Fantastic morning seeing Kakadu by air with Kookaburra Air

Fantastic morning with Matt, flew low so we got a great view of the landscape. Great to fly over places we had seen from the ground (especially the view of the “crocodile hotel” in Jabiru. Highly recommend.

Thrill of a lifetime

We were so glad we selected this scenic flight. They went out of their way to make our experience fantastic. Matt our pilot and guide was wonderful and made sure we saw as much as we could and were as comfortable as possible. Fantastic way to see Kakadu from the air, especially Jabiru. Loved it. Absolutely amazing flight - awesome pilots ... no words can describe how much we enjoyed this flight. From the moment you walked in we were treated like old friends - great laughs and chat - best way to see some of our magic country. Couldn't recommend these guys enough. Already booked next flight for 2024 .. can't wait to experience this next adventure.

Informative and beautiful scenic flight

There was a slight delay in getting away so it was a bit warmer in the plane however the flight itself was spectacular. We felt very confident in our pilot Steve and he provided a very informative review of the area, incorporating significant and lesser-known landmarks as well as indigenous stories. We flew down quite low in some areas and were able to spot some crocs. It was a great way to see the area and would recommend the tour. Trip info: probably just need to arrive 10 mins or so prior to start time, water provided, bathroom available in office area.

The views we had of our great country from the air were fantastic the information from the pilot was very informative most of all we felt very comfortable and safe with our pilot 👩‍✈️

Kakadu by air was fantastic!

Wow! We had an absolutely fantastic day out exploring Kakadu by air. Our pilot Ryan had great knowledge of the area and tried his best to ensure we had a pleasant flight. I would recommend Kookaburra air and will be using them when I come back to Darwin in the future.

The escarpment was spectacular and the only way to truly appreciate it was by air.

It was OK disappointing to scoot back high above the clo I d's,surely a loop home would have added to sight seeing adventure

Kakadu by Air, the way to go!

This was the perfect way to grasp the wonders of Kakadu. Our Pilot Steve was great and very willing to share his vast knowledge and experience of the area. We came away with a new appreciation, of this amazing part of the world. A great value for money experience, highly recommended. Will return for the Katherine Trip.

Kakadu by air

My first time in a small aircraft and could not have enjoyed it more. Our pilot Bailey was very friendly and professional. The best way to see such spectacular country by far, would totally recommend for anyone.

The whole experience was fantastic. Our pilot Bailey was friendly and professional. The views over Kakadu were well worth the cost which I thought was reasonable and value for money. Would totally recommend especially if you are time poor.

Such an amazing experience, incredible views. Our Pilot Steve was fantastic. He was very welcoming and shared lots of interesting information. Absolutely recommend the experience and the pilot.

A birds eye view of a natural wonder

This has to be the best way to experience the enormity of Kakadu. Guided by Josh, it was a great way to see the different aspects of the national Park.

Excellent Kakadu scenic flight

The entire flight was excellent, our pilot Daniel was really helpful and provided good information and photo opportunities. This is a great way to see many parts of Kakadu that would be hard to get to by road. Would highly recommend this scenic flight to anyone.

How best to appreciate millions of years in the making...

Well, that was an excellent decision to dip into the kids inheritance and enjoy Kakadu from the air. With a well planned route that took in a couple of laps around Darwin and then along the coast to enjoy the stunning river-coast scenery culminating with the low-altitude cruise along the escarpment near Jbairu, we certainly weren't disappointed. Our thanks to Shravan for safely piloting us there and back (although the unplanned excursions into roller-coaster territory were not that well received by one of the passengers ;-)). Nonetheless, if you are considering taking this flight then don't dwell on it, just do it!

Wonderful Adventure, Accommodating Company

We reached out to these guys for a bit of a special arrangement with our Kakadu scenic flight, and they went above and beyond being helpful, accommodating, and reasonable with the pricing arrangement. Patient too, with our often shifting plans and such! Customer service makes a company, and they really delivered for us! I cannot recommend these people enough! We flew with them twice and just loved it. Kakadu is a wonderland and we were very surprised at how much green there was despite being the end of the dry...where we live when it's dry everything turns brown! Just stunning. Thank you everybody!
