A fine time

Unfortunately we couldn’t make it to all the sites because we were not feeling well from the heat. The driver did take us to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Qasr Al Watan where we were able to take some amazing photos. The tour only included transportation to the sites, likely due to parking challenges or logistical reasons. For those looking for detailed insights or a deeper understanding of the sites, this might be a limitation. Overall, we had a fine time and enjoyed the experience but the price seemed a bit high for what it’s worth.

Not what expected

The tour itself lasted 4 hours. We were able to change the order of some of our destinations which was helpful as it meant we could be dropped off at our hotel at the end. Our car was comfortable and clean too. Our guide didn’t explain the sights and gave very little detail beyond dates of development of landmarks. We were also meant to be taken to the Spice Souks, however instead were taken to a shop, where he seemed to be friends with the staff, and we felt very pressured to buy things. When we asked about the Spice Souks, he told us that is what they were like, however when leaving to get back on the boat, we passed them and he had to admit these were the true Spice Souks.

Memorable Abu Dhabi Tour despite unexpected challenges

Our excursion to Abu Dhabi, facilitated by Viator, offered a fascinating exploration of iconic landmarks like the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Louvre museum, and Qasr Al Watan Palace. Zain, our knowledgeable guide, expertly navigated the itinerary, providing historical context and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Before embarking, important to understand the dress code—modest attire is essential for mosque and palace visits, with comfortable shoes for extensive walking. I would recommend having the necessary attire before the tour and opt to buy them during the tour to avoid inflated prices. For attire, a shirt and pants suffice, provided they cover from neck to ankle. Additionally, bring a scarf to cover your head and hair, and consider tying your hair back for convenience. Despite initial concerns about road conditions post-heavy rainfall, assurances from the tour company allayed our fears. The tour's highlights included insightful commentary from Zain and a satisfying buffet lunch. However, unexpected road closures on the return journey due to flooding tested our patience. Zain admirably managed the situation, though clearer communication during tense moments would have been appreciated. Despite the challenges, our Abu Dhabi tour was an enriching experience, thanks to Viator and Zain's professionalism.

Great custom tailored tour

The four of us were very happy to have found this private tour that catered to our needs. We wanted to see the Mosque, the Palace and the Louvre in Abu Dhabi and that's exactly what we got. We liked our driver, had fantastic visits and enjoyed our lunch. It was truly a perfect outing. The only downside was maybe that our driver couldn't accompany us into the venues and we didn't get a guided tour of the sights itself.

A great day trip to Abu Dahbi in the comfort of a private guide and car. Our tour guide Durgesh is friendly and knowledgeable. itinerary was customisable as we requested to forgo the shopping and have a cuppa at the Emirates Palace Hotel instead! overall, we went to all major spots including the Lourve, Palace & Grand Mosque! highly recommended for those who wants to explore in convenience and comfort!

Exceeded our expectations

Had such a great trip. Everything went so smoothly and all three sites were wonderful. Our tour guide and driver were very informative, organized, and kind. We really liked that we had the freedom to explore the sites on our own and take our time. We were offered to make some additional stops which we declined since we just wanted to focus on the three main destinations. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

Incredible experience to see Abu Dhabi at your own leisure

The private Abu Dhabi tour was such a fantastic experience. We had Munir as our guide and he was just an absolute joy. He explained to our all the sights we were seeing, took care of logistics, and even shared tiny snippets of the city that would be otherwise not available! We loved the private tour as it gave us some time to manage the journey in our own pace. Munir was always attentive in asking us whether we would like more time and making sure that we were having a good tour. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience!

Great day in Abu Dhabi

My tour guides for this trip was Durgesh and Sonia. Both of them were fantastic as they were very accommodating, knowledgable, and friendly. They arrived promptly in the morning for pick up and were able to efficiently take me around Abu Dhabi hitting the major attractions and even stopping by a site of my interest outside the original itinerary, which I very much appreciated. If I had to nitpick a negative, it would be the random “local culture” stop after lunch at a nearby house. This nothing more than a gift shop/carpet sales. Outside of this, everything was perfect. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour for anyone who wants to see the key attractions of Abu Dhabi without the hassle of doing everything yourself (renting a car, driving, parking, food stops, tickets, etc).

Excellent

Despite some road closures due to the floods, we were able to make it. Our driver was positive and very encouraging the whole trip. It was excellent. Lunch was delicious. He took extra time to show us more of the city from the car. We were stuck in traffic going and coming back to the hotel but he made up for it so we were able to see everything included in the tour.

