Wonderful day, our guide Evan was really knowledgeable and funny. The billabong was amazing to visit, so much birdlife and crocodiles. Lovely lunch, fantastic day.

Amazing Wetland Experience

Loved this tour, so many iconic species of birds and heaps of crocs to see close up.The biodiversity is amazing in this wetland and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Can’t fault it, well run and interesting.

Corroboree Billabong Wetland Cruise - Fantastic guide and great adventure!

It was a fantastic trip out to Fogg Dam and the Corroboree Billabong with a very knowledgeable guide- Evan. I would absolutely go again. Evan had a huge amount of local insight for both the adventure we were on and the locations. We got in really close to the animals whilst remaining in the boat and Evan was a great Crocodile spotter. If you have the time, you should absolutely give it a go!

Highly recommended Nature Tour

The guide Evvo, was passionate about the native Flora and Fauna with a vast knowledge of birds and crocs. There was plenty to be seen around the billabong all in their natural habitat. Feeding was not necessary as nature was able to be observed without disturbing anything. The lunch cruise was well catered with dietary needs taken into account. A wonderful relaxing natural environment.

Spectacular Day with Loads of Wildlife

Great day with Evan as our guide. Great knowledge and humour. Amazing birdlife, cannot find the words and photos don’t do the views justice. Also saw both fresh and salt water crocodiles. Lunch was delicious and fresh ingredients.

Evan our tour guide has a fantastic personality and an encyclopedic knowledge of the area. Also appreciated the pub stops for a cold beverage!

Great day in nature with lots of wildlife

We had a great day with our guide Evan! He has a lot of knowledge and experience about nature, wildlife and history. During the trip he is very enthusiastic and tells about both Darwin and all the things you see around you in the bus and on the boat. We saw plenty of special birds, like Jabiru and white-bellied sea-eagle. He put a lot of effort in spotting both salties and freshies (crocodiles), and we saw multiple! The lunch was also good, eating some bread/meat/salad while watching all the birds around us. We had a lovely day!

Excellent eco experience

This full day cruise was excellent. Our guide, Evan, was very knowledgeable & entertaining. He was passionate about his job and had a great affinity with nature. We saw two crocs, a freshie & a salty, numerous birds including kites, white-bellied sea eagles, jabirus, brolgas & egrets. The water lilies were in full bloom too. We also had a lovely lunch on board & a stop at the pub on the return trip for a refreshing drink. Would thoroughly recommend this trip

Great day trip from Darwin and great introduction to the wetlands and a special billabong. We saw lots of wildlife, particularly birds and crocs. Evan our guide was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals we saw and made our day very easy and enjoyable.

Top tour out of Darwin

Evan the guide was knowledgeable,funny and very helpful. The drive passed by vey easily as he keeps you engaged with his banter and information on the area and history. Enough stops for the restless and toilet stops. Great scenery. The cruise was so lovely and relaxed. Lots of everything they promised. Lunch was on the water which i loved.

Great Day Trip.

Great trip with Evan out to Corroboree Billabong. Excellent knowledge of history and local attractions and communicated the detail very well. Visited Fogg Dam, Corroboree Tavern and had a great 2.5 hr boat trip on Corroboree Billabong. Good paced trip, lunch included and lots of great photo opportunities. Highly recommend as a trip to take when in Darwin. Good overview of all things NT.

Amazing trip, not too far from Darwin

Wildlife in abundance. Great day out.

Fantastic day out with Evan. Saw so many birds, crocs and meadows full of waterlilies. Really memorable. I feel eternally grateful to have experienced this wonderful place from the water and with our super-wildlife spotter, super knowledgeable guide, Evan.

Brilliant day birdwatching

The billabong the thriving with bird life- we saw Jabiru and Brolga and many others. Evan is a super-friendly & knowledgeable guide. Great day!

To The Billabong and Back

The whole experience was wonderful. Connie was a really lovely lady who was full of interesting information and clearly loved imparting this to all on board. Really loved seeing the special Jabiru couple (birds) and the white belly sea eagles and their spectacular nests. Thanks for a wonderful day Connie.

