Unforgettable Desert Safari with the Amazing AJ!

We went on a desert safari in Doha and it was absolutely incredible! You have to go on this tour to really experience the thrill and beauty of the desert. Our driver, AJ, was fantastic — fun, knowledgeable, and made the whole journey exciting and safe. We rode quad bikes, my family rode camels, we stopped to take some great photos, explored the dunes, and got some amazing family pictures. Honestly, we couldn’t recommend this tour — and especially our driver AJ — highly enough. It was a truly unforgettable experience! Big thanks to the Four Season Doha too for organising.

Unforgettable desert trip

I came to visit my sister who lives in Qatar and she surprised me with this 1/2 day desert trip. Ammar came highly recommended from of her work friends. He was hired as our tour guide and did an amazing job. From the moment he picked us up he explained the tour in detail. He also gave us Qatar history tidbits along the drive. The camel ride and sand dune drive were so much fun, adventurous and exhilarating. I felt safe at all times during the drive thru the desert. I am extremely impressed with the services provided and everything I learned today. If you book for this service, try to request Ammar if he is available.

Best Dunes Experience!!

Ammar is the best tour guide we’ve ever had. We would come back to Qatar just for him! He was so pleasant, helpful and safe. We did the ATVs, camel ride, dune bashing, which was the highlight since he was driving and he is super safe, and sandboarding! I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing during the dune bashing. It was quite the ride! It is a must when you are in Qatar! The desert is beautiful and the sunset was magnificent! We hope to be back for more fun and adventure with Ammar!

Well worth it

From start to finish this tour was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the camel ride and time with the falcon (extra to tour price but worth it). Thebl dune bashing was totally amazing and Nabeel, my guide, was fabulously safe, but made the experience enjoyable. The highlight was also seeing the ocean between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Definitely recommend this tour for something extra special.

Best dune bashing in Doha!

Amir was the most amazing tour guide who went over and above for us ! We rode a camel, held a Hawke and went 4wd over dunes ! (Dune bashing ) It was exhilarating and we felt safe the whole time . If you don’t get him to take you to see the inland sea while you are in Doha you have totally wasted your trip to Doha. It is a must do experience that you won’t experience anywhere else in the world !

Best experience for Dunes, camels and fun in Qatar - part 1

Our recent trip to the Inland Sea was an extraordinary adventure that exceeded all expectations. As a group of four adults and one child, we went on a desert journey that was both thrilling and incredibly safe, thanks to our experienced driver who expertly navigated the challenging dunes. We had the unique opportunity to visit camels and falcons. Sandboarding was a hit with everyone, especially the kid in our group! It was exhilarating to slide down the smooth dunes, and the activity added a playful element to our adventure. The sight of the Inland Sea was breathtaking—a beautiful contrast between the sand dunes and the tranquil water was a view we will never forget. Additionally, witnessing the sunset over the desert was a magical moment. Overall, the trip was well-organized, educational, and filled with fun. It's a fantastic travel choice for families or groups looking to explore the beauty of the desert safely and comfortably. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable desert experience! Absolutely love to recommend even for solo trip

Really, really enjoyed the wonderful tour with Ammar. I actually have been to many deserts all over the world but the one in Qatar feels so special - white soft dunes with beach at the same time, definitely my most favorite. I will never forget swimming in Inland Sea experience. Ammar made everything safe, fun and special!

We live here and have been in the dunes with 4 different tours when family visit. Desert Fox was the very best, hands down!! Excellent visit to art installations in the Qatari desert

I had a wonderful tour to the Richard Serra and Eliasson Olafur art installations in the desert. Abdul Rahman was an excellent and knowledgeable chaperon, explaining not only about the art installations visited, but also about life in Qatar and in the Middle East in general. Really a interesting experience, highly recommended.

Great tour!

Wonderful tour! My two girls (9 and 12) were super happy! We started at 3 pm from the hotel and had daylight, sunset and night in the desert.

Our tour guide picked us up from the hotel and drove us through the city and his general knowledge of Doha was impressive. The desert was breathtaking, magical and absolute pleasure to see. The Dunes bashing was a cherry on top, the scenery was magical, met by the adrenaline of bashing, impeccable!! Absolutely recommend it...

Great immersive tour

Went on a half-day tour with Sultan and enjoyed the desert views, dune-bashing, inland sea etc. Sultan was also generous and patient with taking pictures, suggesting views, sharing interesting local/cultural nuggets. Would recommend!

Half day desert tour

I had a lot of fun exploring the desert in Qatar. The landscape is amazing and our tour guide is excellent. I’m so impressed and enjoyed with his desert driving. Plus I saw the real oryxes at the end of the trip. I’d like to recommend Desert fox to you guys ;)

Awesome Experience.

The half day experience is the most suggested, it starts reaching the first part of the near desert, exiting Doha. After you can choose the activities to do: quad, buggy, see the internal sea, ride a camel and other… The experience with buggy if perfect if you like adrenaline and having real fun… seeing the internal sea is spectacular. All of there’s activities added to the professionality and sympathy of Sanjays will create an amazing experience. Sanjaya has a great ability to drive his 4x4 through the dune of the desert, he will think about everything you will just have to relax and enjoy the trip. He also bring the water and for every request is available… and also a great photographer! For me everyone who comes to doha should do this trip!

Pleasant and thrilling ride

Sultan was awesome. He was adventurous at the same time was safe in the thrilling ride. The island sea is a natural wonder. He also made a stop for us on top of the dinner for the sunsets

The driver Sanjay was very informative and knowlegable with regards to Qatar and all the activities we did today. A lovely experience. And would highly recommend going with Desert Fox for Quad biking, Buggys and anything to do with Desert fun!

We book through Desert Fox tourism for a Half day Safari and the tour was great. We had fun and we were picked up on time. Safari driver is also licensed and well experienced.
