Very enjoyable trip

The service was very good as was the food and there was plenty of it.We had a delightful hostess and nothing was too much for her There was one issue---The loudspeaker system was useless and needs a serious overhaul

Staff were extremely nice especially Olly and the food was sensational. Great welcome champagne and a great commentary- very comfortable seating

An amazing experience not to miss.

We had the most enjoyable dinner, along with the most amazing experience aboard the Adieu cruising Darwin Harbour taking in the incredible sunset over the water. Thanks guys you are amazing and doing a great job.

Not as good as we thought it would be not enough of the plenty of sea food only had four oysters drinks to buy was hard work, fish was over cooked,

An amazing cruise around the Darwin harbour. The meal was fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend .

Best way to see Darwin

Great evening! Fantastic way to view Darwin. The boat was well equipped and comfortable. We had a wonderful meal...especially the oysters. Service was very attentive....welcomed on board with a glass of bubbly! Highly recommend this experience 👌

Breathtaking

Best cruise and best staff! The food was amazing and totally recommend it to everyone ! We had the top deck and were allowed to bring our own drinks The sunset was amazing and there was a three course meal they cater for peoples dietary requirements Best time ever thanks guys

Great Seafood

I really loved the actual boat. It had lots of character. The staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. There were heaps of prawns and oysters and the Jewish was delicious! The only complaint I have is that my husband and I were sat at the worst table on the whole boat, sharing with 2 singles, one who was very friendly, the other surly and unfriendly. I wasn't a last minute booking so I'm not sure why we were sat there.

Superb night out

We absolutely loved this experience. We had just arrived in Darwin & it was my husband’s birthday & this was the perfect start to our holiday. We were made very comfortable immediately by the crew who sat us down at our table, gave us our drink & our first course then took our order preference for dinner. The scenery was very beautiful as we headed out toward the setting sun. We got chatting to some local people who suggested many places to visit in Darwin. The food was delicious on this cruise as the sun sunk lower & the colours in the sky intensified. We could see that all the passengers were chatting & having a great time. The night ended after the sun disappeared below the horizon & the sky darkened. Couldn’t fault our night out & we were delighted with the food & service provided by the crew. Highly recommend!

Sunset Dinner cruise

A lovely way to spend a couple of hours enjoying Darwin's beautiful sunset! The food and wine was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Only drawback was we ordered the salmon for main which we think afterwards was threadfin salmon. Never heard of it and was not cooked 'crispy skinned' as we enquired and were assured it would be. Would never have guessed the crumbed fish was any sort of salmon in a million years, by taste or appearance, but okay nonetheless. The service was excellent as was the quality of each course which included Coffin Bay oysters, prawns, dips, breads, a variety of fresh salads and fresh tropical fruits. Big shout out to the slim man (Shane?) who used to own the boat who was very attentive with providing our drinks upon embarking and ensuring everyone was looked after and provided commentary throughout. Unimpressed with the very overweight man who opened the gate and proceeded to engage and process entry with everyone except the women who were quite obviously lined up right in front of the gate, and who then continued to engage with and admit other patrons away from the gate! Not impressed with this blatant oversight.

An experience not to be missed.

A truly magical evening - definitely 10 out of 10. The Cape Adieu ketch itself is lovely and seating was comfortable, the staff were very friendly, the food, especially the seafood, was fantastic (plenty of it and super fresh), even the background music soundtrack was terrific! Can't give them credit for the fabulous sunset but Darwin sunsets are generally pretty spectacular. We had a wonderful evening and would definitely strongly recommend this tour as good value for money. Perry from Adelaide, May 2024

Worth Every Cent

Fantastic, worth every cent, strongly RECOMMENDED, {the only disappointing part was when we saw the crocodile swimming in the port we thought will have HIM for dinner, it didn't happened, ha ha}.

Loved our sunset cruise. Friendly crew provided great service. Fabulous playlist complemented the beautiful sunset. We did the cruise only option. Nice dips provided to start the evening then we self catered our own food. Cold drinks at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this company

Loved this evening from the boat to the menu and the wonderful staff. The food was great and they catered for allergies etc. Would highly recommend this cruise.

A Bloody Good Cruise

Excellent cruise. The staff were wonderful. Great service by our waiter (young English lad). The chef was amazing and effortlessly catered to my dietary requirements (coeliac disease). We give them 7/5

This sunset dinner cruise was perfect - exactly what we were looking for during a busy trip. The food was great, the service was nice, and the scenery throughout was sooo relaxing.

