Wonderful tour of Dallas

We had 6 in our group and Preston was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and he gave us a lot of historical information on Dallas from its earliest days up to the present. Our Tour Guide, Tim, was very informative and friendly. He took us to places in Dallas that we had not seen before. This is a must see tour.

Preston knows Texas

Our guide Preston was extremely knowledgeable. He is a wealth of information from the origins of Texas to present day. The tour gives a great introduction to the neighborhoods of Dallas, like a hop on/hop off bus tour but more in depth. That being said, the van was comfortable and I never felt rushed at any of the sites. There is one bathroom break on the tour, at the Farmers Market (but of course Preston knows where there are bathrooms along the tour route). He also gave me recommendations for the remainder of my trip outside of Dallas, which were spot on. I'd recommend this tour especially if you what a comprehensive, overview of Dallas. Our tour guide Preston really made the difference- a true historian, preservationist, and local.

Great Tour

Our tour guide, Richard, was VERY knowledgeable about the areas he drove us through. Richard was friendly with a good sense of humor. Richard was an excellent driver, and I felt very safe while riding. Richard had scheduled stops that allowed us to take pictures and breaks. We enjoyed the tour immensely. Thank you Richard

Our tour guide, Dan, was awesome! He was knowledgeable and great at storytelling! He narrated the history in such a way that you could see that happening in your head. Also, great sense of humor that surely adds to the fun!

Dan was an energetic and enthusiastic guide. His knowledge of the city and history was quite impressive. The van was clean and new. I recommend the 3 hour tour, it was the perfect length. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dallas.

Family day in Dallas

Informative and fun tour with guide Dan. Hit many downtown Dallas highlights with perfect photo op’s and stories that kept all ages interested (ages 8-77). Comfortable van. Would definitely recommend this tour and Dan as guide!

Great overview of Dallas

I love to do a tour whenever I visit a new city. I had one day in Dallas and did the Sightseeing Tour of Dallas with Dan as the guide. He is a wealth of information and was very enthusiastic in his presentation. The stops we made were great and had many photo ops. I recommend this tour!

Dallas tour

It wasn’t good. The tour guide just keeps on talking even the tourist can’t control sleeping and others just staring at their phones. We only got to hop off the van 3 times with two 10mins each and one 30mins. We went to a location where he said rich people live and spent most of the time there inside the van. And that we never care about that rich people anyway. But thanks for that experience we learned.

Dallas, more than cool....

Guide was extremely knowledgeable, best guide I've had in years. So much more to the history than I knew. Will come back to see more. Thank You.

The Wind in Our Faces Tour 😄

This two hour tour in the open air cart covered a great deal of territory - not just geographic but topic-wise as well: architectural, arts and entertainment, history, current topics, personalities both historical and contemporary. We had the opportunity to walk around a bit in some of the interesting areas Tim pointed out. Tim has a great depth of knowledge which he shared with clarity with amusing stories interspersed. A great tour for a great value.

Great Dallas Tour

Tour was as advertised and our tour guide, Richard, was very knowledgeable and took us to places that a first time visitor would never have seen. The tour began and ended on time and all questions we asked our guide was able to answer.

Informative and fun!

We love the historical stories and the sites that were not common. Love the Thanksgiving place. Although it was raining, we were still able to see a lot and hear morr stories. Tim is fun .

Best Tour for a Comprehensive Overview of Dallas.

This tour is a good way to get an overview of all that Dallas has to offer. The tour helped me to decide where I wanted to spend more time on my own. I liked that we got to see areas like Highland Park and Oak Cliff and not just the highlights of Dallas. Tim, our guide was great and very knowledgeable. It is 3 hours with a few stops. Very enjoyable.

What a great way to spend 3 hours in Dallas! Our tour guide Dan was obviously a passionate lover of the history and culture of Dallas and did such a great job of sharing his vast knowledge with those of us on the tour. Highly recommend.

The tour leader was very knowledgeable on all things Dallas, especially JFK. Tour was in a large golf buggy transporter. Plenty of good photo opportunities.

Worth it

Very comprehensive tour of downtown Dallas. Saw many areas our son had driven through but did not know about. Made a few stops for photos and bathroom breaks. Orlando did a good job with history of the area. Would definitely recommend. We all really enjoyed the tour.

3 hours to work in downtown Dallas Texas

Great tour great tour guide, Tim was very knowledgeable and very courteous and engaging. He even suggested a restaurant for us to go for dinner for barbecue, the van itself was very clean and smells great and one thing is important is to have those windows clean so you can see through and understand the tour this van who is very clean I took pictures through the windows glass and it was very clear. It's a must do tour if you're in the area took about 3 hours my wife and I enjoyed it very much.

Three hour tour

I booked the trip last minute to kill some time waiting on a flight. It was definitely worth it! Tim Hamilton was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide! Great way to see Dallas in short time!!

Great tour

Outstanding overall tour of Dallas. The van was comfortable, and the stops were well planned. The tour guide was an actual published historian who gave us unique perspectives at each stop AND along the route.. Highly recommend.

Not worth sightseeing

Looks like Dallas is not tourist place and so not worth to plan just to see buildings. Apart from AT&T and JFK killing place, nothing more to see. And these places, tour didn’t have stopage.

Dallas, through the eyes of experts

Visiting from Vegas, Fun Dallas Tours gave us a great experience touring the city of Dallas. We selected this particular tour because we wanted to experience many parts of Dallas, not just one area like JFK parade route, museums, etc. Our driver and guide (Richard & Dan) were amazing. We felt safe and comfortable throughout. They both had a vast knowledge of the area and history. The price was very reasonable and the three hours passed by quickly. We highly recommend this tour and The Fun Dallas Tour Co.

Okay

Enjoyed learning about JFK assassination. The van was cram packed full of people and the AC was not cutting it. Honestly, tour was fair, but I wouldn't do it again. We left the tour early.

A must do in Dallas

Dan and Richard were exceptional guides. Very knowledgeable and informative. We learned so much about Dallas and JFK. Highly recommend this trip to give you a fun and interesting day in Dallas.

Dallas Tour Oct 2, 2024

We had a wonderful tour guided by Dan and a new trainee Richard. This is the third time I’ve done the Dallas tour with them and I have learned some new history each time. Well worth the price for a three hour tour. My favorite part is always the architectural history about the buildings and houses.

Had an amazing time

Our tour was amazing our Guides were great loved seeing the different parts of the city and seeing the history of the city was amazing. Dan was GREAT! He was very informative and we had fun!

Miserable in Dallas

Guide kept air conditioning to a minimum, and did not keep it running at short stops. Miserable experience for what should have been a ln informative, fun tour. Would not recommend.