Great day in the N.T. Outback

Evan gave us some wonderful advice on the area with all its adversaries and his knowledge of animals plants & history was exceptional, we especially enjoyed the river cruise, the lunch was also delicious 🤤

Magical tour with something for everyone.

The tour guide, Evan, was so knowledgeable throughout the day. There were so many birds to observe and photograph, as well as coming across a croc on the bank. Evan was then able to give us so much information about the habits and physical structure of this female croc. The boat ride was the major feature of our first holiday in NT.

Corroboree Billabong - great day out

Awesome trip - well paced. Great local knowledge from our guide ( Evan was almighty!!). Lunch was great. Loads of wildlife. Well worth the money.

Best NT experience

The trip was amazing and made more perfect by Evan our tour guide! His knowledge, Dad jokes and good all round nice guy attitude made this a memorable experience. Thank you for my 50th birthday water lily!! The tour was spectacular and the bird life on the billabong is extraordinary!

A great billabong experience!

This is a great excursion. Our guide, Evan knows a lot and is very entertaining which makes this the perfect combination of funny and informative. We saw lots of different birds and other wildlife and although not the ideal time of the year we even saw a 3m saltie sunning on the banks. What more could you want!

A relaxing day out

Fantastic day seeing the local wildlife up close. Our guide Evan was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Breaking up the trip via a visit to the pub was very welcome in the hot weather. Highly recommended!

A full day of highlights

From the moment Connie picked us up from our accommodation to the the moment we got back on the bus to return to Darwin after the wetlands cruise, the information conveyed by Connie never faltered. She was entertaining, informative and very friendly. The cruise on the wetlands was wonderful, relaxing and filled with highlights. Obviously you are at the mercy of the season, the day, the weather as to what you see on the billabong but we luckily saw some absolute highlights and Connie was more than prepared to drive the boat wherever the action was. From bus driver to boat driver to informative guide to lunch waitress Connie was amazing. We enjoyed our day very much.

Great day at Corroboree Wetlands

It was a full day with our amazing guide who was very passionate about the wetlands. We saw lots of crocodiles and the wonderful Jabirus. I’d recommend this tour especially as it is a short distance from Darwin and full of sightseeing.

Interesting and enjoyable

The tour guide was fantastic. Great information with humor. The boat ride was really interesting with a lot of fauna spotted. Stopping at other interesting places a bonus.

Billabong day.

This was the 3rd day trip from Darwin and by fa r the best. Evan made the day so interesting. We learnt heaps of interesting things en route as well. Being on the boat was great - able to see the wonderful birds and habitats and the lotus and of course the highlight was the Crocodiles. - especially the one that led us along the billabong. Interesting stop at the cultural centre. The packed lunch from the Corroboree Tavern was the nicest we had while away. A day with tremendous memories and photos.

Wetlands and wildlife

Great day trip showcasing some of the wildlife of the top end. Evan (not Gary) shared some of his vast knowledge of the regions history and wildlife during stops at Fogg Dam, during the billabong cruise, and while driving between stops. Well-paced day trip with great lunch and superb guide. Pick up and drop off in Darwin makes this an easy and recommended trip.

A wonderful way to see and learn about the area

Was picked up on time and the day started with information about events that happened in Darwin, followed by information of what we were seeing en route. Fogg Dam was definitely worth a visit. Followed by a short stop at the local , come everything place. From pokies, to petrol, to alcohol, food and items plus toilets. The billabong trip was relaxing with plenty of opportunities for photos when we saw something. Plenty of crocodiles, water lilies and birds. It felt for a small period of time you had an inkling of what Darwin is like and what it has to offer. The guy taking us was great. Very knowledgeable and caring. Problem is I can’t recall his name. My apologies.

Wetlands wonderland

Best day trip ever. The wetlands are sensational as was the guide Evan. He really likes his job an has great aussie humour! The crocs and birds were in abundance.

