We turned up early for this cruise, perfect weather, then told the cruise was cancelled due to staff shortages. A month later still no refund through booking.com or Sealink, both have not responded to requests. ZERO STARS

Didn’t happen

Looking forward to it. Arrived early for the cruise. Only to be told by someone who walked off the ship ‘ no harbour cruise today’ sorry we only had a few bookings anyway and a staff member left. So that was our cruise looking at the water from the terminal

Short but relaxing cruise on Darwin Harbour

Beautiful day, smooth sailing, informative commentary (although the crew member reading the commentary was probably not a good look!) Also a sign confirming that the cruise does leave from the ferry terminal would be helpful

Apauling - trip was cancelled on our arrival at Cullen Bay with no prior warning as we were the only ones booked - disgusting 😡

Harbour cruise

Beautiful cruise, great informative commentary. First time in Darwin, crew were very helpful in suggesting places to visit etc , went above and beyond to be helpful. Would do this tour again and recommend it to everyone. 😁

Awesome experience

The whole trip was memorable. The captain did a great job explaining what the different things were that we could see from the harbour.

A pleasant hour on the bay

This is a very nice way to spend an hour. The commentary is interesting and the boat is very comfortable.

Very pleasant and informative trip

Very pleasant trip with plenty of interesting commentary. It was a beautiful day, and the crew were very friendly. We caught the Big Bus there and then back to town. We have certainly learned a lot about Darwin.

Short Cullen Bay harbor cruise.

This was a short harbor trip on a catamaran. The captain visited with us before the excursion and did commentary while cruising. Really friendly staff at the office where we purchased the tickets. A nice, short harbor cruise (45 minutes) which gave us a good feeling for where we were. We also got some interesting historical information. It was worth it for us.

Informative

Had a morning open prior to flying out and it was the perfect activity to fill in. Super informative, yet relaxing. Appreciated the water as we boarded as it was already getting warm Good bit of history!

Great harbour cruise

Very good, well run and informative cruise. Great to get a different perspective of the city. Can sit outside in the sun or inside in air conditioned comfort.

Harbour cruise without commentary

The audio on this cruise was indecipherable. It seemed that there was plenty of information available but next to no-one on the upper or lower cabins could hear it.

A great day out!

This was a great tour. Very informative. It was lovely cruising around the harbour on a gorgeous warm day. And then staying in Cullen Bay for a lovely lunch, was a lovely way to finish off the tour. Highly recommend!

The expert commentary, wonderful ship and the beautiful views made for a wonderful way to see Darwin

A little disapointed in this thought it would show a little more of the Darwin harbour or Fanny bay.

Worth for the money

To see the places where we could not see from land like world war bombing area etc . Guid was very good

Darwin Coast History

Seeing & hearing all about the history of the coast of Darwin the skipper was very knowledgeable. Staff were very friendly & made sure we were all comfy

Beautiful day on the harbour experiencing all the history of Darwin. Good, informative and lots of great photos.

Disappointing

Boat was very comfortable and beautiful still conditions. The commentary was basic and difficult to hear over engine noise.

Lovely way to spend 45 min

Everything was great from the bottle water to the captain. Views were beautiful . Boat was clean. Missed out on an outside chair so that was disappointing.

The boat experience was good. BEWARE prices quoted on the web site are in USD but not identified until after you pay.

Grab the left hand side!

It was a bit confusing at the ferry terminal as there were no instructions about where to wait or that the ferry captain would come up to you to meet. Unless on port (left) side of the boat a little hard to see. Commentary was good Little bit on the expensive side compared to some other tours

Loved it.

Highly recommend seeing the sites of Darwin from the water. This tour did not disappoint. The cold water was a lovely touch.

Very well organized tour, with good customer service. The captain was knowledgeable and friedndly. The tour started on time without delays.

I particularly enjoyed the commentary on the History of Darwin Harbour. Also the perspective of Darwin city from the sea was very interesting.

Our Cruise.

One member of our group was unable to attend the cruise due to illness and the crew made every effort to make the family feel better by also taking them to the island.

Good tour

The skipper/guide was very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the boats he was pointing out and describing to us. The harbour itself is lovely of course.

Excellent little cruise!

I thought it would be nice to have a harbour cruise, to feel the sea breeze in my face on a hot and humid day. I did not expect it to be so interesting! Friendly crew, interesting commentary and an invitation to the bridge to learn a little more... Most enjoyable! (We went on the 45 minute harbour cruise.)

Great way to see the harbour.

This was a comfortable and informative way to view the vast Darwin harbour. You can choose to be out on deck if you wish but there is a perfectly good view from the air conditioned cabin. Complimentary chilled water is provided, Very smooth ride and the boat very punctual from and to the ferry terminal

Great value harbour cruise.

This was a great trip to give you an overview of the city and its major sites. The commentary was interesting and the crew very friendly and helpful. The Ferry was very stable and had an inside air conditioned cabin, as well as outdoor seating.

It would have been nicer...

It would have been nicer if the guy doing the tour had the volume turned up a bit more. Hard to hear what he was saying sometimes. Would have been great if the tour was a bit longer than 45 minutes

Informative Tour

Great way to sea Darwin from the sea. Informative commentary on the history of the area. Would recommend to do this tour early in your holiday, will give you lots of ideas on things to see.

Awesome value for money.

Great way to check out the harbour and very informative. Air conditioned comfort and complementary water brilliant. Can also sit outside if you wish and go into the wheelhouse if that’s your thing.

Pleasant Cruise

We took the 11:55am Harbour cruise from Cullen Bay. We arrived early and had a walk around & grabbed a coffee/smoothie from a water side cafe. Cruise was very pleasant with an informative commentary. Staff were great & cruise was pleasant with enough information for interest but not over done. We walked down from Darwin City & grabbed a scooter back.

Quick way to get acquainted with Darwin

We took the Sea Link 11:55 am harbour cruise, which lasts about an hour. Because of Covid, the passengers were outnumbered by crew, who were all very informative and friendly.