Best Darwin Sunset Cruise

I highly recommend this tour. Apart from the gorgeous sunset scenes, this boat is a more personalised service. The Chef cooked the best meal of grilled fish and accompanying salad l have ever eaten. My husband's steak was also perfection. Can't recommend enough ❤️

Exceptional experience

What an incredible experience I was not disappointed. I booked this cruise after seeing it was voted Darwin’s best seafood restaurant. So true. The seafood starter was delicious the smoked mackerel especially. The salmon and steak for mains were mouth watering. The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. The vessel its self is beautiful and provide us with such a great evening in Darwin. Would recommend to anyone great way to spend my last evening here

Sensational “snap”shot!

Our guide Will was excellent! With his humour, local knowledge and enthusiasm we were guaranteed a brilliant day! The Croc cruise, Buley Rock Hole, Florence and Wangi Falls were magnificent highlights. A delicious healthy lunch was much appreciated, and loads of opportunities to enjoy and learn about this unique environment. Sooo good!

Best night ever !

This Sunset Cruise is incredible ! Staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The vessel was beautiful and all seating outside meaning everyone got the best view of the sunset. Colourful yummy salads with your main meal either Fish or Steak, delicious fresh seafood nothing could be faulted ! Absolutely perfect night out in Darwin ⛵️

Unlimited oysters and prawns! Friendly staff. Would have given 5 except for some reason I thought we were going to be sailing rather than motoring… my bad…

Superb meal, Fantastic crew. Highly recommend this one.

The food was superb and the service was fantastic. We loved the commentary which was very informative. We were not overcrowded and the skipper positioned us well to view the beautiful sunset. This was our second cruise with this company and both times lived up to our expectations and more. 3 years ago ( post covid) we took family on another boat as this one was not available. While it was a pleasant experience, it could not compare with the Cape Adieu

Disappointing

Romantic dinner cruise watching the sunset, sounds awesome right? Wrong! We got allocated an upstairs table for two and then copped the pointy end of the pineapple. For some reason we were designated as the last table permitted to go up to the Bain Marie for every course. By the time our turn came around we were left with nothing but the scraps in the bottom of the trays. It certainly made it worse as we watched people with food literally toppling from their plates leaving. We were lucky to scrape together a meal (and by taste of what we got that probably wasn’t a bad thing…very average). Even dessert was a disaster, there was no milk left to make a small cup of tea to go with my one piece of watermelon. The service staff appeared to have ceased duty once they graciously allowed us to peruse the scraps for the last course (you’d think they’d alternate the tables to allow people a chance of actually getting some food but that would be common sense) I finally found a staff member and requested some milk for myself and another passenger who was wanting a cup of hot brew. It was like we asked him to sacrifice his left leg but we eventually were gifted with enough milk for one cup of tea between us. A fitting end to a very disappointing experience. Was so glad to get off the vessel. Never again.

A pleasant and relaxing cruise.

Attendants are friendly and helpful. Excellent service. The sound system may be a bit old, hence difficult to hear the captain’s introduction of the scenery.

Beatiful sunset dinner experience

This is a great experience for couples. The service was good, the food was well presented and cooked. Comentary was good without being over the top. Byo alcohol is permitted glasses and ice bucket supplied No corkage. Glad we did this.

We had a hens night on board and it was fabulous. The steak was huge and cooked to perfection. The vessel was beautifully kept. The staff were helpful and pleasant and the master was a great bloke. I highly recommend this

originally booked online and worried as it was booked by viator and it was an american company in american dollars. Worked out to the same amount in the end and was smooth sailing with the booking. They bent over backwards with changing seats around so we could get the spot we wanted on the boat. We were surprised at the unlimited buffet of oysters and prawns thinking we would only get a few but they kept filling it. The main meal was amazing and we could barely fit it in after the entree. The BYO was awesome... we could bring in as much as we wanted which was great! The sunset was perfect along with the weather and the staff were perfect.. always seeing if we needed anything else and taking pics for us. Highly recommended to do this cruise... will definitely do it again when i come back to Darwin !!!

Embarking ran smoothly and departed on time. Our waiter, French, sorry forgotten his name, was organised and attentive. The food was good and tasty. The sunset was amazing. A very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely worth it!

This cruise absolutely delivered what we had hoped for. Staff friendly and helpful, the food fresh and plentiful. We brought our own wine and other drinks onboard, wine cooler with ice and stubby holders happily provided - can’t beat a Darwin sunset out on the water. Highly recommend.
