An extremely well organised evening, with a delicious seafood buffet, friendly staff & a beautiful NT sunset. Worth the money & would highly recommend.

Fabulous sunset cruise!

Good food, great sunset. The only thing that would make this better was if we had known that it's possible/given an option in the "book tickets" menu to book a table outside or on second floor.

💯 worth it

From start to finish totally worth it. Evan the tour guide was brilliant, knowledgeable and entertaining.

It is a wonderfully relaxing way to see a world-class sunset.

It's just perfect. Your boarding experience is smooth and the welcome genuine. It's NOT overcrowded at all, which made for a fantastic evening. The service was spot-on and the sunset amazing. Different levels with grazing plates on the sun deck and a buffet inside. We were up top and enjoyed every moment! There were three sections of commentary which added to the whole thing, though if I were to be picky, the play-list running between might need a bit of tweaking as we heard some songs three times!

Amazing. Highlight of our holiday.

Harbour dinner cruise on the Charles Darwin was faultless. We booked the buffet dinner which was inside the boat and there was a wide range of food with seafood, hot food and salads. All the food was exceptional. I advised them when booking that my wife was lactose intolerant and as soon as we boarded the vessel the staff were already prepared to ensure that she would have oil with the bread and not butter and came across and told her which foods had got dairy products in. There were also hot and cold desserts. Good range of drinks to purchase. The service was very attentive. We cruised into the harbour area. Saw the sunset and could go out on the deck, outside. This was undoubtably one of the highlights of our trip to Darwin and I have no hesitation in recommending it. We used the hop on hop off bus to get to the wharf for 5.30 and we used the shuttle bus back at about 8.30 to get to the lift and walkway but it is walkable in about 30 minutes from the CBD.

Great night cruising harbour

Fabulous night cruising around harbour with lovely buffet dinner. The commentary was good, delivered with passion and sense of humour. Well worth the experience.

Fabulous harbour cruise

What a great night out, watching a fabulous sunset while enjoying a champagne on the Darwin harbour, while enjoying a lovely buffet style dinner. The food was lovely and fresh and well organised. The weather was fantastic lovely calm balmy night. Staff very friendly would certainly do it again.

Would be better in daylight

Food was ok. Stuck sitting inside. Didn’t get to see much. Would be better to go in daylight. Not value for money.

Great cruising

A very wonderful cruise of Darwin Harbor with great commentry of the history , staff looked after my wife and I perfectly and the food was yummy. Recommend this for those visiting Darwin.

Sunsets like no other

Wonderful sunsets, great commentary and absolutely amazing staff! Norts and Antonio made all the difference. They realised our table was next to the engine room so they found us a spot at the front deck. Such a great gesture that made the trip so much more enjoyable.

Pleasant

Great buffet dinner lots fresh fish very organised, bit overcast for sunset but still nice, wharf was a pleasant stroll from our hotel.

Harbour sunset cruise

My wife and I both loved this sunset cruise. The meals were well cooked with a wide variety of choices. Staff were helpful and polite.

Great experience

Great way to see a beautiful sunset over the harbour. Staff were friendly, efficient and the food was wonderful It was also great to learn about the history of wwll Japanese bombing and Cyclone Tracey. We also saw the rather large war ship at the dock and the harbour looked magnificent lit up from the water.

Sunset cruise

It was lovely food,the oysters and prawns were to die for. Sunset was beautiful and great company. Had a very enjoyable night. We got to meet some lovely people. Would highly recommend.

Sunset experience

Nice food. Great sunset. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The wines were OK. Selection of beers very good. Plenty of room to move around. Crumble for deserts was lovely.

Lovely

So peaceful and the crew and commentary was great. Some people were very noisy and disrespectful to others that wanted to listen to the commentary. Otherwise excellent

High expectations but not quite delivered.

Well run and efficient entry. Staff were lovely, drink prices acceptable. Just not sure if it’s worth the money. Oysters lovely but they ran out, prawns were smallish and a bit tasteless, barramundi was amazing. Salad average. Not a great variety of desserts . Think you are paying a lot for the boat trip which is fine. When you book you can’t choose seating so experience can be very indoors but can go outside for sunset photos. It was a pleasant experience and can tick that box as done.

Charles Darwin Dinner Cruise

Thoroughly enjoyed it but it would have been nice to have a commentary on what is around the harbour as we passed. All we had were two recorded commentaries about the attack on Darwin during the war and Cyclone Tracey no mention of the places we were sailing past.

Beautiful

Booked this cruise as part of our stay in Darwin. Easy to find the wharf, easy to get on the boat. We were treated beautifully the whole time by all the staff. The food was amazing and there was loads of it. The sunset was so unique and I highly recommend this experience.

Darwin Cruise

Directions to pick up point were very poor and to the wrong point. The hot food was just warm and we were first up. It would have been good to get more information of points of interest on the cruise. Overall the cruise was ok.

