less than 10. The Tour Guide gave informative facts how Burj Dubai was built and how it was renamed to Burj Khalifa. At observation desk gives additional chilling effects when you walk as you can hear the creaking sound of wooden floor. There are photo services which will shock you more than looking down at the top of tallest building - one photo is costlier than the admission fee ha ha. From 148th - you can go down to 125th and 124th Floor where it's a bit crowdy. Friendly staff. Overall - amazing view and unforgettable experience. Bucket List - Checked!!!

Everyone must visit Burj Khalifa Level 148 'At the Top SKY' try to visit in prime time to get panaromic view of dubai

Stunning view that doesn't seem real.

An iconic experience that should not be missed. Level 148 was so quiet and peaceful. It was easy to see the view on all sides as there were only a limited number of visitors. Worth the expense for a 360 degree unrestricted view of the surrounds from both inside as well as outside. The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Refreshments were also delicious.

a must if you’re in dubai

We paid around £90 each with virgin as they were our holiday reps. This included a VIP pass which meant we got to skip the massive queues!! going straight into a VIP lounge for a short wait where we were offered refreshments and tea. This also meant we had a tour guide where we leant some interesting facts about the Burj, skipped even more queues for the elevator etc. We got to stop at floor 124 and 148 where we then had free time to enjoy the AMAZING views without the guide. definitely recommend if you are going to dubai, not everyone can say they’ve been up the tallest building in the world! something to tick off the bucket list.

Landmark

Good experience, except for the fact that pur guide (who manage the tour from the ground up to the 148e floor) was apparently in a rush and really botched this part of the experience. Fast track ticket do save a lot of time, and the 148th salon is quiet and luxurious. Then the price....very expensive

Enchanting View from the top. Awesome View you feel as if you have got wings to fly Fly Fly and touch the Sjky!!

Poor and not worth the money

The driver turned up late and didn't know where we were going. We were then dropped off at the opposite side of a shopping mall to the venue ( a ploy i think to get you to shop) and the driver just told us to get out and didn't bother to tell us where to go.When we eventually found the ticket place we were told to stand in long queue even though we had booked the VIP experience with fast track. Staff were unhelpful and did not seem to care, finally 30 minutes or so after our ticket booking time we were then crammed into small rooms and asked to wait again, the rooms were extremely hot due to volume of people and no air conditioning. Once we got to the lift again after much waiting we were squashed in again with far too many people, on reaching the 148th floor we felt herded out and there were so many people it was hard to get a good view point, by this time our group had had enough and we got back in the lifts and left. On the whole poor customer service almost rude on occasion, not worth the money paid and improvement needed to manage crowds and amount of people allowed on floors at one time, Disappointed!

Must see!

We booked online tickets and picked the 23.00-24.00 slot to make sure it's not very busy anymore. We were very happy about this slot as even at this late slot we had to queue up for the elevator going down. I assume that if you go during the day it will be too busy and annoying. Very nice view

See it from far or see it from outside.

No need to go inside with what they charge for the entry tix. Enclosed elevator. 40 seconds of whoosh and slight feeling of weight less ness, and you are on top. If you really must go to the floor 125 and you are still above every other building and save 70% off of that tix. But then there is not much to see, other that a whole lot of desert. But if thats your thing, and want a check box, go for it. Take metro. Its much more efficient and economical.

Invest into the "top of the world"

Yes, it's more expensive than floor 125 and yes, it's not cheap. However you get a view and crazy understanding how high this building really is. In a very nice atmosphere - way less crowed then 125th floor (which you can see afterwards anyway for free.). Once in a life-time investment.

Level 148 gives you the perfect view desired

Level 148 is the only level that gives you a perfect view desired wth minimal rush. Level 122 is a bit cowdy, else everyone has their own preference.

Confusion

It wasn’t the greatest experience I’ve ever had. There was lots of confusion. Directions weren’t clear. A couple other people in my group were also unsure of where to go or what to do next.
