Great time to visit Corcovado ! I recommend booking the tour. We had a great time in family and the guide show us so many animals

Dissapointing

This was the most dissapointing tour in my life. Estación Sirena is overcrowded and they even run a tractor there, imagine what a reserve...Guide didn' t even bother to introduce himself, he was only interested in collecting money as soon as he saw us. During the tour guide said the sloths are constantly smiling because they are under the influence of something they eat. Made me wonder if everytjing he said was that innacurate. Asked him if they had poaching problem and he had no idea what it was. Mud on the trail was horrible at some places and made it dangerous to walk without proper shoes (no one informed us about this before the trip). Wouldn' t have gone there had I knew how it was.

Pas assez de variétés d'animaux

Le guide est super il a tout bien expliqué. Mais les groupes sont tous ensemble. En fait la randonnée démarre à 8h30 et à 11h30 on rejoint la Sirena pour déjeuner avec 2h de break. La prestation est très chère pour ce que l'on y voit.

Aventure inoubliable au Corcovado, bateau et déjeuner inclus

Nous avons eu la chance, grâce à notre guide (et notre guide junior!) de voir deux tapirs, pleins de singes, des crocodiles, des oiseaux magnifiques. La guide était très humaine et connaissait très bien le parc. Nous avons déjeuné un plat typique (riz, haricots et viande en sauce) avant de terminer la journée par le trajet en bateau. Le bateau était à part entière une activité mémorable, le crew était très agréable et il nous a déposé à l’hôtel. Merci à Jonathan de nous avoir roulé dans sa voiture du bateau à la porte de l’hôtel ! Nous recommandons cette activité inoubliable et incontournable Merci encore

Our Estefanny Guide made our experience even better.

Certainly my expectations were high and I did not get disappointed. We were fortunate that the Stefanny Guide showed us so much fauna, explained anecdotes and the interestingness of each species. All very safe, pleasant and well explained. But come back certainly. The boat very well. A tip bring some water sandals to get on and off the boat and for the food area.

Long journey and quite a hustle and bustle

The park is really wonderful and you can see a lot of animals, good and friendly guide, nice simple lunch at the station. However, we saw almost more animals on our own trails near Drake Bay. When we left Drake Bay there were already a lot of people on the beach, a bit of chaos. Our group had 9 people plus a guide. The boat raced for over an hour at full speed with 250 HP, crashing over the waves. Eco is something else. Well over 100 people crowded at the entrance. It doesn't get much better on the few trails. We saw a few centimeters of a sloth, a few monkeys and a few birds.

The best tour in Corcovado!!!

The tour was incredible, pure emotion! During the boat transfer we saw whales and in Corcovado we saw many animals, we were able to photograph them and we really enjoyed the experience. At Gitana Tour they take care of all the details. We recommend it 100%.

Great tour

El tour tanto la ruta a pie por San Pedrillo como el snorkel estuvieron muy bien. Lo disfrute mucho y los guías fueron muy buenos.

Aufenthalt in Casa Gitana und Tour nach Corcovado

Wir haben eine Woche bei Edith und Jonathan in Casa Gitana gewohnt. Die beiden sind super herzliche Menschen, die uns mit offenen Armen und einem Begrüßungs-Cocktail empfangen haben :) Bei Fragen zu unserem Aufenthalt und Tipps und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung, konnten wir uns immer an sie wenden. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas außerhalb von Drake, aber dafür super ruhig und mit einem eigenem, fast menschenleeren Strand. Das Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant durften wir mit Blick aufs Meer genießen. Zudem wird Mittag-, als auch Abendessen gekocht. Es werden unterschiedliche Touren im Hotel angeboten. Wir haben uns für die Tour in den Nationalpark Corcovado entschieden. Da wir Gäste im Hotel waren, gab es sogar einen Rabatt für die Tour. Wir wurden früh morgens nach dem Frühstück zum Strand gefahren, wo schon ein Boot auf uns gewartet hat. Mit dem Boot ging es nun ca 1 Stunde zum Nationalpark. Unser Guide, der uns durch den Nationalpark geführt hat, hat uns viele verschieden Tiere gezeigt. An der Station Sirena angekommen, gab es eine kurze Pause und danach ging es durch den Nationalpark zurück zum Strand. Auf dem Rückweg im Boot gab es einen Snack und danach ein leckeres, costa-ricanisches Mittagessen im Restaurant des Hotels. Es war ein reibungsloser Ablauf der Tour und ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in Casa Gitana! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, denn ist einer der schönsten Orte in Costa Rica :-)

Este tour que hace Gitana tour adventure in Corcovado esta muy completo, salida a las 6am de Bahia Drake por 1 hora en barco, caminata es de unas 5 horas en la estacion de Sirena, se ahace con un grupito privado pequeño de unos 7 personas. Nos dan agua enbotellada y almuerzo muy delicioso con opsiones veganas y vegetarianas, y una merienda de fruta y galleta. Pudimos apreciar la Danta (tapir) sainos, peresosos, guacamallos, ballenas en este tiempo con su baby, y los coatis y 1 guatusa.