Beautiful Abu Dhabi

We had a great time exploring Abu Dhabi! It was a smooth and pleasant tour. Very well organised and punctual. Durgesh and Sonia were fabulous and informative. Thank you for helping us create beautiful memory of Abu Dhabi.

Overall a good tour, but not all aspects.

This tour worked well for us in general, although not perfect. We ticked the boxes with seeing what we had desired, with good time allocated (about 90 minutes each) - the Louvre, War al Watan Palace, and then the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. We cannot complain about any of these. The logistics of pickup and drop-off were fine, and our driver was good. We finished about 8:30pm (advertised to be 6pm, which didn't bother us - we got more value for money!). However there were a few niggles. We were taken to see Ferrari World, but it was just to the end of the ticket line in the shopping centre, to spend 2 minutes taking a photo at the sign, and then leave. A waste of time. If we wanted to go there, we would have booked a tour which included it. Then in the afternoon there was the compulsory sales pitch, where they took us to a "museum" which was a shop pushily pitching carpets and gold wall hangings. This looked like a sales kick-back for the operators. Of course we didn't buy anything, and felt it was a waste of 40 minutes from the tour. Lunch was late, at 4pm, but covered in the cost, and was at a Lebanese restaurant with quite good food. Finally, at the end of the day, at drop off from the car, the guide demanded that we pull out our phones to give a positive TripAdvisor review for Navita Tours, mentioning the name of the guide, and including a photo of him. He admitted that he gets paid bonuses for each positive review. This left a sour taste in our mouths, and cheapened the experience. Please read the other reviews in light of this.

Amazing experience in Abu Dhabi

We had an amazing experience with this tour. The tour guide provided context and some history of the UAE culture, but at the same time he provided space for us to be by ourselves and explore. I highly recommend this tour.

Worth Booking as a Day Trip

A really good tour to book for family or solo travellers. I was travelling with elderly family members and it was great for them as well. Durgesh was a great tour guide, explained many different elements about Abu Dhabi, the history and interesting facts to know. The benefit is as it is a private tour, you can take your time exploring and the guides are very understanding with timings and will flex as needed. It is a great service, with seamless communication and everything is taken care of. The lunch spot include was also brilliant, I recommend the camel dish and camel milk! If you want a good tour to explore the top cultural attractions of Abu Dhabi, I highly recommend this tour.

Good day trip from Dubai to see the highlights of Abu Dhabi. Amazing mosque and interesting presidential palace topped off with the amazing Louvre. A full day including a buffet lunch. Just skip the shopping stop.

Excellent experience for a quick look at Abudabi and Dubai

I had the most patient and pleasant tour guide ever! Nothing felt rushed. Ram ( bless him) and the driver( I forgot his name) are amazing. They do go beyond and above to ensure we were heard and taken care of. I left my phone in the van and they were gracious enough to come back to hotel to return it. They are good people! They are genuine people! The whole tour was lead with grace! Having the opportunity to explore Abi Dhabi was amazing. It’s a hidden and rising gem.

A great time saver

When I book the tour I thought it was a small group tour, but it turned out to be a private tour. Basically a driver for the day, which is a lot more convenient then waiting for taxi, it also gave us the flexibility of how long we want to stay at each location without having to wait for others. The guid was knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this tour.

Ram was a great tour guide and provided us everything we needed for the tour. Would highly recommend the mosque and Ferrari world combo. The mosque was breathtaking and a must see if you are visiting. For Ferrari world, We visited during Ramadan and the wait times for the rides were max 10 minutes.

Crazy guide stay away

The driver/pseudo private guide has been very rude. He essentially did not join us in any tour he was just a very nervous driver. Then he pretended to bring us to a art-gallery indeed it was a shop where presumably he would have collected some commission. He was even texting mobile while driving. Really not a professional guide for the price please stay away and indeed Abu Dhabi is great for a day trip

From Dubai to Abu Dhabi with Bilal

Bilal picked us up at our hotel and drove to Abu Dhabi explaining on the way. In Abu Dhabi he took us to the Louvre, to lunch and then on to Qasr Al Watan (the palace) and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The whole day was a marvelous experience which we highly recommend!

Fantastic, a must see!

I was staying in Dubai and am so glad I went to Abu Dhabi- it was so different. Bilal was our guide and he was very informative and was lovely to be with. All 3 stops are well worth the visit, Abu Dhabi is so cultural compared to Dubai. This is a must see!