NICE DINNER CRUISE ON DARWIN HARBOR

We parked on The Stokes Hill Wharf and boarded the dinner cruise boat just before 6:00 PM. It was a warm night but a little cloudy. We got a table inside by the front windows. There was a bar so we got glasses of wine and enjoyed the scenery before the buffet dinner was served. The food was good and included oysters and shrimp and ice cream for desert. The boat circled the harbor and returned to the wharf around 9:00 PM.

Very attentive staff, food was amazing, temperature was great. Sunset over the ocean was brilliant. Would recommend to anybody

Good Experience

Goods service - staff friendly and helpful goods food - seafoods and other hot foods, unlimited and good prices, in compare with the environment, we have wonderful time to enjoy sunset at Darwin.

Harbour dining at its best

One of the better harbour dining experiences, we have had. The staff were very efficient, the drinks prices were appropriate and the food was plentiful. So good value for the price. They had apparently been practicing on polies so they had it just right. LOL

A wonderful ‘must do’ experience!!

Very well organised and timed. The tables were well set up and the meal was delicious. Sunset was beautiful and well worth seeing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely cruise

We chose the grazing platter so we sat on the top deck. We enjoyed the food and the views of the city. It was a lovely way to enjoy our last night in Darwin.

fantastic experience.

This cruise is fantastic. WE got the graze and gaze platter. which was massive, for two people. and then followed by icecream. if you get the graze and gaze you are up on the sundeck, which starts off very hot and sunny, but then as the sun sets gives you the best views. the service was attentive, and polite, and the views! the views are fantastic. there isnt a lot of commentary. however the purpose of this crusie was dinner and sunset, which it fully achieved. I would highly recomend this !

Relaxing Darwin experience with great food and an amazing sunset.

Excellent buffet dinner cruise

The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. They were very cautious with food allergies and met all our needs.

Amazing way to spend a dinner date.

We took the dinner cruise out from dock 3 and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meal was fresh and delicious. The views and scenery were stunning. A really amazing way to spend an evening. Really enjoyed our cruise tonight.

A must to do

Wonder staff, very friendly and professional, highly recommend. Food was great, views were awesome. Would definitely do it again.

MEMORABLE SUNSET CRUISE

The welcome from friendly and quietly efficient staff started the trip off on the right note. The tables were beautifully set and the food buffet was simply superb. The choices for both dinner and dessert were varied and the portions as plentiful as one could enjoy. There was just the right level of commentary not to intrude on a genuinely great night on the water. What really made it so utterly special was a blazing and fiery sunset of the most exquisite colours across the water. Its backdrop made dinner almost feel as if one was living in a dream somewhere in another world … !

Disappointed

$5 for a small glass of post-mix soft drink! Ran out of crocodile during the buffet, which I was particularly looking forward too 😔 Extremely lousy commentary. I was looking forward to learning a lot about where we were sailing, but that was not to be. Food was nice as long as you like chicken 🥴 Wouldn’t recommend

Darwin Harbour Cruises Dinner Cruise

This cruise was outstanding, I loved it & the same with my friend Janet. White table clothes sitting at the bow of the vessel was superb. Reasonably priced & great seafood & drinks, very well done Darwin Harbour Cruises, the whole night was excellent. I will be visiting you again in the future a big Thank You from Janet & I.

Disappointed

We pay premium price you fill the boat with locals for free and they are loud, couldn’t hear the captain talking and little kids running around everywhere.

Relaxing evening at Darwin Harbor

The views of the harbor and of Darwin were great. The food was very good by boat tours standards. The commentaries were very informative and entertaining

Charles Darwin Harbour Cruise

It was the most amazing experience. The food was the best and the crew was first class. Diego made the best cocktails and I would say he is the friendliest and best barman in Australia. We had a blast and it was defiantly value for your money. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Brilliant cruise - everything perfect

Perfect setting, lovely food, staff amazing and views to die for - a fabulous way to enjoy a Darwin sunset at its best! Proper crockery & cutlery, linen table cloths & napkins with finger bowls too - great attention to detail. Highly recommend this sunset cruise.

Enjoyable evening

Fun night on the harbour. Staff were efficient and friendly. Shame the weather didn’t cooperate, but still managed to get some beautiful shots of the sunset. Only negative was the Laksa Fish, the fish was tough, but the sauce was good.

A lovely evening with a great buffet.

We were seated at the front of the Charles Darwin, outside, (which was much quieter than inside) on a lovely mild evening with great views of the harbour. The sky was overcast so the sunset wasn’t at its best but we enjoyed it anyway. Excellent food, particularly the plentiful prawns and the barramundi.

Pleasant and relaxing

Great food with great staff and a good commentary. A nice way to see and learn a bit about Darwin.. a great way to try Barramundi for the first time as well! It lives up to all the hype!