Wonderful Day

Evan collected us from our hotel and after collecting a few more people we set off to Fogg Dam. All the way Evan filled us in about the history of Darwin and when we arrived at Fogg Dam we saw a good variety of birds in a short time and then stopped while he collected our lunches from a local pub and we could use facilities and get a drink before setting out for the short trip to Corrobree Lagoon where we boarded our boat and had about three hours on the water enjoying the scenery and his excelkent commentary about the plants, birds and crocodiles. There was a lot to see and we also were given a wonderful fresh box of salad and salad meats plus cheese which we consumed while observing the birds and crocs of which there were many. One large croc must have been over 4 metres long but we saw many well over 3 metres long as well as some fresh water crocs. I could highly recommend this trip. Excellent guide and lunch and I felt the guide Evan gave one hundred and fifty percent to the clients. I felt Evan knew his birds well and was passionate about the lagoon. I would would highly recommend this company.

Great guide, awesome views, perfect day out

Evan ran a good tour and was knowledgeable. Amazing how he spots crocs and other wildlife from far away. Great views of water lilies too. The day was well organised and everything was on time. Lunch was a basic salad with cold cuts and bread which was decent enough and healthy. Glad I came. Would highly recommend this!

An amazing day trip!

Picked up at 9am from our Darwin hotel by tour guide Evo. Group size about 10 so plenty of room on the bus. En route to Fogg Dam bird reserve we stopped at the Corroboree Tavern for coffee and to use the facilities. En route Evo gave us lots of interesting information about the area including flota and fauna and the geography. The dam stop was really interesting with lots of birds visible. The onto the Corroboree Billabong. We boarded the boat which was comfortable with great views all around and plenty of shade. Evo really knows his birds and we saw quite a few although I can't remember all the names! We also saw fresh and saltwater crocodiles. Got back to Darwin around 5pm. Evo is a great guide, considerate and friendly and an expert on the area. The billabong is an amazing place to visit, I can't recommend this trip enough.

Fabulous day getting close to nature in the NT

The wetlands were stunning. Teaming with birds and crocs. Our guide was awesome! Incredibly knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious. Everything about the day was terrific. Highly recommend this!

Loss of Crocs

The cruise was great. Saw plenty of Crocs, birds, and even a buffalo!! Our guide was smashing and I feel horrible that I forgot his name. I loved the tour and highly recommend

Crocodile spotting on the Corroboree....

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Evan, our guide. We learnt so much about the local wildlife - Evan is very knowledgeable, and he ensured we all got the most out of our Corroboree experience. He was also very entertaining! Can thoroughly recommend.

Great day exploring the billabong and wetlands.

Great insight into the complex ecosystems of the NT wetlands. Evan, our guide, was welcoming, well-organised and shared a wealth of knowledge about the birds and other animal life of this region. We had a great day and would highly recommend this trip. Ron, Gayle & Carmel.

Great way to see the wetlands and wildlife

Wonderful tour of the wetlands and wildlife. Our driver/guide Evan gave us a smooth safe ride and entertained us with stories and jokes on the journey. Evan really came into his own when we went on the water where he expertly spotted the wildlife and positioned the boat so all could get a good view. Lunch was very tasty and we ate it parked feet away from a resting 4m crocodile- surreal!

I would definitely recommend the tour + good value for money

Driver/Tour guide is knowledgeable, pick-up/ drop-off service at accommodation (not too early) as well as actively offered to drop-off to Sunday Mindil sunset beach market (good for travellers who don’t drive), nicely prepared lunch on Billabong Wetland cruise with the crocs/birds/lotus. I would say the tour is good value for money. My only suggestion would be spending less stretching time at the local restaurant/ souvenir store.

Wetland Experience one day tour

We so much enjoyed the amazing road trip in the van with Evan the guide who was highly knowledgeable and explained the ecological history of the environment and indigenous people’s influence and input in sustaining the natural environment. We observed the crocs in their natural habitat of the billabong. Also observed the bird and fish life. He safely drove the van and the boat and also was so entertaining. Evan was a hoot, a true comedian. Very highly recommend Nice lunch served by Evan.

Wildlife experience of a lifetime

A fabulous day with guide Evan. Very informative and helpful. We saw the NT big 5, saltwater crocs, freshwater crocs, sea eagles, water buffalo, Jabiru. Many opportunities for photos.
